Took one in a trip to Male and was blown away. AC seems like a discount carrier compared to them. And Etihad was always on time! If using Indigo, try to carry less cabin luggage or else try boarding ahead of your Zone call - else you may struggle to find space. Don't rely on flight food at Indigo. Visata is much better. As of now, Indigo is lesser evil - till Vistara and Air India get together and hopefully do some magic.

Have plenty of patience for the casual travelers! They are oblivious of rules and etiquettes that slows down the process for everyone. Case in point, a guy held up the line trying to place both his personal item (should be UNDER the seat in front of you) and his carry on case horizontally. Obviously not aware of the big poster right in front of his displaying the proper way of placing his case on it's side. Slowed the whole line of people behind him. Also be mindful the agents in Ontario airport (or any smaller airports) might not be the most knowledgeable on the rules and regulations of air travel, luggage specification allowances etc. Stay patient!! Also the seats do not recline that well anymore on AA flights. So if you have back problems, be sure to bring some back supports.

The "pay to pick your seat" policy stinks. It's even worse than "pay to pick a seat you'd want to sit in" that airlines have been doing for a while. There is no cohesive policy for how one *gets* a seat assignment- at LAX my boarding pass had a seat assignment; in Portland, the ticketing agent told me the gate agent "had" to do it, but the gate agent said it had been assigned the whole time even though my boarding pass had a blank space where the seat assignment should have been.

Madrid airport is one of the most difficult airports I have ever visited. An absolute nightmare for new travelers to this airport. Please give assistance to the people connecting flights and remember that this T4 and T4S is confusing and there is only ONE information desk hidden among the food court and no one to ask. If you think you’ll be hungry, bring food on board or eat before boarding. Don’t pay extra for a premium seat unless you want to sit toward the front of the plane. The seats are not different from one section to another. The bathroom smelled and was tight.

Don’t expect to ever be on time to your destination. The Montreal-Toronto-Montreal route is AIr Canada’s highest volume route and they are almost never on time. In my experience (20 flight segments in the last 12 months) less than 20% have been on time.

Air Transat and Lufthansa seem to have the best onboard experience. Air Canada was good, too. Azores Airlines and Sunwing are to be avoided at all costs. The former lost half the plane's luggage and the latter couldn't be on time to save its life.

Check with the airline and validate that all of the advertised benefits are indeed available. Paying higher price for the Economy Plus tickets may not be worth it for you as a number of advertised benefits are not available, definitely not in Boston

Took over an hour from city center to Ezeiza International Airport (Buenos Aires) during rush hour. Plan accordingly. Latam required paper boarding passes. so make extra time to check in and get them at the desk or kiosk.

Istanbul airport is huge with lots of duty free and shopping options. Limited food choice. And if you are on budget, pack your food in advance as everything is si darn expensive. They primarily take Euro .

YYZ air Canada security messed up which led to my kids missing their flight and having to go on a separate flight later in the day without the rest of the family. Customer service was horrible and have no sense of urgency or compassion for their customers. They refuse to compensate for their errors and making my kids wait hours in the airport. This isn’t the first time we have had issues with this airline and I won’t be flying with them again.

United did not permit online check-in from home as document scans were not getting uploaded. This should be fixed their app

Cancelled flight had to fight for a hotel voucher and lost my upgrade. Not great business.

I flew twice this vacation with air canada and I don't know if I would ever book again with them, the flight attendants were very nice and apologetic but the delays were horrible first flight was 7hrs late and the second was 1hr late

Ok, a very small soda in a small glass was all that was served. Pitiful. Comfort seat was not, no legroom at all would not recommend comfort class, not worth the extra.
