Pros: "It’s been awhile Since I’ve flown delta and omg they truly blow every other domestic airline out of the water hands down. And I’m flying basic economy. Impressed. Bravo Delta"

I'm pretty sure the connecting flight waited for us to make it and the crew on the LAX flight tried to expedite those with VERY short connection off the plane as quickly as possible."

The gates kept changing. I got up to move to the correct gate at least four times during the night. The next mornings flight was behind schedule as well. We paid extra for the convenience of a direct flight Our flight was changed without notification to a connecting flight that was leaving 10 minutes earlier and arriving 2 hours later. Due to malfunction with the kiosk and not a sufficient amount of agents at check in, we missed our flight by 4 minutes. The gate agent seemed to enjoy telling us, with our 10 month old baby, that we were too late. Our baggage, including car seat, had been loaded on the plane. We were reassigned to a flight the following morning. We missed a full day with family, had to travel back home without a car seat and return to the airport the following day. I was shocked and disappointed that not single Delta agent was accommodating or remotely helpful while we were at the airport. I've never had a problem with Delta before. We travel on regularly and would like to continue using Delta. I would like a voucher for my next Delta trip."

Cons: "My husband booked West Jet by phone. They spelled my name wrong on the ticket which caused hours of delays tryng to check in...ultimately leading to our missing the flight. The time spent was around 6 hours....4 of them the were on one continuous phone call where we were bumped back and forth between West Jet and Delta. The problem was never fixed and we haven’t flown home yet. We have new flights booked on Delta but only because Delta took pity....West Jet does no refunds or reticketing. If flights are missed you're out on of luck!"

But pilot was very good about keeping us informed on delays and he was as frustrated as we were."

I mention this only because this was the only glitch during the rest of the flight. Loved the wide variety of entertainment available inflight, the AC outlets on EVERY row, and though I didn't need it this time, the availability of Wi-Fi Internet is appreciated. And though we left 40 minutes late, we made up part of the time and arrived only 20 min later than scheduled. Bravo Delta! I'll have to check out your version of Mileage Plus."

One of the flight attendents was more bossy I felt than necessary. She told me not to put my backpack in the overhead bin, even though there was enough space and the back 3rd of the aircraft was half empty (I was in the last loading zone so there weren't many more people after me)."

Pros: "I loves the pilot. He seemed to love his job and would make a couple funny jokes every time he spoke on the speakers and I never see that. Loved him and his landing was the only one not giving me any ear aches."
Cons: "Flight attendant missed couple lines of food and after letting them know instead of bringing the cart back they were tossing the entire plate on top of the head of the other passengers. One of them fell of right on one of the passengers. The second thing that irritates me is that one of the flight attendant approached me and was asking if I want chicken beef or pasta and I said chicken and she was like that is not an option in a very rude tone as of I am dumb or deaf of some sort. The other passengers also confirmed that they heard she did say that chicken was an option She could’ve nicely said it or apologized for telling an option that doesn’t exist. Instead she was giving an really bad attitude about it. Very irritated"

Cons: "We were advised upon check in online that we could check in but if we needed additional carry on items (1 was free) we had to pay a secondary fee. When attempting to do that online we were unable to, even though it showed the price to do so online was cheaper than the price at the gate. They made us fully check these bags once we got there and we had to pay $40 instead of the 15 or so it stated online. We had to be shuttled to the aircraft and had to wait because the first bus was closed by the operator. We had to wait until the second round for the bus to come back. During the flight the pilot did not mention any turbulence however during the entirety of the flight, including leading up to the landing of the plane, we experienced extreme rocking of the plane back and forth ( I’m aware that this does occur during landings while loosing elevation but this was an extreme case of that) and caused my colleague to get motion sickness which neither of us ever get on flights. I am very dissatisfied with this flight and operations of the airline company."

Pros: "I like to fly LH on the BOS to FRA route as they are the only carrier to fly this route nonstop. Usually the service is quite good. The crew is attentive, offers water or juice repeatedly, gives you a warm moist handcloth before the mealservice to clean your hands. Check-in in FRa can be tedious becaiuse of long lines."
Cons: "LH experienced several strikes in the last two years or so. Once I had to stay an extra day, this time I had to cut a family visit a day short. While they handled the rebooking in both cases quite efficiently, not everyone might have the flexibility to change days so easily. It is also disappointing when one has to give up on a planned activity to make it back home on time. Movie selection could be updated and I miss having an actual newspaper or magazine to read on the long flight. Will have to pack my own oin the future."

