Just a week prior, my JetBlue flight was scheduled on time and then three things delayed thre flight for three hours right before we took off and now this! I was told it was due to needing to replace a crew member from another delayed flight. How can that affect so many people? The seat was also super uncomfortable and the back of the cushion was rolling forward, which made it hard to sit for that long. we also didn’t have a gate when we landed so that added on an extra 30minutes. Really disappointed."

Such as maintence, rebooting plane systems, etc. Employees were clues and every employee gave different explanations. Once we boarded the flight crew was nasty and rude. Lastly, after boarding we were held at gate for another half hour before taking off. This was first time in many years i flew on jetblue bc i switched to american post jetblue tarmac nightmare. I will never fly jetblue again ever."

Said It was our fault we were in wrong line to check our bags bc we had not read the sign that clearly said if we were pre-checked we should have waited 10 yards to the right. She refused to take our bags in the full sevice line until other passengers deferred and insisted our bags be checked In ahead of them since we had been waiting longer. There were not enough people to staff the bars in the JFK terminal before our flight boarded. Waited 15 minutes for one bartender to return from break. At next bar, in front of gate #16 there was no bartender. After 15 minutes someone appeared, only to take orders and disappear. Finally got a drink at a restaurant, nearby, but they said the drink had to be consumed there, not taken in the plane. No alcohol was offered on the plane between JFK and Burlington. Baggage crew ripped the handle off my Rimowan luggage."

Pros: "You can pretty much count on having a great crew with JetBlue This flight's embodied patience: patience with the lady who wanted to bring a smartecarte loaded with diaper bags, blankies, handbags and stuffed animals onto the plane; patience with the baby in the first row who cried throughout the entire boarding process and patience witht; patience with the lady in the first row (who didn't have a seat in front of her to put her handbag containing a small service dog underneath) and two, I guess, wanted to keep the dog on her lap during take off. It was a plane full of first time flyers, with resulting chaos. And they kept their cool throughout."

But it sure makes it trying for people who are sharing the same cramped space. You don't realize that there's an art to being a good passenger until you see passengers who are unskilled at being passengers. I know this sounds very unkind, but it was a late flight."
Pros: "The check in line was a little long, but moved quickly. Then the unthinkable happened and we got wind of our friend passing just as we got to the front. The woman working at the counter felt so bad for us that she actually moved us into our own row so that we could have the space to grieve. We were also traveling with a dog so that in itself was so kind and accommodating."
Few problems I’ve discovered: 1. The e-ticket icons were misleading, lead me to believe one carry-on was included (image attached). End up costing me $100 for the carry-on at the counter. 2. Avianca does not allow booking to be managed if ticket purchased via 3rd party. I couldn’t purchase carry-on online or upgrade my ticket. 3. Avianca charged me $10 to use the counter instead of using the kiosk. But the kiosks were behind yellow (do not trespass) tape. The lady at the counter said nothing she could do about it.
Will travel with Avianca next time. Really good experience.

Cons: "The tickets we paid for back in August of 2017 were bought for a direct flight. When checking in for our flight back to JFK on March 18th, they told us there were no seats available. They then put us on a connecting through Orlando, all of us had to sit separately now. We had to each spent money we did not intend to use for this vacation on food since our day was well extended beyond expected and parking fees for keeping our car at JFK longer. Once arrived in Orlando, two out of the four of us missed our flight to JFK because they gave us the wrong boarding passes and because we are students in college, lost multiple hours of studying tonight. We had to then work with Delta who was kind enough to find us a flight multiple hours later. Like said before, this split our group up and caused multiple difficulties. We will never fly Copa again. They believe a $400 Copa airlines voucher is justifiable for what happened but it is not. I’ll never fly with them again for this inconvenience so a voucher doesn’t do anything."

Cons: "We landed on time...but waited more than 30 minutes to get to the gate. This is unacceptable. May not be Spirit fault, but should be addressed to proper authorities. We pay a lot of money for airfares, which includes a lot of taxes...but quality of service very poor. However is responsible should be penalized otherwise this will continue."
Pros: "My seat was the best and only thing about this nightmare. I fully intend on writing a detailed letter to you to Spirit to TSA to MCO to whomever I need to in order to either be fully compensated or have the nation alerted to this farce of a company."
Cons: "Spirit airlines in its entirety. The website the process the boarding the lies the prices the phony employees the rude service. With one exception. Natalia at the entrance of MCO when you check in. Poised calm and very professional after her it went downhill fast."

