Cons: "Seven hours before my flight, I got an email from British Airways saying my flight was cancelled and I had been rebooked on a flight the next day. I called them immediately and was told the flight was cancelled because of inclement weather on the route. I checked the national weather advisory and saw no such weather alert. The service rep at BA told me there was "absolutely nothing" she could do, at which point I asked for a manager. I waited for almost 30 minutes, and once the manager came on I was put on a flight that same night, on a different airline. If I hadn't pushed back and demanded a more reasonable accommodation, they would have done nothing to right their wrong. For this reason I am extremely unhappy with my experience with British Airways."

Cons: "we're professional musicians who fly all the time with fragile equipment. the airline applied an overweight baggage fee (fair enough, normally) but their payment system was down. rather than waive the fee, we were made to wait an hour to pay 150 euros. after scrambling through security we narrowly missed our flight. rebooking took hours and involved going back through security all over again, having our equipment searched for the second time. when it came time to gate-check our guitars, the airline lost them. we wound up boarding our connection to JFK with no idea where they were. finally they turned up on the baggage belt. we would never and have never agreed to send these delicate items through general baggage. One guitar (50 year old gintage guitar) was broken in the process and another of our hard cases was damaged and needs to be replaced. Completely unacceptable from start to finish."

Pros: "Boarding staff was confused and took al long time. The crew were nice enough but disinterested in serving us and were annoyed when I asked for a few crackers or bread to help with a stomach ache. Never got any. I had to get up several times to ask for water. Comfort was ok and plane was warm enough. There was several people who came and sat down next to me in the open seat, 6 or 7 different people who left their own seats elsewhere on the plane and came to sit next to me in the open seat. One woman brought her child over, asked me to love another seat over, so her child could lay down and put his feet in my lap. Then, when Inledt for the ladies room, she left him there to kick the seat in front of him and throw his tuna fish sandwich pieces on me and on the floor. I never agreed to play nanny to her child and after I'd paid $750 for a one way ticket from TPA to AMS, I didn't think I should have to. The mother gave me an earful of her bad language when I asked her to take care of her own child and take him and his fishy tuna sandwich back to his own designated seat. I had asked a male flight attendant to handle the situation, neither he nor the other staff, who stood by, cared that it was disturbing me, or that the other passengers were playing musical chairs with empty seats all night. I have flown British Air more than 100 times in my life. For 35 years it was my go to airline for step up in quality, service and class. This time I could have flown several other airlines that would have been $379, $400, 547, 650 for the same flight TPA to London Gatwick then AMS, instead I opted to pay a little more and thought I'd get a little more. Not any more on British Air. Other passengers on the flight were rested when they arrived. Not me, I was tired and disappointed and kicking myself for paying more to fly British Air. This is sadly understandable, as all quality is down with alot of airlines. But it's particularly disappointing that I'm saying that about British Air after all these years. I have only complained one time to an airline over 30 years. This will be my second time. I plan to send this complaint to British Air and ask for a refund."

Cons: "The flight was delayed by 4 hours because maintenance needed to change a tire on the airplane. The delay would have been acceptable if it wasn't for the excuses the airline offered. First, they said maintenance couldn't find a spare tire, and when they did rob a tire from another plane, they said the delay was due to FAA paperwork. These reasons, most likely true, suggest American Airlines (British Airways sub-contracted this flight to its partner, American Airlines) was not prepared to handle such an emergency."

Cons: "Unfortunately, the passenger beside me a young man was over served by the flight attendant and became extremely inebriated so that when I tried to ignore him and sleep, he kept touching me, rubbing my arm and leg. The crew were aware of what was happening and tried to reprimand him. It made my flight extremely difficult and it was all because the flight attendant served him doubles of whiskey (which the passenger was drinking neat) on six occasions, two bottles of red wine and that does not include the doubles the passenger procured for himself from other attendants. In all the behaviour of this passenger made my flight a complete nightmare and it was totally unnecessary for him to be served this much alcohol."

