Pros: There was only one flight attendant but he was very friendly and worked very hard

Cons: The checkin process is awful if you fly basic economy. This is the second time I have flown basic economy on United and you have to wait in line for 20 minutes to get a boarding pass and then have someone inspect the size of your personal item. You cannot check in and get a boarding pass online.

Pros: The crew was very nice and I appreciated the entertainment options

Cons: I have a receipt showing Austrian airlines, was unable to check in online, so I waited in a very long line to get to the Austrian counter only to be told that my flight was actually a United flight and I would need to go wait in that long line for my ticket.

Cons: A 20 minute flight was delayed for 2.5 hrs. United did a terrible job with notifying passengers, just simply bumped out departure in 15 min increments. Original excuse was inbound delay, although plane was there for 6 hrs already. Passenger soiled himself in cabin and there was no ventilation.

Cons: A mechanic issue with a fan in the cargo hold kept us from boarding for 40 minutes. Once we boarded and got out onto the tarmack they discovered an issue with the GPS. We sat for 2 hours before going back to the gate. Maintenance came on and fixed it. Then we took off.. 3 hours late

Cons: The communication on the actual flight could have been better. The flight from Houston to Charlotte was not very informative as in weather conditions, traffic, or the time in which we landed was not gone over.
