Pros: "Definitely can't beat the price, especially for a non-stop flight halfway across the country. I had plenty of room in my seat even with my backpack under the seat. The drink and snack selections are pretty decent."
Cons: "Delayed to start and it took a while for all the bags to be loaded. Once we arrived it took over an hour from the time we touched down to when our bags arrived at the baggage claim. Ended up finally leaving the airport an hour and a half after the time I was originally supposed to arrive."

Pros: "I arrived."
Cons: "It was an hour after boarding before take off. Another 15 minutes on the ground after landing waiting for a gate at midnight on a weekday. I understand that circumstances occur beyond the airlines control, but this has been routinely occurring on my trips with Frontier. Absent compelling reasons, I will not be flying with them again."
Cons: "My brand new Wacom tablet that I received for Christmas was stolen out of my checked bag"
Pros: "They still pick up trash!!"
Cons: "New airbus has even LESS room!! Have to manhandle your personal bag out of the even smaller space under the seat! A soda is $3! There is Nothing to read anymore and the crew are overwhelmed with cranky people... making them cranky."
Pros: "The same"
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Too many fees"
Pros: "As above."
Cons: "As above"
Pros: "It didn't crash"
Cons: "The whole staff from the check in to the attendants was rude rude rude. Never again!"
Pros: "fare was good"
Cons: "the seat was terrible"
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "Seats are very uncomfortable and do not recline. Tray is child size. Entertainment? There is none. Was that a joke topic? You didn't even have a magazine."
Cons: "The carry on price and a kid crying the 2 hr flight"
Pros: "Low fares Smooth ride/landing Bigger leg room than Spirit Airlines"
Cons: "Delayed flight Seats were not the most comfortable"
Pros: "Crew was friendly and accommodating but we waited 3+ hours for a pilot that never showed"
Cons: "Crew was friendly and accommodating but we waited 3+ hours for a pilot that never showed"
Pros: "Efficient from the crowded baggage check to baggage claim. Great Job!"
Cons: "Seats don't recline, get what you pay for!"
Pros: "Flight attendants helpful and pleasant"
Cons: "Plane was filthy. Crackers, chips, etc all over the floor. Wasn't a clean spot anywhere. Unpleasant to sit for several hours with my feet in filth and to have to put my bag in it under the seat."
Pros: "You got me to my destination."
Cons: "I thought the Stewartists were not friendly at all.. also there is no longer complimentary drinks and snacks.. I already paid 330 for my ticket then they tried to charge for a carry on.. Frontier nickle and dimes its customers"
Pros: "Staff was awesome and efficient"
Cons: "Food options, especially since one has to purchase snacks."
Pros: "I liked everything except I was a bit surprised to find out it was an extra $40 for my carry-on each way. I would've paid the extra $80 upfront but it seemed a little bit sneaky to add it on when I got to the airport. Otherwise it was a very enjoyable experience."
Cons: "Flight was cancelled 30 minutes prior to boarding with no explanation given. There were no other flights on Frontier for two days. There was one single gate agent responsible for dealing with every angry passenger. I had to rebook on a different airline for the next day, and it cost me $250 more. This was very painful, especially during the holidays."
Pros: "My bag was lost in my FIVE HOUR layover in Denver, and no one could tell me where it was for five days. I only tracked it down by stalking some Frontier employees on their lunch break in seatac. I will never fly frontier again. Money saved isn't even almost worth it"
Pros: "the price. Staff are lovely. laughed at the mini-tablet sized "tray table.""
Cons: "Pity anyone over 5'7" or overweight -- least legroom I have seen on an airline to date. I would fly again squashed on a plane... but I would tell most men, there is no room for them. DVT waiting to happen. Oh gate guy at Denver told me my gym bag carryon was oversize (it wasn't).. guess they are obligated to try to get us to pay for "extras." I did not pay because the bag was smaller than their carryon template."
Cons: "pay for seat on aisle, pay for soda, pay for reclining seat, pay for carry on luggage, reading lite out, no reading for a 3 hour flight, not much in-flight service."
