Pros: "Most of the crew was great with the exception of curbside check-in in Denver."
Cons: "Curbside needs to stop chasing cash tips and do their jobs. If they focused on that tips would be easy to come by. The curbside attendant that took my bag didn’t even bother to check my id. He asked me my name and asked where my destination was. I told him Cincinnati as a layover then LaGuardia where he said that was wrong. He then proceeded to print a boarding pass that wasn’t mine and load my bag into the conveyor. Not 5 mins go by when I realize what happened I wound up having to go to special services to rectify the situation. Which ultimately consisted of me waiting another hour in LaGuardia to get my bag. Please delta have these curbside handlers actually want to do their job and stop chasing cash tips."

Cons: "I bought a ticket thinking i bought it through kayak but I actually bought a ticket through a third party in India. Where no one spoke good English. I called the agency to find out if I needed a Visa for my visit to Australia and the told me no. So when I showed up to the airport I didn’t have the right documents and I MISSED MY FLIGHT. Also the wouldn’t just change my flight and charge me the change flight fee. They cancelled my flight entirely and made me buy a whole new ticket!!! Worst flight experience I’ve ever had and this is not my first time flying to Australia or out of country."

Would not check ticket name vs profile name. Happened two consecutive flights. Flight tomorrow morning has no TSA Pre clearance on boarding pass. This will be three consecutive flights. Also seated me next to a person who needed 2 seats to himself. Please never seat me next to a passenger who cannot fit in their own seat. I am switching to SWA."

Cons: "The Entertainment sucked. Again I was sitting in comfort class which in theory should buy you more comfort and better entertainment. There was a ton of movies from the 90s and the same movie selection from about 6 months ago when I traveled with them. Also, what is going on, with having to use your own cell phone to watch movies on the plane? Whatever happened to the screens in the backseat of the front seat? I ended up with neck pain from trying to watch a movie on my phone. Delta has become very cheap. It is going into some serious decline."

Cons: "Let me just say that I’m a loyal Delta costumer until now. The flight attendants (the two women) were an absolute nightmare. They were so rude and condescending. I was carrying with me my service dog and a bag containing an expensive medication (it couldn’t go on the top bin). Despite being in the comfort class and having the seat next to me empty, we were tight for space. The flight attendants were unreasonable and forced me to put my medication on the top bin despite the fact I had told them it was extremely delicate, that it that to go upright, and that I needed to keep it with me. They did not listen and pressured me into giving them the medication. The medication could have easily gotten broken. Thankfully it didn’t but this is no way to treat a human being."

I got to the airport in Denver at 5:30 am for a 7:30 am flight to Atlanta, and the line to check a bag was about 40 people long. I waited 55minutes to check my bag, as they kept moving the ski priority people, and people in danger of missing their flight, to the head of the line. There were obviously not enough Delta workers on staff to process all the flights at that time."

Cons: "I drove 5 hours to get to the airport and unfortunately ended up delayed because of traffic and slow shuttles from parking. I arrived 1 hour before the flight, but security was so slow I didn't get to the gat until 10 minutes before arrival. There were no gate agents present and despite banging on the gateway door and other Delta agents at the adjacent gate, no one helped me. I can only surmise that they had already given away our seats, which were award tickets, GAINED BY BEING A LOYAL DELTA CUSTOMER. The gate agents were unapologetic and useless at rebooking, and I bought a ticket from Southwest instead. As i was trying to get to my sister's wedding, and repeatedly told the agents this, their behavior was particularly abominable. DELTA, YOU'VE LOST A LOYAL CUSTOMER."

Short flight

Flight departed 2 hours late and arrived and landed but did not deplaned the passengers until 30 minutes later which made it impossible to make my connection that left before deplaning

Attendants in the airline could have communicated much better to give update on delay, but they did not give any information despite several times getting up to ask questions at the main check-in. Many of the passengers were very discouraged. Plane left nearly 2 hours late due to an unclear maintenance issue, paperwork and also no fuel put in the plane until all passengers we on board."

Cons: "The seats are extremely restrictive and in a aisle seat I had the gentleman sitting next to me with thighs touching and attendants brushing by me as I squished to left to avoid contact with him. Entertainment screen between center seat and window seat so I just didn't even try to look at it and mostly just leaned forward to have a little space. Also another inch or 2 was taken by person in front of me putting their seat back. With such restrictive space why is this even possible??? Flying has become ridiculous and I try not to as much as I can."

