Cons: "My Seat 23D had a defective TV, so it was flashing on and off constantly throughout the whole flight, usually I don't have an issue with the entertainment because I like to sleep during flights, but due to some turbulence I was awake for part of the flight. Unfortunately with the flashing TV it gave me pretty bad nausea to the point of wanting to vomit, this is the first time I've experienced anything like this on a plane, was definitely looking forward to landing so I didn't have this nauseating feeling anymore. I have a video of the issue if anyone at Jetblue was interested in seeing. It was flight 499 from LGA to Orlando on 9-16-18. Thanks."

Cons: "The boarding was a shitshow because nothing was done to prevent people from taking all of the overhead compartment room, so by the time my group boarded, there was no room. But, people were still trying and so that backed the line way up from 1/2 way into the plane all the way out the plane and IN SPITE OF MY REPEATED ATTEMPTS TO GET THE FLIGHT CREW TO ASSIST AND CLEAN UP THIS PILE OF HUMANITY, THEY DID NOTHING!!! They forced me to gate checked my carry on bag (no checked bag) and did not tell me I would not get it back AT the plane and had to go out through security to get it at the baggage claim and come back in through security and because of that incompetence I MISSED MY CONNECTION AND WAS STRANDED IN FLL OVERNIGHT. After the front desk continuously trying to explain to me how it was my fault some how, I HAD TO PURCHASE A SEPARATE TICKET ON A DIFFERENT AIRLINE OUT OF MIA AT 5AM TO MAKE THE WEDDING!!!! This is beyond unacceptable and as someone that travels for work and stays roughly 100 nights a year in hotels, I WILL NEVER ALLOW YOUR COMPANY TO BE ABLE TO PUT ME IN THIS SITUATION AGAIN!!!!"

On the flight to New York with Delta we had to check our carry ons at the gate because it wasn't enough room for bags in the airplane.so we asked when we checked our one suitcase if we can/should check our carry ons to avoid having to do it at the gate. The delta employee told me sure no problem. He checks in my one suitcase I purchased gives me the tracking paper and says ok have a good flight. I asked him so what is with our carry ons and he told us that that would cost 25$ and we can't check those in at the drop off?!?We ended up taking the carry ons with to the gate and then off course there wasn't enough room on the airplane that we had to check it in. And surprise it was free?? We had never issues with Lufthansa, icelandair etc. with checking our bags at drop off to not needing to carry it around and than still end up to check it at the airplane. Every airline has been more than happy that we volunteer to check our bags that they don't have the trouble at the gate."
Cons: "flights all on Delta - about one a week for 3 months straight - and yet when Delta cancelled my flight and re-booked they did not give me any upgrade or loyalty as I saw it - I had paid extra for Delta Comfort and they told me the flight they re-booked me on simply did not have any comfort available. However, I was not the one canceling the flight and re-booking - that is their problem and after so much loyalty for years I feel like I should have gotten some kind of upgrade for free...If I have to cancel - I have to pay fees - but if they cancel - I lose ...despite being a very loyal SkyMiles customer. I am quite disillusioned with Delta now and will have to look around to see what other airlines there are now - and my entire family - and what kind of loyalty they give to their loyal customers. It needs to be a two-way"

I was very happy about that. They did issue waivers for those who could not make the later time. Once delta got the ok to fly.. The flight left the gate very fast and we arrived and exited the plane super fast too. The process was so efficient and quick, I did not feel the waiting period. The flight attendance were so happy and positive, they made he flight very enjoyable. Great job delta!"

I understand that weather delays are essentially out of airlines' hands. However, if the delay is caused for other reasons like "mechanical issues", or any other errors or miscommunications within the airline itself, then they should be held liable. My time is worth money, so any delays not weather-related should result in a reasonable refund based on the duration of the delay. An apology doesn't placate customers' frustration and inconvenience due to delays."

The plane was late to arrive at the gate and we were also told that while the pilot was ready to take off, we couldn't leave because we were waiting for a flight attendant to land from Pittsburgh (we were in La Guardia airport in NYC). delta would rather I convenience the flyer instead of hiring more personnel or figuring out standby or backup plans for delayed flights."

This was compounded by sitting next to a man so large that part of my space was taken, and this was Delta Comfort. Had I been given the requested seat, I would not have the sore neck and back I now have from leaning for 2 hours."

