Cons: "I forgot to the flight attendant’s name but she was quite rude. I traveled with an infant who required warming up of her milk in a bottle and I would ask for hot water and she failed to bring it over. I requested hot water twice. Initially when the plane was taking off- she stated she cannot bring anything while the flight was taking off but even after take off and in cruising altitudes she did not come over until we rang the call bell and another flight attendant came over. Second time mid flight we happen to ask the same flight attendant for hot water as she passed by— she nodded her head but again never returned with the hot water. Again I hit the call button and another attendant came over and gave me water. I felt that she did not like attending to the flight guests and always seemed to give an attitude. I understand traveling with a child may be hard for others, but imagine the parents who have to care for a starving baby. The flight was also a bit too warm."

There was a lot of turbulence and because of the visible bad conditions of the plane we heard noises from the fuselage that were not normal. We feared for our lives... when in the way for landing we were loosing altitud softly, as it should, but there was a moment that the pilot pushed SUDENLY up again in a very hard way, after a few minutes he said it was to allow more time between planes, and that we will do one more tour that will take 10 more minutes. When we finally landed people were clapping, we also clapped celebrating we were alive. I think, if Jet Blue doesn’t replace or at least FIX this kind of rusty planes, I’m done with this company. It was a couple of dollars cheaper, but, my life is worth more than this."

That said, if someone can’t put the armrest down I think the airline should require them to purchase both seats as it’s very uncomfortable to be in the position of having no seat for the entire ride. I’m an average sized person so it was a challenge but even tiny people deserve the full seat they purchased. There really should be a rule or something."

Cons: "This was the most unnerving, uncomfortable flight I have ever been on. I really do love Jetblue and I know that this particular flight doesn't define you. That being said I was sorry to have to have experienced this. Even sitting on the runway before taking off the ride was uncomfortable as we swerved our way to the take off position. The weather was nice and it felt so strange that were going back and forth as if the path was filled with sharp S-curves. Then the entire flight was bumpy as we went up and down and all around. I would say there was about 20 mins of smooth air the entire flight. Then there was the last 90 minutes which was absolutely terrifying. I know that the turbulence can't be helped but I do feel the Flight attendants were not very accommodating during it. I sat near the back and they just sat there and chit chatted about something they were meeting up to do later while people were up and about when the seat belt sign was on. Then there was a baby screaming for many hours and they never tried at all to help the parents or anything calm them. They mostly just sat in the back, complained it was bumpy and laughed about how people were agitated because of it. I found it to be so much more frustrating that in addition to the bumpy air, crying baby and passengers just roaming around we also had to deal with the attendants laughing about how uncomfortable we were. It was not what I have ever experienced before and I truly hope I never have to experience again on JetBlue."

Cons: "I never got the opportunity to fly because I was stuck in unusual traffic in a tunnel for over an hour just minutes from the Boston airport. I was later told there was a fire. I called the 1-800-JETBLUE number and I explained that the situation. The agent said that there would be a $75 change fee and at 4:47 pm there were no more flights out that night and that I would also be charged the fare differential the following day. I quickly went on line and found a deep discounted fare on United for $56! When I got to the airport there were several other people with the same situation. Not a enough agents on staff and no concern that I might miss my new flight on United. Thank Gid I acted fast and got another flight that evening or I would have needed to spend the night in the airport like a woman and her mother traveling to San Jose! Need more professionalism !"

Cons: "My plane boarded 20 minutes late. Jetblue forgot to de-ice the plane so we missed our takeoff spot and left an hour and a half late. We arrived in SLC over 2 hours late, and then proceeded to wait 20 minutes for an open gate. The entire flight I was seated next to an elderely couple that were making out literally on top of me. When placing my overhead bag, one of the straps were caught in the lock mechanism. Instead of the flight attendant moving my strap and closing the bin, she gave me attitude and told me to fix it myself. 2 hours into the flight i wished to sleep, but my television display was broken. As a result, the brightness of the screen was on the max setting the entire trip. The last two hours of my flight I spent dealing with a headache because the rest of the plane was dark, and the display was half a foot from my face. To top off my horrible experience, the row across from me, and the row in front of me, had a screaming infant which wailed the entire flight long. I will never fly with Jetblue again, and will advise anyone considering it to pick a different airline."

