The only indication about the delay was this. If a customer is traveling with this need I would presume the airline knows in advance so why was it a problem and a surprise which delayed a plane full of people for two hours. People missed connections etc. Not good! And barely any updates"

Also the crew, weren’t properly stocked with anything, not even water. They did their best to work with the lack of supplies and information they were given. Cons: "Absolutely everything except for the crew listed above. The delay was never informed to anyone until check in- even then the gate’s LCD screen wasn’t even updated with a delay. They said they had to call British airlines to ask them to change the information! No one was allowed into the lounge for a 5 hour delay which is horrible. Considering the airport was under construction and the restaurants all closed an hour before boarding. It was horrible. I missed work because of this and my day rate is 800$ and all I got was a lousy $100 voucher. If Alaska airlines had, I don’t know let everyone into the lounge and provided us with more respect and something in return maybe it would be so bad. But right up to three of the boarding crew (not Danielle) who were YELLING at people. People who were tired and confused. It was the worst experience and I am a global flyer with my company."

The staff not pleasant, as in zero smiling, no welcoming on board and they were short with other passengers. It’s unbelievable that snacks are extra when every other airline offers complimentary peanuts/pretzels/cookies. I had to spend $30 extra for my fiancée to sit next to each other, even though we purchased tickets together. As a Minnesota born resident, who now lives out east, this was such a disappointment. I will not fly with again."

Also booked totally last minute and had a window on first leg, and an aisle on second."
Cons: "The flight was delayed because of SC operational impotence and I was missing my connection. SC said they will refund the fare but refused to compensate $200 in fare difference on an alternative flight. I could not afford the alternative ticket and missed my appointment that I have scheduled 3 months in advance. SC customer service manager named Cole enjoyed torturing me on the phone for 30 min saying he was not going to approve the difference in fares blaming on weather. While an agent at the gate indicated the delay had nothing to do with the weather!!! Most horrific experience ever! And I fly all the time"

Cons: "the flight was delayed so the boarding that was to start at 8:15 started at 9:00. We were all called to board within a few minutes, only to hurry up and wait in another line outside the plane for like 10-15 minutes before the crew actually let us board. The plane left the gate and then sat on the tarmac in another line where over 30 plus planes were also waiting to take off. WE SAT THERE ON THE TARMAC FOR OVER 2 HOURS. Not that Sun Country was at fault, but we should have never been able to board, knowing that the airport was that backed up. JFK is notorious for doing this to customers."

As compensation, we received a $200 voicher to fly with Sun Country again. I will likely not even use it."

My dad asked the crew to put their seat next to each other at check-in but the crew ignored 3. My dad took a seat as given, then flight attendant came and told my dad that he had to move to another, more uncomfortable seat because there is someone on wheelchair has to take my dad's seat! How on earth can you book a first class ticket in error and have an airline confirmation number.... Anyways ended up staying another 24 hours in a hotel because of them and ruined the weekend. Hope they reimburse my expenses!"

Landing was unnerving as plane had to do go around for what pilot suggested as an aircraft on runway (pilot terminology for poor approach)."

Also, I looked like on my reservation my first name was combined with my middle. I thought it was an error and called and waited on the line fur over a half hour and never talked with anyone. Did not know we were assigned to Exit row until we boarded. Our overhead bins were full with other passengers carryons. This should not be. Why can't passengers use their own overhead bins. Stewardess would not help us, she said find a spot up front, if not you'll have to check carryons. Terrible."

Every time the PA system was used it buzzed so whatever was being said wasn't comprehend-able. The biggest complaint was the seating room. I understand that you want to get people into more legroom seats but honestly there should be a regulation for the inhumane way you treated those of us that did not ante up more! I thought I alone have these opinions but once you get me back home, you loose my business forever. I will take my Transatlantic flights every six weeks elsewhere."

Cons: "The Gate agent was rude and fresh. At least 10 passengers told me they did not hear the boarding announcements until the final boarding was called. When I said to my friend as she was running toward the gate that we didn't hear the announcements. The gate agent told me I was the only one because all the other passengers did. I told him that wasn't true. He would not look at me and repeated to go down the jet way or I would miss the flight. Meanwhile more passengers were running for the gate. The message board message displayed "preboarding". I was sitting in the gate area for 40 minutes."

The crew were mostly efficient and worked well together BUT only one (out of the 4 or 5 in our section) smiled at passengers and looked like she was actually enjoying her job. One blanket wasn't cleaned well enough."