Cons: "Boarding process was ok (they bused us over to the plane and then had us walking out halfway to the plane's stairs before frantically sending us back on the bus because the plane wasn't cleaned yet). Not a big deal but we were traveling with a 10 month old so miscommunications like that cause a larger inconvenience than usual. The real downer on the flight was when we needed hot water quickly to warm our infant's bottle. The stewardess had begun beverage service and was about 8 rows away from us. My wife hit the call button, expecting the stewardness to come over somewhat quickly. Instead, she just continued beverage service and got to us about 15 mins later. By that point it was too late and the baby was wailing from hunger. When we asked why, knowing that we had a small child, the stewardness didn't just push the cart forward and attend to us more quickly, she said she didn't want to do that. No apology, not even a sense of remorse. At the end of the day, a customer's experience will always be tainted by poor service and that is what we received on our flight."
Pros: "The flight attendants made the safety briefing extremely lively and personal, a wonderful break from the normal tedious process. The rest of the flight was quiet, uneventful, and pleasant in part due to their good nature. I cannot have gluten or soy, and I was brought a complimentary bag of potato chips that were gluten free - the one and only time this has happened! I hope to fly with this crew again someday."

Honestly, if the delay is due to 'maintenance' for an incoming plane that has not left its originating destination, why quote any time at all? The check in rep did provide an announcement at 8:15 that although the time of departure had moved to 9:05 , he did not see how that was possible since our plane was on the ground in Richmond undergoing maintenance. I was in LGA. When I heard that, I changed to another flight, so the outcome was not as bad as it could have been. I am aware of these other times since my email is packed with Delta's notifications, which I welcome usually."

The entertainment could have been better
Pros: "Not a lot. Entertainment options on board were decent. Food was alright."
Cons: "Everything! Crew were terse, rude and inattentive. Due to an issue with a bag on board without the associated passenger we had to taxi back to the stand for it to be removed before we could take off. This cost us an hours delay. There was limited apologies for this, no refreshments provided during the wait and poor communication of this. During the flight the staff were inattentive and sparing with refreshments. Service generally did not live up to expected level associated with an inter-continents flight. The flight was turbulent but crew and captain seemed over cautious with it and crew had to remain seated unnecessarily at times and at the detriment of passenger service. One stewardess wouldn’t even let me finish a drink before removing it from my hand claiming we were about to land and she had to sit down because of turbulence. We were still 40 mins from landing at this point! All in all a pretty bad flight, and it’s safe to say I won’t be flying American Airlines again."

I used to prefer Jet Blue or any other airline, just taking AA for the price. Now, if all the airplanes are updated, they are on par with any airline."

His phone rang several times while the flight attendant was going through the safety procedures right in front of us. This was after the announcement came that all electronic devices where to go into airplane mode. The flight attendant did not do anything and seemed to ignore the phone that kept ringing. The gentleman was even talking on the phone while the flight attendant was going through the safety procedures. Later while landing an announcement came over that we were to return to our seats, close all tray tables, and seats ts in the upright position. At this point the gentleman sitting next to me leaned his seat backwards. The flight attendant passed by the gentleman at least three times and never said anything about his seat back. Evidently this flight attendant did not care to do his job properly."

They had just gone through the entire procedure to get to the gate and were forced to be stranded. FIRST CLASS: food service: could there be a rating less than POOR? we were given 10,000 miles (yes that bad) but just like Whose line - the points don't matter when the airlines is that bad! Crew response: We're not any worse than the other airlines - my response: WRONG! NO WIFI NO entertainment NO CHARGING AREA magazines were missing pages in both seats- requested new one never received"

Cons: "I will never fly American Airlines again. From the moment I checked in with the ticket agent to getting off the plane it was a disaster. The ticket agent was rude, hostile, and dismissive. Employees walked through the line at security forcing everyone to consolidate their belongings to one bag. I had a large wallet in my hand and was told I had to step out of line to put it in my backpack. They only allow you one bag to carry on without paying extra. At the time of boarding they announced that the overhead storage was full so even those that paid extra were still forced to check their bags. The plane was dirty, the service was slow, overall just gross. They don’t have WiFi or in flight entertainment so I paid the $20 to purchase the WiFi. It was worthless. I couldn’t stream anything, even music kept stopping to buffer. I understand it will be slower then on ground WiFi, but it was impossible to watch anything and a complete waste of money."

But as I landed from my first flight the second flights delay was reversed and I had no notification of this change. I missed my connecting flight. Had to stay in the airport all night, had to fly into a different destination at 7 am. No explanations, no help. Terrible."

