USB plug did not work in-flight and it seemed super bumpy from start to finish. Not sure if it was because it was a much smaller plane, but I fly generally 2ce a week for work and this was by far the bumpiest and wobbliest(not sure if that is a word..haha) I've had this year. Also, in Albuquerque the gates shifted from what was on the boarding pass to what was in the terminal which caused some confusion. Then landing in Austin for my layover to Tampa the flight was delayed and then back on time on the in-app boarding pass, the gate changed too and when I got to the gate my flight was not posted. I thought I was going to miss my flight because it was supposed to have been boarding right then and I couldn't find the gate for my flight. Finally someone showed up to the desk and I was able to ask, and she confirmed that it was that gate and was delayed. There were several of us going to Tampa that were a bit stressed and confused. After all was said and done we were delayed about an hour, but it was the confusion that made things so much more stressful. I like to fly American quite a bit, and have a MC as well, and although there have been some delays, which I understand will happen, I haven't experienced this level of confusion.

Cons: "flight was delayed two hours because they couldn't find a single American airlines employee to sign off on some log book.sat on tarmac two hours because no one could sign a piece of paper!!! so obviously we missed our connecting international flight to dublin. called american customer svc, they made us call british airways, british airways said we had to call kayak, kayak said we had to call American. thanks for all the great customer svc. this is why everyone hates flying and all airlines are garbage. then finally in chicago american customer svc desk said they rebooked us on a British airways flight the same night, we traversed (ran) the entire chicago ohare airport only to find out british airways said we were not on that flight, were completely full and we had to go back to american. literally had to leave airport to get on train to go back to american terminal. they swear we are now (the next day) on this aer lingus flight despite our inability since last night to try and check in to that flight because aer lingus website doesnt work, no one answers their customer service number and their ticket counter at airport doesnt open until noon. suffice it to say we are still not on a flight to Dublin, ive missed an entire day of a limited vacation, and i will NEVER fly american again."

I finally tore a page out of the AA magazine and wedged it against the screen so I could actually sleep without it constantly blinking on and disturbing me. Next time, I'm going to smash the screen. Cons: "The third party agent, webjet.com, was horrible. American airlines contacted them several times about canceling the ABQ-ORD flight and they never responded. WEBJET.COM did not put their name on the electronic ticket so I was unaware of who to contact. Finnair was not particularly helpful. They discontinued my chat conversation and didn't have an option to call back so I had to wait for 20 minutes. American Airlines was impressively helpful. They figured out that WEBJET.COM had canceled one leg of our fight and AA.com reinstated the flight. American had also contacted WEBJET.COM numerous times and WEBJET.COM had never responded."

When they checked my bag they never said thank you, for us flying with frontier. When boarding, the "bad day" employee treated the customers as if they were cattle. Not one stewardess smile the entire flight. And when I asked to stretch after using the facilities only 1 time during the 4 hour flight, I was told (in a very sarcastic voice) "as long as you don't come into our area!" Followed by a faded whisper of "shiiiiiiit". All this, plus a 3 hour delay. What more could you ask for? Next time, I'll pay a little more for the customer service."

Pros: "People with carry on luggage get to board first. This enables us with such pieces to actually find room in the overhead compartments. Probably a good rate for flights less than 2 hours."
Cons: "They charge for carry on luggage. So if you check a piece, and think you can add a carry on, be aware, there is a charge. My ticket increased by $150 for these fees. Also, it is very cramped. If you are taller than 5’7”, or heavier, you will be very uncomfortable. The drop down trays fit a small paperback book. Not recommended for flights longer than 2 hours. Even when you stretch out your feet under the seat in front of you, you will hit the person’s feet in front if you. If you do not stretch forward, you will bump your neighbor. I was on a 3.5 hour flight and it was uncomfortable. I will likely not fly Frontier again."

We landed and had to sit on the plane for over 1 hour because another plane was at our gate. one hour in those uncomfortable seats. I know there were other gates that we could have gone to.....unacceptable. Won't be flying frontier ever again."
Pros: "I'll give a thumbs up to a pleasant crew each flight, however, tho both flights were nonstop, both were very late to leave and tho the pilot said he'd make up time going east, that didn't happen and no apologies/explanations. To exacerbate the length of time traveling, both flights baggage retrieval were an hour. Add to that the really ridiculous hour long wait on the runway after landing because a gate wasn't available! Overall Frontier is pretty bad-they obviously do not employ enough people nor implement plans for staying on time or at least working to minimize delays due to weather issues. I have always left late on frontier but succumbed for the last time for a cheaper priced nonstop; it was definitely not worth it. To be clear about judging the length of time: flight out was scheduled to leave 1030 mountain and arrive 400 eastern. It was 630 eastern before we had our bags. Return flight was scheduled 500 eastern departure and 600 arrival mountain. It was 1000 mountain by the time we got our bags. One last comment-there were hundreds of unclaimed bags surrounding the frontier carousel...wonder where they were actually supposed to be???"
Cons: "We did not get on the flight it was cancelled, all other airlines seemed to get in and out of Orlando to STL, but not this one. Our only option was to get a refund which comes in 7 to 10 days, and try to find another flight. The next flight fro Orlando to STL was 4 days later. We were able to get another flight on AA but we had to rent a car and then drive 3 hours to a different airport. I would avoid the provider unless you know that there is zero chance of any delays from any part of the country."

