2hours delayed and didn't give notification right away 🤷‍♀️. I even lost my food to rush to go to the airport. Paid $60 for seafood plate ending just leave it almost halfway on my way to the airport find out the flight was delayed. I wish they have more accurate policy to let passengers knows for any problems about the flight as soon or as early they can

Cons: "After a delay of about an hour on a very full flight the gate agent asked for volunteers to check their rollaboard suitcases. The gate agents then allowed those who checked their rollaboards to board before Zone 1,which was fine. However, a bunch of people without gate check stickers on the rollaboards were also allowed to board before Zone 1, which was aggravating. There was a long delay on the tarmac, during which we had to pull back to the gate or to a maintenance area before we finally took off. When we arrived in Vegas there was no gate for us to pull into, which led to another long delay of an already long and delayed flight."

Pros: "How does one describe spending 10+ hours in a metal tube approximately 18 feet wide at 30,000 feet with 300 of your closest friends breathing the same air while having the seat in front of you pushed back so you cannot adequately see the passenger monitor because it's too close to focus on as your knees are under your chin? Flying in "steerage" is not comfortable as humans get larger and airplane seats get squeezed smaller. Please unsqueeze! Cabin crew members were excellent. Other than that, Europe was great!"

I couldn't move around enough and I ended up with a trigger point problem which immobilized me for 3 days and kept me from sleeping at night. It was very disappointing, since this was a family visit trip."

Yet kept getting elbowed by this overweight neighbor. 7. I am a single, independent person. I prefer to sit near the front. First on and settled and 1st off and gone!"

Cons: "The positives don’t even come close to offsetting the misery of Delta’s seats. I honestly don’t remember the last time I was so cramped and uncomfortable. I’m not an abnormally large man - 6 feet 200 lbs - and there was no room for my legs or my shoulders in an “upgraded economy” seat. I fly weekly for work on another major airline, and only took this one in a crunch. But I am quite certain this was my last Delta flight and I’ll be advising others similarly. The service and entertainment aren’t sufficient to mask an awful seat configuration."

Neat clean A330, friendly crew & food + beverages to brag (you pay outrageous prices on 'leaner-meaner' airlines if at all available). Loved the whole experience. Flying is not only getting from A to B & Delta has realized it. Looking forward to my next Delta flight!"

Pros: "for a 9.5 hour flight, the seat was actually pretty comfortable. The A330 is definitely more comfortable than 767. While the food sucked on my outbound flight from atlanta to london, the food on the amsterdam to atlanta flight was pretty good. there was a lunch, a snackbox and then a hot snack before landing. There was plenty of beer to drink so that made the flight better."
Cons: "first, the entertainment system was busted. you could use the flight tracker and play games, but couldn't watch any movies or tv shows. They only told us about this 5 minutes before boarding. There was wifi so you could stream shows to a tablet, but that assumed you had a tablet and that it was charged because the usb ports on the nonfunctioning entertainment system were, you guessed it, nonfunctional. Fortunately we had charged tablets and were able to stream some shows but they kept buffering and locking up because the gogo wifi wasn't working very well. About half the flight attendants were friendly but the other half obviously didn't want to be there. The last half hour was pretty bumpy due to remants of a hurricane in the area. The person behind me was frantically looking for a barf bag but we found out that most of the seats didn't have them. So that could have been ugly. I flew delta for the skymiles but based on this trip I will either fly on their partners (virgin, klm, airfrance) for reduced mile credit, or choose a different airline."

An international call wait of 1.5 hours was required to just get us back into the economy plus section that we had originally paid for, Amsterdam check-in was chaotic. In-plane staff was not at all helpful with our desire to get seats on the outside rows of our section."

Cons: "This flight was on a Transavia codeshare with Delta and a real downer after coming from a Delta One business class segment. An uncontrolled mass boarding, crammed in seating, no amenities and charges for a drink of water made this a pretty crappy flight. The crew was nice though."

Cons: "When I checked in online, I received boarding passes for the first two legs of the trip, but was told to see a gate agent in Amsterdam for the boarding pass for that flight. It turns out that there was a problem, attributed by one of the KLM staff that I talked with to "a communication problem between Delta and KLM." As a result, I was finally given a stand-by boarding pass. Since the flight was full, I was denied boarding. After hours of trying to figure this out, the KLM staff put me on a flight for the next day and organized a stay at an airport hotel. The KLM staff were very nice, but it seemed to take a very long time to figure this out. They also failed to note that the denial of boarding in the records, which caused a problem in my return flight. The upshot: I missed a follow-on flight to Budapest and had to pay a huge rebooking fee for that missed flight. I also missed a day of my vacation."

We asked the attendant at the gate desk if there was any chance that the rest of us on standby could be seated together... HE UPGRADED OUR WHOLE GROUP TO COMFORT and allowed us to all sit with each other. Greatest flight experience I've had and such great staff with Delta. Will fly Delta going forward whenever I have a a chance (flew Southwest the rest of our trip - service, cleanliness, friendliness didn't compare)."