Cons: "Got a notification of a TWO HOUR DELAY departing SFO. Rebooked into Charlotte instead of Dallas to connect to Fort Myers. THAT flight got delayed AFTER the doors were closed by another 45 minutes which caused me to miss my connection to Fort Myers AND have American Airlines leave my bag in Charlotte. I rebooked into West Palm Beach to drive to Fort Myers and my bag stayed in Charlotte even though there was ANOTHER 45 minute delay to change a tire on the plane. If I practiced medicine the way the airline handled customers, I'd kill every third patient!"

So we had to go down 20mns before reaching Charlotte to a nearby airport to get fueled up and then went back in the air. The whole ordeal made me miss my connection flight to Barcelona! And I wasn't able to get on a flight until the next day. To make matters worse I had to flight back to New York to catch the flight to Barcelona! Unbelievable. I was beyond disappointed. I chose American Airlines for a reason, a good one at that. Yet this happened."
Pros: "The flight attendants were amazing. I enjoyed the in flight entertainment and overall flight. The flight was only a couple of hours so there were no meals. I enjoyed a hot cup of tea during my flight. I was able to take a quick nap during the initial flight and catch a movie on the way back."
Cons: "The terminal at LGA is undergoing renovations, I had to take a shuttle bus to my gate. The shuffle down stairs, bus ride, and lines for boarding were annoying."
Cons: "I found out at the airport the day we were leaving for Spain that my daughter's passport had to be valid for 3 Months after we returned home from our trip. When booking a flight out of the country it would be nice if Air .com could of mention that to me. We were trying to get to a cruise we had already paid for that was going out of Spain. They would not work with me at all and cx my whole booking. When I tried to talk to them on the phone the man could not speak very good English and was not making any since at all. I let him talk to the British Airlines counter manager and the manager tried to explain that he would have to rebook us that he could not. Air.com was horrible and never helped us out at all. They should not be in business . I paid them of course months ago and I was just out the 1400.00 dollars. British Airlines was amazed that they did nothing to help us out."

They did not refund money for the waiting, they didn't give any voucher for breakfast, they just gave us chips and drinks. People were very anxious and mad about the sInitiation."

Once i land I rush to my gate because I only have 20 minutes before they start boarding ; I get to the gate and have to wait almost an hour. At this point I still havent eaten because I am waiting around by the gate and the attendants are not communicating any information. Then they finally tell us that the reason the fligt hasnt boarded was because the flight attendant misplaced her luggage in the previous flight and was waiting to arrive to the terminal. Now how is that my issue? American Airlines needs to do better!"
Pros: "As somewhat experienced travelers, we know to keep carry on luggage as tight as possible. I was pleasantly suprised to see that overhead bins were not full! We didn't have seats next to each other initially, but the gate agent put us in the exit row with extra legroom!"

Cons: "It cost me $86 dollars to supposedly upgrade my seat to an exit row with tons of leg room. Granted there was plenty of leg room but the seat was extra narrow to give room for an emergency exit if necessary. I'm not huge but I barely fit in the seat. It was an uncomfortable squeeze which of course got worse as the flight continued. I complained to an attendant that the seat was too small and he had no remedy. If I was a few pounds heavier it would have been impossible. You'd think they would warn a customer of the narrower seat. It's so obvious that it's all about profit for the airlines which sickens me."
Cons: "Apparently my seat change did not go through because I was still stuck in the last row near the bathrooms. I must say, the fecal aroma really complemented the on set nausea that was triggered by the turbulence. Every time I thought I was gona drift off to sleep I was rudely awakened by the constant "thwacking" of the bathroom doors. The family next to me was nice enough but they did have a toddler who was very loud and unhappy and the tantrums followed. I have been a server for 14 years and generally can brush annoyances off like this but this was by far the worst flight I have been on."

Cons: "I was originally scheduled to fly to Cleveland from LGA at 8:30PM. At 12:30PM I got a text from United informing me that my flight had been cancelled. My only rebooking option on the same day was a 9:45PM flight out of Newark. Newark is significantly farther away from my apartment (2 hours vs. 30 minutes) but I took it because it was my only option. After a 2+ hour trip to Newark and going through a disastrous check-in process I found out my flight was delayed until 10:30, then 11, then 11:41. Hardly any real announcements were made until the end when the gate agent stopped hiding. No apologies were made and wasn't even offered water for the inconvenience."

