Cons: Business class seats not very long if you are tall. Western meal option is not really very western. Crew is a little too efficient- got woken up 90 minutes before landing to clear the mattresses. Lots of announcements- a bit too much. On time, and quick to respond to requests. Sake was good as was the ramen.

Cons: More movie choices. More substantial second meal.

Pros: The crew and food both are amazing.

Cons: PA announcements could have been louder. I also had difficulty understanding when I could hear the English words.

Pros: Food was amazing and stewardess courtesy to passengers.

Pros: Two choices of meal and friendlier staff. Props to JAL.

Pros: Two choices of meal, friendlier staff, better head cushion. Props to JAL.

Pros: I loved the Haagen daz ice cream. Loved that they have USB ports.
Cons: Portions of food is small. Entertainment selection could be better organized; ie comedy tv shows, drama tv shows, Japanese tv shows.

Pros: Service was excellent
Cons: Cabin and all associates accessories, seats and entertainment center needed replacement. Electrical outlets didn’t work. JAL retire that plane

Pros: Food was great
Cons: It’s 14h flight. I wanted more water. I had to keep asking but the size was too small... I didn’t want orange or apple juice....

Pros: Kind people, quality service. Very helpful. On time.
Cons: Had trouble hearing instructions from flight crew since volume of the speakers was low.

Pros: Sitting in my seat I felt that I had wiggle room for my feet and my arms/elbows. Usually on American flights, I feel like a sardine packed in a can. Even though I was in economy I had plenty of space and was very comfortable during 9 hour flight from BKK to Tokyo.

Pros: Great crew! Easy transfer. Handled our luggage very well! Will fly again. Food was good!
Cons: More movie options would have been nice.

Pros: While many other airlines are cutting down on their service quality and amount of food on their flights, Japan Airlines has done the reverse: offer excellent food and great service at every tier, including economy. We took a flight from NY to Tokyo and felt like it was one of the best long haul flights we have taken.

Pros: I was fed two meals and snacks/drinks in between for a 14 hour flight. Love the little TV in front of the seat and the blanket and pillow. Crew was very sweet. Overall positive and good first international flight. Would choose Japan Airlines again! <3
Cons: Only a little hard to sleep upright in economy class seat. I wasn't able to fall fully asleep.

Pros: Crew members on board were very attentive and offered the best service in the most polite manner. Food was great. Great options and portion for lunch. Well respected brand for ice cream was served as dessert. A wide variety of overnight snack was provided for passenger's own selection. Breakfast was great with variety of food on the tray. Personal screen was modern and provided a great variety to keep me entertain during the very long flight. Seats are unexpectedly big and very comfortable together with functional well designed pockets beside the screen, where I could put my personal items. New and clean cabin.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Polite friendly and attentive Staff. From checking in to inflight.

Pros: JAL is great!
Cons: Cold food

Cons: You mean the flight that never happened? The one that was suppose to fly out at 12:50 on 1/6/18 delayed until 17:25 (with acceptable communication the first delay) but then later delayed till 00:10 after I’ve already arrived at the airport early for the 17:25 departure. The screens with arrivals and departures posted that Checkin was open but there was no JAL staff to answer questions. Then getting an update “maybe” the 00:10 flight is cancelled? What is maybe cancelled and JALs phone messege still said the flight would depart at 00:10. So I go back to JFK because after all “maybe” isnt a definitive and according to all the direct JAL sources the flight is suppose to depart, I get to JFK the second time only to be given a printout saying the flight is cancelled with no rebooking, and to call for assistance. The same number is been calling for hours trying to get answers. coukdnt reschedules because I’m calling outside of business hours! I spent $200 on cab rides going back and forth to JFK to go nowhere, get no apology, no new flight booking, and no reimbursement for transportation.

Pros: The staff were awesome. The facilities were good.

Pros: The crew was friendly, and the view from the window was stunning.
Cons: There wasn't enough leg space; it would be nice if the entertainment system had usb charging available.

Pros: Nice staff.
Cons: Economy seats very uncomfortable especially for long distance flights - barely reclining. Seat selection very painful - can do it online, have to call up to 48h before glight with roaming fees if already abroad. Food okay - nothing Japanese. Movie selection could be richer and better.

Pros: Service and staff was good
Cons: Seats small there was a terrible smell like a dead rat that kept coming through and it was intermittently hot

Cons: Flight was delayed by 3 hours!! No info was given why until we got on the plane. We did not know if the flight was going to get cancelled and if we need to make other arrangements.

Pros: Food Service Crew actually cares about you
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Everything
Cons: more movie options!

Pros: The service was great. Food was delicious,
Cons: It was a bit too warm in the aircraft.

Pros: Still, love JAL's customer service from the cabin crew. The flight attendants are always friendly, courteous and professional. They do a great job of meeting and exceeding passengers expectations
Cons: The cabin area was extremely warm; at one point, I had to take out the safety card and fan myself. There was no explanation why the approximately 5-hour flight was uncomfortably warm. During the flight, I woke up from a sound sleep because of the heat in the cabin.

Pros: Loved everything including entertainment selection and all the snacks left out as self-serve throughout the flight. Left and arrived on time from JFK to Narita
Cons: I'm picky about food and preferred the food to Tokyo on ANA to JAL. However, I take some responsibility for not making a special request pre-flight. I will do so for trip home.

Pros: Clean and nice staff
Cons: Seats separated from my friend for 14hrs.

Pros: Awesome experience, nothing like any other. Will fly again.

Pros: super comfortable seats, great food, huge monitor, non stop service for the 13 hours plus JFK-hnd new flight
Cons: Aisle seats not very private, remote control not intuitive to use

Pros: My sister got airsick the last hour of the flight. The flight attendants were extremely helpful and considerate in easing her discomfort.

Pros: I have gotten used to long flights on various American airlines where it seems the staff do the minimal amount. Service is so incredibly better on Japan Airlines. Staff respond when you ask for assistance. They smile and work with the passengers. They were actively present almost all the time which was amazing. There is just no, "no," on Japanese Airlines. I loved the media options.
Cons: It has been a while but the food was not as good as I remembered from way back when, or maybe that was Korean Air? It was, however, hot when it should be hot and cold when it should be cold.