We arrived home and they did not transfer two of our three checked bags to our flight, thus making it highly inconvenient upon our arrival home with no luggage."

It was awful-the A.A crew members were rude and actually beyond belief still had jobs. I refused beverage, dinner and light meal services. I got attitude for ordering 2 beeers at once instead of wine for dinner-pure I requested Premium Economy a couple days before and even offered to pay it then-no luck C32 G I got. And to fly in Chicago? You got to be kidding me-never again."

As a customer, i dont need all the rambling explanation every ten minutes about the issue. I was told that we could board another flight leaving in 30 minutes, so i went to that gate, crew was not there and we boarded the plane. We had to de- board and wait for the crew. After the crew showed up, the rest of the flight was pretty standard."

There was also apparently an issue with the auxiliary power -- the lights went out in back half of plane when we arrived at gate. I prefer having a screen behind each seat, rather than those attached to ceiling on this flight, so that the entertainment can be customized."

I was glad all my flights were stuffed to the gunnels. Presumably that is best for the environment rather than lots of planes with fewer passengers in each."
Cons: "Passport control with new computer ID checks was fast. Baggage was slow coming. I booked through Netflights and they didn't book me a good seat. If I could have changed it myself they should have told me. On the way to Tampa on 3rd March I couldn't check in within 24 hours and had to wait half an hour while they changed our plane. BA used to do short science programmes which I loved. Shame these have finished."
Pros: "Friendly, helpful flight attendants. Flight left and arrived on time, despite being completely full (asking for volunteers to bump). Offered to gate-check our carry-on bags for free to alleviate crowding of overhead bins was fine for us since we already had checked baggage."
Cons: "If you don't pay for the premium seats, the legroom is pretty tight. I'm only 5'8" and I felt it -- if you're 6'+ you better pay for it. This aircraft had screens, but not individual ones so you're stuck watching whatever sitcom replay they pick, although there is a moderate selection of other music. I've been on a newer aircraft with the in-seat power and interactive screens so I know how good it can be, so this was a little disappointing."

The crew was great. seats were small. Plane was late both going and coming. Waited both times upon arrival to get to a gate. Not too bad on arrival to Flint. Worse at Punta Gorda. No entertainment on board, but didn’t expect any. The flight itself once we got in the air was good.

Cons: "I knew my comfort would be cramped so that was expected. My only complaint was we couldn't understand the boarding instructions at the gate when they were calling zones. The microphone stunk! So because we couldn't understand,, people got in line who shouldn't have yet, and others didn't get in line that should have which seemed to really annoy some mouthy jerk in zone 5....who then had to turn around while boarding bc he forgot his phone, lol. Karma. So, that was my only entertainment and it was pretty great."

They have 3 different economy packages and the economy basic doesn't get refunds and you can't change the flights if needed. It feels like they are banking on increasing there ROI with this basic economy ticket which is 40 -60 dollars cheaper than the next economy package. Intuitively they know people will pick that, but if something comes up the customer is screwed."

Asked for an announcement to be made on board or to be moved to seats closer to the front so we could get off the plane quicker, did not happen. Offboarded and sprinted across the airport for our international connection and was notified by gate attendents that the gate closed five minutes ago and that they could not let us on the plane. Meanwhile, the plane sat there for an additional 30 minutes while it fueled and waited for release from air traffic control. There were six travelers total stuck there in San Fran at that gate, all of us begging to be let on the plane to Beijing, the last one for over 24 hours. Zero compassion from staff at the the airline gate. They did not care about us and did not care about leaving their travelers stranded. Our total travel was Denver to Bangkok, 26 hours of travel including layovers in San Fran and Beijing. In San Fran (after missing the gate connection), United rerouted us through Haiwaii and the customer service agent that did this reroute did not finish the reroute to our final destination. We got to Haiwaii and were stranded again, at the United service desk for four hours having to once again provide documentation of our initial travel plans to Bangkok, having them build a new itinerary to our final destination. Overall, 20 additional travel hours have been added to our itinerary, almost double our initial travel time. We have had to call and cancel pre-arranged bookings in Thailand as we are now missing two full days off our trip. I am absolutely disappointed and heart broken as I write this still stuck in the Beijing airport waiting another six hours to connect to Bangkok. My fiancé and I were traveling to Thailand to get married and have received no compassion from anyone at this airline to try and get us there. I fly United for work quite frequently and have never experienced such horrendous service and lack of basic human compassion. I am flat out disgusted by United and will not be using them again, for personal travel or work related trips, because of this horrendous experience."

