It then took me nearly 2 hours to get through security. I asked if I could get through quicker and was told I could not, despite it being passed my boarding time. I then ran to my gate where I waited for another 10 mins (no one was there, again) and then an employee came out and said they couldn’t let anyone board once the door was shut. He then directed me to the delta help desk (there was at least 20 people behind me who missed their flight). I then had to pay an additional $75 to get a later flight. The whole experience was awful and I’m disappointed with Kayak and the gate confusion, but mostly Delta and the lack of customer service."

The blanket was hardly a blanket and more like a towel. We then luckily could switch seats as there were 2 vacant. But, the air conditioner was leaking water in the seat to our left. The crew was callous and just stuck the passenger with some napkins saying it does that. I don't fly Delta a lot and my experience in this trip isn't inspiring much confidence."

If I would have known that beforehand, I would not have purchased my ticket through AA.com. During my original online booking, the screen said JAL service from NRT to DFW. Just about everything was bad about my American Airlines flight. I travel to and from America several times a year from Asia. Each time I travel, I swear I will never fly an American based airline for the trans-Pacific portion of my flight. My latest experience with American Airlines only reinforces that resolution. The in-cabin crew is (and I'm being nice) pathetic! They are veteran flight attendants and they look and act like they could care less about the customers on the flight. Frankly, I'm just downright disgusted with the service and personalities of the American crew's attitude. They act like they are old and tired, uninterested in quality service, and that we (the passengers) are an imposition upon their life. For example, mid-flight, I walk to the back of the airplane for something to drink, instead of assisting me they point to a "station" at the Emergency Exit door stocked with random drinks and snacks. While they are chit-chatting, looking at their smartphones and reading newspapers, books, and Kindle-type devices. That has never happened on an Asian-based airline flight. Another example, in-flight food service, the cabin crew members are waking people up to serve food and, instead of being gentle and cordial, they are rude and impatient. My 2 row mates were both Asian, and because of being awakened and the ambient noise in the aircraft, they could not hear what the flight attendant was asking. So, with a tone of impatience and disrespect, the flight attendant virtually shouted at them their choices for the meal. Whatever happened to the "customer is always right" or the "customer is king"? My renewed resolution: I will no longer fly American-based (because Delta is even worse) airlines to and from Asia. If needed, I will pay the higher fees and fares to fly anyone of a number of Asian-based carriers. It is worth it for the 24 hours it takes me to cross the Pacific. I am sick and tired of the begrudged and entitled attitude of the archaic cabin crews of American-based airlines."

Cons: "Unappetizing food choices (pasta with cream sauce or beef with sweet sauce), and food poorly prepared (I picked the beef, it made me queasy). Plane was old and unrenovated - there was no entertainment, but you could still see where the old air phones used to be in the seat acts. Boarding was confusing, even for seasoned flyers, with multiple groups using one line."
Cons: "It was delayed 2 hours with no explanation. The airport workers weren't even informed. So we had to sit in the airport until 1 am. Not fun with 3 kids and no food options available."

United then sent my luggage to south bend after I spoke with 3 United customer care agents and luggage agents and I wanted almost 2 hrs for my luggage. I paid 1200 for my ticket to get to my grandpas funeral and everything went wrong that possibly could"

An incredibly old and outdated aircraft for a 15 hour flight it's unacceptable for the price that was charged for the ticket. On my way back from Hong Kong my seat located at 54A had the headphone connector not working, leaving me with no audio whatsoever other than "I'm sorry" by the flight attendent. Really?? Anyways, had really bad and disappointing experience with United on these treat. Would NOT recommend to anybody. Time to update your equipment UNITED or look for competition."

I have carried this suitcase on on every airline for over 10 years....the size got smaller and United got $25.00....not happy. There was NO free movies, no access to TV, flight pattern....nothing and it could not be turned off. ONE cookie for a coast-to-coast flight. What happened to United?"
Pros: "The seats and the availabilty of tv if you want to pay. I also really apprciated the email updates from kayak with flight information and gate changes. I also liked being able to choose my seat on my phone."
Cons: "The asian mix with wasabi peas as a snack- gross!!! Gimmie pretzles, oyster crackers, goldfish, anything but that asian mix. What happened to peanuts?! I also didnt appriciate that i checked in on my phone almost as soon as i was able to and i was in the very last boarding group which left me subjuct to having to check my bags because the people before me took all the space....so i didnt really see any benefit to checking in asap on my phone...i was left with a somewhat bad taste in my mouth boarding as a united attendant said my bag was too big and had to be checked after already flying on two small planes with no problem. she insisted and i refused and there was plenty of space left, luckily i did not have to check my bag....on another note (and i know this is all the airline not sure if you care to hear it) i dont want to hear about space problems when i watch the pilots and flight attendants board with 2 or more bags and i see then in the storage spaces above the seats saying"do not move". Im the one paying for this flight. You all are working and or flying for free and should not get priority space for baggage. You check YOUR bags and see what thats like! Overall good experience though thanks for asking ;)"
Pros: "My first flight was cancelled and it appeared i wouldn't make it to my destination on the day which I intended. A Delta/united employee at the Eugene Airport (Collette) quickly and kindly moved some things around and got me a flight out only an hour later, upgraded me to comfort select seating, and some how managed to get me to my final destination (2 flights ) only an hour after I originally booked for. She did all this with a smile on her face while a worried guest (me) wasn't sure what he was going to do if it weren't for her impeccable service. Thanks Collete and United!"

I like that I could get extra leg room for a reasonable price. Check in at Denver was crazy but a worker came and told me there was no line at curb-side, so that made it super quick. Still a good airline, with good prices."

It's hard to swallow, but then again, it's better than everyone avoiding the checked luggage fee, and fighting for over-head bin space. A better solution would be to charge a lot less for checked luggage - maybe $15 or $20 each way instead of $30. And, what?...no free drinks, not even coffee or soda? Give me a break dude!"
Cons: "Flight was delayed 3 hours, then we boarded the plane at 1:46AM. Only to have the flight cancelled. After 45min on the plane we had to get off and wait until 3:45AM to find out what the next step was (rescheduled for 11:30AM). Overall the communication and transparency around this ordeal was handled terribly. Staff had no plan to deal with situation, provided helpline numbers were useless, email/text communication of the rescheduling was nonexistent All of this is not even getting into the cheap service and setup of the flight itself. Will not be flying frontier again"