A carry on will cost you. Pay before you get to the airport. Both flights I took were 30-45 minutes late due to the plane being cleaned. The luggage was also slow coming down. An airport employee told me that 2 other major airlines bump Frontier a lot when it comes to unloading luggage but I didn’t confirm that with Frontier."

I felt very safe with them. I was able to use TSA precheck without a problem. I would definitely use Frontier again."

Then your flight experience will be great. Otherwise, it's quite annoying to buy seat, check bag and carry on bag at additional price which can be quite expensive so cheap airfare doesn't make any sense! The flight arrived early and absolutely no hassle."

When I saw the commitment of each employees in under cover boss show I was so excited to fly, but I don't think I can afford to the delay."

I had to take a train to Philadelphia just to get another flight home and all expenses were out of my pocket. If I had backed out on the flight after booking, the air line charges me a fee, but if they refuse to follow through on returning me home, I am out of pocket. DO NOT FLY FRONTIER AIRLINES."

Pros: "Frontier is similar to other budget airlines like Spirit where only a personal item comes free and the seats are a little tighter than usual. I thought they had good communication around the fee for carry ons (in the boarding process, they directed people to go online and pay the fee there if they'd already to avoid a higher fee at boarding). Staff were friendly and for a short flight (<2 hours) I felt it was perfectly comfortable, and I'm very happy with my decision given that the flight was <$100 and direct."

Cons: "I didn't like that there is very, very little leg space on the plane. I didn't like that Frontier sells itself as cheaper than other airlines, but then charges $25-35 to bring a bag on the flight. Virtually every person that flies has a bag, so the "cheaper" flight is actually just as expensive as any other airline. Also, on a 4.5 hour flight from NYC to Colorado there were zero complimentary drinks or snacks. This, again, adds to the price and makes it the same price if not more than flying with a possibly more desirable airline. As we were boarding the flight, Zone 1, 2, 3..etc were called but they never called Zone 4, just assumed everyone would get up. The woman directing the boarding process just walked away and never came back to welcome those passengers as well. This was the first time and certainly the last time I will fly with Frontier. Unfortunately, selling yourself as a more affordable option should come with reasons to keep your new customers, not give them countless reasons to pay a little extra to fly with someone else. The business model here feels a little scammy, as a consumer. I assume you will be able to keep customers for a while through selling yourself as the more affordable option, but people are smart and will catch on to the fact that is a bit deceiving."

It would have made more sense to me for the crew to retrieve the bags before the passengers started to unboard."

They offer a competitive price on a flight, but once booked they nickel and dime you until the price is higher than a better airline. They charge for seat choice on the whole plane, snacks and drinks, carry on and checked luggage, and there is no entertainment. Plus the seats felt like cardboard, and didn't recline. Definitely not a good choice for a red eye, or any flight over an hour long. Actually, no matter how short your flight is, you'll probably be more comfortable taking the bus. Two big thumbs down."

Cons: "I'm sure there's some tiny print somewhere explaining carry-ons are $45 but it should be more obvious when booking - even if you do it through a third party. It soured the rest of what was otherwise perfectly good service. Other passengerss reacted the same way. I was charged and then noticed the family next to me was charged only $40 for checked bags. The looks on their faces for having to pay for both types of bags was priceless. I mentioned the cheaper check-bag fee at the counter and she said, "Oh, but you said it was carry-on". It just felt scammy. Easy-Jet has been a discount airline for ages and they give you all the options up front so you know what you're getting into. They practically charge you for toilet paper but there are no surprises. Add the extra aggravation of LaGuardia's third world style and you end up with a frustrating day for avoidable reasons."

I was travelling with a friend and I got a seat and she didn't because of an error on their website. We almost didn't get on the plane. The flight on the way back was delayed 2 hours and there was a lot of confusion about the gate and updates. Bag drop off on the return flight was over 45 minutes and people were stressed they were missing their flights. You must check in early so you get a seat and don't miss your flight. Otherwise you take a chance and are stressed. The seats do not recline. You have to pay for any drinks besides water. It's expensive to check in bags or carry on. The flight price was not that cheap that any of this was worth it. I'm very disappointed and won't fly again."
Pros: "I woke up to an email 31/2 hours before my daughters flight was suppose to leave Atlanta informing me that the flight was canceled. Called customer service where the man I spoke with was unable to or unwilling to tell me anything except that "yes it looks like the flight was canceled". His suggestion was to have my sister drive my daughter an hour and a half to the airport to see if there "might" be a flight available through another airline. Frontier did not have any flights going to or near RDU that day.Since my daughter had to be in Raliegh that day I spent the next 10 hours in the car going to get her. I did receive a refund but only because I requested one,otherwise they just don't refund automatically."