Kayak put us on different planes at different times on our return flight back to the USA. I had assumed we were flying together ( sisters with the same last names), so I showed up at the airport to find out that I had missed my first flight. I already had a boarding pass for the next flight, but Kayak had canceled me and booked someone else in my seat. No more seats in economy and I had to pay $1750. Euros for another ticket. Why would 2 passengers flying together and booking together be put on different planes and different times. We will NEVER use Kayak again!7"

Cons: "1 person working the service desk. I had a question about our connecting flight from Frankfurt and I was told to call the 1-800 number. When I went to check my bag the woman was very rude and asked me "why do I think I can check two bags?" and questioned my Star Alliance premium silver status, demanding I show her my card (I have no card). My friend was flying with me and she was told that her carry on, mind you had flown to and within europe, was too big for the overhead storage and she had to pay 90 euros to check it and the woman held her boarding pass and wouldn't give it to her. we waited in line at the service desk for over 40 minutes so that she could pay. We arrived to the airport 2.5 hours early to eat and shop for souvenirs. We barely made it in time to get to our gate because of the inefficiencies of Lufthansa. 1 person working a service desk for a large airport is unacceptable, especially when they are 8-10 waiting to scan your baggage and not helping out at all. I had a wonderful flight to Europe on Lufthansa and was absolutely appalled at the attitudes of the airport staff and their lack of customer service."

I looked at my reservation from Vaysms and did not see notice of this. Surprised that one hour trip at this price , well over $200, was in this category. Also trying to buy the option for the bag on phone was difficult. Whole page with options would not show and getting English version was difficult probably because page would not fit on screen."

Since we were connecting to an International flight to return to the US there was no possibility we would be able to get to the International terminal through security and board our flight in the time available. So, Lufthansa staff met the connecting passengers as we disembarked, shuttled us via bus to the International terminal and ensured we made our connection. Finally, for airline food it was quite good (Vegan)."

Cons: "Entertainment screen did not work; in neighboring seat it could not be switched off when we wanted to sleep; sourly employees everywhere (re-booking counter an exception); food close not being edible and cold; I forgot my watch on when going through security in the Air France terminal; when I started to say "sorry" I was yelled at by the screener who said that she will do the talking; she sent me back through the scanner twice without my watch, then once more with the carry-on and made sure that I went to the end of a very long line to wait for another screening rather than having me just go through the scanner without my watch. Needless to say, there was nothing else suspicious about me once the watch was removed. Eager to exercise her power, the security person did not seem to consider that she slowed down a long line of people waiting to be screened. I should add that I am 73 yrs old grey haired female who has traveled a lot both for pleasure and business during my entire life, often to some difficult places and that I do not argue with or provoke those in power in a situation like this. The yelling and the sending me repeatedly through the scanner, which did not beep once the watch was removed, was beyond anything I had experienced anywhere else. The sending me to the very end of the line seemed outright spiteful. (I did miss the plane connection.)"

But it was a 10 hour flight; that's a long time to sit with moving. There are also tiny corners to stand and stretch our legs but we seemed to be in the airline attendants' way- although they never said anything."

At no time did BA or Kayak let us know this information but had no problem selling us this ticket. We were literally extorted for another $1000.00 so she could depart. Shameful! Even more shocking, the service people told use that our entire itinerary (AKA our return flight) was cancelled as a result of this. You can imagine our frustration as we had tickets in hand looking at the door to the plane that we would have been allowed to walk through had security taken 5 minutes less. In the states, if airport security is holding you from missing your flight, this is communicated with the airline and proper arrangements are made. Unfortunately, this was not the case, forcing us to buy a new (last minute) ticket and losing a lot of money."

We stood for TWO HOURS to be reassigned with only 2 agents helping a whole plane full of people. Of course, we missed the last flight out that could have connected us. We were told to go to an agent when we got to London to get a hotel room and they would have us all sorted. They did not have us all sorted and that took another half hour. We were at the airport in Schipol for SEVEN hours [and two trips through passport control] before our rescheduled flight to London boarded. When we landed in London, we had to go to the arrivals desk for them to be informed that we needed a hotel. We were able to sleep about 3 hours and had to get back to the airport for an early morning flight. Everyone we dealt with was kind and respectful, but the Airline itself was ill-prepared to handle this cancellation. In addition, they said they would not re-book at the gate, but those who were angry and aggressive were able to do so and get out on the day we were supposed to. Pretty crummy end to a trip."

This was 1 of the 2 worst flights that I have ever been on, only second to my other booked flight for this trip home. This flight was 7+ hours long and it was nothing short of horrible. The seats were extremely uncomfortable and barely went back at all. The male flight attendant was clearly annoyed and was short with every person who would ask for anything. He would roll his eyes at every request by customers. At one point I saw him literally toss a sandwich into a customers lap because they were turned the other way and didn't hear him when he asked if they wanted one. There was no way to watch anything unless you had your own device and had downloaded it yourself prior to the flight."
Cons: "we're professional musicians who fly all the time with fragile equipment. the airline applied an overweight baggage fee (fair enough, normally) but their payment system was down. rather than waive the fee, we were made to wait an hour to pay 150 euros. after scrambling through security we narrowly missed our flight. rebooking took hours and involved going back through security all over again, having our equipment searched for the second time. when it came time to gate-check our guitars, the airline lost them. we wound up boarding our connection to JFK with no idea where they were. finally they turned up on the baggage belt. we would never and have never agreed to send these delicate items through general baggage. One guitar (50 year old gintage guitar) was broken in the process and another of our hard cases was damaged and needs to be replaced. Completely unacceptable from start to finish."

We rode in Business class which allowed for priority boarding and comfortable seating. Flying across the Atlantic from Lisbon to San Francisco, I found the configuration and comfort of the seats lacking. The USB and earphone outlets were in a very awkward position, right under your knees and hard to find without a flashlight. Once in the seat, it was awkward to get out. The cabin crew was very pleasant and the food was okay. For the price I thought it was a good deal over all.
