Pros: "Everything. I bought some souvenir magnets from the shop across from Starbucks near Gate C5(?). The gentleman working the register was very pleasant and was a welcome personality so early in the day. As a service member, I would like to thank him for his service. He was consistent in asking patrons whether they’d like to purchase a travel kit for the troops. A few patrons were abrupt and responded rudely but he maintained a level head and pressed on. Great attitude and professionalism. Thank you very much for your support! Also, I was able to get my Military discount applied towards my purchase which enabled me to purchase 1 travel kits for my fellow service members. A little goes a long way and when returning from deployments or coming home for R&R, it tends to be hectic and I, myself have often forgotten toiletries which I was able to get from the USO. The USO staff were also friendly and did an amazing job handling all of the personnel that funneled in, exhausted. Great attitudes and clean facilities. I would love to see an expansion to this USO location. They were full up this day, thank you for having this available to us! TSgt Angela Santiago Otero, USAF"

Ridiculous to say the least, I had to pay for their mistake"

Each time was a delay of a couple of hours causing us to miss both of our original layover flights. As a result, we missed TWO very important business meetings that ended up costing us over $10,000! We were unable to provide paychecks to employees! After spending 2 entire days sitting in the airport waiting, we were offered a "food voucher" for $30, were advised to go pick up our luggage first, but they failed to mention we would be unable to get back through DFW airport security just to eat!! We had to take a taxi back to our hotel for over $100 and they didn't offer help with that or anything else. This airline is the worst!!! Unless there is significant compensation offered, I will do anything and everything to destroy their reputation further. I'm in the marketing industry and am very capable of getting the word out to millions. American Airlines... 9/11...Never Forget."

However, all my clothing and outerwear were no match for the drastic cold temperatures I endured. I couldn't wait to get off that plane, get in my car, pop on some yoga socks I keep in my arm rest and turn the heat all the way up. My core body temp stayed pretty chilly the entire night, this is odd considering I'm normally the person who is always hot."

They woman who I checked in with and paid for my carry-on proceeded to not give my my daughter's tickets and one of my wife's tickets, so we had to go back to her after trying to get through the Xray, and get the additional tickets, almost making us late. They charge for coffee and soda, and don't give any free snacks on a 3 hour flight."

Frontier is a budget airline and I chose them because the flight time and the price both sang to me."

Cons: "I had to come into work the morning of my flight, so I was running late to the Nashville Airport. When I tried to print out my ticket from a Frontier kiosk, nothing happened. The attendant present was not working for Frontier and told me I could make my flight if I hurried, then she walked away. Too bad I didn't have my ticket and no one from Frontier was there to assist. Despondent and apathetic from the hellish events from this week, I resigned to paying $450 to book a one way flight on United from Nashville to Denver the same day. If I had booked a United or AA flight from the beginning, they would have assisted me in getting to my flight on time. Their planes have more legroom anyway. I hope my luck is better on the return flight, or I will be out a few more hundred dollars because Frontier doesn't have the resources to have a full-time staff (ostensibly). If you're not a gambler when it comes to whether or not you'll make your destination on time, or at all, then don't use Frontier. I'm not about that life."

Cons: "This was the oldest plane I had been on in quite a while. The tray tables where half the size of the regular ones and metal. There was hardly any legroom. There was absolutely no entertainment options. No Wi-Fi on the plane. And you had to pay for any snacks and drinks. Although I did get a great amount for the cost, I would have paid a little extra to fly a different airline in order to have Wi-Fi and entertainment options."

That happened twice. I went to the airport if I choose to rebook, the next available date was five days after my original departure. I would never again attempt to fly with frontier"

I couldn't reach the fan or light control as I was in a window seat and the controls were very close to the aisle. Even if I had stood up to adjust the controls - I would have had a very difficult time of reaching across my seatmates. The tray is now some sort of tiny shelf. My water bottle would not even fit on the tray nor did my Ipad. Both of which had to rest on my lap. The only thing that fit on the tray was the little plastic cup of purchased soda. The carry on charge still chaps me. I believe they would attempt to charge you for oxygen masks if they could. Frontier has simply become too bare bones for me. Cons: "they did not provide food or drinks. plus they charged me $40 for my bag. the ride was so uncomfortable and the woman who checked me in was so rude never flying frontier again"

Pros: "We were able to take off a bit early and we came in to Denver at least 20 min early. Also the flight was shorter than they estimated, from 2 hours to 90 min. So that was great. Hoping the flight home on a different airline is just as good."
Cons: "As with most airlines now, there wasn't alot of leg room. It's a good thing I'm vertically challenged. Poor guy across and one up from me was a good 6 feet tall and he looked quite uncomfortable."

Cons: "Everything was awful from the way they handled bags, to the communication about delays, to the delays themselves, to the failure to take care of passengers given the long delays. Before signing up for a Spirit flight, make sure you add the cost of checking carry-on bag, getting a seat assignment, getting any water during flight, boarding (yes they up charge for boarding). Then, make sure you factor in the small size of the airline which makes it far, far more vulnerable to weather delays - fewer planes, fewer pilots, fewer re-routes available. Also, add at least an hour to the end of each flight to get your bags if you do check them. So, you don't save money or time, and you're very vulnerable to weather and mechanical. With their organization this bad, I can only imagine how weak their mechanical is."