Pros: The food was excellent and the stewardesses were extremely attentive and helpful.

Pros: Flight crew are very courteous and helpful. Comfortable seats and better leg room space in the economy section.
Cons: We were delayed and stayed in the plane for 3 hours and flight was almost cancelled. Could not really understand why there was a delay or why it would have been cancelled.

Pros: Food served was actually pretty good.
Cons: Movie selection, should've had more recent releases instead of flicks from the 90's. Makes for a long flight.

Pros: Good in flight entertainment options. Great food and plenty of it. Service was top notch. No complaints.

Pros: Airline crew was super nice and helpful, attentive, and the plane was very clean.

Pros: Sitting in the Economy section, I was lucky to get the two seats next to me empty so i was able to stretch and sleep. Before the flight landed, the head flight attendant came to greet every passenger and personally thanked them for choosing JAL. I've flown on JAL several times and thus had never happened so I was pleasantly surprised.
Cons: Economy Class seats are uncomfortable for long haul. Wish they could do something about it. Some of us dislike rice crackers and peanuts as welcome snacks so a different option could be nice.

Pros: If I needed anything, they were on top of it. The food was very good for airplane food.
Cons: They kept the cabin a little warm, and at 6' 4" the seats are a bit small.

Pros: The food (Japanese) clearly was a league of its own. Service was prompt, attentive yet discreet.
Cons: Selection of video entertainment could be increased and improved.

Pros: Cabin attendants were nice. I got sore throat so I asked some items, like water or candies. Then they served me them nicely.

Pros: Dreamliner 787! Great staff. Efficient. Good food.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: The attention of the flight crew to all passengers. The on time boarding, departure & arrival is top notch.
Cons: None.

Pros: Boarding process; comfortable legroom on the Boeing 787; 1st meal was also excellent
Cons: 2nd meal, some sort of a rice seafood mixture

Pros: nothing
Cons: The movie selection, my electrical outlet didn't work and they took my phone away from me to charge it in economy plus but did not allow me to come with my phone. The food wasn't very good either.

Cons: Late boarding

Pros: Good and polite crew
Cons: Business class cabin very mediocre for a state of the art latestBoeing plane

Pros: This complaint is more targeted at American Airlines, which handled the New York Washington leg of the trip. They provided free food such as sandwiches and drinks at the gate due to the 2 hour delay.
Cons: Red eye flight delayed for 2 hours. Then delayed another hour on the runway. No in-flight enternmaint, which would have made it bearable. Descent into Washington Reagan National freaked me out because the plane was flying eratically while being so close to the ground and recognizable landmarks.

Cons: I was not happy with the meal. The taste and appearance are not satisfactory

Pros: Food
Cons: Seats

Pros: The price was right. On time arrival.
Cons: Crew and food were not especially pleasant.

Cons: I am a vegetarian. My food was not yummy.

Pros: Crew friendly and courteous as always, plane had more legroom than most, entertainment tech was top-notch, and of course, EVA always has great food.

Cons: Great experience, will use EVA again.

Pros: Crew and efficiency of them
Cons: Their policy regarding check in luggages and carryon luggage wright limit policy

Pros: Everything except the food which is mostly chinese.
Cons: They could add some variety into their menu which is mostly chinese

Cons: We were traveling only with carryons. The body of carry on itself weigh more than 5 pounds. The check in guy were being difficult just for four lb extra and made us check in one bag which caused us inconvenience later going through baggage claim. Inside the flight passengers had heavier luggage.

Cons: Seats could be more comfortable. There's no reason for a 16 hour flight to have rows of three or more seats with barely any room to move or stretch out.

Pros: On time.
Cons: Little chilly in cabin

Pros: Flew with EVA 16 years ago to Hanoi, Vietnam and again in 2018 to Hanoi, via Taipei. Very professional, attentive, good food, little amenities that make a difference in the overall experience of traveling. Very clean bathrooms, even after a 16-1/2 hour flight to Taipei it was still clean at the end of the trip. Food was good and plentiful, wine, spirits, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages offered. Came around at least three times on the leg to Taipei with food and water and when I wanted more water they gladly made sure I stayed hydrated on such a long flight.
Cons: I

Pros: Very good service. Good seat legroom. Shiite connection wait time.
Cons: Nil

Pros: The flight was comfortable and pretty easy to network through everything.

Pros: Mom got the flight but hearing good things about Eva Air, I can't wait to try!

Cons: Entertainment system not functional. Food was terrible.

Cons: We won’t fly Eva again.

Pros: We were fed plenty of times, snacks and drinks always available, the crew was very kind and accommodating. They even had a vegetarian entree available for me!

Pros: Friendly flight attendants, efficient boarding, great selection of games and movies for IFE, good food. Totally satisfactory.
Cons: I think they are unfortunately discontinuing the daytime departure JFK-TPE. Too bad as the combination of nonstop flight and evening arrival minimizes jet lag for me.

Pros: Crew is nice and very accommodatingw, but food is not the same as it used to be ( this is my 3rd booking for Eva air) it’s not comfortable the space between roll a very tight)
Cons: Food, accommodation,

Pros: Professionalism

Pros: Ok food. Snacks were good. Crew was kind and professional. I would fly EVA again
Cons: As with any flight there could be more leg room. I had a large man behind me and I felt bad putting my seat back because of his legs.

Pros: On time flights, great crew, efficient service, great price
Cons: More varieties of food choices

Pros: I liked nothing
Cons: In spite of JFK airport shuting down due to Storm Grayson, EVA airline refused to cancel the flight until 1 hour before the time of departure! They wouldnt listen to my requests to change flights until it was too late. JFK airport put out a notice at 7:30PM stating that they woukd be closed until 7am the next morning. However, i recieved an email from EVA airlines AND Kayak around 9 PM stating that my flight was on time... the airport was closed!! Terrible organization... overall a really bad experience.

