He then replied how that wasn’t his problem. I said I would put the bag under my seat and he said if he saw it under my seat he would take it. He didn’t help me try to find room or do anything helpful at all. I took my bag and found plenty of space to store it. I was very displeased and shocked how I was treated. Also the Dunkin’ Donuts coffee was undrinkable. No where near what actual Dunkin’ coffee taste like. I also didn’t like that they tried to charge me money for the headphones."

Cons: "I had a late evening flight and my neighbors chatted very loudly the entire flight. The gentleman’s seat was one row ahead but decided since there was an empty seat in our row he would sit with his girlfriend. The couple smelled of alcohol, not sure if they were served with more than one alcoholic beverage but it made the flight very uncomfortable. Even with my earphones on at a higher level I could still hear them."

They had us sitting down and water could be given until the flights starts but 1 st class recieved all the accommodations which i unstand that is why you pay for 1st class. But honestly the crew could accommodate a class of water to a few passagers. The pilot didn't have to wait 40 mins to let us k now we were waiting on maintenance to sign off on their form. Some of the passage obeyed the rules by turning of our phone. I turn my phone back on when i heard a passager say maintance was required. I would say flight was good sits were smaller than last August"
Pros: "I know it's not the crews fault for the delay, but everything was just truly horrendous. I was a little hesitant to fly United after their scandal, but now I know that I should not have. After a 2+ hour delay, I had to pay $60 at the gate to check a CARRY-ON that I had already asked about at the baggage drop at the beginning of that dreadful day. They assured me that it would be no problem, and foolish me, I actually believed them, so instead of paying $25 to check it ahead of time, I got screwed for $60. For a close to 6 hour flight, a meal should be provided. Entertainment was free because of the fiasco, but normally it's $7.99 which is ridiculous. Lastly, the leg room was really nonexistent. Truly the worst experience I've ever had flying, and I've flown plenty of airlines, both domestic and international. I definitely think my return trip back to Jersey will be my last time flying United."

I was just standing there waiting when a young girl walked by me in a uniform and said rudely and almost annoyed, "do you have a question". I replied that I was waiting on my bag. She then said these are it and I said so my bag has been lost? Without any empathy AT ALL she again, rudely and now most definitely annoyed said Do you have your bag tag? I said yes and she proceeded to walk away to a corner office. I assumed I was to follow. She took my tag, no communication at all from her, I said what are you doing and she replied I have to file a claim. She then proceeded to tell me that Newark Airport was horrible and never travel through there if I know what's good for me. This was extremely unprofessional. I was simply wanting some guidance from her on what to expect etc. I had to ask her what my next steps were. She handed me a flyer and said if I had any questions to call baggage information listed on the pamphlet. I left. The next day at about 1 p.m. I called the number and the update said my bag had left the airport and was out for delivery. Keep in mind that I had to work the next day after the airline losing my bag and had to purchase shower items etc due to them being in my lost bag. Portland jetport and my home address is less than 40 minutes apart, yet my bag did not arrive at my home until 8:30 p.m. and I'm also not confident it would have ever arrived because I called around 7 p.m. and spoke with someone who called the delivery service to ask their ETA. I paid $25 to check my bag and yet it was lost. What did I pay for?! If I can help it, I will NEVER fly United again and I'll be certain to tell everyone I know about my experience with this airline."
Pros: "The plane and crew functioned well. From a purely technical stand-point the flight was a success, though it was delayed at Newark because the maintenance dept. took a good half hour to 45 minutes in transmitting its clearance to the captain."
Cons: "A lot of people of all ages, shapes, sizes, and dispositions were crammed into a comparatively small space. It was close and stuffy, very little space to stretch or move about when that was allowed. I'm not tall, but in terms of body mass I'm thicker and wider than many folks, but not obese, and my body thermostat tends to run on the warm side. So the flight was a bit of a physical and mental ordeal for me. The entertainment might have been great had my headphone port been operational. A previous passenger broke off the plug in the hole and the flight staff didn't have a pair of pliers on board to pull it out. Consequently, I was unable to listen to the media in-flight. Also, I couldn't recline my seat because the fussy older woman who sat behind me complained when I did, which made it difficult to snooze."