Then they kept switching the time we were going to take off later and later then earlier then later and later. It would’ve been nice if we got an updated time that we were going to leave- just say come back in six hours rather than make us get up and get down, board the plane, then get off. and get up again then change gates I could not get any work done. I understand that sometimes schedule can be unpredictable but this was ridiculous. One plane that was supposed to leave after us actually left before us and people were getting upset"
Pros: "I didn't like much of anything EXCEPT THE FREE WIFI. While it's nice to have all the bells and whistles (free in flight TV/movies, snacks/beverages, etc.), the basics need to be met too - which they weren't."
Cons: "I didn't like that the plane was delayed 1.5 hours for no good reason. Why have us sit on the plane in a cramped atmosphere instead of delaying it at the gate first until your ducks are in a row? Then the in-flight entertainment audio periodically cuts out, and they were resetting the TV system over 3 times. In addition, I had requested a price reduction when I booked the flight since JetBlue's website is buggy and the price went up $80 in front of my eyes while other people booked the seat I wanted, and they weren't willing to give me anything."
Cons: "It was just a mechanical issue that forced our plane to turn around 2 hours already into the flight, return to JFK, and then wait another two hours to board a new flight to go to PHX. So a planned 10 pm arrival in PHX turned into 6 am. I'm not sure there's anything that could have been done other than checking for that situation before we departed originally (if possible), and maybe being able to land somewhere closer than having to return all the way to JFK. I know JetBlue doesn't have a ton of locations or planes yet, so our options may have been limited. We did receive a $100 credit, but it was a pretty painful flight, basically turning into a red eye after departing originally at 6 pm. Again, I'm not sure if there were any other options, just wanted to report my experience. My flights have typically been on time with JetBlue and I am a Mosaic member. It may have helped if there was better communication back at the JFK airport (knowing it would be two hours instead of thinking we were getting right back on the plane), maybe we could have relaxed in a restaurant or something. It was just exhausting waiting and getting later and later. There isn't an Admirals Club or anywhere relaxing for passengers to wait in a circumstance like that. Thanks."

Cons: "Normally I don’t complain, but from the jump this flight was a nightmare. I fly JB all the time but this time was not nearly as enjoyable. I asked my attendant 2 times to buy headphones. She never brought them and maybe she forgot but She sat in the front on her phone the whole flight which was just irritating. After being delayed (for no apparent reason) Then having to sit for 20+ minutes because of a “jet bridge that’s too cold” (aren’t these made for the out doors?) this JB flight was less than satisfactory."

Cons: "I didn’t like that yet again, my flight (to PBI) was delayed for hours and then upon boarding and making it to the runway, was told that I would be getting back off the plane because we no longer had pilots. I think its good that there is a limit for the amount of hours pilots can fly but to leave an entire plane, the last flight out in particular, to have to wait an additional 2 hours to wait for new pilots is a little ridiculous to me. On top of that, I decide that I would rather go get a hotel than wait to fly out at 1am in the morning, I come to find that I will have to leave my checked bag on the plane and go to my hotel, in Boston, in 17° weather, without a coat or my toiletries, my phone charger....everything I would have needed went to PBI without me. Needless to say, this was by far my worst experience flying Jetblue. And to top it off, this was the second time this trip (flying out of PBI to Boston earlier left me delayed for 5 hours) that I felt like what I enjoy about Jetblue was not at all what I receieved. I understand that the holidays are a challeging and busy time for airlines, but it feels like PBi flights are by far the worst and that for some reason, Jetblue flights for PBI to Boston, and Boston to PBI are nightmares. Very disappointed."

Cons: "I came 40min prior to my flight and found out that it was too late to check in my bag. I rescheduled my flight for $50 fee to make sure I get in in time for my meeting. When I went inside, I found out that my original flight got delayed and was leaving only 15min earlier than my new flight, which then got delayed for another 45min...disaster. Essentially, I paid extra $50 for nothing. In fact, I would have been on my original flight and gotten to my meeting in time had they not had you are on your own attittude toward customers."