Cons: "I realize that the airline doesn't have much control over screaming babies, but the reality is, my flight experience was significantly worse because of one, a couple rows back, who kept screaming at the top of their voice for most of the flight. While everyone was seating themselves, my fellow rowmates asked me to exchange my window seat for an aisle seat, so that grandmother, mother, and daughter could sit together. That put me two rows closer to that screaming baby. I came prepared to watch a movie with my phone and new noise canceling headphones, and then discovered the United Wi-Fi didn't offer movies on that flight, the same aircraft type and route as when I was able to watch a movie that way, earlier this year. I didn't find a way to connect my Bluetooth headphones to the plane's entertainment system, and I'm also disappointed in myself, to have to say, it took me far too long, to figure out that I needed to interact with the screen in front of me, through the control pad under my elbow on the armrest. By that time, there wasn't enough time left in the flight, to start a movie. So, I just played music stored on my phone, which helped mask the baby screams."

Boarded plane about midnight and after ninety plus minutes we were made to deplane because current crew was over their allotted airtime. A big airline like united should have a better grasp on scheduling flight crews and stand bys available instead of putting us through this hell. No hotels available so we all had to stay overnight in uncomfortable chairs with many sleeping on floors. I felt bad for myself as a 69 ur old woman with some health issues but felt even worse for the parents flying with little toddlers who just wanted to go home. The day of my flight Denver had 8" of snow that stopped by 9am yet I couldn't get a flight out till the following evening. Psp to Denver to Newark should have taken six hours but took me over 38 hrs of travel time. Denver should be used to snow and 8" shouldn't cause such extreme disruption at that airport. And united needs to better coordinate its flight schedules and working crews. I will be contacting customer service regarding compensation as cancelled flight was due to company musmagent. Finally it would have been nice if united opened its club to the travelers who couldn't get hotels. Sitting in a comfortable place would have been so much better especially to the elderly and small children traveling. Thank you"

I was lucky enough to make the flight thanks to a late flight from vegas where 7 people were connecting from but it was pretty stressful to walk up to the counter to be told the reservation you have had for 2 months was no longer reserved. This was one of the rudest staffed planes I've been on. These guys aren't over worked. I don't know why they can be so hateful. I loved united but this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth. It all worked out in the end, but I still can't follow why my flight reservation was canceled without me being notified. I shouldn't find something like that out when I get to the airport with my luggage in my hand."

They charge for snacks other than 2 oz. of pretzels. If this is considered part of the hospitality industry, the company gets a failing grade. The individual staff do the best they can."

About 5-15 minutes all passengers was told to exit the plane. There were only one frontier employee who was working at the at the gate after we all exited. This specific employee said the manager had told all other frontier employees to go home. Me and my wife were really upset about this situation. It took a very long time for the employee to deal with all passengers refunds to changing flights. This had affected our flights to MkE because my wife mother was in her death bed to passing away today. The way things were handled during the flight on this day was a horrible experience. We then bought our flights from southwest after all this hectic morning."

At least delta has TV or United has snack options or American has decent leg room. Didn’t like either Frontier plane I flew on. Now I know for the future, it’s not as cheap as I thought."

I'm sorry, that's not acceptable as an answer. I've never had a lost bag while flying with others, so that's what I will do from now on."

