The descent to landing was to fast when near the runway, and we crashed hard like a carrier landing. I would inspect the gear and wing spats for cracks. The fuselage bowed like a banana, it was evident looking down the tube sitting the back. How about a breathalyzer or something, everybody knows the drunken pilots, the can't be fired and they know it, so it takes years to sober them up at our expense. The pilots who've been caught drinking are not trying to get better, they just whine that the others who haven't been caught yet are even worse drunks. Everybody who flys on Alaska has heard it from the same old Alaska born drunken pilots. How about less drunken bush piloting and get your drunken pilots who've been busted in the last few years to shut up and stop telling everyone that all Alaska pilots are drunks as defense of there drunkeness."

Pros: "Flew premium economy/delta comfort + and was a great flying experience. A taste of business without the $3000+ ticket price. Food was excellent, a huge step above economy. Extra comfort with wider seats. And priority boarding as well. This was more like premium economy that you get with European airlines. For long haul flights, well worth the cost. Flight was delayed 2 hours, but Delta had their own special route in Shanghai airport to bypass a lot of the crowds either transferring or checking in for fight. I wouldn’t have made my connecting flight if they hadn’t. Plus my checked bags went straight thru to my final destination in china,n instead of having to pick up and re-check them in Shanghai."

Yes we were in First Class and it was a (groan) 6:05 AM flight which meant that we were probably on time. But Delta’s 737-900 (to Atlanta) was very comfortable, the crew did everything well and the breakfast was quite good. (Make sure you try the quiche). We had the same crew on the next leg to Miam, who were surprised and gave us a warm welcome. There were only snacks in 1st for that short segment, but they were all we wanted."

Cons: "I had a reserved Comfort Class Aisle seat, purchased at time of reservation and showing as my assigned seat through printing of boarding pass. At the gate, my seat was reassigned to a middle seat. This is a huge problem for me, as my back and leg injuries require the ability to stretch and move frequently. When complaining on Delta phone lines, I was told that the seat was needed for a Diamond member and therefore was "policy" to bump. Although I eventually received some compensation for the fact I paid more for the original seat, I remain very disappointed in Delta, if this is indeed the policy."

I could have flown this trip direct on United, but chose to fly through Atlanta on Delta for less money and a better experience from the baggage check to the gate to the in-flight experience."

Cons: "flight was delayed two hours because they couldn't find a single American airlines employee to sign off on some log book.sat on tarmac two hours because no one could sign a piece of paper!!! so obviously we missed our connecting international flight to dublin. called american customer svc, they made us call british airways, british airways said we had to call kayak, kayak said we had to call American. thanks for all the great customer svc. this is why everyone hates flying and all airlines are garbage. then finally in chicago american customer svc desk said they rebooked us on a British airways flight the same night, we traversed (ran) the entire chicago ohare airport only to find out british airways said we were not on that flight, were completely full and we had to go back to american. literally had to leave airport to get on train to go back to american terminal. they swear we are now (the next day) on this aer lingus flight despite our inability since last night to try and check in to that flight because aer lingus website doesnt work, no one answers their customer service number and their ticket counter at airport doesnt open until noon. suffice it to say we are still not on a flight to Dublin, ive missed an entire day of a limited vacation, and i will NEVER fly american again."

Luckily, my flight attendant was kind enough to allow me to change seats to one in which the overhead light was actually working. Unfortunately, the plane was so busted that even though my overhead light was working, the headphone jacks in both of the seats that I had access to went off in the midst of food service, and as far as I could tell was never reset. Finally, and most appallingly, one of the flight attendants was completely out of control, and during the boarding process repeatedly and loudly scolded passengers. During service, she rammed the food cart into multiple seats so hard that food flew out of it onto the floor. Rather than apologizing to the customers whose seats she had rammed, she laughed loudly"

I finally tore a page out of the AA magazine and wedged it against the screen so I could actually sleep without it constantly blinking on and disturbing me. Next time, I'm going to smash the screen. WEBJET.COM did not put their name on the electronic ticket so I was unaware of who to contact. Finnair was not particularly helpful. They discontinued my chat conversation and didn't have an option to call back so I had to wait for 20 minutes. American Airlines was impressively helpful. They figured out that WEBJET.COM had canceled one leg of our fight and AA.com reinstated the flight. American had also contacted WEBJET.COM numerous times and WEBJET.COM had never responded."

