The late notification led to me missing my nest connection in Minneapolis, and having to sleep in the airport until the following morning in order to transfer my ticket to another flight leaving in the morning/afternoon/evening...very nerve-wracking to say the least."

The flight attendant was so rude on this trip. It was like she was absolutely offended by my presence. I barely even spoke to her except to make sure of my vegetarian tray to which I got the nasty reply "You'll have to wait because I don't have it with me now". If I wasn't so focused on sleeping as much as I could I would have written her name down. No complimentary cocktails for Preferred Seating? Seriously? What did I upgrade for exactly? Literally four inches of space? Late, rude, money sucking industry who holds no accountability for wrong doings. Don't get into the Health Industry.. you'll kill people with this flippant attitude. Bleh.. I doubt I'll fly with Delta again. The thought of having to do so turns my stomach."

It was a 10

For a delayed flight, and one that most choose because of the amenities, no one apologized for the lack of amenities. A simple, “we are truly sorry” announced to everyone would have gone miles. Instead, the crew kept trying to almost conceal the total lack of available entertainment and even feign like it might “sort of work” until the last minute. I was traveling with my life partner, who intended upon and did work the whole flight (despite zero internet, even for the little time avail that we are aware of when traveling to/from PR), but also with a just turned 6 year old who had been looking forward to using “his own” screen for the last 2 weeks. Underwhelming to say the least. The crew’s apathy didn’t help.

She then marked me as a no-show, while she was standing right next front of her. I had to spend the next 4 hrs on the phone, trying to get my tickets sorted out. Then, upon arriving at Heathrow,... No luggage. They told me it was still in Chicago. Upon finally receiving my bags, I find them full of sawdust and sand, and several items damaged. I will NEVER fly American Airlines again, and I will highly recommend to my friends and family to avoid them like them plague. Horrible service! Nothing but a run-around and not once did the agents apologise, even after admitting that my problems on this journey were due to a mistake made by one of their agents."

My bag fit the meassurements and still was forced to check it (which I did not want to do as I did not want to be waiting an hour for my bag at my arrival as I had work early the next day. In addition there was airplaine traffic as it was "rush hour" instead of flying at 7:45 we departed almost at 9pm!!!! Have to pay for food Quality of tv monitors very poor And in an uncomfortable position No movie options No wifi although stated the aircraft has Non functioning electrical plug"

I contacted AA in two ocassions and both times their personnel were impersonal and even rude to me with the whole situation. I ended up losing $250 because of choosing American Airlines. I will do my best to avoid traveling with American ever again, and I will spread the word, as well. I felt robbed, so unfair."

I usually pick American over other airlines even if the price is slightly higher but after this last fiasco I doubt I will fly with them again. From the start of the trip there was a delay. I was told that I would have to stay in a hotel in Charlotte because I would miss my connecting flight. I agreed and waited for my flight that was nearly 2 hours late. I arrived in Charlotte and retrieved my bag as instructed and went to the counter. The lady then stated that it was probably best if I tried to get on the last remaining flight even though it showed sold out because "there have been delays all day and plenty of people have been missing their connecting flights". So I rechecked my bag and headed to the game. This flight was delayed, as it was the last for the night, so that all the connecting flights could be made. Okay, that is fair enough....even though I didn't get to board and now I no longer had my bag as this is now on the plane. 30 minutes after the plane left I finally get my voucher for motel along with a $12 voucher for food that can only be used in the terminal restaurants......which are now closed for the night. After 30 minutes of trying to contact the hotel for shuttle information I was advised that they were no longer taking airline vouchers. I , again, approached the ticket counter and I was advised that I "would just have to wait because there are no rooms in the system at this time." And none of this instruction seemed professional or accommodating. After another hour I was approached that now there are no other options in their system for accommodations and I would have to pursue options on my own. So......the higher priced one way ticket just became $100 more at no fault of my own."

I then went to a counter behind the carousel and asked about my bag. I was only then told that my bag had been there the whole time I was waiting."

