Cons: "The flight was delayed. The pilot explained that the plane had been sitting in the sun all day and during the flight check, they realized that the interior of the plane had gotten over 100 degrees by not being operated for hours before the flight. Seems like poor planning or preparation."

Cons: "Plane already late, then 15 minute taxi, then they could not drive the walkway up to us correctly so another 10 minutes wasted. We missed our connecting flight... rescheduled with different airlines much later. Missed a whole day out of our three day visit. Airline travel at its normal worst!"

Pros: "Let's see - I was in first class. The flight itself was fine - and only one hour + late!"
Cons: "Food - Served the "breakfast" (when it was called a protein plate) I had coming (into MSP). for "lunch" on the way back (called it a meat plate for lunch. One slice turkey, one slice jamon, one egg, cinnamon roll and fruit. Just because they don't want to serve bread - they call it a protein plate? I'm not on a protein diet. Food was pretty sick for the amount I paid for the fight. Stewardess said it was against Republic's rules to give a customer a can of tonic water (so I could add to the small amount of vodka) - she also told me that it was against Delta's, American's and United's rules to give a can - strange? First Class seat did not recline. First Class was freezing per every flight on this segment (the stewardesses sit in the back and don't want to be uncomfortable - if they make the front warm - the back is too hot for them (not joking on this one). So many things to list - that I will finish on the AA site."

Pros: "I went to check in for my flight and was told that it changed to American Airlines. By the time I arrived to the gate it the flight was full and they wouldn't let me on. I want a refund."

Pros: "we upgraded to economy plus seats and it made all the difference - just having an extra 4-5 inches made the 11 hour flight so much more tolerable than the trip to Madrid."

Pros: "All hope was lost until Greg came to our rescue. We made our connecting flight on time and didn’t have to reschedule the entire trip until the next day- losing out on lodging and plans abroad."
Cons: "The way this flight was cancelled due to weather and couldn’t be rescheduled by anyone at the airport, on the phone — knowing it was due to the size of the plane and the weather conditions. I wasn’t even offered a voucher or accommodation for what I was being told would be a 24-hour delay. That was until we met Greg, he literally saved our trip and our experience with American Airlines."

Cons: "We waited for seven hours while our flight kept getting delayed. We finally switched to another flight and I don’t even know if our original flight ever got off the ground. Frustrating, irritating, disappointing. American Airlines was a huge disappointment"

Cons: "Film selection was subpar, and had no subtitles available. Flight safety information video so unbelievably boring. Flight crew repeated all instructions at least 3 times including video interruptions. What is the point of having in flight entertainment if crew will interrupt said entertainment at least once every 10 min to remind you you are still in turbulent air? Do they honestly think the passengers forgot? We are in the plane too! I understand they have to be careful due to liability but this airline is ridiculous. Believe it or not customers do not like being treated like children. Would not recommend to others or fly this airline again. Also, the lunch was awful even by airline standards. Btw the airline was avianca not AA. kayak must have messed up or they are owned by AA. AA is great and I recommend them wholeheartedly but Avianca is awful. Stay away if you can afford to do so."

Cons: "I wasn't able to fly Alaska Airlines due to storm in Washington DC. My first flight American Airlines from Charlotte to Washington DC was cancelled. The second flight Alaska Airlines from Washington DC to Portland was delayed, but I never flew. I got a direct flight from American Airlines from Charlotte to Portland instead."

Cons: "Missed my connection in London due to a computer malfunction that took over an hour to remedy. In getting to London, I was automatically rebooked, but with a flight that got me in 10 hours later than expected. I asked customer service about alternate flights, with or without connections, that might get me in earlier, but was given a quite curt, "that is not possible," and turned away. Even if that was the case, which seems unlikely given the multiple other flights arriving in Luxembourg from European airports earlier in the day, it was not particularly friendly."

Pros: "I fell asleep and missed dinner. When I woke up one of the stuff came up to me and asked me if I would like to eat something and went especially for me and got me the the dinner portion. Although we had a delay I was informed promptly and the staff apologized for my inconvenience. The airline took responsibility and did not blame the delay on other factors. Thanks for being honest"

Pros: "ON TIME!!!!! Nice folks, smooth and safe."
Cons: "Got through the extensive security lines to USA one hour before scheduled departure and looked at the screen which said 'final boarding' which was not true and made us panic a bit, running for the gate. It did board and leave on time but not an hour early. This flight was night and day different than our ORD to Dublin flight of 5.12.17 which was 5 hours delayed and do stressful."

Pros: "Getting to my seat was overall the best experience. Out side of the finally walking onto the plane and sitting down, over an hour late, it was less than mediocre."
Cons: "If the plane was on time and didn't run an hour and 20 Ish minutes late, it would have been fine, except for the blinking over head reading light that would flash in my face every 20/30 seconds that could not be turned off being due to, as the flight attendant said, "they all do that"."

Cons: "Airline had no gates at destination and made us sit on board for an hour after landing. Should have been protactive and found air stairs to disembark instead of forcing passengers stuck on hot plane."

Cons: "The fact they they can just make it a policy and then because the employees have to have a job and enforce it blows my mind. 200 dollar transfer fee plus the difference in the ticket when it's over two weeks in advance. You people are scam artist"

Pros: "Went business class and was truly spoiled. Did an evening flight. The seat laid down to a flat bed. Boses headsets, facial refresher packages were provided. The food was wonderful and the wine was above average. A must experience!"

Cons: "AA crews are skimping on pre-departure service, rarely offering PDBs (pre-departure beverages), or, when they do, half-assing it by putting water and OJ on a tray and making it clear nothing else is available as they did on this flight. It sets the expectations very low for the rest of the flight, and that's what happened."

Pros: "The flight was not only on time, but a little early!! The flight crew were fantastic & the plane looked new. Everything went according to plan which rarely happens these days!!!"