Pros: "I liked the VFW lounge and the free amenities for us veterans"
Cons: "Everything els, horrible everything..will never fly Spirit again"

Pros: "About the only thing that I can say I liked is, the boarding process went smothly for me & my luggage was on time."
Cons: "Where to start... paid more in bag fees & to get an isle seat for each(4)flights than I did for damn plane ticket! Flights delayed 4hrs another flight in same trip delayed 2 hours. Staff wasn't interactive/friendly I'd say 6/10 were nice. Asked for an isle seat the person helping at counter, said I'd have to pay to upgrade. Seriously- upgrade for isle seat!! I paid to have an isle seat on all 4 flights(I'm a disabled vet who was injured in the line of duty) I need easy access to toilets I'm unable to crawl over people, in turn need idle seat). Paid for isle seat all 4 flights- just to see the flights were super empty, people were sitting where they wanted anyway. Thanks for taking my $ for the seats tho spirit:-|. Staff wasn't that friendly compared to other airlines I've flown on. Not food. No entertainment on flight. Not worth it. If they don't do better business they won't last long I feel. There is potential just needs some work!"

Cons: "I didn't like the baggage policy. I didn't like the check in policy or the fact that they don't support TSA precheck because they hope to sell you on an additional fee that will get you through a prority lane. I didn't like the seats which are hard plastic, close together, and don't recline. I didn't like the mini tray table that wouldn't support my laptop so I couldn't work. I didn't like that Spirit falsely advertises with the tag line "LESS MONEY, MORE GO" when the base fare for my connecting flight on this sub-par airline was more expensive than a direct flight on a better airline-before the other fees were added."

Pros: "Boarding went fairly quickly"
Cons: "The space between seats was too short to fit my legs in (I'm not talking comforatably; I mean AT ALL - I physically did not fit), you have to pay for every little thing and ultimately save no money, the staff is obviously bored at work and spends a lot of time in their phones or complaining. I hate this airline."

Cons: "I didn't make my first flight and I bought another ticket to fly to Vegas with. I made my second flight and they made me buy another plane ticket saying that they cancelled my flight. I had to buy the same ticket 2 times. Not happy about it at all!!!!"

Pros: "Everything people say about Spirit is true... you get what you pay for...and then more payments on top of that...."

Pros: "A voucher for a free flight. My husband and I were both stuck in this fight and now live, at 4 am, are driving around trying to find somewhere to sleep that isn't sold out."
Cons: "No organization, preparation for this kind of event. No assistance in finding lodging. No offered compensation for the 13 hour blunder."

Cons: "This was one of the worst flight experiences of my entire life. I had to pay almost $200 in extra fees, which included everything from checked bags, carry on bags AND seat selection. Their website is awful! It took me over 2 hours plus 2 customer service phone calls before I was able to check in for my flight. Completely disorganized at the airport. Under staffed. We arrived 2 hours early and barely made our flight. We were in lines so long we barely had time to use the restroom, let alone find any kind of food for the flight. Upon boarding, I witnessed one of the flight attendants being extremely rude and hostile to a female customer who was talking to her friend about how bad her Spirit experience was. A supervisor came back and instead of reprimanding the rude flight attendant, she told all of us that if the flight attendant didn't feel "comfortable" with any of us, we would be "removed" from the flight! The flight was delayed because they closed the cabin doors before 10 additional customers were able to make it through their ridiculous lines. Instead of apologizing for their incompetence, they blamed the customers for being late, despite the fact that at least one of them initially arrived at the same time we did (2 hours before the flight)! Oh and the flight itself was rickety as hell with screaming babies everywhere. I'm absolutely DREADING the return flight home. This is the worst airline ever and should be shut down as soon as possible."

Pros: "Nice crew. Very friendly once we were on board."
Cons: "You charge for everything, from seats (in order to sit together), to carry on baggage to checked baggage. We couldn't check in on line, and when we got to the airport, there were 6 agents no helping anyone, but not really helping us. Once we got to the boarding area, we were late boarding, but there were no updates with regard to why we were delayed or how long the delay might be."

Pros: "The crew was very attentive and positive."
Cons: "The flight was delayed, but the communication regarding the reason and/or expected boarding time was very poor. In addition to the poor communication, we boarded even later than expected. After landing in Denver it took more than an hour for anyone to get their bags; I waited 1 hour 5 minutes at the baggage claim for my bag."

Pros: "The seats w extra room was nice but it is stupid that I have to pay extra for it. When will airlines realize if you give nice seats and space more people will choose you."

Cons: "It took over 48 hours to get from Detroit to Denver due to weather and security issues. The fact that these issues came up is not necessarily the fault of Spirit but Spirit did not offer any conveniences or accommodations while I had to wait for the issues to be resolved."

Pros: "Crew was nice, but has just turned into a ridiculous process and like many I'll do anything reasonable to avoid spirit in the future. Constant nickel-and-diming. And the things that spirit makes their crew do in flight are embarrassing for everyone. Felt like we were being treated like children in the boarding process in the check in process and throughout the flight. Non-transparent fees throughout the whole process makes people distrust the company."

Pros: "Spirit is very open about being inexpensive and why they charge for everything, instead of trying to hide it. I like the ability to go for the bare minimum - Staff was very friendly - seats don't recline might be eh (but then you don't get into battles with the person in front of you) -booked everything online and just printed my pass. didn't have to wait in any lines"

Cons: "All Denver flights were cancelled so after talking with Spirit Airlines the first flight they could get me back to Denver was Dec. 20th which was 5 days later. Extremely poor customer service. I will never intentionally book a flight on Spirit every again."

Cons: "I think that if its plan has any mechanical problems it needs to be repair before flying to destination! Now today I'm flying back to home but again still delay and the same problem with plane! I lost my 3 hours to coming to San Diego and spent more money than I thought! That's why I'd say they are not professional! Also I was going to change my flight for next day but customer service asked me to pay more than 100$ dollars, but I bought new ticket for next day for 34$ dollars! So I don't fly again with spirit airlines and don't recommend to anyone to fly with this airlines!"