Why sell bar drinks when there is enough disorderly conduct in the air? The plane was cold, noisy and the outside air currents were choppy. No conversation from the pilot was forth coming as to what to expect during the flight. Then there was a the Master Card Commercial. Cons: "I mean, I understand that it's the goal of the company to sucker consumers out of every penny they can, Frontier is just very in your face about it to the detriment of the overall experience. Throughout the online check in process there was an endless stream of popups asking if I was SURE I didn't want to pay more for a carry on, to choose my seat, etc which made the check in process very tedious and frustrating. And doing blatant things like making the "yes I want to pay more" button huge and basically trying to hide the "no thanks" button. As if customers aren't going to see right through that and get annoyed? (Their cost benefit analysis really didn't account for happier people being more willing to pay for extra things) Also, when my flight home got cancelled it was almost impossible to get a hold of a real person to talk to. Since it was due to weather conditions Frontier had an announcement on their website about what to do. Which...had a convenient link to requesting a refund but no instructions on how to go about re-booking, just that it was theoretically a thing they would do. When I called their customer service I was met with a recorded message about how they're overwhelmed with calls (understandable) followed by same message that was on their website and then...nothing. They ended the call. No option to speak to a person, no "you'll need to wait an hour for someone to be available", no menu to flip through...nothing. Frontier just very obviously doesn't care about customer experience (other airlines/companies at least have the decency to pretend). You'll get an adequate flight pretty cheap (provided you didn't want to bring a significant amount of luggage or eat/drink on the flight) that will get you from point A to point B. Just don't have any expectations going in."

Hours after we landed, a customer/flier called customer service in order to receive any definite information about getting a flight back to Cedar rapids. Different information was given to my parents who were waiting to pick me up in CR. They were forced to find a hotel to stay in that night. This was on Christmas Day. I am still confused as to why we had to land at KCI instead of Des Moines, Madison, Quad Cities/Moline, etc. Plus, it was heavily suggested by us, the customers, that Frontier offer us food after 2 1/2 hours of waiting in the gate we were sequestered to (security had left for the day). We finally flew back to CR at 3:30 AM with a 4:30 arrival time."

Was advertised as some free seating options but when checked into flight 24 hr ahead of time had to pay $16 a piece for middle row seats at the very back of the airplane. Flight was delayed 3 hrs because one of the flight attendants did not show up. Will never fly frontier again."

The moral of the story is: you get what you pay for!!!!"