Pros: "The price"
Cons: "I was flying to Seattle with my 8-year old son and my boyfriend. Because Frontier charges so much for bags, we packed all of our stuff into one bag. My bag ended up in San Diego instead of Seattle. I was told they'd refund my baggage fee and I've yet to see the money. We only had ONE day in Seattle before we were going to drive back to Denver. Our one day in Seattle was ruined because of my bag getting on the wrong flight. We were told the bag would be on the next flight to Seattle, which would be 10am the next day. I was told they would call me when the bag arrived. 11am came and went and I spent 20 minutes on hold just trying to speak to an actual person to find out where my bag was. Finally got ahold of someone and they couldn't locate my bag. We decided to go about our day, but I had to spend $100 on jackets and clothing and toiletries for my son, boyfriend, and me. Around 5pm I called again, and also had to wait another 30 minutes to talk to someone. They told me my bag had just arrived, and sorry it didn't make the earlier flight. Now the Frontier counter was closed and they'd only open from 9pm-11pm. Had to make a 30 minute drive to the airport at 9:30pm to retrieve my bag. All around it was a terrible experience and our one day in Seattle was ruined by the bag getting on the wrong flight. Extremely disappointed in how they handled the situation. I don't care how cheap Frontier flights are, I will not be flying them again."
Pros: "The crew were never short or rude at least."
Cons: "Poor handling of delay. Announced a maintenance problem, due to bird strike, which itself is understandable and I certainly wouldn't want to have that rushed, but at one point they said it would only be another 10 min. Ended up being something like a 5hour delay. They wouldn't just tell us it was a significant delay, but instead kept announcing "any minute now." Offered food vouchers eventually, but many of the few places we could use it were closed by then. Stranded in the airport."
Pros: "Nothing at all really..."
Cons: "Flight schedule kept changing at last minute. Seats were uncomfortable. They charge $25 for every bash to checkin including first bag. Also they charge anywhere from $9 to $16 each flight for picking seats if you want to to seat together with your family. I will not travel ever in frontier airlines ever nor recommend it to anyone."
Cons: "The flight was over an hour delayed on the ground and then my luggage is still completely lost. The customer service has been absolutely terrible. I am in a city in which I do not live, with absolutely no clothes, toiletries, shoes etc and I have been on hold waiting to talk to someone about my missing bag for over 45 minutes. Frontier has absolutely no idea where my bag is, it is not in the place that I took off from and definitely not at my destination. This has been an absolute nightmare in which they offer you pathetic $50 to make up for the over $3500 I have in missing belongings."
Pros: "Flight was on time"
Cons: "I haven't flown frontier for about 7 years. I used to love the airline but didn't realize they had changed their model. I was so surprised we had to pay for EVERYTHING even a carry on bag. The seats were uncomfortable and didn't recline. There wasn't a real tray table to do work, you can't get any sort of beverage without paying. I felt nickeled and dimed the entire time. The crew were not very friendly. Also, I was given a $10 voucher by frontier and I asked 3 different employees how to use the voucher and no one knew. Additionally, the frontier website and check in process is not intuitive and very lengthy and frustrating. I would gladly pay more to fly ANY other airline but frontier in the future."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Everything"
Cons: "Charging for carry ins makes me never want to fly frontier again"
Pros: "Nothing."
Cons: "Everything."
Pros: "Nothing."
Cons: "The added fees are ridiculous. First we are charged for our seats upon check in. Ugh. Then, we were able to bring our small roller luggage at no extra charge from Seattle to Chicago. However, in Chicago, we were told to pay $60 (PER BAG!!!) to bring them with us, which I think is exploitation because looking back, i wonder if they could have gone underneath in storage at no charge. Also, the inconsistency of fees was VERY frustrating. Plus, $60 for a bag is absurd, what a completely ridiculous number. The seats were incredibly uncomfortable. This is the most economy airline I've ever flown, and it was horrendous. I'm surprised these even passed code, the tops felt like metal bars and barely any padding. I felt unsafe in the case there were to be an emergency. I will never fly Frontier again, and I will always warn people about flying this carrier. Nothing good to say."
Cons: "$80 dollars in hidden fees, they charge for cary on, and there was no indication of that when i purchased my ticket"
Pros: "Quick boarding"
Cons: "Paying for a carry-on. No complimentary coffee/water. The pocket in front of me had gum wrappers & other trash shoved into in when I sat down (hadn't been cleaned)."
Cons: "Forgot about luggage charges, seat selection charge and the seats don't recline - pretty horrible for a red eye."
Pros: "I didn't like anything about frontier. It was horrible."
Cons: "I did not like the seats as they were uncomfortable and did not recline. The tray tables were tiny. The price is deceptive as you have to pay for checked bag, carry on, and a decent seat. The inflight refreshments were not complimentary. Everything had an additional price!"
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "We had to pay extra for the carry on."
