B1 crew crewmembers that are engaged in lightering, Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) activity, wind farm activity, private air/sea crew and other similar crewmember activities;
Students with an F-1 or M-1 visa and their F-2 and M-2 dependents, if they arrive from or have been in Ireland, the UK or Schengen Area in the past 14 days.

I was told that we could board another flight leaving in 30 minutes, so i went to that gate, crew was not there and we boarded the plane. We had to de- board and wait for the crew. She clearly was not happy to be working, never smiled, and banged on the bathroom door while I was peeing because I was "not allowed to miss the instruction video." Had I not seen it a few hours earlier, I would have waited to use the restroom. Good thing they showed the same video three times in a row."

Then after a slew of nonsense announcements about waiting for a new pilot, redirecting the destination, and basically misinformation about reboarding, we are told that the flight MIGHT be canceled; It has been nothing but one excuse after another and honestly after a 4 hour delay with no real answers, I really cannot find any reason to fly this airline ever again. The stewardess and j had to run all the way back to security so I could go through the whole process again. I delayed the flight and everyone was upset. It was completely unnecessary. Simply because one employee didn't do their job, I delayed a transatlantic flight to Chicago. Best part, I arrived at the airport four hours before my flight. Also, the seats are incredibly uncomfortable. And I was separated from my traveling companion for this entire process. Had I missed the flight, she would never have known."

She made me put my laptop in my backpack and the carrying case as well. The boarding pass didn't assign a seat to me and told me that I have to get another boarding pass at gate.. Simply unacceptable. I am a frequent flyer with Frontier and Spirit pirit, thanks to those Airlines which never treated me bad and gave me hassle like United did. No more United for me ever. WiFi was advertised but never worked inspite of me wanting to pay for it."

Cons: "Everything was trerrible on this flight! We were delayed from our first connecting flight out to SF to LA and we're put on a different flight connecting to Houston to get us home sooner. We were told by the gentleman at the check in that our correct boarding passes with our seats sitting all together would be given to us at the boarding desk. That was the biggest mistake ever to take this flight because we were then delayed 3 more hrs! Not only that but when I approached the next gentleman at the boarding desk in Houston he was super rude! He was yelling at me when I told them that "they in Dallas,the worker at the check in" told me to get my boarding passes in Houston. He kept yelling saying "there was nothing he could do that he could do that he didn't know who THEY were but that I was talking to him now and that's why he is saying" I tried explaining to him that I just wanted to make sure I got in the right flight home because this is what I was told to do by the employee in Dallas. Not only that but our connecting flight to Houston was horrible! The flight attendant (the male) was very very rude!!! He also was yelling at my niece and nephew when we were trying to put the carry on bags in the compartment. And telling us we could have anything underneath the seat when clearly we could have our personal item underneath. Overall we had the worst experience with United and will never again fly with them! I understand delays may happen but there's no need for the employees to be so rude. so much for their customers service!"
Cons: "We booked what was labeled a Lufthansa flight and paid extra because we had flown Lufthansa before and thought the service and the flight were excellent. Imagine our surprise when we found out it was a United Flight. We were on the plane for almost 11 hours and we just had a small lunch and a snack that was tiny. We were starving when we got off. Next time, British Airways gets my money. I want to know what airline I am paying for all the way through without the switching shenanigans."

So had to get luggage and turn right around to check-in for Denver to Cedar Rapids and pay another $25 with the same airline because I wasn't able to check all the way through! Cons: "My flight was delayed by an hour and a half. That's the amount of time I could have spent to drive home to Milwaukee. I stuck around because there was no indication of a flight cancellation. I would rather hop on a 15-30min flight than go through the hassle of renting a car. BUT the flight did get canceled, the next flight was completely booked and the next flight out after that was at NIGHT. I arrived in Chicago in the morning. The gate agent told us all to head to United customer service. There I received RUDE, poor excuse of a "service" only to be told they don't give refunds at the counter as we were told by the gate agent. So do that on your own time. THEN I had to buy my bus ticket and spend 1.5-2hrs on top of already waiting 1.5hrs for the flight that got canceled. HORRIBLE. Will never fly United again. Did i mention upon my arrival home I found out American was WIDE open seat wise to chicago?? And no one checked for me!"