Cons: "I had to bring my wedding dress and called ahead to make sure I had it figured out. Most airlines have a closet type storage area by the flight attendants and frontier does not. I was told over the phone I would have to buy a seat for my dress so I did that. Then when I went to the airport the lady was pretty rude and said that it was incorrect and it would be dumb to do that and I wasn't allowed. Then I had to pay an extra fee as well. Once to the gate we were delayed and the plane was there the entire time. We were scheduled to take off at 6:55 and boarded at 7. No reason for the delay and they didn't keep us updated. I was not very happy with Frontier this time."
Pros: "Airfare appeared to be affordable and competitive. Typical flying experience."
Cons: "I just took a small backpack and duffel bag. They made me pay $40 each way for the duffel bag! I thought every airline at least gave you a personal item and carry-on. This put me in a position of having to put $80 on my personal card for a work trip or to abandon my bag. Ridiculous! I don't like being put in that situation and will remember it next time I go to book. I also recognize they need to make some money off of snacks and drinks, but to not even provide a complimentary drink of water feels extra stingy too."
Cons: "Delayed over two hours on each flight"
Pros: "Direct flight option"
Cons: "2 hour delays on both legs of flight. Paying for carry on"
Cons: "Well my plane was supposed to board at 8:25 a.m. and leave at 9:10 a.m., however it had not arrived yet. After the plane arrived, it took the crew quite some time to get all of the passengers off. When we did get on the plane, there was another long wait because they were short on bag rampers. After all of the delays, my plane exited Denver at or around 10:50 a.m. Throughout all of this the stewardesses were quiet and didn't explain the delays. It wasn't until quite some time that I requested as to why we hadn't left yet. There were more issues when the flight arrived in Indianapolis. It took approximately 10-12 minutes until the jetway was even connected to the plane. Finally, I'm off the plane and I get to the baggage claim and I was there waiting for my bags for about 30 minutes. It's the first time that I've had any of these issues as a flyer and it's also the first time that I've used Frontier. This flight isn't one of my first flights either as the military has had me flying all over the US in recent months. Looking at this experience, I think that has more to do with the company itself rather than a random flight experience."
Cons: "Paying for drinks."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "I shouldn't have to choose to sit in the exit row in order to get enough legroom to fit comfortably in a flight where I'm not going to get food, peanuts, or a seat that reclines. Every leg of my trip was this way. On my way out I flew a red-eye and planned to sleep because I had business to deal with once I landed. Without legroom or being able to recline I was too uncomfortable to get any sleep. I also had to pay for carry-on AND check baggage? Is a person not supposed to bring anything with them when they fly? Lastly, if I wanted to sit anywhere comfortable or in a reclining seat I again have to pay to upgrade? This fact was unknown to me until the online check in process. Overall, I'm very dissatisfied with my experience. I have another trip next week and I already chose to pay $100 more for American Airlines instead of frontier, I will have comfort, food, wifi, won't have to pay for my baggage. This is America, we expect comfort. At least give us wifi. My experience with Frontier has made up my mind about paying more to get treated the way I deserve, not as if I was flying in a C130 Cargo plane."
Pros: "Only thing I liked was the cheaper price, but I am thinking it wasn't really worth it."
Cons: "Our plane boarded an hour late. Didn't give any explanation until it was the time we should have taken off. Sat on the runway at our destination which I understand was not the airlines fault, but still not a lot of forthcoming information. Felt like there was even less leg room than on a Southwest plane and I am petite. Can't imagine a big person or tall person sitting in those seats. The half trays were of little use except for to put your drink on. Yes, it was a little cheaper that we didn't have luggage, but I think I'll go back to Southwest."
Pros: "location"
Cons: "never depart or arrive on time. can be hours late for no reason other than unorganized"
Cons: "When you check in they charge you $125.00 for your bags that sucks will never fly Frontier again"
Pros: "Crews were polite"
Cons: "No TSA Pre-Check Not even complimentary soft drinks!"
Cons: "Delays with no explanation, info screens not updated, 3 hours late. Horrible experience"
Cons: "Just when you thought airline travel couldn't get worse, Frontier brings you hard seats that don't recline and tray tables about half the size of a sheet of paper. Want a real seat? No problem--pay more. Want what they call a "laptop-friendly" tray table? No problem--pay more. And don't expect to use TSA Pre-check: Frontier doesn't participate. By the time you've paid to bring luggage on your trip--whether checked or carry-on, it costs--you've racked up a cost you could have used to fly a real airline. Pretty soon they'll be charging extra to fly on a plane with wings. And then their website was down all morning when I needed to check in. I used to fly Frontier a lot. Never, never, never, never again."
Cons: "Late boarding, flight was very bumpy/unsteady, had to wait upon arrival before unloading for about 40 minutes"
Pros: "On Friday, July 8, at DIA airport I waited almost an hour before someone took me to my gate A42 for Flight 122 supposedly departing at 8:10 and boarding at 7:35. Finally, I had to bring this to the attention of the ticket agent as I did not want to miss my flight. Noone came and the poor overworked worker took me at 7:45 -we did not arrive at the gate until 8 o'clock (luckily the TSA checkpoints were NOT busy) and had the flight been on time, I would probably have missed it. This gentleman asked repeatedly for assistance for over 40 minutes and no one came to his aid. I panicked and I want Corporate to know they need to hire adequate help so their customers are not treated like dirt. Once I boarded, the crew was fabulous! However, I am not happy about such a horrible experience. I deserve a refund or free return ticket for my inconvenience. I have flown other airlines and have never had such a negative experience with wheelchair assistance!!!"
Cons: "You all charge piece meal for everything; yet you don't hire enough people - I bet Corporate executives are getting their fair share!"
Cons: "Both flights to & from Denver were over 30 minutes late unloading passengers. This particular flight was late on all counts.15 minutes late beginning boarding. Departed over 30 min. Late and arrival was about 40 min. Late. I do like that charging for carry on means people board /load and deplane/unload quickly.We get what we pay for and Frontier is cheap. We payfor each little add on, reserved seats, beverage, carry on, etc.Good option if cheapness is primaryfactor over comfort, convenience, or reliabledeparture and arrival schedule. Unrealistic tight scheduling means little time to clean or prepareplane between flights."

Cons: "In Denver--The electronic sign at the gate my boarding pass indicated was not displaying my flight (AGAIN!!!)and it did not indicate if the gate number had been changed. I and other passengers were alarmed that the flight was not going to happen. Someone did check the airport departure and arrival screen and found out the gate had been changed. Can't the electronic signs at the gates indicate the gate changes of flights? somehow get the word out at the gate? Not all people are experienced enough flyers to know to check the big airport arrival/departure boards and there wasn't a Frontier soul anywhere around to ask."
Pros: "No vegetarian options or non-gluten options for food."