People with children were told to be ready to board early, but we were the 3rd group to board. I had to pay $3 for my daughter to have juice to drink (no beverage or snack included) after I had to pay extra to get seats assigned to be together with my 3 year old."
Cons: "You send e-mail notices to me but I cannot access e-mail away from home as I am not into smart gadgets. I checked at home for flight status but by the time I drove 70 minutes to the airport, the flight was delayed, and delayed, and delayed. Once at Denver, we sat on the tarmac for 4 1/2 hours waiting for a gate. Southwest deplaned people on the tarmac. Once at the gate, we had to wait another 15 min for a jetway operator and someone to operate the TUG/generator. And my consolation prize was a 4 oz cup of water. YIPPEE!!"
Pros: "The flight attendants were very friendly, I was greeted on the plane with a smile."
Cons: "Paying for carry-ons and drinks, somewhat of a lack of professionalism with boarding one lady was short with me about a carry on. Took us a long time to take off after being seated because they didn't have the luggage loaded yet."

Cons: "For an airline that is charging for carry-on and seats, the money certainly isn't going back into the plane. Not only are the vinyl seats cramped and outdated, but the plane interior itself was filthy. Stains on the walls (soda?) the floor (food, vomit?) and trash all over the floor and in the seat tracks (no vacuum?). No snacks nor complimentary beverages of any kind, and the staff endlessly promoting the Frontier credit card. Shameless."
Pros: "We arrived to Omaha from Denver and back again safely."
Cons: "It was about an hour delay out and over 2.5hr delay back. I got home at 12:45am, and had a 6:30 appointment the next morning. I don't know what others with connecting flights did... Also, I'm not used to having to pay for coffee, soda or a tiny snack."
Cons: "It sacked! After waiting 1.5 hours and being told the flight was going to be delayed over 3 hours it was cancelled! These people deserve NO business!!"
Cons: "Landed but no one was available to park the plan so connecting flight passengers could catch their next flights. Almost like no one new the plane had arrived."
Pros: "They got me to Denver."
Cons: "We boarded on time (in fact, we were supposed to land 10 minutes early at 5:05, when our original arrival time was 5:16). At 5:10, the captain came on and said that we weren't going to arrive until 5:50, "because of a reroute from earlier." We weren't informed of this reroute until 5 minutes after we expected to land. We pulled up to the jetway at 5:45 and the jetway was broken. More specifically, the KEY to the jetway was broken and they had to call "someone from the city" to come fix it. Finally two people came and fixed it and we were able to get off the plane at 6:20 (amongst extremely disgruntled people shoving their way past the rows in front of them, which no crew member did anything about). Beyond this, the armrest between my fiance and me was missing it's plastic cover, so a bumpy piece of hard metal was digging into my elbow the entire flight. When I pulled out my tray table (from my neighbors armrest) there was gum smushed into it. I told crew and they said they'd clean it when we got to Denver, so I was stuck with it the entire flight. Last, the hidden fees associated with Frontier are insane. Our flight cost an additional $110 for seats and bags and we'll pay that again on the way home. $220 in hidden fees is absolutely unacceptable. People were actually crying at the gate because they didn't know they had to pay for all of this and didn't have the money. Not one thing mentioned here is an acceptable way to treat paying customers at any level."

Cons: "Irritated by the carry on baggage fee... $90 for two items! And I had to pay for my cup of coffee!!!.. And just as irritating, our departure was delayed an hour waiting for the previous plane to clear the gate. The poor peopme arriving on our aircraft had to sit in front of the gate for 45 minutes holding their bladders. Not sure why they didn't do a gate change. Last bit of whining.... The new ultra thin seats are uncomfortable... Made my butt numb. And I couldn't use the fancy new ultra-thin tray table for my laptop because it was only as wide as my $2.00 cup of coffee."

Cons: "First, we were late which I understand. We sat after we landed for forty five minutes. My brothers checked bags were at a different baggage claim and it took forty more minutes."