I worried the whole time I was not going to make it since it said doors close at 2:04 and we landed at 1:55 or something close to that. When I got off the plane the gate agent told me AerLingus does theirs differently - that meant that is when they started boarding. It would have relieved a lot of stress if they had explained that. Also, our luggage didn't make it on the flight. Said it was stuck in customs since it did not have enough time. Understandable, but why didn't someone from JetBlue come out and get us instead of making us wait at the luggage terminal for 30 minutes before we went and checked. Also, they told me on the phone that my luggage would arrive at 7 and it came at 4 - luckily I was home. What would have happened if I was not?"
"This was the Delta Shuttle flight (operated by Republic Airways (therefore not a mainline flight)). The crew was exceptional in expediting boarding, accommodating customers, and politely dealing with “difficult” passengers (don’t be that passenger - it’s a 40 minute flight). Great flight overall."
"No seat assignment. Was put in the absolute last seat in the plane. Flight was delayed because of an electrical issue which also broke the AC until we were taxi-ing. It was hot."

Pros: "Got to London on-time (early, actually) and safely. The in flight meal was okay. The leg room in comfort plus was great, the mobile app was awesome, and the staff (check-in, gate, cabin and flight deck) were professional and friendly all around."
Cons: "The leg room was great, but as a broad-shouldered guy, the width of the seat was miserable. Unfortunately, the Delta 767 doesn't offer any upgrade for a wider seat beyond Delta One, and my employer won't spring for that. Too bad there isn't a premium economy option. Also, the entertainment unit in the seat next to mine malfunctioned, which you wouldn't think would impact me that much except that because it was "seeing" touches randomly throughout the flight, the screen would turn on, off, brighter, dimmer, play random stuff, and just generally be as annoying as possible to everyone nearby throughout an overnight flight."

Cons: "Tray table was broken, I was downgraded from Comfort plus to main cabin after a plane swap with no mention by anyone and no compensation. Flight was delayed 45 minutes because a flight attendant was running late and then to top it off, at the end of. The flight the attendants blocked anyone fromaim cabin from leaving until all of first class had departed, even when no one was coming they still Blocked it off. This is a practice I have never seen on delta and haven't seen in aviation in almost 20 years in the US"

We paid extra for the convenience of a direct flight Our flight was changed without notification to a connecting flight that was leaving 10 minutes earlier and arriving 2 hours later. Due to malfunction with the kiosk and not a sufficient amount of agents at check in, we missed our flight by 4 minutes. The gate agent seemed to enjoy telling us, with our 10 month old baby, that we were too late. Our baggage, including car seat, had been loaded on the plane. We were reassigned to a flight the following morning. We missed a full day with family, had to travel back home without a car seat and return to the airport the following day. I was shocked and disappointed that not single Delta agent was accommodating or remotely helpful while we were at the airport. I've never had a problem with Delta before. We travel on regularly and would like to continue using Delta. I would like a voucher for my next Delta trip."

We were told that in Europe passports cannot expire within 3 months of your departure. However, Delta never let us know about this rule until we literally were boarding the plane. How they could not make us aware of this until we were boarding the airplane is unbelievable and unacceptable. This has ruined our vacation which has been in planning for the last six months."

The seats seemed comfortable at first, but actually hurt my tailbone pretty quickly, while the 17 hour flight we took next did not. Tray tables are the folding kind and a bit awkward. We were in the last row by the bathrooms and our seats didn't recline at all. You had to pay for any kind of snacks other than a little bag of pretzels and a package of cookies. We were in one of the last two boarding sections, and the woman letting us on the plane tried to make us check out carry-on luggage, stating that the overhead bins were full. Well, we didn't want to be without our bags for the next 24 hours, so we argued and she let us "try" to bring them on. There was PLENTY of room back there! It's just the standard line they feed, apparently, so beware if you're sitting in the back of the plane!"

Cons: "This was a plane with central screens along the aisle, and the airline chose to broadcast a sci-fi action movie with almost constant flashing blue light, and violent action scenes. This was first of all a movie that many people, including me, would never choose to watch, but since it was on the aisle screens there was no getting away from it. It was also unsuitable for children, even without sound. But mainly, I object to the showing of any film in that situation - only aisle screens available, and on a night flight where most of the passengers are trying to sleep. I was awakened several times by the flashing lights. Other things: one of the bathrooms was not very clean, and the plane felt like the usual cattlecar, with just 3 seats on each side of the aisle, which is unusual and unpleasant for a transatlantic flight."