Cons: "Day before the flight, Me and my husband did the online checkin as soon we got the email to ensure that our seats are together. At Milan airport, we verified our seat numbers again with the staff to make sure that my seat( which was assigned by Lufhtansa itself) is still the same and is Window seat. She checked and confirmed at the airport that my seat is window seat and there won't be any changes. At Frankfurt airport, while we were ready to board the flight, we were told that the system had assigned my seat to someone else even though i had the seat number printed in my ticket and verified it the same morning at Milan airport too. The Lufthansa staff member M.Hoy ( M.Ahoy) was not at all helpful to resolve the issue. After requesting him to give me another window seat or resolve this system issue, he behaved in a very disrespectful way. Even though it was airlines mistake in reshuffling my seat at the very last moment of boarding the light, he was not at all helpful and spoke to us in a very rude way. I am a regular flyer with Lufthansa/United flights and this was a very horrible experience. I am very disappointed."

Furthermore I couldn’t use the check-in kiosks because my name was listed as Reidmr instead of Reid, which meant that my boarding pass did not match my passport. Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. I'm questioning their business practices when they were asking about 5 pounds for a drink. I will fly with some other airlines next time."

Of course I thought I was pushing it to ask for it all at once, but they laughed, proceeded to fill my wishes and with a good sense of humor asked If I wanted anything else! I prefer the aisle as I like to get up a lot and hate to annoy others who may prefer not to get up every time I do. I was lucky that the flight had plenty of empty seats and was able to move to an aisle after asking. What happens on a full flight? I would have been really upset. What is the point of pre-booking one' s seat? If the plane is changed, BA ought to take care to make sure a pre-booked seat gets a window/aisle near the row they chose. I suspect that is more important than the row on a long flight."

I was nearly late to my connection to Paris. Instead of a 1 hr 55 min layover in DFW, I had 7 minutes from the time I finally got my suitcase to the time I got to the other terminal to board."

Cons: "Far and away the most uncomfortable and worst value-for-money international flight I've experienced. This plane is so old it should be put in a museum. The warm food was terrible and the non-hot food was completely frozen so even if I wanted to eat it, this wouldn't be possible. Individual seat in-flight entertainment screens have been the norm for many years, yet this plane had the community-style in-flight entertainment. Half of the time, the screens weren't working, which just made matters worse. The total lack of legroom and chair ergonomics made getting comfortable nearly impossible. I was literally in pain sitting in these seats. I live in Prague and visit family in the US often. This was my first experience with American Airlines' newer direct flight option from Prague to Philadelphia; based on the extreme discomfort of the inflight features and to top it off it was the highest price I've paid for a flight back home...(total lack of value for the money! )I would go out of my way to make sure I never take this route again."

No luggage. They told me it was still in Chicago. Upon finally receiving my bags, I find them full of sawdust and sand, and several items damaged. Nothing but a run-around and not once did the agents apologise, even after admitting that my problems on this journey were due to a mistake made by one of their agents."

I usually pick American over other airlines even if the price is slightly higher but after this last fiasco I doubt I will fly with them again. From the start of the trip there was a delay. I was told that I would have to stay in a hotel in Charlotte because I would miss my connecting flight. I agreed and waited for my flight that was nearly 2 hours late. I arrived in Charlotte and retrieved my bag as instructed and went to the counter. The lady then stated that it was probably best if I tried to get on the last remaining flight even though it showed sold out because "there have been delays all day and plenty of people have been missing their connecting flights". So I rechecked my bag and headed to the game. This flight was delayed, as it was the last for the night, so that all the connecting flights could be made. Okay, that is fair enough....even though I didn't get to board and now I no longer had my bag as this is now on the plane. 30 minutes after the plane left I finally get my voucher for motel along with a $12 voucher for food that can only be used in the terminal restaurants......which are now closed for the night. After 30 minutes of trying to contact the hotel for shuttle information I was advised that they were no longer taking airline vouchers. I , again, approached the ticket counter and I was advised that I "would just have to wait because there are no rooms in the system at this time." And none of this instruction seemed professional or accommodating. After another hour I was approached that now there are no other options in their system for accommodations and I would have to pursue options on my own. So......the higher priced one way ticket just became $100 more at no fault of my own."