Cons: "The 3 people in front of me must have chain smoked a carton of cigarettes on the way to airport with the windows up. Flight attendant would not move me-- they had serious attitude and clearly need some customer service classes. Had an allergic reaction from smokey smell sneezing and coughing. Nose burned and started bleeding from the airplane air (almost as if the filters were not changed on the a/c blowing on my face). Seats wouldn't recline. 30 min delay leaving airport (direct flight from Denver to San Antonio, but yet we sat on runway bc of storms in LA???) arrived to SA late at 10:15 pm. Stood and waited for another 30 min for bags to come out with ZERO communication from airline letting us know which luggage carrosel to stand at. Meanwhile the lovely folks at southwest had to finally make an announcement for Frontier to give us any amount of info. Doubt I will ever go this budget airline again. Awful. Saved $75 instead of flying southwest. Wasn't worth it."
Cons: "Was at boarding gate A36..which is what the big board said to be at..my ticket, as well. Waiting with 100+ other passengers at gate..watching Netflix out of boredom waiting on plane. 15 mins past departure time..I go to customer service and they tell me its MY FAULT I missed the plane that left 4 minutes prior because THEY changed the gate to A32.. There was no change on the board..but they said it was announced. It wasn't made clear to those of us who thought we were in the right gate waiting. I was able to fly out until the next morning..putting a lot of plans I and others had in serious jeopardy. Your customer service agents have MUCH to be desired..very rude..taking customers that walked up behind me while making me wait on them to get their sh*t together. I almost lost the only flight available out the next day because they were chatting amongst themselves about personal problems!!"
Pros: "the low far"
Cons: "Again - the high fees for bags … then - this flight was really bad - the kid behind me (not Frontier's fault) kept banging that stupid METAL tray against my PLASTIC seat which - was pretty miserable. So - to settle my nerves rather than turn around and yell at the disinterested mom … I purchase (for $6.99) a beer - first - the brand I asked for was unavailable - then the alternate beer was WARM! - The attendant explained they were loaded onto the plane that way. So - I asked for a cup of ice to pour the beer over. Yep - $6.99 for warm beer."
Pros: "The best part about the flight was when we landed in Dallas."
Cons: "The most uncomfortable flight I have ever been on. The seats were very hard and could not adjust. There was no information about the flight provided at any time during the flight except for when we were preparing to land. Compared to American Airlines (which we flew with on our way to Denver), Frontier has no comparison. There was absolutely no entertainment provided, and there were additional costs and fees at every turn. Not only do they charge for any and all refreshments, they also charge you to have a carry-on bag. The flight was also very very loud. The cabin rattled and roared for the entire hour and a half flight. We will not be flying Frontier again unless some major upgrades are made."
Pros: "Nothing stands out as what I liked - the crew and boarding were average, so I guess not negative is good in this case."
Cons: "I chose this flight because of cost but don't be fooled - you will pay for everything extra - seat selection, carry-on or checked luggage, even coffee or snacks, extra. The seats are absolutely terrible in my opinion, don't recline, limited padding, very uncomfortable if flying over 2 hours. At the end of the day, this was only like $25 less than another airline (american in this case) - and all the other airlines are much more comfortable and include those little things like carry-on, nonalcoholic beverages and snacks. It isn't worth it, use another airline!"
Cons: "No where when I was booking my flight was stated that I would have to pay to reserve a seat. I understand paying more for extra leg room but charging just to pick a seat in the back of the plane is rediculous and makes me never want to fly frontier anymore. I usually love flying frontier, but it makes me pick another airline. The flight was delayed 3 hours and I understand that things happen, but we were never told why our flight was delayed. The flight attendants were OK this trip. Usually I find Frontier flight attendants to be very friendly and seems to love their jobs, but this flight they were not the friendliest."
Pros: "Direct flight"
Cons: "Very unimpersonable....felt like I was just a ticket number. No drinks or snacks unless you have a credit/debit card to buy a soda and snack for 2 bucks, seats seem smaller and the "snack" tray was smaller than a book. But I guess since they don't offer drinks and snacks with your ticket you really don't need that tray. I had to purchase this ticket due to a death in my family and it was the least expensive, but if I had a choice it would have been with Southwest Airlines. At least they still make you feel human."