THEN my trip from Boston home were delayed so they switched me to another flight and then THAT one was delayed twice so I actually got home later than if I had taken the original flight! Overall the flights really sucked!!"

Cons: "From the get go it was an awful experience ... I travel with an emotional support animal as does my husband because we don't do well with flying. I have anxiety to the max about it & my husband gets ulcerative colitis flare ups any time he's stressed out which is usually while we fly and having our dogs with us turkey makes us feel better. When I called to tell them over the phone we would have our emotional support animal I got an attitude as if I hadn't been doing this for the last 4 years. She reiterated to me that we needed in addition to the letterhead from the doctor a form filled out (which we both did ) . Brought to the airport and sit had to sit at the counter like the girl didn't know what she was doing. Fast forward to finally getting to the gate after being stressed and our flight was delayed. This now only made our 50 min layover in DC 20 min by the time we landed. We ran from one gate to the next hoping we wouldn't miss our flight and when we got there they wouldn't let us on the plane saying things like "your dogs are not on this flight" "there is no documentation" "well then you must not have the right paperwork" ... in front of a bunch of people in line, out of breath, and now embarrassed I am forced to take out my folder and give them all the paperwork I had just given to the customer service desk before our first flight. They let everyone on the plane and still made us stand there and finally said "just go but your dogs aren't on this flight". Fast forward AGAIN to sitting on the flight the flight attendant comes over and says "guys where's you carrier the dogs need to be under the seats" .. we peoceeded again to explain for the seventh time that they were emotional support animals ... she then proceeded "no they are not they are not even listed on this flight" at this point I'm EXTREMLY embarrassed because people on the plane are paying attention and drawing attention to us but not only that ... I have been doing this for years .. I ALWAYS have the proper documentation as does my husband and we have never ran into this kind of disappointment and embarrassment from any airline until now. I was so stressed out to begin with and this deffinately didn't help ... nor did it make us wants to fly on American again. I felt pushed aside, embarrassed, and belittled by multiples employees ... all because the first employee clearly made a mistake and didn't document things correctly ... that should have never been put on us ."

In this flight from Boston to LAX - I heard there were 80 Priority checking - are you kidding me. Group 1 does not help if I have 80 Priority seating and one family took 12 people in with one elderly. It's good to place Elderly and Military up front first - but to take the Whole entire family - that's not fair - you have 8 able bodies who should be in line with the rest of the crowd. Also who heard of 80 Priority check ins - normally, that's Group 1. Never flying AA unless I a desperate."

Cons: "I paid $100 for an upgrade on a United which turned out to be the first row, and right beside the rest room (which was erroneously showing as occupied for the first 20 minutes). The traffic made it feel like I was sitting on a bench in Grand Central Station. I chose an aisle seat but ended up mysteriously in the middle seat. I had extra leg room but if I’d eaten the free 5 pretzels I wouldn’t have been able to fit it my seat any longer. The WiFi wasn’t working for the first hour of the flight. The flight attendant got really annoyed when we didn’t look up when he came by with beverages the first time. We all had headphones on and were looking at our personal screens. The activity by the rest room was constant so we didn’t notice it wasn’t just someone waiting for the loo. The luggage took so long to come out I thought my conference would be over before I got it. Overall, I thought it was bad and confirmed why I don’t fly United. Old, dingy planes, poor service. The pilot was pleasant and communicative so there was at least that..."

Also the inflight entertainment was down. 4.5 hr flight and you had to pay for wifi if you didn't bring a book. 2 young kids , one phone and a long flight means unhappy customers."

Since our connection to Portland in Denver was the last flight of the night, they were able to hold it for us. This was wonderful because there weren’t many flights out that weren’t booked solid for the next day. The attendants on this flight were great about updating us with information for the connections and telling us when we would land in Denver."