The overhead reading lights flashed on and off periodically making me a bit concerned about the electricals. Our main piece of luggage was sent on a different flight. It took us over an hour to locate that had happened. We waited at the distribution point. We got one Piecebut not the other. After all we’re taken from the belt we went in search and found it."

The staff had only the most necessary contact with us which was to serve and remove trays and garbage."

Unfortunately Heathrow employees board handicapped people and the are horrible. They didn't come to board us until the plane was 75 percent boarded which is just unacceptable for a wheelchair user who cannot stand. BA had to stop boarding to get us aboard the plane with the help of BA crew who are great."

Cons: "They charged me $90 for my luggage. Several weeks or perhaps even months after I booked, I received an e-mail saying I had booked Super Cheap Economy or some such. It had a link to pay for 'additional services' but not luggage. At the time of booking, I checked and the price given was $35. So, I have protested the additional $55 with my CC company and will see what happens. BTW the luggage was not overweight. They turned off all the lights, including my personal reading lamp, so I could not read and had to just sit there doing nothing. That really blew big chunks. I only got two small glasses of wine."

Cons: "We were in first class, and no On Demand IFE!!! You do have a personal screen in the seatback, but they only play continual loop movies. For us, we started with one movie, but then due to technical difficulties, the crew had to reboot the entire system. So once it was back up and running, they switched the movie. And even that one didn't play through....apparently, at some point they determine its "bedtime" and turn off the IFE!! Crazy in this day and age!!! Also, the plane is old and REALLY worn. Lots of dirt, tired seats, yucky bathrooms, etc. This plane needs an overhaul!! No storage anywhere in the seats either, which was shocking. And the angle lay flat seats are certainly fantastic in comparison to Coach seats, but still hard to sleep and get comfortable."

They way I was asked to move was as if I was a disturbance , as if I sat next to the pilot of the plane ....it wasn't even offered an apology or asked kindly. It's unacceptable."

The check-in and gate agents provide no help or even attempt to try serve the customer. They are just there to perform a task. Norwegian sold premium seats and then puts the customer in Economy in the back of the plane. A bit is a bait and switch. They should refund the difference in the fare to be fair."

Then you go to the small handful of kiosks and find that only a couple are working. So you wait in line. Then you get your boarding pass and walk to the security checkpoint as you do with every...other...airline..ever. You wait on line and watch countless people being turned away from the security person. You wonder why out loud and surmise with the passengers around you - but we’ve all flow. Hundreds of times before, and we all have our boarding passes and no checked bags. So, you think youre ok. Stress. Then when it’s your turn, you get rejected because you have to have a “stamp”. What stamp? I scanned my passport at the kiosk and I have a “known passenger” number. what stamp? Go back to the counter and wait on a loooong slow line. They want to weigh our bags. Why? They are all small carry-ons. We’ve all done this a thousand times. Nope - Norwegein weighs your TOTAL carry on and it all has to be less than 10kg. 10 kilograms! So, one by one, EVERY passenger is instantly angry and gets hit with a $65 fee per bag and all carry ons get checked. Stress and now we will be late upon our arrival as we didn’t anticipate checked luggage. After having your luggage weighed and deemed too heavy, you have to go wait on the “payment line” to pay your $65 fee. This is a joy - everyone is pissed. The staff is smirking and repeating, “don’t stress” over and over. After you pay your fee, you have to get BACK ON LINE to show the bag guy that you paid and then he put your bag on the conveyer. only, your bag is in a pile of all the other bag behind the counter. So he holds up each bag and says, “this one?” Farking nuts. Then you go and get BACK ON LINE to go through security. Then the gate....that’s a whole other debacle. 250 people crowded around the gate person. Literally hell. LOOK AT THE OTHER AIRLINES AROUND YOU. COPY THEM. Oh, no food or drinks on the plane unless you know the secret handshake. We realized this when the food cart and drink cart each passed us by. Mind you, this was t just our group. Every passenger around us has the same stress filled confused experience and we all spoke about it. Never, ever again. Pay the extra $100 and fly a proper airline."

