They let us wait two hours for luggage before telling us it wasn't going to make it in. Frustrated and disappointed! Ground security in Turkey was rude and took my sons skate board which we had flown to Israel with and back to turkey, then they told us it couldn't come with us to miami although we flew Turkish both directions with no problem. In the end gate staff went and rescued his skate board from security as he got to the flight crying his little eyes out. Communication was terrible and staff was rude!"

To clarify, my experience through Kayak has been fine! However this whole ordeal has left a very sour taste in my mouth...i still dont have my luggage. Cons: "My first flight was changed. Only one email was send about that change. It got lost in some other emails so I didn't see it. But I did not receive any other update or reminder. So I had figure out how to change all of my flights from there to Kansas in the States. All with bad internet service and unhelpful costomer service. And having to deal with two unexpected long layovers. All that to say, sending periodic emails is important especially if the flight had been changed."

I understand that I did not shell out the class to fly business class, but it's not okay to not feed a pregnant woman. Additionally, when I was flying form you were not allowed t bring water onto the plane. The flight attendants only provided me one small water bottle an two small cups of water. I asked for more but they said no :( I will never fly United again"

Cons: "I had about an hour layover in which I had time to use the restroom and buy lunch. I did these things, then went to wait at the assigned gate. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to me, they changed the departing gate for my connecting flight. The concourse area is so crowded and noisy, and announcements are only heard in the immediate gate are, that, though I was sitting only one gate over, I did not hear the boarding calls and missed my flight. I sat in Newark airport for six hours (which included a maintenance problem, gate change and 1 more hour delay) until the departure of the next flight to Burlington."

Cons: "Again, United changed my original departure time from Burlington, VT to San Diego (via Chicago) from 10 am to 6:30 am. This meant an overnight stay in Burlington and loss of sleep and my free breakfast. In addition, I was stuck with 4+ hr layover in Chicago. The Chicago terminal was a mass of swarming people. Horrible!"

Breakfast so bad even the smell of it polluted the cabin for the remainder of the flight. Just a cold ham or turkey and cheese sandwich would have been preferable. Attention from flight attendants was haphazard at best. Chose this flight because of good flight times but in future will avoid United if at all possible."

This means that after passing security and customs, after buying an overpriced cup of latte, you are told to spill it or else. And that's in a country that lives on security. Unacceptable. Unjustified and unheard of."

No WiFi is disappointing for a 12+ hr flight."

Cons: "For obvious reasons security is tight. However, they do not warn you sufficiently about the screening and security process. It took 2 hours alone to get through security and it was a light crowd. I can only imagine if it was packed or during major EU or Israeli holiday. They try to move people fast but security folks are all very young so they require a lot of supervision and need oversight so they stop and go for questions with trained team members."

The tv wasn't working and I asked five people to fix it after asking so many people and there could fix it they eventually gave me an Ipad which was halfway through the flight. I tried to watch a movie but couldn't finish because they took it away so quickly. I was in such a rush to get out of the plane I forgot a bottle of vadka I had bought in duty free."

El Al has a lot of growing up to do. I've flown all over the world with multiple carriers. This was by far the worst. They're profoundly more expensive than other carriers to Tel Aviv. They could do a lot better than this!"

On our next El Al flight to Prague we were charged $80. The total weight of our 2 bags is less than 50 pounds. I notice many passengers whose carry on bags were much larger than ours, seemingly contrary to El Al rules. Not fair."

Also, the screen was not in the seat but above and the earphones sounded really bad (It's the 21st century, people, try to keep up with technology and UX). 2. Food - I did not had a chance to order vegan and there was no vegan meal on board. It pissed me off since the online boarding had no such option to select from and I did not receive any option from Kayak either. 3. Boarding - We went to gate D5 and could not find anyone. We had to run to gate C9 because our names were called out. They expected us to hear the message from the 100 messages. Why not send an SMS?!"

The movies/shows El Al chose for the different channels weren't horrible, but nothing compared to the choices most airlines give nowadays, and more importantly, with El Al it's not possible to control the timing of the movies, nor choose from a library, and that's much, much worse."