I was bringing my parents lobster from Maine, and I ended up having to check my box of lobster. I have a United Explorer card and a Chase Sapphire Preferred card and I was juggling my luggage and had to sit my money clip wallet on the counter. Since I had cash in my wallet, the customer service rep abruptly told me, “we don’t accept cash.” I have been flying for most of my life and I know that you have to pay for baggage fees with a credit card. This interaction was disappointing to say the least."

High price ticket, then 25$ to check a bag, they give you direct tv as a preview and then make you pay to watch TV, pay for internet, want something other then pretzels, you have to pay for that too. Next up you will charge for our air conditioners to work which by the way they didn't. I have never been so uncomfortable on a flight in my life. Couldn't even bend down to get something under my seat because of the lack of space between rows. Also the air conditioner was extremely warm and the pressure of the air did not reach the seat. I was sticking to the chair because it was so warm. It just sucks that air travel has gone the way of every other industry that values quantity over quality."

For most short haul flights, this is not a big deal, but it really makes for an unpleasant journey on the cross-country flights. Also, the four-seat middle section is so poorly designed. There is no way to store personal items under seats without invading the space of your neighbor because the metal frame supporting the row of seats doesn't match with the seats themselves. 2. Entertainment: United could not support continuous streaming of movies/TV shows for every passenger. My movie paused and froze so frequently that I gave up on finishing it and then felt like I had wasted my time. The speed and reliability reminded me of trying to watch movies on a dialup connection. It would be so much better to just have the TV screens built into the seats. All in all, United got a bad batch of planes and should try to take this into consideration when working with Boeing/Airbus on the next order."

I liked United. Too bad about the incident I read about. I was on a flight with no available seats to LA and thought someone had taken my seat. Turns out I was reading it wirong on my phone abd the last seat available was actually mine."

I had to beg the flight attendant to get me a wine because I was asleep when they came by and missed them by not even a half hour... She acted like it was so hard and it took asking 4 times and finally just asking another person. I was so annoyed. They also have shitty food selections per usual. Who chooses those snack items?! They clearly have no taste. I was miserable the whole flight. I usually am not a miserable traveler so this isn't just me being negative, I seriously may write one review every few months, only if something is really good or really bad. There is no power at the seats. The plane is old and seats were very uncomfortable. Yeah, this was the worst flight."

I understand that the FAA levies heavy fines on planes every minute that they are late. If so, how does it explain the delay in Boston of almost an hour? Needless to say, I was NOT happy."
Pros: "Zero leg room! That actually was surprising as most other airlines have a lot more legroom. In flight entertainment was also lacking. Doesn't make sense to pay $7.99 for a 2.5hr flight. A lot of other airlines offer some sort of complimentary in flight entertainment. Also the luggage didn't start coming out for at least 30 mins of waiting at baggage claim. Not the worst experience I've had flying but far from being a good experience. It probably isn't worth flying united unless it's 1st class. But even they had to wait 30+mins for luggage!"

Also the leg room was a joke. We barely had any room to move. I probably won't fly coach on united again due to the bad taste it left in my mouth. Unfortunate because it's hub is in chicago."

Cons: "There was some sort of mix up with seat assignments two guys had the same seat assignment. The very nice gentleman who was sitting in my seat due this stood and allowed me to have my seat as it was on the isle and I was in boarding group 5 and my seat was all the way at the end by the bathrooms and needed to be able to stretch my legs into the isle. There was absolutely no leg room what so ever. The dude next to me spent the entire trip jabbing me in the side with his elbow so that he could access what little space I did have. I was unable to move my legs because every two seconds the entire plane was trekking to the back to use the bathroom, because while there was a third bathroom on the plane towards the front, for whatever reason nobody seemed to be using it."

Cons: "Because United scheduled flights without regard to airport Construction in Boston my flight was changed 3 times and I still missed my connecting flight. After I missed my flight, they refused to schedule me on the next available flight even though people behind me were scheduled because they were preferred customers. They refused to pay for my hotel and the customer service was rude arrogant and dismissive. I will absolutely never fly United again. The crew on the Boston flight to Newark was lovely everything beyond that was absolutely abhorrent. We got to our connecting flight exactly as boarding closed and they refused to let 11 people board. And subsequently, United staff was rude to us saying it wasn't their fault."