The flight attendants were walking around with a piece of paper with the seats that had preordered food handwritten on them. It took forever to get our food. We didn't get it until about 3 hours after take off (which was 10:30pm at the origin). It was completely disorganized and made no sense. Based on this alone, I have no plans on flying Norweigan again except for my return flight back home."

I waited in line for 3 hours trying to talk to a representative about rebooking my flight and getting a hotel, but after a while they said they couldn't book hotels anymore and we would have to do it ourselves. After three hours of waiting in a line that barely moved I decided to give up and went to my hotel which I had to book myself and booked a flight for the next morning with a different airline."

Even when they finally boarded, there was no recognition of the flight being late and no apology. One we were on board, the cabin crew then made a rather abrupt and rude announcement telling the passengers to board quickly otherwise we would lose our slot time and be delayed by a further one hour. Fortunately that additional delay did not happen. However, I did not appreciate the passengers being berated for "slow" boarding when the flight was boarded 20-30 minutes late."

Pros: "I make long distance overnight flights about 8 times a year, and this flight on Norwegian was the best flight I've had in years. Plenty of legroom, the seats don't feel crowded together, and my backpack was the only bag in the overhead storage. The chicken and rice was piping hot and had more chicken than I could eat. There are lots of flight attendants so you never feel neglected and they are all friendly."

Pros: "For not a lot more money than Economy, Norwegian offers a Premium seat class that has ample width and legroom for an overseas flight. Friendly staff served us two meals with complimentary wine. The food is so-so but it's so rare to get actual food these days that I was ecstatic! Real, warm blankets too. Definitely will fly again."

This is a HUGE disservice to those who have allergies! Because of this...I will no longer fly with Norwegian!"

We only needed to bring two small bags, for two passengers, which would have easily fit in the overhead compartments. a £200+ savings would have been far better, in addition I wasted a considerable amount of time attempting to reach the airline in an effort to confirm exactly what was included in our purchase. Extremely poor communication from Kayak; not happy!"

I had a window seat but it was impossible for me to get by the other seats because there was no space for egress. Also, air ducts overhead were furry from neglect--they hadn't been cleaned in a while and had a not of dirty dust around them."

Pros: "Loved everything about my flight. It left and arrived on time, crew were very polite, food selection looked great( I didn't purchase anything), and my check in & arrival process was smooth."

Pros: "So the rumors were true. Poor customer service. Lengthy delay and the chaotic boarding. Appalling."

Pros: "The flight was two full hours late leaving. We missed our connection after already having missed another. I understand half an hour our even 45 minutes but 2 full hours? That's not ok."
Cons: "The space between seats for an international flight was unforgivable. I felt insanely claustrophobic. I couldn't take it. The food was ok but not everyone even got it? This was a bare bones flight on niceish airplane."

Pros: "Very efficient and we'll run airline. Updated cabin with convenient power plugs for laptops and iPads. Great air circulation for comfort and reduced jet lag. Generally a lot of bang for the buck."
Cons: "Very unatentive crew. Either understaffed or untrained in the art of customer service, or both. Repeatedly asked for water and finally had to go to the rear of the cabin to get it myself. Food was below average even for airplane "cuisine." That being said, the airline gives you a lot for not a lot. Next time I will bring my own water. And I would fly with them again."

Pros: "I liked everything about this dreamliner. The attendants were very nice and the plane was more comfortable than most. All in all, excellent experience and would take this airline again."

Pros: "Easy bording. They allowed me to pick my seat before boarding at the airport. The crew was nice. Like their outfits. Flight was comfortable."
Cons: "You have to pay for everything... the blackets...the earphones...the food...the drinks... and there were limited times when you had to pay. So if you feel asleep and missed the window... youre out of luck."