Once you add in the higher baggage fee, the seat fees (no free seats), the flight is priced the same if not higher than other airlines but the real difference is in all of this is customer service. The lead flight attendant on the my flight was extremely rude and unresponsive. My mother had a wheelchair assist her to the gate for our departing flight in Orlando. This was arranged by the ticket counter. Apparently, Frontier screwed up and did not arrange for a wheelchair to meet us at the gate in Charlotte. When we mentioned this to the lead flight attendant, he said we would need to go and find one ourselves. I asked if he could call the gate and asked them to bring one so I wouldn't have to leave my elderly mother, he said, "no". I asked again and explained that I didn't want to leave my mother. This time he rolled his eyes at me and said, it wasn't his problem. Really? This is precisely the reason I will not take Frontier again. Please look into training your people better or your hiring process. Cheap flight do not address this issue."

Apparently no mobile boarding passes have been working from frontier for over a month. I had to go back, wait in the frontier line, get a boarding pass printed, and then go back through the security line again. With this happening for over a month, this could easily have been communicated to me sooner. It also shouldn't take a month to solve an IT issue."

We chose to get off the plane. We expected to board first at the boarding time (at least before zone 1 was called), but we were asked to wait until our zone (zone 3) was called. To me, passengers from Denver to San Francisco who get off the plane at Las Vegas should be allowed to board first."

I liked that no one was sitting next to me. I did not like the flight attendants telling us that the seatbelt sign was off, when it wasn’t, about 2 minutes before we were preparing to land. So some people got up to finally be able to use the restroom and got yelled at to sit back down. That was both to and from Vegas this week. BOTH flights. They weren’t even overly bumpy or turbulent.

The flight attendant bent over and said his duffel bag is full of puppies! Wow. Why would he be allowed to bring that on a 5.30 hour flight. Then he's soaking these pups with air freshener. I was sick to my stomach. The only thing this guy was worried about was his new sneakers. Pathetic excuse of a human being. I still feel sick, and my throat hoarse from the smell of chemicals."

Upon arriving 2 hours early to the airport, the line for checking baggage was wrapped around the terminal, out the door, and outside all down the walkway. It was ridiculous, unorganized, and completely unnecessary as other airlines manage to handle this everyday. It took me 1.5 hours to get through the line. I just made boarding for my flight."

Cons: "Uncomfortable seats, armrest, and tray tables way too tiny. They also played an advertisement for their miles program lowed and they are constantly asking if anyone wants to buy their overpriced snacks. Everything is nickel and dimed. Only use Spirit for very short trips."

Pros: "This was my first time flying Spirit. It was on time both going and coming from LAX to Denver! Extremely smooth flight....especially over the Rockies! The pilots were informative but not too talkative. Would highly recommend this airline and I wouldn't hesitate for fly them again."

Cons: "My luggage was not delivered in a timely manner. About 90% of the luggage was handed out, but 10 % of the people didn't get their luggage. I was one of them. I only received one piece of luggage and we had to wait an additional 20 minutes after going to the Spirit office to report our missing luggage."
Pros: "When I walked on the plane there are ice cubes and chips all over my seat. It was so dirty. Also the tray to eat on barely fits a coffee. There are no tvs. You have to pay extra for your seat and extra for your carry on bags. You also have to pay for water of snacks. $3 for water!!!! Terrible."
Pros: "Friendliness of all staff. Wider aisle for boarding. More leg room in coach."

Cons: "They charge $55 for a carry on each way, the seats don't recline, the clientele is generally terrible. If you are reading this please go with the next highest priced tickets (probably less than the 110 carry on fee)"

Cons: "Got to the gate expecting a 1.5 hour delay. Flight was not listed on any departure boards. Other passengers informed me it would be a 3 hours delay. there was a single person working the spirit help desk with multiple flights going on, being delayed, and being cancelled. Erroneous announcements were made. Finally after waiting nearly three hours after the original flight time, we were told the flight had been CANCELLED and we would have to rebook. The airline did not even offer to put us up in a hotel for the night."
Cons: "The crew super rude, I ask for a cup of water and she said NO. Will never use spirit Airlines again."
Cons: "When I searched for a cheap price the first airline shown up was spirit. I booked the ticket and i thought thats the only price i have to pay , but the story was not over. These guys charge you for everything that doesn't come to your mind. For taking a carry-on to the airplane they will charge you. For checking in they will charge you. In compare there are some airlines that they don't charge you for these stuffs."
Pros: "The pilot was very informative about weather and anticipated delays."
Cons: "Why charge extra fees for everything? People generally take belongings when they fly. There were empty seats in the flight yet customers were crammed together in other areas of the flight. Flight attendants NEVER smiled."

Cons: "I showed up 45 min early to my scheduled flight even though the spirit website said the flight was 55 min delayed. Then the lady at the front desk said the plane was boarded and she couldn't let me on even though the website said it was 1 hour and 40 min until takeoff. Then she proceeded to tell me that she couldn't refund my ticket because all sales are final. Then I called the corporate customer service number then next day to see if they would refund me and after explaining my situation and spending 74 minutes on the phone, the guy told me that his 'supervisor just left for the day' and wanted me to call back again tomorrow. Do not fly Spirit."
Cons: "Scheduled maintenance would imply being on a calendar well in advance of the date for the job. Contacted about cxl at 10:24PM night before a 9AM flight. You can do better."
Cons: "That you charge for seat selection. There is charge for everything. I'm surprised you don't charge for people to use the bathrooms."
Pros: "Price was ok, however all add on too much to figure out"
Cons: "Crew failed to speak to a passenger playing music without headphones"
Cons: "$3 for a cup of ice and water? Watch out for hidden charges everywhere with spirit!"
Cons: "I don't like tricks or gimmicks. I want to know costs before I book a flight. I chose Spirit because of the lower ticket price. Little did I know I would be charged for my "carry on" ($55) and a bottle of water ($3). Not flying Spirit again."