Not quite sure how both myself and my partner didn't end up seated together, and both ended up in a middle seat sandwiched between 2 overweight people... Are you little people profiling to break up the overwhelming number of big people? another couple with 2 kids were also broken up into distant areas on the plane. I know everyone complains about so many things, and this wasn't the end of the world, but still, it's not ideal. The seating/etc seemed more disorganized than usual for this flight."

Then we are told there are mechanical issues and it won't b long before we leave... Half hrs goes by and they tell us it will be longer so for us to exit the plane.... Which turned into a 45min wait to finally tell us that we were waiting now on a new pilot to fly in from where ever he was to finally take over our flight , which didn't leave ORD till 1230.... Which was supposed to had left ORD at 930.... We finally get to PHX at 130 a.m. When were supposed to originally land n PHX at 930 mountain time! After all of this confusion and just bad manangement of time... We didn't get any apologies any kinda of compensation for time lost... Just a have a gud day! I'm pissed will Never fly with United Airlines and will tell others to also not fly United!"

Customer service does not give you the option to speak to representatives. The phone system just loops around with out giving any options for to speak to a person. After I was on the phone with an agent he told me my money would be refunded. I have been charged two flights and I'm still sitting at home."
Cons: "Kayak did not confirm my seat. Was not able to get a flight. Called customer service and they told me to rebook. My card was charged twice. The airplane had faulted hardware. Waited in line for 2 hours to get a different flight. All flights to Phoenix were full. Didn't make the standby list. Couldn't make the rebook flight. Worst day ever Now, No one can give me a refund. mind you I took a day off from work this was a last minute. The reason this trip was so important to me is because my grandma is in the ICU. I hardly ever complain about any customer service experience. Overall to get a hold of customer service is awful. Now I have to spend more money and I have to drive 12hours."

Cons: "The boarding process was confusing. I was issued a boarding pass with "see agent" instead of a seat assignment listed. When I saw the United agent at the gate I was told "don't worry we'll find you a seat." I was confused because I felt that I was treated as if I was flying stand by when in reality I booked my ticket in advance. Everything worked out in the end--I was one of the last on the plane but I got a seat and had no issues with finding a place for my carry-on--however, I prefer having an assigned seat to avoid the anxiety of not knowing what is going on during the boarding process."
Cons: "Hour delay that made me miss my connecting flight. Customer service agent, Theresa, at the United gate was more interested in checking her cell phone text messages & handing out $10 food vouchers than the long of people who have conflicts with connecting flights or missing events in the destination they were flying to. Every minute lost could prevent customers from obtaining another immediate or comparable flight to their destination. Customer service agent sent those who were going to have problems with their connecting flights to the United Airlines service desk, of which, there were no customer service agents at any of the four available stations. I waited 10 minutes for an agent & no one arrived. When I went back to the original line I was standing in, I was forced to go to the back of the line rather than the place I was originally standing. Therefore I waited in line an additional 20-30 minutes. Once I was served they did not have any more seats available on direct flights to Melbourne. They wanted me to fly to NY, then Sydney & then Melbourne. Additionally the customer service agent did not seem confident this flight was not going to have any hiccups. Worst of all, I had been planning this trip for months & it was ruined by United Airlines."
Pros: "Boarding started early and went very quickly. Seats were new and a leather type material , which is an improvement from old fabric seats. Nice headrests you could bend to support your head. Loved the new United app I downloaded for free which allowed me to watch movies and tv shows on my phone. We arrived at our destination 30 minutes early, which was a plus. Staff was friendly and helpful."

Cons: "Boarding was a mess with an adjacent gate exiting at the time of boarding creating a melee of people crossing queues. You have a carry-on baggage policy - stick to it. I wasn't carrying any roll-ons or large items but many of my fellow passengers were carrying multiple items in the hope of either getting them on or having them checked for free. Complete shambles with later boarders running up and down the aisle trying to fit their carry-ons into overhead lockers. Solution: Enforce one item only; Apply free checked items at the gate early. Apply a fee for items that don't fit and were not offered up for checking."

Then as the seatbelt sign was off she was blocking the aisle with the trolley. When I asked kindly to make room, she didn’t even acknowledge that she heard my request... she did, eventually, without even looking at me. Also very slow to get the stroller and a bit slow to get the baggage but these latter issues may be airport dependent."