At one point, service members started calling out destinations and it became a free for all. Passengers jumped over each other and across the ropes to cut in front. Elderly and children were pushed aside. At the gate, it was announced "in 15 minutes, we will ask passengers needing help to board", followed immediately by another crew member "we are already boarding all passengers!", then right back to the first crew "we are not boarding yet, we will start boarding in 15 minutes". Confusion! Departure was listed on time, but we really left 40 minutes late."

Cons: "The staff was informative and had great energy, unfortunately though, I had a very hard time getting comfortable. I'm 5'5" and I had absolutely no leg room, I felt claustrophobic and uncomfortable the entire flight."
Cons: "Late late late. Delayed on both ends of both flights! It wasn't even raining! No explanation or support from airline. It's cheap for a reason: because it's a worthless airline! Just pay the extra money for a real flight and you might actually get there at a reasonable time. Also: you have to pay for carry on items, use that money towards flying on a better airline!"

Cons: "I didn't know how to rate food and entertainment since I didn't use those services. Why must the Frontier flights always be late? It was delayed both out to LasVegas and back to Milwaukee. Also, we were told that the flight to Milwaukee was delayed but it NEVER showed on the departures board nor was the time changed at the gate. These seem to be simple adjustments to make for all passengers to see that there was a change but it was never done and led to a lot of confusion."

Had to pay to check OR to carry-on. 2) Flew out of Chicago O'Hare - a major hub - and Frontier, Spirit, Virgin America, & Alaskan all shared a SINGLE security check. Yes ladies and gentleman, one security scanner. I have never in my life (usually fly American, United, or Southwest) waited more than 30 minutes to get through security. This time was well over an hour, I almost missed my flight. 3) On-board staff was friendly (all but one woman), but there were no complimentary beverages or snacks. I did pay for some & they were not too pricey, but having to whip out my credit card yet again made my whole travel experience feel far from effortless."
Pros: "The flight was cancelled 1-1/2 hours before the scheduled take-off [9 am flight on 12/16/15] without any explanation whatsoever. The counter representatives gave very inadequate instruction, and did not appear very compassionate to the customers. I had to wait on hold for a CSR for 50 minutes before I was helped. Then, it took 45 more minutes to schedule another flight on American Airlines. The whole event was unnecessarily stressful."
Cons: "We didn't even get to go on the plane. The flight was cancelled before we got to the airport. They gave us no explanation why it was cancelled. Also the information they gave us was terrible. A woman gave us a parse that said "call this number to reschedule" as soon as we called it, the reply was "I'm sorry we are closed try calling this number." It took about 2 hours to figure out how to get scheduled on a different airline."

Flight delayed for >3 hours- disorganized between landing terminal and baggage claim with no info Will never fly Frontier again unless they pay me."

Cons: "I did leave my freezer Ziploc bag of medication in the front seat pocket of my seat, called spirit and Mccarran airport in Las Vegas and said no one turned in the medication. Told me to call Chicago because that’s where the plane went after leaving Las Vegas, I called Chicago but have not gotten an answer back if it was turned in there. It’s my heart medication and my blood thinner which is very expensive and a couple of costume jewelry necklaces. I wish someone could help me locate this medication, it’s very expensive."

Then on the flight, a flight attendant told me my suitcase might not make it to Oakland unless I got off the plane and got onto a flight that arrived in Oakland at 11. I had an interview in Ukiah the next morning at 9:00, so I explained to the flight attendants and baggage representatives that I would be screwed if my luggage did not arrive in Oakland. My bag did make it but it was a constant struggle to get honest information, let alone any information out of Spirit staff, who gave me a heart attack for no reason."

Luckily there was some one from spirit at the bag claim we asked and she was able to track it down for the 5 of us who had no clue what was going on! Needless to say by the time all your fees were paid for we could of flown a better more comfortable airline for the same price!"

Once we landed in Las Vegas the pilot said the passengers can't leave the plane for 30 more minutes because the crue hasn't set up the device to properly get off the plane. The 30 minutes turned into 45..... Yes, you guessed it, we stayed in the plane even longer than that. After 1 hour We were finally able to leave the plane. So basically what initially was supposed to be a 4 hour flight, Detroit-Las Vegas, turned out to be 7:30 long hours. It safe to say that this is not a way the passengers should be treated by Spirit airlines and if they continue to do so I don't see bright future for this company. People have many other options to use different airline companies!!"