Cons: Airline seemed to be extremely stingy with the food and beverages during my 12hr + flight. Felt like I had to fight for every little bit of extra scrap of food and explain why I needed it. It was also very limited options almost everything in the menu contained pork and if you did not pre-order a meal in advanced then it was hard for you to get anything else to eat. Airline also forces you to take out your headphones from the TV set almost 20 minutes before arriving for some odd reason. And on my flight we had a two hour delay on the tarmac.

Pros: The vegan meals were tasty.
Cons: Not enough leg room. Seating not wide enough.

Pros: The service was implacable. Flight attendants are super polite, nice and helpful. The plane is large and comfortable, very clean and they offer essential oils and creams in the bathroom, makingbthe experince even better.
Cons: As a vegan, I was very happy that they offer a vegan meal and were very nice about it. The food could've been a little better and at this day and age they should have some sort of protein in it, like tofu. Regarding entertainment, I felt that they could've have a bit more variety. Other than that everything was great

Pros: flight is on time. you can pre check. crew is helpful. amenities are there. one of the best long flights i had.

Pros: Overall good
Cons: Cool

Pros: EVA Airlines was a wonderful experience from the beginning all the way to the end. From checking in to receive boarding passes, boarding, stewardess, the food, everything was wonderful. They were always pleasant and had a smile on their face. When my trip was changed by the website (vayama) to fly back to the states, EVA Airlines went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care, placed on another flight, and made it home to get to work the next day. They didn’t have to take care of me, but the did and the professionalism is amazing! I’m very pleased with this airline and will fly with them again!
Cons: N/A

Pros: The seats,movies and food

Pros: They were very efficient and did their job well. Entertainment systems worked well, were easy to use and the controls didn't impede use of armrests. I didn't measure the recline but it seemed a little more than typical. The food was very good.
Cons: Entertainment choices were too few, and there were only a few newly released movies.

Pros: New equipment and incredibly good crew. Seats were actually roomy and comfortable.

Pros: Many options in entertainment pkg Food very tasty, many offerings of water by in-flight cree
Cons: Leg room cramped It would be nice if coughing passengers were offered a mask and throat lozenges

Pros: Comfortable seats and tasty food. Very prompt stewardess and good manner. Passengers are well behave.
Cons: Long wait to check in. No information on the late check in. Information regarding lounges was not provided or apparent. Web site did not have this info.

Pros: I was in the air.
Cons: Boarding plane was a mess. People were stuffing their bags everywhere. They didn't bother zoning and the buses didn't let passengers off at the same time so people at the back of the plane were coming in far later than the front. It Telly held things up.

Pros: The service at the counter in JFK. I think the guy's name was Darren (not sure on the spelling) - great service. The EVA plane staff was well trained and accommodating.

Pros: helpful staff at check in in jfk airport. flights were not too crowded. only one stop to final destination.
Cons: delay for more than one hour from jfk airport

Cons: Space beneath seat in front, where you put a backpack and such, was very, very small - smaller than other airlines

Pros: The customer service the lrg room very spacious and tge cleanliness superb
Cons: 30 up seats to tight for a heavy passenger

Pros: Excellent pilots! We met a very tough weather when we took off from Taipei 4/21/17 8pm. I thought it was the end of my life! Prayers, competent pilots, and dependable plane had saved us. To God be the glory!
Cons: I was requested to wait for a space for my carry on luggage which is fine. I waited for the FA to tell me where to put it and I placed it myself where she asked me to. Few minutes later, she asked me to move my luggage and to place it to another overhead cabin because she said It's "heavy." I followed the standard size and weight for carry on luggage. Another passenger helped me instead. No place to rest our feet.

Pros: Taste is good
Cons: Not much choices, service is awful

Pros: Everything was great except that the cabin temperature was too cold. But not a major problem. This was my first EVA flight, and I thought it was great.

Pros: Liked the service and inflight movie and such
Cons: Nothing

Pros: The crew are very helpful esp. to us who are senior citiizren

Pros: I like the crew they're very generous and kind
Cons: The choices of the food, and need more movies and music, not just asian music but also american

Pros: The Vegan food was great on the first half of my trip. The stewardess took my information and promised to help me reserve a vegan meal for the second half of my trip. She did not deliver on her word. The crew on the second half of my trip explained to me that I had not requested a special meal when I'm fact, I did.
Cons: The flight crew was aware of poor weather on the first leg of my trip. I boarded the flight and it was grounded, at the gate, for 4 hours before departing. THAT WAS HORRIBLE!!!!!

Pros: The price was less.
Cons: Not very comfortable.

Pros: Great service, comfy flight, free in-flight entertainment, good food
Cons: I don't understand why I can't use my own headphones in the headphone jack attached to the built-in monitors. I was in the middle of a movie in the last 30 minutes of the flight and we were asked to turn in our EVA-provided headsets, which was fine. Since the movie was still playing, I plugged in my own and was promptly asked to remove them. This rule seems a little ridiculous.

Pros: Customer service was outstanding. After a debacle with Jetblue where they cancelled our originating flight, we booked another ticket through Delta to get to JFK. The Delta flight was delayed on the tarmac of JFK for 45 minutes, giving us only 15 minutes to go to the EVA terminal and check in. The terminal was nearly empty when we ran up to the counter. Luckily, the agents had not closed down yet. They attempted to check us in when they realized that the airline cancelled our ticket because our Jetblue originating flight was cancelled. The agents worked furiously to ensure we got on the flight, even communicating with the gate to let them know we were coming. They rebooked our tickets and got us on the plane. We are so appreciative of the EVA staff at JFK for saving our vacation.
Cons: The food is alright. Equivalent to a TV dinner.

Cons: Best service

Pros: The crew was amazing. Food was great. Clean bathrooms. Great entertainment.
Cons: We had our passports and boarding passes checked five times in the course of 2 minutes by five different people one after the next. My cabin luggage was searched right before boarding. I appreciate the need for security, but that was excessive and unnecessary. In the peak of the Corona virus craze, the security made all passengers take off shoes and walk without any protection. This is not Qatar Airways doing - New York JFK security B S, but I am sure airways companies have some say to change it.

Pros: Excellent crew. Very good food. Comfortable seats.

Pros: Crew was great and food was nice!