Pros: "This was my first trip on Frontier in many years, and I've heard a number of complaints as they've become more value oriented. I generally don't travel with the "value" airlines so as to avoid the hassle of paying for all of the add-ons that were once just a part of the flight. In this case, my expectations weren't high, and we chose this flight primarily for the timing out of Denver (i.e. it was not a red-eye flight). We paid for the "perks" bundle ahead of time. We were checking bags, and I'd definitely recommend that route to select one of the roomier seats and to have the carry-on included. Ultimately, the price ended up being slightly less expensive than our other airline options for this trip. I have no complaints about the staff at check-in in Denver or on the flight. Everyone was nice and the entire process went smoothly with the exception of having to put my carry-on many rows behind me in order to find overhead space. (It feels like more a slight because you have to pay for that "privilege" to begin with.) The roomier seats were a good choice. I don't think any seats recline, but they were fairly comfortable. For some, perhaps that's a perk because you don't need to worry about the person in front of you leaning all the way back."
Cons: "You need to pay for a standard/regular beverage and a snack, and at $2.99 per can of soda that's pretty steep. If you purchase an "adult beverage" you get a discount on the mixer, but it still adds up. Snacks are similarly priced. I don't use the in-flight entertainment very often, but I did not notice this option being offered (e.g. via WiFi to your phone or tablet) so bring something to keep yourself occupied. The slim line seat was fairly comfortable for me (about 5'-7", 150 lbs.). I don't mind the firmer feel to the seats, but the seats not reclining may be an issue for some. The crew could control the location of overhead items a bit better especially since you're paying for them to be on board."

Could have gone with a better airline for comparable price."

Then there is the flight crew, through the flight all I could hear is the flight crew talking about how they are on a waiting list and something about becoming a full attendant and every other word was accompanied by a bad word. I would file for a refund if I thought that would get me anywhere. Sorry Kayak I like you but from now on I'll be going direct to American Airlines. By the way! The CEO of Frontier is the former CEO of spirit...That alone should tell you stay AWAY."
Cons: "Airplane is new but chairs are made of plastic and very thin, they don't recline and you have very small space -- very uncomfortable. I flew from Miami to Vegas (5 hours) The plane flew at low altitude the entire way and went right through all storms just to save fuel/money. People were afraid for their lives because the plane was shaking so bad. I travel 1-2 weeks out of each month by plane for work and I am not afraid, I knew it was fine, but others had no idea and were very afraid. I know it is a cheap airline, but the real problem I had with them was they are not honest. Their website says that if you chose your seat online you have to pay, but if you do at check in it is free and they will try to keep your party together as long as there's seats available. Upon arriving at the counter they wanted to charge me to keep me and my fiancée together, otherwise she was at the front of the plane and I was all the way at the back. The plane had extra seats and we got there early to get assigned seats together but even the manager would not help me even after showing their website. He said the computer will make them charge me and there was no way around it. There's always a way around it. At the end of the day, paying for seats, all bags you check in or carry on, foods/drinks in the plane, I paid just as much as flying with a good airline such as Delta. I will never fly with them again, that is for sure."
Cons: "I've traveled consistently between 4-6 times a year for the last 15 years and this was my first trip with Frontier. It was by far the worst travel experience of my life. One of the passengers was so drunk that she threw up all over the gate agent's podium, and this passenger was still allowed on the plane. When we boarded, we had to circumvent the vomit because it hadn't been cleaned up yet. There were multiple passengers on board who brought their own alcohol, were noticeably drunk and extremely loud. I understand that this is not your crew's fault, but there was a complete lack of understanding as to how to handle the situation. The pilot scorned passengers as a whole, and noted that if people didn't calm down, he would force a landing in North Carolina. The responsible passengers such as myself not only had to tolerate the debauchery, but also felt like we would be potentially be punished for other people's bad behavior. The flight crew seemed to have no idea how to handle this situation. I don't understand why is passenger are blatantly breaking federal regulations, the crew would not do anything about it. When I attempted to check in online, literally ever seat (including middle seats, back row) had an up-charge which is simply ridiculous. the seats were small and very uncomfortable. I will never fly Frontier again. I'd pay double for a flight with another company just to avoid them."