Pros: "Crew were courteous"
Cons: "Seattle to Chicago: Had to wait "two hours' before flight to check our baggage in. Made getting to the air port "3 hours early" as recommended by their email alert to avoid long TSA lines - which weren't - made us waiting in the airport way too long Chicago to Seattle: Same "3 hours prior" alert (the lines again were not long) made getting to and waiting in the airport way too long. Plane was delayed getting to gate and/or they brought a "new" plane in - and had to wait to get it "cleaned up" since the agent at the desk was the only one on duty, she said. Plane left late, sat on taxiway and returned with a "sensor warning" that needed looked at. Left way late in the end."
Pros: "I got one free drink for the delay"
Cons: "No TSA Pre-check even with my Global Entry card $45 fee for carry-on luggage (each way) $16 seat selection charge (up to $55 per seat per ticket) No complimentary soda / crackers (only water) No entertainment onboard Told that the ticket I purchased was a 'low fare' ticket which didn't include ANY luggage, not even carry-on Charging more for carry-on luggage than check-in luggage (there is no labor on the airline side for carry-on, but they made it more expensive for the Customer because they'll generate more revenue)"
Cons: "Flight was delayed by 3 hours. The plane came in and sat at the gate the whole time, and no updates or explanation was given by the ground staff as to the cause of delay or the expected time of take off."
Cons: "The seats are amazingly uncomfortable. Your ticket price is good , until you realize you pay extra for absolutely everything."
Pros: "In order to have cheap fares, Frontier charges fees for EVERYTHING. Carry-on luggage, anything besides water, etc. If you can fit everything you have into a small backpack and bring your own snacks, no big deal. If not, I'd recommend a different airline."
Pros: "Even after a 2 hour delay on a 7am flight, no effort was made to board the plane any faster. Staff appeared uninterested in customers"
Cons: "Frontier is not a customer friendly company!!"
Pros: "In spite of the apparently hard-and-fast rule about exit row seats costing extra, a friendly and intelligent young man at the desk at the boarding gate made an exception for me. I am 6'4' tall and a retired firefighter, first responder, ambulance driver, and former EMT. Having a person well-trained for emergencies located in an exit row seat is a potential benefit for the airline as well as for a tall passenger. Your man made a good decision and I appreciated it greatly."
Cons: "I don't favor the large surcharge for exit row seats, especially after the plane is loaded and there are such seats remaining empty. I would suggest dropping the price at that point to $10 or $20 to fill the seats. At least you would make some extra $ instead of zero if no one feels they can afford the seat upgrade. You will gain many more loyal flyers."
Pros: "The flight itself was relatively inexpensive."
Cons: "Return flight was delayed 2 hours. Paid $45.00 for carry-on, both ways. Flight attendants were ride to some passengers. Noticed baggage handler, through the airport window, kicking luggage. Arrives at the airport at 8:30 PM, and was greeted by two very nice desk clerks. When my flight finally arrived at 2:00AM, the obviously exhausted desk clerks arrived at the gate to board passengers onto the airplane. It appeared to me that they were severely understaffed. Upon arriving at my destination, we were delayed an additional 20 minutes while the airplane in the gate was delayed, due to mechanical problems. While just one of these issues is not necessarily a problem, collectively they were maddening. I will NEVER fly Fronteir again."
Pros: "Cheap initial pro sing online"
Cons: "Never will fly frontier again. Bought the tickets for the cheaper price posted online. Felt like there were fees for everything. Extremely poor service, took an hour and 15 minutes to check my bag. Extremely understaffed. The plane is extremely crammed and uncomfortable, way to tight of a space for a big guy like me. Extremely dissatisfied."
Pros: "Crew was friendly, plane was clean"
Cons: "The whole flight was a sales pitch. Had to pay $ 40/45 to carry on or check bag. Except for water all refreshments had to be purchased at inflated prices"
Cons: "Very unhappy that my price listed on kayak did not include the additional cost for a seat."
Pros: "The pilot talked us through the turbulence and gave adequate and great information. The crew was polite and nice."
Cons: "Overall the food options didn't include an actual meal. That wasn't the specific flight's fault- more of an overall problem."
Pros: "Boarding moved along smoothly, seats were decent enough"
Cons: "I did not have a food/drink menu in my seat compartment, nor did anyone else in my row. When the stewardess walked by, I asked her for one. She rudely snapped at me "well you should have one" and then she walked away. She never came back with a menu. I was so stunned by her sharp attitude that even the girl sitting at the row across from me felt bad and asked for a menu from someone in her row just to give it to me. At that point I didn't even want to look at the menu and I didn't order anything. I probably would have otherwise. I don't know why this particular stewardess acted like that towards me as I had not interacted with her previously nor was I rude at all. All I said was "can I please see a menu? I don't have one." This was my first time flying with Frontier and I will probably not fly with them again. I will stick with United and Delta. I have never been treated like that on an airline before."