When checking her in the night before and picking a seat in coach my sister had to pay a "fee" for her seat, so an additional fee of $57 dollars for one bag and a seat.... Really?"
Pros: "Nothing. The flight was terrible."
Cons: "My flight was delayed over 6 hours. Nobody gave us any information. I missed an important event because I was waiting around at the airport. I was supposed to take off at 6 and I didn't get home until 3 am. Worst flight ever."

Pros: "Crew was nice, but very uptight about wearing a seatbelt, not standing in line to use the bathroom, not changing seats, etc."
Cons: "I booked tickets with this airline for the first time because prices were significantly cheaper than with other airlines. However, I didn't realize I would have to pay $45 for carry on luggage, pay extra if I did want a seat in the middle, and even pay for soft drank! After factoring in all those things, it would have been a lot cheaper to use a different airline. Plus, it was by far the most uncomfortable airplane I have ever been on. No leg room, small seats that do not recline and have no cushion. Terrible experience!"
Cons: "I was extremely disappointed with this flight because it was delayed over an hour."
Pros: "Read the fine print. This airline is cheap for a reason. There is a fee for carry on bags, and nothing is complementary. Seating is randomized unless you pay extra for a preferred seat. I opted for the cheapest option, no carry on and a random seat. This placed me at the back next to the rest room, but that's how it goes. Seats were very small, with the least leg room I've ever experienced. Thankfully, my flight was only 2 hrs long, and though we were delayed boarding 30minutes, we still arrived on time. Crew was very friendly and the plane was clean. I would recommend this airline for a short flight in which you have no luggage!"
Cons: "I'm 6'1, and I wish I would have paid extra for a "stretch" seat. No leg room in the regular seats."

Cons: "They charge extra for EVERYTHING! This is NOT any kind of a budget airline, it's just a NO-FRILLS airline, at the same price. I had to "pay" for my seat, hello, didn't I just buy a plane ticket? Also, it costs more to bring a carry-on than it does to check a bag, as each passenger is allowed only one personal item. So instead of bringing a small carry-on for my clothes I paid to check a large suitcase. (added cost) No signage at the gate to identify it if was the correct flight . Crew behind the desk somewhat unprofessional - applying perfume and taking personal calls within feet of the desk, while we were waiting to board. Once on plane the Crew was very grumpy and at times, downright nasty. As I said, they charge you for EVERYTHING, no complimentary water or soda here. The concept of not having complimentary beverages would make sense if they didn't "nickel and dime" you for everything else. I almost expected to have to pay to use the toilet. Fortunately, our return flight was much better. The crew was super professional and civil. This was the first time I ventured onto this new Frontier, and it was certainly the last !"

Cons: "-$40 fee for personal bag that was slightly over regulation -one hour delay PLUS 2 hours stuck on runway in the airplane without access to water nor could we stand up out of our chairs for bathroom -finally when they were serving food and beverage only paying passengers had first access to food and water even if the crew had to walk all the way to the back and then back to the front to serve and charge them, it took about 45 minutes until they started serving water (of which the second cup of water they needed to charge for supposedly although we got "lucky" and they gave us a free second little glass of water)"
Cons: "The payment process is confusing. At boarding there were many passengers who didn't know there was a charge for a carryon so that slowed down the boarding for the rest of us. Then you get going only to find out you have to pay for a soda too. I detest the nickel and dining. Just charge me one flat rate and call it a day."
Cons: "Cheap tickets but then you have to pay for your seat after you already bought the ticket plus another $35 to check your bag. Paid $250 for the flight then had to pay another $70 just to get on with my bag and sit. Didn't get any good customer service from anyone who works on this airline. Didn't offer any free beverages on the flight. You had to pay $2 for a soda. Plane was old and beat up. None of the machines worked to print up my boarding pass which left me on a long line where me and a couple other people missed their flight due to lack of staff behind the counter. They tried to charge me another $100 for another flight and still charged me the $70 for the flight I missed. So I went to American and got first class for A LOT cheaper than what I paid all together for this flight. Waste of time, money and just a big disappointment all around. Will NEVER fly frontier again!"
