When we made it to the airport again after limited sleep, that flight also got cancelled. We bought a ticket with LATAM which was a breeze. Throughout the following week, we tried calling them numerous times to have them tell us we had to loose yet more time by having to go to their Cusco office... but they couldn't resolve the issue either. We had to escalate this over the phone from their office so they would issue us a flight back to Lima at no charge to us. Now, I can only hope that they will honor this ticket but I'm not expecting much."

Cons: "Tried to cancel flight significantly ahead of time due to change in my military duties and was offered $0 because all of the fees and charges far exceeded the cost of the tickets. Very unhappy with United."

Cons: "Boarding procedures seem to make no sense. I don't understand why airlines stopped boarding from back to front. I can't see how this "zone" makes it any faster. Entertainment was not free. I get having paid movies, but there should be some free options."

Cons: "Everything is an additional cost! Food, tv, beverages and that is not how it is anywhere else unless you are on a budget airline or flight which this was not."
Cons: "It was an older plane and was not as comfortable. I found the staff on my side especially to be unprofessional and curt in their responses. One lady was chewing gum the second half of the trip. I also found their drink cart was not stocked properly and they would have to ask across the isle during all three drink services as opposed to prepping their cart."
Cons: "There were 2 ladies speaking Romanian. Being native Romanian speaker, I understood them and the way they talked to each other did not seem professional. Also I heard someone from the crew asking rude questions to some guy such as "- Do you have a gun in your bag right now?" (Heck, that guy was in transit, and he already passed 1 or more security check points before getting to that gate. And even if he has a gun, he would say NO, and your job is not to trust his words, but to check his bag instead...)."
Cons: "United is a poor carrier, there's nothing more to say. I struggled with my check in (I had just had a spine procedure done 48 hrs prior).... and by the time I got help from an agent it was 7:03 am, so... They wouldn't give me a boarding pass for my 8 am flight. Add to that an extremely rude ticket agent who couldn't care less about helping me, and almost seemed to enjoy my predicament, and that sums up my experience with this airline. I will never fly with them again, that's for sure; there's so many other airlines that actually care about their customers, this is not one of them."
Cons: "Very difficult to get to EWR from Brooklyn and the departure was changed 6 times that afternoon."
