Check-in counter staff at Mumbai Airport was nice.
Crew was quite attentive to passengers during flight BOM->BRUX.
BRUX->EWR Flight :- Long & Winding single que at pre-boarding counter.
Crew was curt & not that attentive .... Serving Wine in Plastic Glasses !! .... Temp. in Economy Cabin was High .... Oxygen was LOW !!!
When informed about these difficulties the Crew gave excuses that others haven't complained about it, & only after a strong protest did they admit to it & started to correct the situation.
Crew response was also quite lack lustre.
The leg rests were also missing !!!
Overall the flight from Brussels to New Ark was disappointing...
Boarding was easy. clean plane, crew was very friendly. I was very concerned though, when we banked left and did a complete circle in the air. An explanation from the captain would have been terrific. I made sure I was the last one to leave the plane and asked him about it when I saw him at the exit. He told me what happened but I would have liked to know while it was happening. Besides that, the coke and pretzels were divine. :)

A couple of the crew members were disrespectful, combative, whining about other passengers and definitely needed to be trained in customer service.
Chicken/pasta was bland and not cooked well, pairing of the food was terrible, in fact they even had the wrong condiments - they gave butter with the omelette but no bread. In that case, instead of butter, ketchup would have made sense.
The music section of entertainment had one song in each genre. Poor touch screen, no pullout remote and not the best selection/ not properly organized.
Overall, I would say, United needs to learn from their peers - middle eastern and asian airlines about service, food and process. The only thing going for them is the direct connectivity
Food was okay.
On demand entertainment system was okay with good choice of hindi movies but not much English options.
Check in was horrible, i spent 2 hours just for check in process.
Unnecessary arguments by check in staff on cabin luggage bag size, the same bag that all other airlines allow.
No initiative taken by air india staff to speed up immigration process, security particularly when almost everyone spent 2hr.for check in. Almost all the passengers were in panic mode due to the delay and the only thing air india staff did was to say 'rush to the gate'.
No separate lines for Web check in. ..
Seat was horrible. Absolutely no cushion. I had to use 4 pillows to save my bums.
Only 2 meals were served in 17 hr flight. .. snacks, water juice were available but only 'self service' basis in pantry area which was crowded most of the times. Not even water, juice were served. ...not even once.
I don't want to say anything about air hostess...they do abig favor on us by letting us enter the aircraft.
Terrible flight had to delay few times , we had to wait inside in the plane for more than 2 hours , they had me to check im my carry on in geneva layover even i had a personla stuff inside and with no lock , rude crew i never even fly with suiss i had toncome back with lugthansa because they had to delay the flight again
Overhead bins for economy + are placed elsewhere. Preselected meal not available and was delayed in serving the alternative for 20 mins. Entertainment options include TV shows with 1 episode to pad the numbers
