The service in Lester b Pearson airport was unprofessional and sub standard by your employee Manija Anwarzada and her shift workers. They did not help me when I missed my flight to Pittsburgh because of our late arrival from Frankfurt. She and the others were not there to assist and help stranded passengers. In fact a couple of the staff were on cell phones and not helping passengers. She finally told us we had to go downstairs to the hall since her counter was closing. After traveling from Algiers to Frankfurt then on to Canada it was a terrible way to end the day. These emoyess made a very long day even longer.
I will never fly Air Canada again.
I will say once I got through customs there were more professional people who did at least get me a hotel room.

We paid cash for business class seats on this flight and they were terrible seats. They were NOT business class, they did not recline and there was no leg room. Nothing offered to drink upon boarding. All they did was take economy class seats, three wide, and put a thing on the middle seat to hold drinks. It was terrible and we will avoid Lufthansa in the future, and we travel a lot.
I wish it truly were Finnair instead of American: The seat, the legroom, the fact that you have to pay 20% more to have the same rotten seat 12 rows further up front, the food that's barely fit for human consumption, the presence of 20 year old cathode screens that can't be watched but do prevent the cabin being dark, etc.
Had to get off Korean air in Seoul & go thru terribly bogged down customs, just to transfer & continue on another Korean air plane - both ways! Barely made it to my 2nd plane even though I practically ran thru the big airport after the customs delay - both on my way to Hanoi & on my return. Got to Vancouver & only found out by accident that my checked bag would NOT be transferred to my Seattle flight, even though my tag clearly said to pick it up in Seattle. Had to disembark, claim my bag, then go thru the departure procedure at Vancouver all over again, with 2 customs checks: enter Canada, re board to U.S.
I really appreciated getting a meal on the plane despite the short two hour flight. I've always liked flying Korean Air due to their cleanliness, presentable flight attendants and good customer service.
The only thing I seemed to have a problem with was the volume and clearness that came out of my headphones. Although the headphones were provided by the airlines, the volume came out a little unclear and kind of scratchy. Other than that, everything was great.
The boarding was fine and the flight did not feel unreasonably crowded as some international flights can feel.
The food was really quite bad. Also, the entertainment devices are out of date (double-pronged headphone jack, slow-functioning controls), but function decently enough.
Boarding was easy. clean plane, crew was very friendly. I was very concerned though, when we banked left and did a complete circle in the air. An explanation from the captain would have been terrific. I made sure I was the last one to leave the plane and asked him about it when I saw him at the exit. He told me what happened but I would have liked to know while it was happening. Besides that, the coke and pretzels were divine. :)
Old fashioned seat, no usb to charge my phone, battery went ;off and couldn't make a call to my family to assure them of a half way safe trip while stopping over for almost 6 hours in Ataturk Intl. Airport, Turkey.
Our flight was cancelled and rebooked for 6 hours later. We did not get notification of this change. My gluten free meal was not on the flight that was changed. All the airline reps that I spoke with were very unhelpful.
Announcements were made in Japanese, English, and Thai. We were warned about turbulence several times in all languages. Flight to Bangkok from Tokyo had a USB port to charge my iphone, but flight back to Tokyo did not. Service from cabin attendants was excellent. One apologized twice for running out of the lunch selection I wanted to have, even though I was happy with the chicken curry. Courteous staff and pleasant experience, even with a competitive airfare. I would fly JAL again.
Never got on this flight. We were never given an email to self check in, and we're unable to board 45 mins before at the gate coming frim anotthe flight. They overbooked this flight & sold our tickets, and then told us we couldn't get on flight. Now we are out $2500 buying new tix!
All the above. A simple check in email would have averted this problem. All the other airlines do this. We were under the presumption that we had to check in at airport when we didn't get check-in notice. Furthermore, they sold our tickets, so we're down $2500 and they doubled their profit. It would be hard for me to say I will use Air Canada or kayak in the future.
The crew is very friendly and accommodating. Food was decent.
Delayed three hours in Amsterdam then caused me to miss my connecting flight to Seattle. Then they only gave me the option of being late a day. On top of all that they lost my luggage. Time to retire that 767.
Staff are very attentive and helpful; the entertainment system is top class
On boarding, the markers for "business" and "diamond" class are only distinguished by a (low) signpost at the head of the queue. If you're further back or not so tall s difficult to see which queue is correct... quite a few people (not me fortunately!) got turned away because they don't know ANA's boarding system. Also a problem with boarding at HND where the overhead monitors show BIz but not First/Diamond.
As some other reviews pointed out, BBC news just didn't work. CNN worked intermittently.
This was a very pleasant flight. The attendants were excellent. The plane was clean. The food was good for airline fare. The entertainment system made the flight go by better. Over all an excellent experience
The usual the leg room is not great nor is the space between passengers. But nothing horrible.
Cabin crews are efficient and very polite. Film selection is fine.
Food is boring. I always find myself hungry after flight, as I couldn't find much to eat so left a lot. Maybe I should bring my own food from next time...
The crew was great as usual, and I always enjoy the unique selection of international film in the entertainment system.
That old plane was VERY drafty around the emergency exit. I can't remember ever feeling cold on a plane. Usually it's the opposite. But here was a consistent stream of ice cold air leaking through the airframe around the emergency exit. It was cold enough that I had to put several layers of blankets up on the wall and lean against them all the way home. In addition, my seat was so "well-used" that it provided very little support and often felt as though I was sitting on a bench. Not a pleasant experience.
Flight delayed due to weather. Rebooking was a zoo, had to pay for hotel room and worst of all waited over an hour at baggage claim to get our bags back. It's taking us 2 days to get from Albuquerque to Austin.
