To go to Australia, Denver TSA waived the removal of shoes, skipped the scan for the metal detector and no one touched me, ditto for LAX on the trip to Sydney. Where's the uniformity or standards for TSA?? Why did I have to be subjected to this garbage on the way home?? This is why I despise flying. It makes no sense to me. This ruined what was a great vacation."

Cons: "Boeing 767-400ER seats had no leg room for 6'+ traveller like me. The entertainment system was so old that there were no 115v outlets or USB ports. On a 7-hour flight, that is a significant problem for travellers today with multiple electronic devices. Finally, we were not told in advance that we had to go through security twice and through US Customs BEFORE leaving Dublin. So, the 6-hour layover at JFK was a complete waste of our time as we did not have to go through Customs there."

I’m 5’1” and 110 lbs but adding my 25lb daughter siting in my lap before she turns 2 is absurd to expect that it will be comfortable whatsoever for us or the people breathing next to us. Please DELTA, lead by example and make sure your planes are designed with more room in between and around the seats. In my opinion, every seat should be first class."

Oh! And our bag was misrouted, because that was just how things went those 2 days. All in all a 6 hour trip turned into 18 hours. I could have driven home in that amount of time!"

Truthfully, it was almost like I was back with Southwest. She was kind, calm, polite, efficient, and capable. Very rare in my experience with American Airlines yesterday. Interacting with her was refreshing."
Cons: "Getting home to Colorado Springs at 11:30 PM, taxiing for 15-20 minutes, and then waiting another 20-30 for checked luggage! Never have I waited that long during and after a Southwest flight! AA could truly learn something from their more modest counterpart. I have all but decided to resume my drives to Denver every other week rather than risk more and more time and poor experiences with AA flying in-and-out of Colorado Springs."

Got to D.C. and asked to switch to go into Westchester instead of LGA which we were denied. So changed to another connecting flight to LGA that didn't take off on time. Offered nothing for any of the inconveniences. Etc."

Or use the existing and publicly available research to improve boarding mechanisms... but that would mean you lose an opportunity to squeeze extra cash out of people for 'priority boarding'. Which resulted in me being called to the desk at the gate about 30 minutes prior to boarding and being told I screwed up checking my bag when I was just following the instructions given to me. Was then told I had to leave the secure area of the airport, go back to the front to check my bag all within 30 minutes of boarding. when I returned thru the TSA checkpoint they were rude, obviously, but more importantly the flight was boarding early. So you could've 1. told me what the actual procedure is for checking my bag instead of telling me "just leave it by the green lit up check mark then 2. told me at the gate that not only do i need to go fix your mistakes for you but that youd also board my flight early thereby putting me in jeopardy of missing my flight. all i got was a very insincere apology when I complained up front and at the gate about the airline's screw up. i get that you're all human like me and make mistakes but the customer is always right. there was a time in this country when customer appreciation and service were important standards and qualities businesses thrived on. Don't know what happened to those days... Also i should not need to be a first class passenger to get a meal during a flight. whatever happened to meals for everyone? you (all airlines in the US) charge way too much money and provide poor service compared to pre-9-11 days. I dont see how one event can justify the loss in service but the increase in ticket price. you should all get back to what flying should be about: fun and time saving."

I can understand for extra legroom or exit row, but for a regular seat, that is ridiculous. Then there was a fee to change priority boarding, so I could ensure I was able to have my carry-on with me, instead of risk having it go underneath. Unable to use the entertainment, as I was unaware had to use my own device, which I had not set up in advance."

Cons: "I called American Airlines as ssoon as I book my trip to set up and make sure my small dog could fly with me. They neglected to inform me their partner, jetstar, does not fly animals. My luggage did not arrive with me. Both of my suitcases were mangled and broken. Items in my suitcases were shattered and crushed even though they were well packed and protected. We got stuck on the terminal in MSP and missed our connecting flight. When we finally arrived the systems were down and could not get new flights or hotels. We were told we could not get hotels and had to argue for an hour. Even though it was a maintenance issue. I arrived a day late and had to take extra leave. The plane from LAX to Tokyo was horrific. I booked a window seat, was stuck in the very middle. There was no way to charge outlets devices. The screen did not work. And my new luggage was also damaged with even more items destroyed."

One lady said to put our luggage in the first available compartment, then when we tried, another lady rudely said, if that's not where you're sitting, you can't put your bag there. We were embarrassed and when we tried to explain what we'd been told she told us to keep moving."

For me that's a great thing (I bring my own), so None gets the 5-star rating for my purposes. Uneventful flights--on time even with a short delay taking off out of MSP."

Again, I felt duped! I will not be choosing Frontier again in the future unless these things change. And, oh my gosh, sitting within 3 rows of the lavatory was extremely uncomfortable to the nose the entire flight! Surely there are better ways of de-odorizing!"

Cons: "I hated the fees to choose a seat. What in God's name did I purchase?? Didn't I purchase a SEAT ON A PLANE??? Why the extra charge??? I was given a seat assignment right online when I checked the NO box for a paying seat. The seats were very uncomfortable. They turned off the lights and my spotlight did not work so I had to sit in the dark ( this was a red eye flight) the entire flight. The airplane was noisy. The flight was very turbulent. The nonexistent tray was very greasy and dirty. They charge for carry on bags. They charge for soda. I will not be using Frontier Airlines."

Our bag check process went smoothly and the staff was very courteous. Everything went smoothly for boarding and my husband, my son and I all sat together in the same row. When I called Customer services, i was told that there is nothing that They could for me because they are not at the Airport with. I asked if they could put me in another flight and they refused saying that I have to buy another ticket. What I do not get is why Spirit is still in business? Someone warned me about them, but I thought that maybe it was that one time, but I was disappointed big time. My sister lost a baggage with spirit 2 years ago and they never helped. Spirits have lost me as Customer and I am sure that I will not be the only one. They make their tickets cheaper to lure people into buying them, then they still their money without even thinking about humanity. I had to buy another ticket and I am flying tomorrow. Worse company ever. They do not deserve to be working with people. People should never trust Spirits, it is beyond the worse."

On my return flight I sat next to someone who for sure was on some sort of methamphetamine or heavy upper and could not sit still for a moment. or stop scratching herself. There is no phone line at all that gets you to a human to speak to... at all! So asking for specific flight details was impossible. To get a bottle of water on a 5.5 hour flight was $3 which is inappropriate. The seats do not recline and are small. If you do not pay for you carry on a head of time they will charge you $100 which is basically robbery. I will never fly spirit ever again."

I am aware that the airline needs to make money or it will not stay in business however I think the cost to ck a bag, if it was reasonable, would speed up things so everyone wouldn't try dragging everything they have onto the airplane to stow in the overhead with everyone else waiting on them. When I went to print the boarding pass, I got charged again - apparently it did not go through the night before for some reason although I was never alerted. So I was charged more now for paying at the airport vs. night before. Not to mention, two charges showed on my account."