Pros: The crew was very friendly.
Cons: Seats can get better.

Pros: So welcoming and so caring
Cons: Food

Pros: The crew was amazing
Cons: The tv didn’t work throughout the whole flight. Very uncomfortable seats

Pros: Crew was amazing

Pros: The customer service was amazing. Air hostesses were very courteous, friendly and helpful.
Cons: Seats were too small to sit comfortably on a long flight I wish Qatar had better seats for long journey and had advanced entertainment system.

Pros: The food its disgusting
Cons: Better service and better food

Pros: Excellent food choices, multiple meals, very fast boarding process, comfortable seats that recline much more than US domestic flights
Cons: My movie was a bit dicey, but thankfully I wanted to sleep anyway

Pros: The food was good and many entertaining movies.
Cons: When first boarding the airplane and sitting in my assigned seat. There was terrible smell, the smell of vomit. I notified a crew member and she used a fragrance spray to help.

Cons: Seat comfort

Pros: Crew was excellent
Cons: Boarding at JFK is very bad. They do not know the meaning of priority. Food from JFK to Doha pretty bad.

Pros: Crew was very accommodating

Pros: On line flight experience
Cons: The food has to improve especially they have to provide fresh food

Pros: Attentive crew. Good selection of meals excellent wines

Pros: Phenomenal sericve Left my earbuds on the plane ther were returned before my next connection
Cons: Service service The q suite the airport and more service

Pros: Qatar is awesome. Amazing service and great new planes.
Cons: All good

Pros: The layover was hell. They put me in a warehouse with wooden benches for beds. Never again
Cons: Horrible service. The US part of the journey was fine but the rest was aweful.

Pros: The service was great and was on time
Cons: The service and was

Pros: The leg room was huge, the food was excellent and a lot and the customer service was great not my first time to fly with Qatar and it won’t be my last, the made my trip worthwhile. Thank you
Cons: No complaints great flight

Pros: Passengers with kids up To ten yrs should be boarded with passengers with infants...otherwise excellent service...i like flying with Qatar airways..

Pros: Wonderful crew. Pretty nice and clean plane, I wish the normal distances between chairs were a bit bigger. My knees hurt. Flight was very smooth, landing seamless.
Cons: Boarding in jfk is always a nightmare, and this was not any better. Huge crowds blocking the hallways, boarding started 15 minutes late, departed late - therefore arrived late and we missed the connection to Kiev, had to spend 8 hours in Doha.

Pros: The movies, snacks, the crew. They were very friendly and helpful on board not the crew in the airport!!!
Cons: Space of the seat and the ground crews(aiports) how come their less friendly than the crew on board!

Pros: I loved the service. All of the attendants were really nice and helpful.
Cons: My tv on both 12 hr and 8 hr flights didn’t work well and the food wasn’t the best. Also they ran out of food options when they got to me twice.

Pros: First time flying on Qatar and must say that the crew was excellent. One of the best crews I have ever flown in the last 22 years of New York - India sector. Special mention for HAIFA my hostess for flight QR702 on April 12th. She was the best hostess I have ever had!
Cons: The food wasn’t bad but since I flew Etihad in July 2017 from New York to Abu Dhabi to Mumbai and back my memories were fresh and Egihad’s food was definitely a notch higher.

Pros: The plane had everything I could want.
Cons: Unfortunately, the plane was late, prompting me to miss my connecting flight. These things happen, I understand, but most upsetting was the fact that Qatar Airways provided very little information to those of us missing our flights. While on the plane, when those of us with short layovers mentioned that we may be late, we were told "you'll be fine - they hold the planes for a bit." When we deboarded the plane from New York, we ere wrangled into groups depending on our destinations. Many of us assumed that we were going to be taken to our next flights as we had been told they would be waiting for us. The airline rep in charge of my group refused to tell us any information, however, only admitting after we got confrontational with her that we had missed our flights. She then offered no information about what would happen to us, telling us we'd find out when we got to the rebooking counter. Very unprofessional. I was told that I would have to wait for another 24 hours for the next flight, necessitating that I would spend the night in Qatar. I was put up in a hotel that was decent, but again that offered very little in terms of customer service. We were given an $80 meal allowance, but despite me not using it, I was nickeled and dimed in other aspects to where I ended up paying $20 to help reschedule a flight that I had missed in my destination country. The whole ordeal was a nightmare and mostly due to poor communication and very cold, almost robotic interactions with the QA staff on the ground in Doha.

Cons: Even though we landed in Doha before our connection left ( barely-20 min)on Qatar airways, they would not hold the connecting flight for the 7 of us who were connecting. This was extremely disappointing as we then lost a full 8 hours of our first day arrival. If they schedule you for a 45 minute connecting flight, I suggest you book a later one. Our flight from NYC left on time but was 20 min late landing. Their only compensation to us all was use of the airport lounge in Doha ( quite nice with free food wine and showers, but would rather have had the extra day in Bali.

Pros: Excellent service..!

Pros: The food was great with three options for each meal and there were a lot of options for in flight entertainment

Pros: Service, attentiveness, food.
Cons: lack of ability to pay to upgrade even though there was plenty of empty business class. (Almost all seats were available)

Pros: Good service!! Good food!! Great staff!!

Pros: service, food and cleanness

Pros: Would be very happy to fly again on qatar if options for Indian food menu is increased

Pros: Great amenities and service - fed often throughout trip and great console with games, movies, etc.
Cons: The neck rest was a bit tall and deep for a shorter person with a smaller neck - it caused me some discomfort while trying to rest.

Pros: Best service ever from the crew. Flight on time.

Cons: Seats are too small

Pros: The Qatar Airways price.

Pros: Seats should be comfortable, improve your menu, Pakistani dishes should be added, sweat dishes are hot and tasteless

Pros: Not much really.
Cons: The air craft was old, I was sitting on the exit row and the screen was loose and the window on the exit row was leaking. The food was bad and the service was poor. The flight attendant kept on forcing things on me rather than asking me what I wanted.

Pros: The service and the food were amazing!

