Pros: "Of all the flights and airlines I have used this was definitely the top of my list . The aircraft was clean , the crew were polite, curious, and attentive nothing was too much trouble. The food looked good tasted good and was plentiful. The pyjama were a nice added touch and very comfortable for the long flight. Flying into Cardiff airport was so good for my intended destination. I would certainly recommend them to others and many airlines could learn from their example.Well done and thank you"

Entertainment service was horrible, old movies and typical Qatar Airline selection of Bollywood films (Expected when flying from Doha, but not New Zealand!) One flight attendant trying to serve both meal and drink to each person took a lot of time. Snacks offerings were almost non-existent. Those of us traveling on three connecting flights with no time to purchase food nor water had a rough time of it. Would not fly Qatar nor connect in Doha again unless absolutely necessary."

There was NO way to contact Quantas or go back or do anything to get my clothing back. No one at the airport had any suggestions for me. The airport phone that dialed Quantas was only for frequent flyer point inquiries. I have now been trying for a full day (three phone calls with zero helpfulness) to see if anything can be done. I understand that I made the mistake of forgetting my items but the 17 hour flight left me a bit spacey. I am super frustrated."

With running that late along with the grounds crew taking over an hour to get the bags off the plane, we along with many others missed our connecting flight. Based on the oh well attitude of the supposed manager at American Airlines/qantas I won't be taking qantas on my next trip."

Pros: "The crew was lovely and fairly attentive in business class. I had access to the First Class lounge in Sydney and it is wonderful. Even has a spa, though don't expect first class spa treatment. Uh, plane was clean and food was ok, but getting a cocktail was difficult."

There is a storage compartment on the seat in front of you, which you cannot reach without getting out of your seat.. While the seats do go flat, it's not something you can sleep on your side for long. Ended up reclined and sleeping on my back, which is not ideal. accessing my reservation was impossible and had to call Australia to get a seat assignment, which was reassigned by the time we checked in anyway. I care where I sit and book early to have choices. I hate to say it but I was not impressed."

Legroom was cramped -- As a 6'2" (188 cm) man, I always have request aisle seating but was given a middle row seat. These should be reserved for shorter passengers only who do not require many ups and downs from their seats during the flight. No one should have to pay to choose a seat ahead of time! Except Qantas, I've never seen an airline charge to choose a regular, non-premium seat. That is ridiculous to charge $30, especially when the airfare was over $1300."

Cons: "Plane departs at 1pm Sydney. Lights are turned off within a couple of hours, but for me, sleeping at 3pm is impossible. Point being? A later departure would be a help. Clearly not going to happen, but the timing of the flight to Sydney from DFW had been awesome."

I was of course inconvenient for this to happen but it was handled well."

They're quite service oriented, with attendants speaking multiple languages. The in-flight magazine was good but not available on every plane. The food was usually pretty good, and the live map was convenient."
Cons: "All of the flights were late (I had 6 of them on this trip, all thru Air Canada, and not a single one departed on time). All of my layovers were long, except one, which was planned to be about an hour but ended up being less than 30min. That one was a pain: had to go through Canadian customs and then run across the Toronto airport, but thankfully my next flight was still boarding - and ended up running late because they had to de-ice the plane. One of the flights ran late, and as we were reaching the gate a passenger felt the need to yell racist/ignorant comments at a fellow passenger who wouldn't sit down, and then the flight attendant - overall that was a real shame."

Cons: "Where do I start? Baggage check in is horrible and long. Wait in line for 1 hr with all counter open. Process just too long and too slow. Unclear of instruction for paying extra baggage. Security at gate taking too long to get through. Seat is too small, a larger person took almost 1/3 of my seat for the duration of flight and he wasn't that big. No noise control in aircraft, couldn't sleep at all (9hrs flight), kids and adult taking, playing like there home. The cabin smell very very unpleasant, due to body odor of passengers. Only 4 restroom for whole economy class, but 6 restrooms for 40 passengers of business class Due to the region of the air liner at, majority of passengers were rude, obnoxious, loud, and really really smell."

