Also, my wife identified herself to Lufthansa that she has celiac's disease, yet when the food cart came by, she was informed that all she could purchase that was gluten free was nuts. We found out later that there was a fruit and cheese plate available. Also, it seems that there were few items available from the on board menu. Why bother even having a menu if many of the items were not available? Air Canada should be ashamed!"

Cons: "The staff were not friendly. I politely tried to give two flight attendants my garbage as they were collecting and because they already passed me they looked at me and ignored me. It’s also crazy that you pay so much for a flight and then have to pay for luggage and a meal when it’s a 4-5 hour flight. Flight was delayed twice. Which I can understand due to weather."
Cons: "This leg was so late...I was waiting in Calgary almost 7 hours... they put me on a different flight so I would make my connector in Toronto to Windsor....I originally had a 2 hour window. The second plane was so late, by the time I landed in Toronto, I had 10 minutes. Needless to say, after starting out in Kamloops at 6 am, that was missed also. Last leg missed as well, and had to wait another 4 hours for the last flight out. Just an incredibly frustrating trip"

I discovered my flight was cancelled when I randomly walked past the departures board on the way to the bathroom--no announcement was made at the gate. There was no one at the gate. I waited for 30+ minutes on hold on the phone, while waiting in an unmoving line at the terminal's single customer service desk, before being booked on a new flight."

Cons: "Flight was 45 min late leaving & I only had 1 hr between the next flights. Because Winnipeg is a small airport, I just made the next connection but no time to go to the restroom."
Cons: "The crew waited so long to start selling food. Then, by the time the cart got to where I was sitting (only halfway back) they were already sold out of the two things I wanted to buy. The tea they served was the dregs from the bottom of the kettle, nasty and bitter. There was no "entertainment," except a crew member renting out a couple of ipads that connected to the wifi. The luggage compartments are oddly shaped so that you can only put your luggage in the long way. It a misuse of space. A lot of people had a hard time finding any place to put their bags. During takeoff, one of the luggage compartments opened up twice."
Pros: "It was a very short flight, but with all the weather issues in Seattle at the time, they did everything they could to get us off on time (maybe even early) to avoid air traffic control delays."
Pros: "I really like how friendly the flight staff was. The women and men were always smiling and courteous! They loaded the plane quickly and easily all while being helpful and smiling. On my flight from Moncton to Montreal I needed several vomit bags just in case some of my cousins wedding drinks wanted to come up. The stewardess quickly grabbed several for me and was very kind. Luckily nothing came up and I felt great at the end of the flight!"
Cons: "I don't fly as often as used to, but I've noticed that flight services have definitely gone down hill. Flying Air Canada was refreshing, so I don't have anything negative to say except I really wish I'd won tickets for my family and I back to Canada on Air Canada, hahaha!"

Pros: "The cabin attendents were excellent. They were courteous, patient, friendly, helpful, professional. When we were waiting for take off for two hours, they did everything they could to make the situation less awful. I would travel Air Canada again just because of the cabin attendants."

There should have been an announcement to come to the Air Canada desk. There wasn't. When I got to Charlotte, there was No One at the Air Canada desk to report my lost bag. Thank goodness those from United were able to provide me with a phone number to call. The phone attendant was not a native English speaker and made it incredibly difficult to file a claim. I'm still waiting for my bag."

This occured due to the Airport being Unorganized! As I had checked in well before 3 hours and was on time for my original flight at 8:30 am."

What I hated is that when I arrived at my original gate A7 the gentleman who boarded my original flight was unprofessional, rude, basically ignored me and said "You missed your flight !" Not even taking the time to listen to my situation or guide me in my next steps of acquiring a new flight to go to my classes and home in Toronto!"
