Also liked that the plane's arrival at Schiphol was only 30 minutes later than initial ETA after long delay at Seatac. Also liked the many snacks."

Pros: "Hartsfield rental car train broke so it made me miss my original flight to DCA. Delta ticket agents rebooked me w/no problem and could not have been nicer or more professional. Thank you Delta, you are my hero! Hartsfield Airport, not so much."

Pros: "I could have flown United direct for about the same price - but chose to fly Delta via Atlanta because, well, it's DELTA. Delta's first class is really first class - it's more than just a bigger seat .... the staff from the counter to the cabin crew all treat you like you're a valued first class customer. The experience of flying today is mostly like being shoved into a subway train in Japan with no genuine gratitude for my patronage. Not with Delta - they really do go above and beyond and it is not lost on me."

The gate attendants were super rude and lazy when they came back up the ramp. I think the walk really took it out of them. There were 10 people who had run from delayed flights just standing there thinking wtf."

Cons: "Both the to and return flights, I was never able to get their entertainment to work on my iPhone. The website fails to load in the browser even though I’m on their in flight WiFi and following instructions specifically"

Pros: "The trip started off poorly with a day delay and rebooking hotel and car at final destination. Not to mention our final destination is San Antonio not Phoenix. We were not rebooked for a flight from PHX to SAT. But after a few hours we were finally booked. We didn’t really appreciate the 7 hour layover at 0100 in the morning and nowhere to get a meal or even coffee. However, the flight had the same crew from the night prior and they were excellent. The flight was open so we were able to get more leg room, less waiting time for the bathroom, and pretty much one on one service from our flight attendants. With all the struggle in the beginning, this particular flight was actually the best flight I have been on."
Cons: "We were ok with the hotel and meal vouchers however, again, the only part of our itinerary looked at was the first flight, not the second into SAT. Had we not questioned the agent, we would have been stuck in PHX with no room, no car, and if we eventually would have gotten a flight, our reservations for car and hotel in SAT would have been cancelled and I would have been out $1700. I already lost money but it could have been worse. Basically, I am paying for a car and room that I am not currently in. Reimbursement for that would have been nice. Either way we will still travel using the travel service and this particular airline in the future."

My sister and I were travelling together. She lives in Virginia and needs to get back to work. The website is not helpful. The phone is problematic. Earlier today your system was down and your agent told me to call back. Now no one picks up the phone. I have been on hold for 15 minutes. This was British airways."

Cons: "Obnoxious amount of confusion at gate. Employees continuously announced and posted conflicting departure times. Was shocked by lack of assistance in finding new flights, alternative methods of transportation to destination, etc. Eventually rescheduled for red-eye flight the following day (over 24 hours later). Found alternate transportation. Don't feel like I could trust AMERICAN with my travel plans again."

Pros: "I could give you specific feedback if I'd actually flown anywhere. American Airlines completely screwed the pooch, rebooked, and then canceled my flights. They could've handled it much better and we found out later from another agent that they had other flights that could've gotten us on another one of their flights that would have gotten us there on time."

Cons: "Unbelievably poor customer support. They accidentally canceled my flight and when I tried to retrieve my seat back, the lady was taking it as somebody else problem... If the AA was the one made an error of canceling my seat, I wished they would show at least an attitude of taking responsibility to fix the problem."

Cons: "Flight delayed by 5 hours last minute, making my layover 17 hours long. The delay caused my car rental place to give away my reservation so I had to wait an additional 2.5 hours to get a rental car. The primary reason for my travel was a wedding and although I made the actual wedding, I missed most of the pre-wedding activities that I had rsvped for. The seats were really uncomfortable, particularly the lack of low back support. I was very sore after the flight and was unable to sleep despite having been awake for over 24 hours prior to the flight. We were finally given meal tickets but was unable to use as everything closed at 10pm."

Cons: "Families with infants/young children not allowed to board early. Flight was delayed by almost 3 hours and gate moved FOUR times while waiting for the delayed flight... That's a LOT of moving when you're hauling a cranky 1 year old around the airport long after we were supposed to already be at our destination. Desk attendants were abrupt, not friendly, and diamissive when I came up to ask for a stroller tag."

This plane is older than the plan I took my first flight on as a kid in 1984. I thought united was bad but then I experienced American. At least the crew were not jerks."

Pros: "Boarding the plane from the back first saved longer queues. Unfortunately people cheat and the boarding officers don't send them back to the right queue. Toilets were clean. Staff excellent. I was glad all my flights were stuffed to the gunnels. Presumably that is best for the environment rather than lots of planes with fewer passengers in each."
Cons: "Passport control with new computer ID checks was fast. Baggage was slow coming. I booked through Netflights and they didn't book me a good seat. If I could have changed it myself they should have told me. On the way to Tampa on 3rd March I couldn't check in within 24 hours and had to wait half an hour while they changed our plane. BA used to do short science programmes which I loved. Shame these have finished."