Cons: "Arrival time kept getting pushed back and no one was there to even tell us why. 2 hours later when someone finally shows up I finally manage to get an answer. Our ridiculous wait was because Frontier messed up with their staffing. They were understaffed at the Denver airport. I had to find out on my own how much the flight was being delayed because the screens at the airport never updated. It was delayed by 20+ minutes several times during our wait with no hint as to when it would stop being pushed back. This made it extremely inconvenient for the person picking me up because they have to drive longer than I'm in the air, not to mention we didn't get back until super late because of it and had to miss all of our plans. Several other families on the plane also mentioned having to cancel their plans for the evening. When we finally land, their coordinating was apparently terrible and the gate we were to exit on was occupied by another plane so we are told we'll have to wait for a while. Which, to be fair, probably wouldn't have felt like such a big deal had we not already been delayed 2 hours. But it gave the impression of a lack of urgency or care for our time. Like we were just constantly being pushed to the back of the bus. In the past when I've encountered this kind of an issue at the hands of the airline, they always offered some sort of small voucher or free beverages on the plane or SOMETHING to make us feel valued and to affirm that they simply messed up and ruined many people's evenings. The crew apologized and I realize it had nothing to do with them, but from an overhead standpoint, this was ridiculous. Southwest and Delta have always been great about trying to make it up the customer even if it's something small like a free drink on the plane. Working in customer service myself, I'm pretty disgusted about the lack of communication on Frontier's part. A lot of frustration would have been resolved if they simply told us at the gate what was going on and why we kept being pushed back. After my return trip, I will probably stick with Southwest or Delta from here on out."

Cons: "My flight was suppose to be a quick hop from Omaha to Denver. Unfortunately, there was thunder storms rolling through the Denver area, so we had to circle for 30 minutes then had to divert to FT Collins for a fuel stop. This is where it went from bad to worse. It took over three hours for them to fuel and get us back to Denver. We had to sit on the plane the entire time, but then the Captain gave us the option to disembark and make it our final destination. Some did, which meant we had to go through the entire weight and balance process before we could even fly. The paperwork took hours to get. The Captain kept telling us another 5-10 minutes. The flight crew had serious attitude and was not accommodating at all. They finally offered us granola bars after sitting for two hours waiting. Overall, I will never fly this airline again no matter how cheap the tickets are. This is a bare minimum airline and that's why the tickets are less expensive than other airlines."

The least expensive seats should be included in the price of the ticket....OMG. They don't offer complimentary anything. Reminds me of my train ride through Yugoslavia in the '80s."

Despite having access to them we were initially grounded due to weather but it became unbelievable. Excuse after excuse. Staff wasn't very friendly either. Also no mention of bag fees during flight purchase! Never flying frontier again."

Never have I heard of paying to carry on your small bag- absolutely ridiculous! Then to pay for subpar seats and any beverage was the final straw. Cons: "I was supposed to leave at 3:20pm on Thursday March 24th. At about 10am I got an email saying my flight was on time. Then later I got one saying it might be canceled, and then I got one saying it was canceled. I called right away & was on hold for 40 MINUTES! I was at a conference so had to miss much of a session I was in which was very frustrating. Then I was told the soonest they could get me home would be Sunday evening - really?! They couldn't even help me with another airline. So then I asked for a refund & decided to just drive home. They gave me the refund but it was significantly less than 50% of my entire round-trip ticket. They said that was because the flight out to Omaha (that I had already taken) was a lot more than the flight back to Denver - again, really?! Also all their extra charges are ridiculous - charging $30-$35 to check a bag - even more if you wait to check it once you're at the airport; and charging even more for a carry on. AND charging you if you want to chose your seat?! Do airlines not know you're going to be bringing luggage?I will NEVER fly Frontier again."

The only option they gave me was to move it two days later. I had to pay more money to buy a southwest flight that still got me in late because they would only cover a portion of it.