I booked/found flight on kayak app. I would suggest kayak remove them, experience was so bad that negatively effects kayaks reputation too. Also, every other airline provides complementary beverages and snacks, NOT Frontier. Also free bag check? Nope frontier charges everything! Even a carry-on which is free everywhere else. Absurd, truly worst flying experience EVER!"

The looks on their faces for having to pay for both types of bags was priceless. I mentioned the cheaper check-bag fee at the counter and she said, "Oh, but you said it was carry-on". It just felt scammy. Easy-Jet has been a discount airline for ages and they give you all the options up front so you know what you're getting into. They practically charge you for toilet paper but there are no surprises. Add the extra aggravation of LaGuardia's third world style and you end up with a frustrating day for avoidable reasons."

Cons: "There is a lot to complain about with this airline. I cannot comment on the comfort, food not entertainment because I missed my flight. Granted the flight missing was not the fault of the airline however I would have imagined that the staff would have told me in no way would I make my flight with the security lines the way they were. Once we made it through we ran the entire length of the airport to try and make the flight in hopes that they might delay the plane. That's is not the whole complaint because it happens. However; my bags flew with the flight I missed. The ticket agent assured us the bags would get to the destination and I could pick them once I arrived on the later flight (through a different airline). When I arrived NO employees where to be found. The "helpline" not helpful not even to tell me if the bags were there and lock and I could get them in the morning. Instead I was talk to condescending and rude, thanks to Kim in Colorado. I stayed the night over since my home is 3 hours from the airport. Next morning at 8:30 I call to speak to someone, helpline again unhelpful. Could not tell me when someone would be there or anything about my bags. I show up the airport. No staff. I waited for an hour and half for a ticket agent. Once I posted on their social media page that I was unhappy that person told me when they would be there and their hours. NOT THE HELPLINE but I already stood around picked up my bags and was out of there. I will never fly this airline. They nickel and dime you and have terrible customer service."

Next there's the issue of the flight itself which was horrible. The seats were no better than plastic folding seats you would buy at target and about as comfortable. Frontier's idea of first class is what every other airline would call coach. There is so little leg room or room in front of you that I couldn't lay my head down on the tiny little excuse for a folding tray. Additionally none of the chairs leaned back. Not that they could as you would be in the lap of the person behind you.so I had to sleep on a red eye for 4 hours sitting straight up on hard plastic, crammed into a row like sardines. I will never fly frontier again."

Cons: "I've flown frontier before and I have never had a problem. Tried to check in for our flight 30min before it took off as we were running late. The rep who was working the desk (young female, approx. 20yrs old) gave us the worst guest service I have ever received. I did not understand why we could not check in, nor attempt to board our flight, although I understood it is our fault for running late. We did not need to check any bags as we were carrying them on. The woman behind the desk only kept saying you missed your flight and was very disrespectful when our friend tried to talk to her saying "I don't know why your even trying to talk to me, I told you I am done with you." I work in the guest service industry and have never been treated or talked to with such disrespect. I would have understood if she was apologetic and explained to us WHY we could not board or make our flight, compared to being rude and rolling her eyes constantly. I will not be flying frontier again I can avoid it."
Cons: "The flight attendant was laughing during the safety speech, which was a little discomforting if you like to feel as if you may make it alive. If you like to not move your legs around or not be able to recline slightly while in an air plane, then this is your airline. The flights are cheap but they forgot to tell you they charge for one carry on! You might as well fly with a legitimate company and not end up paying the same price if not more because of all the "fine print". The saying goes "buy cheap, get cheap" but this airline is a little out of control."

Fool me once, but NEVER AGAIN."

Frontier staff should really work on better communication. They also had an elderly woman pay $60 for her carry on. They could have waived the fee, she was elderly and she stated she wasn't aware that she had to pay for her carry on. It would have been a nice gesture when the flight was delayed."

I will get my own pilot's license before I ever have to consider flying with these people again. Anyone can handle cheap travel as long as it's cheap. This is cheap travel that ends ups costing way more than American airlines or jetblue. And try putting a price on losing an entire day waiting for them to fix the plane."