Pros: Great service. Great food. Solid entertainment.
Cons: But the onboarding was a bit disorganized. The zone method was confusing to non native speakers so everyone was confused. It then become chaotic. Also the 320 product was too different than the 350 flight

Pros: If we had arrived on time everything would have been perfect. However I did not arrive in Johannesburg because a flight delay (even though our flight was set to let ontime) caused probably 40 people to miss their connections. To their credit, Qatar Airways did find accommodations for us and gave us food vouchers. Otherwise it'd be a zero rating.
Cons: Boarding took far too long and caused us to be an hour late. Because of this, I am missing out on events scheduled in South Africa. This is very upsetting and it appears that Qatar Airways is too slow with boarding, there was no explanation given for why it took so incredibly long to board.

Cons: It's been more than 50 hours and I still haven't received both of my checked in luggage

Pros: Clean. Friendly staff. Good food. Good entertainment.
Cons: Small cramped seats.

Cons: - Airline changed flight and offered little forewarning for what was a material change (from 1 hour transit time to 9 hours) - Boarding process was inordinately slow with little attempt to move this along quickly - Service was halting at best

Pros: Nothing that i like
Cons: Delay, bad food, no strict rules about passenger moving seats

Pros: We departed late and therefore missed the connection. The staff met me and made arrangement for hotel accommodations till the next available flight. No haggling was necessary. staff on ground and in air sought to be helpful. Price of ticket was very affordable. Seating comfortable.
Cons: Comparing to Emirates airlines...Movie choices were very limited. Only 2 new movies available. Food was poor at best. This was my second trip with Qatar. First trip...my iPad was stolen from baggage. Airline have had no solution. I prefer Emirates.

Pros: Good, newer wide body aircraft. Good service. No hassles, really. Would fly again. Overall good experience.
Cons: Newest seating arrangement in 777 300 ER just too crammed. Used to be better. Nothing special about this flight, was expecting a little more space, a little less crowded, a bit better service. But my flight was short hop from BKK to HAN, last leg of flight originating in Doha.

Pros: Crew
Cons: Food

Pros: Amazing crew. Seats comfortable

Pros: Everything, one of my favourite airlines

Cons: When boarding from JFK the plane was like a Sauna. The ACs were not working till the plane took off. So for an hour we were in a hot Sauna in an A380 supposedly the best airplane that Emirates has. That has never happened in Emirates flight earlier btw

Pros: Delay

Pros: We love this airline!
Cons: nothing

Pros: Overall flight was good.
Cons: Flight attendants were helpful but didn’t smile much as I see with other airlines.

Pros: I love rraveling eith with Emirates. The seats are comfortable. They have good entertainment system eith a variety of choices. The attendants are polite and respectful and they do an amazing job. The food is good as well.

Pros: Service and food
Cons: Boarding for business class took a long time and was very out of order

Pros: Great flight
Cons: No

Pros: Plenty of space

Pros: This is the most messed up money making strategy I have seen at airlines.

Pros: Nothing .
Cons: I started my journey from JFK with Emirates and before booking ticket I checked with customer care representative regarding the baggage allowance and I was told that I am allowed to carry up to 55 inch . I just carried 43 inch tv weighing 19lbs and one check-in baggage weighing 21kgs and they made me pay 175$ saying that tv size is not in allowed limitations. I have also filed complaint but didn’t get any response so far . Last year my husband carried 55 inch with ethihad from same airport JFK and was not charged single penny. so I can say there is no airport restriction as well.

Cons: It was over booked No option to upgrade even though I had more than enough air miles

Pros: The staff at the check in counter at JFK was very friendly and accommodating, much like the crew on the flight. Boarding was orderly and efficiently executed, although some announcement about the 30-minute boarding delay would have been appreciated. Onboard the seating was quite comfortable compared with other airlines I have travelled on and the crew was exceptional in their service - really customer-focused. The meals were tasty with unlimited snacks and complimentary drinks. Generally, I would highly recommend this airline.
Cons: The TV and remote controls could be updated. Touch screen was largely slow to respond and the whole system could be more intuitive.

Cons: Flight was initially delayed one hour, then we were asked to line up for boarding but it took another 45 minutes of standing before we were boarded. The flight ended up taking off 2 hours late. We missed our connecting flight, the meal vouchers in Dubai were for vendors that were a) shut down/no longer open and b) of terrible food quality (McDonalds!? AWFUL!)

Pros: I always prefer this airline to so many others. It’s definitely more organized, good selection of movies, more leg room for a long flight which is great. The food was mediocre
Cons: Movies Leg room Breakfast

Pros: Food ,seat, everything was just great

Pros: Good food, great entertainment, comfy seats

Pros: Loved to watch a movie and get wonderful service
Cons: Can't think of anything

Cons: The planes were older and for both flight my seats had problems reclining.

Pros: Business class product is phenomenal.

Cons: Hindu Meal was a repeat of the DEL DXB and DXB JFK sectors.

Cons: Crowded! I did not realize we were traveling on a holiday. The plane was full of children, including preverbal kids, who have no choice other than to cry when they are confused or unhappy. But hey, that's what noise-cancelling headphones are for! Staff is very accommodating and did their best.

Pros: Flight crew was very friendly and helpful, seats were comfortable, entertainment options were plenty, and food was excellent. Would definitely fly again and recommended to others.
Cons: Check in process was a little slow, since they do not have self service kiosks for those who are not checking bags. However, ticket staff was very friendly and helpful. Boarding was a tad chaotic, since they do not have separate lines for each group.

Pros: Food is good, inflight entertainment is good, and even though the flight is long, Emirates does a good job inflight.
Cons: 29 passengers were arriving in JFK from MSP, a flight that was delayed due to ground staff issues at JFK (which means that Emirates' partner airline had some issues?). Plane was delayed but we landed just in time to make the connection or so we thought. After running through the terminal, we saw our plane attached to the gate for 53 minutes(I have pictures to show) but Emirates gate staff said the flight is now closed, and didn't let us board the flight. They didn't help us rebook our next flight, or pay for hotel or transportation. And some of us couldn't fly for 2 days because they were overbooked on their future flights. And that's what really happened - Emirates was overbooked for our flight, and conveniently used the excuse that they didn't know our flight had landed in JFK (seriously), and their ground staff was totally non challent about it. They asked us to call the partner airline to rebook, who instead asked us to call Emirates. 4-6 hours of calling for most of us in the middle of the night. Emirates has social media presence on Twitter & Facebook but it's like chatting with a wall. Its 100% useless and waste of time, and I have asked them where I can send my complaint but they won't respond.