Cons: "First, our flight was cancelled and they texted us with an alternative flight leaving a day later, with a 9 hour layover! Um, excuse me? Since this was a weekend trip we would have had to turn around and get back on a flight back to SF a few hours later. I called and they didn't even offer the option to refund the ticket! I finally got us on an alternative flight leaving earlier after waiting for 30 minutes to speak with a supervisor because the person I initially spoke with had no power to do anything to help. We ended up flying Alaska Airlines on the way there and I wish we had originally booked through them because the way back was AWFUL. They wouldn't seat my partner and I together because we were flying Economy class, which they reminded us of repeatedly when I complained. The agents claimed they had no power to do anything because of the computer system which randomly selects your seats. I asked what about people traveling with small children and they didn't seem to have an answer. Oh yeah, that's another thing. As if we got a better deal than with any other airline out there after all the bag fees. The Economy class/the majority of the people flying have no carry on allowance. By the way, when we got on the flight we were able to sit next to each other because the seats next to us weren't even occupied. Ridiculous. Never flying United again. I've been bumped off of flights and had bad experiences before but this was the last straw for me."

I guess those days are long gone. I have been in he military over 17 years and not once have I received a courtesy upgrade to 1st class and I have flew over the world. Guess it's all about the money. And have to pay for entertainment....go figure and why isn't there outlets on every seta in every row. Is that too much to ask!"

Exhausting flights both to Albuquerque from Houston and from Houston to Boston. Poor communication. Poor planning ahead. Very dissatisfied. Going with Jet Blue from now on. They never disappoint, even if there was a delay in flight."

Pros: "These days we can all admit flying is not what it used to be before 9/11. It's still professional and curtious, but the awareness and appreciation of passengers has dwindled. Stewards and stewardesses go through the motions and do just what they need to do not more. The pilots got the plane to its destination well within the time sometimes even a half an hour early. But sometimes being that early means sitting on the tarmac for 40 minutes which cut it close to missing my next flight. Flights used to offer blankets if passengers were cold. If the plane is not full they do allow passengers to move seats to be more comfortable. The complementary beverage is still always a nice touch but seconds aren't offered and cups are often taken before they're finished. It would be nice to see our country's airlines go back to a little more awareness and appreciation for one another, and work to improving their levels to above satisfactory. The flight was supposed to have entertainment viewable on personal devices but going through the app to select something was told this flight didn't have access. Overall it was satisfactory."
Cons: "It was a little too cold on the plane. Blankets weren't offered. The food while it looked delicious needed to be warmed and the only option was coffee for warming it."

Cons: "I was flying from Pittsburgh to Chicago to Fairbanks. My flight from Pittsburgh was delayed. My connecting flight from Chicago to Fairbanks was in the very next gate. But as I exited my first flight, my connecting flight pulled away from the gate. I was extremely disappointed."

I'm not overweight, (5'11", 200 lbs) people (including flight attendant kept banging into me as they went past. 1 flight attendant (middle-aged man) obnoxious. Lots of empty seats in the "economy plus" section, once flight was in motion...attendant refused to let anyone move. United obviously shortened up the leg room and space towards the back of the plane to make room for "economy plus" then just left those seats empty when passengers refused to pay the additional $170 (what obnoxious flight attendant said) to sit there. I will look for other carriers..."

Cons: "The gate changed after we checked in which was only 30 mins before. Almost missed the flight because we were waiting at the wrong gate. Earlier and accurate description of gate is what is needed. Or someone from united to visit the other gate and announce there is a change to help people out"