Pros: "Great free movie selection to watch on the flight!"
Cons: "The crew and gate check-in assistance is mediocre. Their attitude is one of indifference. This group is probably just a little better Spirit Airlines, which I consider the worst airline I have ever flown on. Also, I had to pay exorbitant flight change fees. These flight changes should be free. If I have the option, I will not use Air Canada in the future."

Pros: "Crew"
Cons: "The flight was delayed for a long time, after so many frequent changes. The airline did not even give an excuse or explanation for the changes and the delay."

Cons: "I paid to upgrade seating and on other airlines you get priority boarding and can store your bag in the overhead bin. Not the case with air canada...not great customer experience compared to delta or united."

Pros: "Crew was very nice and efficient in serving and helping you. The entertainment was nice, you could watch a movie or different TV shows if you wanted."
Cons: "The drink was a little small and they don't leave the can with you anymore, only the plastic cup drink is served in."

Cons: "Small legroom and poor selection in the entertainment provided via wifi"

Pros: "Clean, prompt, attentive staff"

Pros: "The gate agent was in a really good mood, and I made her laugh, so she bumped me into business class. The flight crew was awesome."
Cons: "Old, sad, smelly, loud, poor upholstery, seat structure so old and so stressed the guy in front of me was almost in my lap."

Cons: "Canada Airlines lost my luggage and I still don't have it."

Pros: "They have television screens"
Cons: "Boarding pathetic, crew not friendly, only paid alcoholic beverages, poor food, landing worst of all flights that I had."

Pros: "The movie selection and the food was great! The crew was friendly and helpful."
Cons: "The lack of space in the cabin was very uncomfortable."

Pros: "They were on time and the flight crew was very nice."
Cons: "The seats and the plane was just too small for such a long flight."

Cons: "There wasn't a food in the International flight. Air Canada is so crazy!"

Cons: "Announcements were not loud and clear when boarding. No complamentary food or snack was offered."

Pros: "The pilots did an amazing job navigating around a passing storm."
Cons: "Flight boarded late and then was delayed on the tarmac for an hour to unload baggage for passengers that did not make the flight due to security/customs. Minimal legroom"

Pros: "Never thought Canada air is so bad in international air services. Would never use Canada Air for my international travel in the future."
Cons: "no entertainment in flight during almost 3-4 hours of flying time."

Cons: "Everything from customer service to flight."

Pros: "Pros: The onboard crew was nice. The entertainment was good (nice selection of television and movies) There is an entertainment touch screen for each individual."
Cons: "Cons: They moved the gate THREE times! We had to walk all over the airport because they were so unorganized. The seats were VERY uncomfortable. It was difficult to sit for even a few hours. There are no snacks unless you pay. The entertainment touch screen is of poor quality."

Pros: "We really appreciated their attentiveness towards my mother who needed wheelchair assistance. We were both very impressed with the flight, crew, even the luggage was out in minutes after our arrival at the baggage claim. Thank you for your professionalism!"
Cons: "We upgraded to the bulk-head seats for the long 12-hour flight. The seat I had (second from the aisle) had the bolted framework (where the computer screen tucked into) sticking out. Since I'm short, this really interfered with my left leg room. On a normal flight, this probably wouldn't have even mattered, but since it was a 12-hour+ flight, and I paid an extra $120 to upgrade to that seat, it was a little disappointing. But, again, a small complaint to the great service we received."

Pros: "Flight crew was great."
Cons: "Delays--nearly an hour with both flights. AC was not working well on CMH-Toronto leg. We were told one unit was out."

Pros: "Crew was respectable and the food was good."
Cons: "The policy of having to check-in in order to have a seat is ridiculous and borderline racketeering. If one pays for a flight, they should get the ticket they paid for. It should not be based on whether they check-in because Air Canada wants to make more money on selling their seat because they didn't check-in. This is unacceptable. Since it's a company policy, my wife and I would enforce our own policy in response: we will choose not to fly Air Canada again."
