Cons: ANZ changed the flight time to 3 hours EARLIER, and they sent NO notification of the change. Missed the flight, and there were no ANZ staff to help, so had to buy a new ticket ( to the tune of $1700.)

Cons: Kayak to Virgin Australia to Air NZ - we had a long layover and surprised by 0 bag check in and very expensive charge, When asking for help all told to go to the other : for earlier flight - huge charges - no help : bags - no help and we paid onerous amounts. All bad and with lots of frustration trying to get help.

Pros: Reliable service. Flew Air NZ twice without any hiccups. Boards on time, leaves on time. Get a biscuit (cookie), drink, and sweet. Had room on both flights also. Not packed to the gills and enjoyed the aerial view of the lovely NZ countryside.

Cons: Missed the flight because of a very late connection. Air New Zealand and Virgin Australia kept handing me off to each other since it was booked as virgin Australia but on an air New Zealand flight. Neither wanted to help at first. Finally virgin Australia ticket agent took pity and helped me rebook for the next day. This was after I was told by air New Zealand that I had to call the booking number for virgin Australia. I’m traveling from the US and didn’t have a cell phone that worked in Australia... which I explained and asked how I could call the number without a phone. Was promptly told to go over to Virgin Australia ticket counter where I made the one remaining agent who was closing the desks help me. However the airport lost my luggage and could not find where it was. I ended up spending three hours in the airport and still no luggage with the baggage company saying they have no record of it anywhere. Very frustrating trip.

Pros: I had always had a pleasant time with this airline but this 2nd longer flight wasn't it's best! I still have good opinions about this airline and plan on using it in the future.
Cons: My neighbor in a 4 seat section kept elbowing me. Seats seemed to be too close to each other and for people who aren't average weight it is hard for them to stay within their given space. Eating meals was difficult because some people use their elbows all over the place.

Cons: Having to pick up our bags and going through customs was horrible and stressful. Bags coming off the flight last made the customs line very long, after going through customs couldn't find where to check our bags on to Queenstown, finally found the the automatic check-in, too late only one person to help. So late had to walk to the domestic terimal, in a hurry. Finally found the check-in, checked all 3 bags, arrived in Queenstown, only two came in.

Pros: I have not flown international in a long time. It was confortable and entertainment was great. The only thing I did not like is that with New Zealand air one can only check in 1 bag for free. We stayed in NZ for 18 days. The other airlines let you check in 2 bags. For an international flight 2 bags is only fair. Thanks.

Pros: Unlike a trip on Air New Zealand several years ago, there is actually enough leg room now so knees don't push into the seat in front. That is a huge improvement! The airplane we flew in this trip was a nice new one, very well designed.

Cons: 30 passengers on a 60 seat plane. We should have been spaced out due to the Coronavirus, but NO. We reallocated seats which had us all jammed up the front and back with rows of empty seats in between. Not good enough Qantas! Cons: My family of 4 were not seated together even though all four tickets were purchased together in the same booking. After booking through KAYAK for flights, the on-line check-in process was a nightmare with the KAYAK booking number not matching the information required by QANTAS. As my children were all spread over the plane, and two son's look very similar, a hostess almost did not serve one of my son's a meal as she believed my son had already received a meal further forward in the plane. Thankfully, upon checking, the hostess realised that it was a case of mistaken identity.

Pros: The Singapore Qantas lounge is well set up, despite one or two small issues. Boarding was easy after the usual Singapore gate lounge procedures. On board the crew (led by Brigita) could not have been better. I LOVE the 1 -2 - 1 business configuration. Meals and refreshments on board were just great and I enjoyed that the crew didn't disturb me (Emirates are particularly rude in this regard) when it was clear I was sleeping until descent.
Cons: Qantas, being an Australian airline, I am clueless as to why, in the airline lounge: Australian Sauvignon Blancs are not available (NZ phewee!) Bundaberg Rum (Ozzie icon) is not available. For a major hub, it is also not clear why a separate business lounge doesn't operate.

Cons: We booked basic seats knowing we might not sit together however we did not know they would separate children. They put my husband and I in an exit row and my daughter at the back of the plane with strangers. I was not comfortable with strangers being responsible for my child. I assumed they would seat children with at least one parent. We did ask to move at the gate and the accommodated us with the last row on the plane. No recline, no window, and right next to the bathrooms. We took it to be with our kid but this policy needs to be revised. Kids should always be seated with the adult responsible for them... who knows what kind of person might end up next to my child. Not to mention if she had needed something is the stranger gonna take care of it? It’s just a bad practice imo.

Pros: On this short flight, the flight attendant was wonderful, accommodating special requests and being fully engaged with passengers. On time departure, early arrival, overall a nice quick flight to Duluth.
Cons: CRJ200 planes are always a bit cramped, and having to gate check anything bigger than a small purse is an inconvenience. Hopefully the fleet will change over to the Embrair planes soon. Beware 'Basic' flyers (cheap tickets): you are not eligible to take an earlier flight even if available.

Cons: Poor communication, a 6 hour delay followed by a 7 hour layover (during which we had to sleep on an airport floor because Delta couldn't offer us any hotel vouchers). Gate agents disappeared after 7pm becuase they were due to be done with their shifts when our flight was originally supposed to leave at 6 pm. It felt like we were trapped in the movie The Terminal. Oh! And our bag was misrouted, because that was just how things went those 2 days. All in all a 6 hour trip turned into 18 hours. I could have driven home in that amount of time!

Pros: My original flight from MSP to Grand Forks had the nicest pilot that went above and beyond his duties on and off aircraft.
Cons: Switched planes 3 times, Gates 4 times and little communication on what to expect now, and moving forward. Ended up delayed on jetway 90 minutes before returning to gate to be switched on and off planes for 4 hours Also Delta broke my suitcase in 4 spots I will be contacting delta about this horrible experience!!!

Pros: The gate agent and cabin crew handled passenger's misery with friendly grace and professionalism. Also, it was an old plane and so the seats, even in coach, were comfortable.
Cons: Plane was around 45 minutes late in arriving at our Minneapolis gate. Flight was further delayed by something (unspecified) being "frozen." WORST part was that the temperature in the seating area at the gate was horribly cold. Departing passengers at a neighboring gate were bound for Fargo and sat with their parkas on and with parka hoods up. We Houston-bound had packed our coats & boots and were shivering. Then when we finally boarded the crew announced that the plane's water system was broken and so we would have no hot coffee or hot tea or hot anything. No water, also and obviously, in the restroom sink. But sani-wipes were provided in the sink basin.