Pros: everything

Cons: Our flight from Boston to JFK in Ny was delayed an hour. We got to JFK and ran from the plane to the terminal and they had already closed the door but the plane was still there. They wouldn't let us on the flight and it ended up even being delayed for 30 minutes! We talked to JetBlue and they said they couldn't do anything for us so not only did we miss out on a day in Italy, we lost our a ton of money on all the things we booked for Tuesday. We also then had to get a hotel in ny and everything was booked so we almost had to sleep at the airport but luckily we found a place that had a last minute opening. Still was super expensive and no one helped with a "destressed rate". Now we have to wait until 10 again tonight to try to catch the plane to Milan because Emirates only has one flight a day. This has been the worst travel experience I have ever had.

Cons: worst crew i have ever encountered in spite of repeatedly calling them they just completely ignored my calls served me wrong food and when i said i needed a veg meal they said they could only serve if it was pre-booked when i showed them my pre-booking details on my cell they agreed to serve me one. Very disinterested crew in serving the guests badly managed from my early, also the pizza slice emitrates serves is a non veg pizza its clearly written on the box preparation may include eggs fish etc.. and they did not have any substitute for the same. Multiple passengers kept on disturbing me and asking me to shift my seat even when i was sleeping and the crew did nothing about it because of this experience i would not choose to fly emirates again

Cons: No proper communication provided on gate about the delay. Meal voucher was given very late and hence did not make any sense. We were completely uncertain about our onward travel since no information was available till we reached Dubai which was very frustrating.

Cons: Most horrible experience... customer service is horrible ... didn't even take the flight . They delayed the flight and they think it is ok to put us on any flight they want . I booked the flight because i was particular on the shortest duration of the flight they rebooked me on a flight that would have taken me to my destination after 36 hrs and the way the crew spoke was so horrible. It was as if they did me a favor by putting me on another flight.

Pros: Great entertainment options, decent food, comfy seats with a lot of legroom
Cons: Boarding was confusing

Pros: Emirates is my new favorite airline. Food was excellent, flight attendants were all friendly and professional, the seats were spacious, and there was a great selection of movies.

Pros: ICE entertainment system was of high quality.
Cons: First, the seats were very small and uncomfortable. I had trouble sleeping, and, the seat was stuck (couldn't move back). And second, the food tasted horrendous. I have been on many flights, and this was perhaps the worst meal I've ever had. The coffee was bitter enough to make me gag (even after I added cream), and the chicken was flavorless. The boarding process was a mess. It was hectic and unorganized. The flight was delayed an hour, and the crew failed to provide an adequate rationale as to why. Speaking of the crew, they weren't helpful. At one point, I had asked to use the restroom, and I couldn't get in. Again the crew provided no rationale as to why. Then, a few HOURS later, a lady approached me and said I could go "very quickly". This was my first time flying with Emirates and I don't think I'll be flying with them again.

Pros: Excellent selection of entertainment

Pros: The roomy seat and extra leg room are very nice. Very friendly crew, they made travelling with children a lot easier. Like them.
Cons: The food is not as good as expected I actually did not eat the food, it was just not good.

Pros: Onboard crew- Bliss was the name of the crew member on board. Efficient and a joyful personality to engage. He connected , talked and responded warmly and efficiently.
Cons: Checking in at the airport- the staff person who I dealt with was combative and inflexible. I had to ask the manager to mediate till the matter was resolved. As frequent travelers, I am aware rules change and am willing to comply. Being told my hand baggage had to be checked in and I cannot redistribute the weight or put things into my checking bags that were yet to be tagged was unreasonable. Started my trip on a negative note which was avoidable. I have found the training crew get and the ground staff get are disparate. As efficient as the onboard crew are, the ground staff in DXB and now NYC do not match up.

Pros: Crew was great, entertainment options expansive, food decent
Cons: I had 2.5 hours to get from terminal 5 to 4, check in and get to gate. I almost didn't make it. The lines at emirates check in were insane and didn't move for a long time (online checknin was unavailable). TSA at JFK also. Easy slow and my TSA precheck didn't appear for my pass.

Pros: My first time on Emirates and it was great. Lots of room and amenities even in economy. Food was surprisingly good.

Pros: Great service, good food, lots of entertainment options.
Cons: Hard to sleep with multiple service times

Pros: Really comfortable plane, and the service and food were exceptional!

Pros: The entire experience was first rate- an excellent web-based support network from flight planning through on-line checkin. Airport experience at both MXP and JFK was excellent.. attentive, efficient ground staff- as were aircrews on both our flights with Emirates. Top class, attentive.. really enjoyed the flight. And, we pushed back spot on time both legs.
Cons: They work the aircraft hard and it shows in small details.. broken latch in the head, bits of trash in the seatback pocket... but still head and shoulders above their competition. Oh, and it'd be nice to have bar service better coordinated with dinner.. the bar showed up quite a while after dinner was handed out. Tough if you prefer wine with your meal.

Pros: Flying with Emirates was a fantastic experience. Top service, variety of entertainment, spacious seats, delicious food, and amazing helping team.

Pros: Smooth flight, nice crew and decent food. Good infotainment although I couldn't find live TV in the Menu.
Cons: The plane was uncomfortably COLD and DRY! Had two blankets on me and still sneezing. Seats were TIGHT!! Unbelievable!! Such a large plane had seats as small as baby car seats! Left the plane with red eyes, dry nose and aching joints!

Pros: Unlike most reviewers, I never have a good experience with Emirates. However, Crew (this time) was very accommodating and did their best to make this a comfortable trip.
Cons: Boarding was delayed about 45 minutes. We were called to board but left standing in the tunnel while ground crew cleaned. We began to taxi and people were still storing their luggage and walking around.