Cons: "The whole experience is worth the low fare, rather pay a little more that have Spirit haggle you for luggage, fee seating fee, beverage fee and what else. In the end its cheaper getting on to a normal airline with a seat that reclines, something to drink at no charge and no additional fees. You end up saving ZERO with Spirt Air"
Cons: "The entire flight had no reclining seats on a red eye!!!! The seats also had thin cushioning and were very uncomfortable. One of the worst flights I have ever taken. Never flying again with spirit even if they pay me to fly on their cheap airplanes"

Pros: "As always this Spirit flight was on time and the plane was clean. The flight crew was friendly, caring and courteous with an extra bonus...one steward must have been an ametuer comedian. He was tasteful yet funny and really lightened the mood! Thanks again for another great flight!"

Cons: "Airport • Kayak as a third party website usually gives a flat rate, we pay, and that’s it. Not with Spirit Airlines. When you get to the counter you HAVE TO PAY EXTRA for your carryon ($55) and your checked bag ($50). That’s an extra $100 that could have been used to purchase a flat rate flight through Kayak. • You can only pay with a card, you can barely use cash Flight • Seating was too tight, no room to stretch out • Snacks even the minimum was expensive. $4 for a 4 oz of juice with ice and more • When descending for landing the pilot circled around for a full hour- first we were over the incorrect airport then when we arrived at the correct airport there was too much air traffic to land right away. Between the surprise fees I did not budget for and the extra GS expenses, along with everything else, I will not ride Soirit Airlines again."
Cons: "Flight got canceled, next flight was 48 hours later and They implied that the hotel was my problem, so we just booked Another airline. The %50 of my airline ticket fee for A checked bag wasn't helpful either. Placed on hold for almost two hours !!' Pay the extra money for a diff airline"

Cons: "The flight was canceled after being moved forward and then delayed. Spirit personnel at the desk didn't know the flight was even canceled and then, when they freceived the update, finally offered either the next flight out or a refund. However, no vouchers were offered even though the next flight out was a full day later so hotels and meals were at a loss to all customers, in addition to the full day delay in travel plans. I also never received an email notification of the cancellation and only received the flight delay email an hour after I received a gate change notification that had the flight time crossed out."

We were checking at the counter, that's when we found out. There were others that were shocked & disappointed also. We missed our family reunion in Orlando they didn't help us at all! I won't use Spirit Airlines again! We should be compensated but no one's trying to listen when we were calling customer service"

Pros: "Flight going from FLL to EWR( Newark) on Saturday morning was ok. However, return flight from EWR to FLL the next day was a complete disaster. Would never fly spirit EVER!! I had to buy a new ticket with another airline ( united) for a one-way ticket($370). No reimbursement. NEVER SPIRIT( the hit or miss airlines!!!!!!!"
Cons: "My 6 am flight was cancelled at 4.30 am with the excuse that the weather was bad at the destination. I don't understand how a dry 90 degree weather can be an excuse for cancellation an hour and a half before the flight"
Pros: "no issues. carry on was fine, picked my seats no issues with that. flight attendants were very friendly & professional. smooth flight, on time. Aircraft was super clean. there was food and drinks available for purchase. Seats are a bit less "chunky" than other airlines but they were fine."

Cons: "My flight 876 was delayed from 6:00pm-9:15pm.... Then the flight departure changed to 7:30pm and them to 6:50pm. So basically one has to sit at the gate for 3 hours or miss your flight which I almost did and I'm sure may people did. This situation was handled completely improperly. I went to the counter and they told me to go to jet blue??? Then I waited in line for 45 minutes at Jet Blue and they had no idea what i was even talking about. Nobody could help at me at Spirit of explain what was going on. I called spirit and was on hold for 30 minutes, then finally I go someone who said look at the monitors....they can't help me. I have never flown Spirit airlines and I never will again. The worst customer service and it just makes not sense to tell the people it's leaving at 9pm then switch the flight to 6:50, if giving an explanation that may help people understand what is going on and to stay close to the gate, them we didn't depart until 8:15 anyhow, after boarding the plane sat for an hour and 20 minutes. As a new customer this was the most horrendous airline I have ever traveled, and I travel alot. Katie Cassidy"