Pros: After what happened on Wednesday August 3rd I expected there to be some craziness but not like this. I was checked in by an employee who just started that day. She tells me in a faint voice "sir you may not make this flight". After that she tells me to check back 1 hour before the flight leaves. So I do, another teller states you made the flight please go to security. I have 45 minutes before the flight is schedule to leave at 3pm. I rush with my wife from one part of DXB to the other. Somehow make it there, but then have to wait for over 2 hours because of a connecting flight being delayed, unbelievable. Then when we land and I try to claim my bag, the bags are lost. Not just mine quite a few passengers. I go to baggage claim and the teller is screaming at me and other passangers "shut up, I don't care about your bag". This is the most disrespectful moment of the trip, never have I experienced a customer service provider yell at me like this. This experience is a direct reflection of emirates lack of management in their hiring process, as well as their ability to train their staff in high stress environments. Will I fly emirates again probably not, paying a premium for below average service is not worth it. The cabin crew were very thoughtful and respectful and made the trip bareable, their ground crew is anot her story.
Cons: Lack of management with staff, being unable to control a high stress level situation, additionally the lack of communication regarding the progress of my flight. Delays and set backs happen but communication would help me plan and be prepared accordingly.

Cons: I requested (at least 2 months ago) for a cake for my daughters Birthday which was on July 5th. I made the request over phone calling customer service in NY. Unfortunately it was not honored. When I called 2 days before the flight departure just to verify, I was told by the telephone Representative that the request was cancelled by Emirates as it was not entered properly ( ? ). And she can not do anything about that. Though the request was entered by Emirates Employee and Emirates just cancelled the request and did not bother to notify me. My daughter was so upset and was crying , and nothing I could do to make her happy. I will never fly Emirates again.

Cons: I didn't the staff was friendly. When we asked for something, our requests were responded to a rude tone. Coffee was old and gritty

Cons: See above. Ended up on a shitty American Airlines flight instead.

Cons: they didn't tell me i couldn't make the flight until i got onto the check in counter. bad communication then and bad communication now too, when i am trying to rebook.

Pros: The crew was awesome and extremely attentive! Thank you so much!
Cons: I thought everything went very smoothly!

Cons: The flight attendants would forget me when tending to everyone

Pros: The service and the entertainment options.
Cons: Although I understand that the crew has to take precautions but it was strange to see the stewardesses keep their masks and gloves on during the whole flight.

Pros: Quick boarding and was on time. Crew were attentive and kind
Cons: 14 hrs is still a long flight and the movie selections were just OK

Pros: Flight arrival is earlier
Cons: The food is not taste good

Pros: Really liked the food
Cons: For such a long flight, I would have expected to get eye masks, but all they provided were slippers

Pros: N/A
Cons: N/A

Pros: saet food and cabin crew

Pros: The flight stewardesses were polite, nice, patient and accommodating. Boarding was prompt, quick, and organized. Plane lavatories we’re constantly cleaned so they won’t feel icky in the latter part of the journey.
Cons: Perhaps, the movie choices could have been expanded.

Cons: Flight from Seoul to Phuket did not have outlets if that is something you require

Pros: Flight attendants were amazingly awesome !
Cons: Foooood Asiana airline foods are worst

Pros: The seat was comfortable
Cons: The vegetarian ovo lacteo food could be much better. Because I am vegetarian doesn’t mean I can’t eat chocolate

Pros: Nothing! They made me very upset!
Cons: They made me cancel my 6 month stay to a 30 day stay when I arrived at the airport, otherwise they would not allow me on the plane! They said I needed a vista for the length of stay which I always get when I am in Manila for the past 8-10 years that I have been going without any prior warning before I confirmed this booking! I was charged $500.00 to change the departure date! Outrageous!

Pros: After took off 5-6hours later very bad smalls comes from the bathroom.

Pros: Staff and flight crew were all really nice, very professional and attentive. Decent range of video/movies available. 2 meals - ok
Cons: Delays on both legs of flight- significant and multiple delays from jfk to icn... made the experience not so great, as my daughters 1st time flying this didn't help - and no compensation at all. Emails and notifications not in english! Not given an actual reason for flight delay. Seats VERY uncomfortable, might as well be no cushioning on the seats in economy. With such long flights you would think that an airline would want even economy to be somewhat comfortable sitting for 14hrs or more

Pros: The entertainment had a good selection, although the headphones and connection on the armrest wasn't perfect. Also the food had a pretty good selection.
Cons: The discomfort of being on such a long flight. Hard to be comfortable. And unable to sleep for any stretch of time.

Pros: Excellent personnel, really polite and helpful all the way

Pros: Spacious plane

Pros: I love the friendly service of the crew and how they always bend over backwards for u all the time.
Cons: Needs more cushion on the seats.

Pros: The food was good and the service was great. The flight attendants were very attentive.
Cons: I had to pay $200 for an extra bag because they told me that my bags were all over weight. Come to find out, the scale was broken and my bags were actually underweight. So I ended up with 5 bags instead of 3. My main issue was comfortability. Due to the person behind me, I couldn’t push my chair back and so I had find different ways to sleep.

Pros: Same great staff
Cons: Flight pulled away from gate and sat for nearly three hours. Bags did not make it onto flight. Seats suck.

Pros: Great friendly staff, good food.
Cons: Both legs were late, the first nearly making me miss the next. Lost my only suitcase for the trips. Seats are really uncomfortable.

Pros: i like the simplicity. Asiana landed in korea Incheon which i love.
Cons: i had to pay 200$ for an extra bag which was overweight. maybe it’s my fault but 200$ is a lot

Cons: few new movies in the list

Pros: It was nice to know that JetBlue and Asiana are connected. I did not need to claim and check my suitcase for the connecting flights anymore. The entertainment device was also nice.
Cons: I think JFK rather than Asiana was the issue. It was quite cold inside the boarding area, and the waiting area happened to be unpleasant because of a lack of seats and the noise. The announcements before boarding happened to be annoying. Lavatory happened to become quite messy at the end of the flight.

Pros: Chair to chair distance is spacious.

Cons: Being stuck on the runway for more than 7 hrs with "mechanical problems" was to much!! Than getting off & told to wait from 8pm till 3am for next flight had to sleep on the airport floor!! Was told we couldn't leave because no one to check us in at 3am! I'm only 10min away from airport!! Then when I finally got to Manila they left my bags in Korea! I had to wait till midnight before I could get my bags!! So i couldn't get a flight to a smaller island I was heading to! To meet friends they totally screwed my vacation!!

Pros: Nice attendants
Cons: No english subtitles

Pros: I saved my points, rolled points and purchased everything I could to be able to take Asiana first class from JFK-Seoul (Incheon). Pretty much a dream. 14 hours and I could have gone longer. Put it on your travel bucket list if you are heading to Asia.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Service is very polite. Attendants are some of the nicest I've ever met, though their English (and PA announcements, etc) will be a bit hard to understand unless you're used to communicating with folks for whom English is a second language. They're also all softspoken, which is very soothing, but even harder to understand what they're saying! Seats are also BIG and have a great recline (seat and seat back) on the Airbus. Flying on a daytime departure from NYC to ICN I had a lot of empty seats to stretch out on and it was pretty quiet for a long flight to Asia.
Cons: Seats are HARD! I'm not sure how you even make a hard airplane seat but they've figured it out on the Airbus for sure. The solution: get a second pillow to use as a seat cushion. Solves the problem. Also, the "upgrade" to the bulkhead seat is only good if you have a baby in a carrier or really long legs. If you like having your bags near you, or want to keep stuff at your feet to work on, or like to raise the arm between seats, or have a tray table and pocket in front of you... you won't have any of those in the bulkhead upgrade seat. And the phone customer support simply doesn't know enough English to explain these things properly. Fortunately someone else was happy to switch with me. Lastly, they really don't understand that special meals do not need to lack in flavor. Non-Lactose Meals are super boring in flavor - and there was no reason at all not to serve the bulgogi or spicy pork dishes for the NLML! They seemed surprised when I asked to switch it, which suggests to me that the attendants don't even know what 'non-lactose' means, though they were very sweet about confirming and delivering me my special (bland) meals. But asking for a packet of gochujang solves that problem!

Cons: 4 hour late :-( Unacceptable.

Pros: Food was OK but nothing spectacular. Variety of beverage is OK, there was a snack in between meals, overall, the flight is good and by expectation for the price I got for the tickets.
Cons: the seats are not comfortable,

Pros: Nothing
Cons: WTF IS MY LUGGAGE. No compensation for my lost luggage. I had to buy clothes and basic necessities out of pocket because the airlines have no clue where my luggages went.

Pros: Great entertainment options. Great service. Delayed flight for 2 hrs
Cons: They lost my bag

Pros: Great modern, spacious and quiet plane Airbus 380, great entertainment options.

Pros: service and food

Pros: Crew very polite; food was really good; in flight entertainment good; and plane was modern and clean. Most imprtantly our check in agent was very capable and helpful. We had a hard time checking in on line, and as a person in my 60s I very much need an asile seat which she arranged. Check in was extremely efficient in a crowded airport. Would definitley fly again.
Cons: Check in website not good. Could not choose seats in advance. This could be much better.

Pros: Crew was nice and competent
Cons: Cabin lights went on three quarters into the flight and wouldn't go out and there wasn't enough water

Pros: The economy seats are quite roomy compared to other companies. The planes and Incheon airport get upgraded every year. Inheon is probably the best place for lay-over with plenty of options for acivities, from short and long tours, Korean bath house wity overnight stay option, easy and fast immigration, and great customer service always.
Cons: There is still some language barrier with the crew, though much less so compared to other Asian companies. They made up for it in hospitality. Food is usually good. The sandwich this time was cold cut whoch is not as appetizing for breakfast. But

Pros: I like flying Asiana! Clean, they have built in entertainment screens, and friendly staff.
Cons: The only thing I found confusing was I requested a Hindu vegetarian meal. For some reason, part of my meal had chicken... luckily, had dinner before boarding the plane so wasn't an issue.

Pros: Very comfortable Biz class. Friendly and attentive crew. Flight boarded and left
Cons: The food was a bit bland. Movie selection was more limited than expected and there was no inflight wi-fi.

Pros: Left and arrived on time They sent the luggage to the hotel first thing in the morning, which had come by the next flight.
Cons: Luggage didn't make the connection.

Pros: The flight was on time, the people in the plane were very polite and the movies available were very varied and good.
Cons: Everything was good.

Pros: Plane was clean and attendants polite
Cons: Boarding seemed very random as no rows were called.

Pros: Crew were professional, helpful and attentive. Food was good for economy class. I have never seen a plane board so fast and I will fly with them again.
Cons: Couple inches more leg room.

Pros: The flight attendants were responsive and polite. The foot rests at the economy seats were a nice bonus. The bathrooms were well stocked and mostly clean. The entertainment was OK. There were mostly action movies which aren't my thing.
Cons: The check-in line was about an hour long. There were way too few people at the counters for a very large plane. I pre-weighed my bags on scales that weren't being used and moved things around. The really stressful part was my carry on bag. It was overweight and transferred things to my handbag and into my suitcases as much as I could. The only things in my carry on were my laptop and medication. It was still 2 kilos overweight. I appealed to the manager who said I had to check it. Checking a bag with my medication would be dangerous to my health and we know they wouldn't reimburse me for the theft of my laptop. The manager, Yeonju Lee (first name may be spelled incorrectly) was completely inflexible and devoid of compassion as was the check in agent. They said the restriction was due to security measures, which is a lie. I've traveled all over the world with carry on over 20 pounds and there has never been a problem. They said I had to correct the problem in 7 minutes or I would not be allowed on the plane. Ultimately, I almost missed the flight. I had to ask people in the security line if I could go ahead of them. If I can avoid it, I will never fly Asiana again. The seats are hard as rocks which is difficult for a 14 hour flight.

Pros: The hospitality was excellent and the flight flawless.
Cons: The migraines from traveling to the other side of the world.

Pros: It was a very efficient flight. Everything was just quick. The flight crew did everything in a very programmed way.
Cons: Nothing really
