Why they would think we would want to fly on that plane after the pilot refused the "fix" and left because he and his crew "timed out" because we waited so long. Flight was scheduled to depart at 8:26pm, we didn't depart until well after 1am. I got home at 6am! The ladies at the gate were awesome, however the "supervisor, Armondo Gonzalez Figueroa, only came to restate what had already been said by the gate agents, did not have ANY answers, did not offer any solutions, barely answered any questions, and stopped the gate agents from removing blankets of the plane to provide to the many many passengers who were waiting there freezing. The compensation offered was a joke. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!"

I just don't understand why they didn't get new equipment and a new crew sooner. As it was they had to fly in a different plane in and flew up a crew from Ft. Lauderdale who flew us home to Ft. To avoid similar risk we went to FLL on the delayed flight, but we were responsible for transportation and hotel for 2 days! Pros: "I love the check in process!! You go to a kiosk and print your boarding pass and luggage tag and then just go and hand in your bag to an agent. Soooo easy. Then no ones in line forever. I was very impressed with the little extra amount of leg space that is not always on most planes. The flight wasn't very full and the crew was kind and generous with a couple of us wanting to switch our seats around. The tvs in the back of the headrest definitely kept me occupied watching New Girl. Overall, I was very comfortable and got to my destination without getting upset or angry once...which can't be said for all airlines."

It didn't take very long to get through...maybe 30-45 minutes (which I planned for) but the line snaked through two floors and wrapped through the check in area. It just looked incredibly daunting. But I realize that there isn't really much that can be done about that!"

We were told to exit the plane and go to another terminal but never explaned to take the shuttle . I took the Tran and had to go back through security and almost missed the plane. I was the last person to board. This was my 1st time traveling to that airport. No way to know that the Tran would require me to pass through security checkpoint again. Get better communication with people. The lady at the desk was just saying go to terminal A! They should have had a person directing all of us to go to the shuttle and bussed us to the terminal."

I think it is ridiculous that you do not have staff at the kiosk for your early morning flights. This type of service is unacceptable!"

You have to be very careful that you understand all the rules about baggage and seating (don't pay extra-they'll just assign you one, and you probably won't sit with your traveling companion). Great as long as you can fit everything you need into a bag that fits under the seat in front of you. got TSA pre-check both ways, too. yippee."

Another great factor of using Frontier is that they keep you up to schedule with your flight by sending you emails from the morning of until your flight departs to insure you don't miss a gate change or flight delays."

I cannot believe that the airline is charging $40 bags for a carry on!!!!!! Also I had to pay an additional $27 each so my husband and I could sit together. Shame on you frontier. Of given the choice I will NEVER fly with this airline again. Everyone I tell about my experience has their own negative story to tell about Frontier. I suggest you change your practice before you go out of business. My final cost was double the original price of my original ticket. Just price the ticket as it should be."

Pros: "Although I paid extra for my carry-on ($45; which I was aware of, but some people may not be) the flight attendants were friendly and professional. They were courteous upon stepping onto the plane and throughout the duration of the flight. The seats were comfortable, and overhead space was plentiful. My 2.5 hour flight from Tampa to PHL was shortened to 2 hours. Overall, it was a great experience flying Frontier for my very first time."

Pros: "Pilot was a cowboy, quick taxi and fast flight, arrived at gate 45 minutes early. On a late flight, the early arrival was a welcomed outcome."
Cons: "I checked a hard case fishing rod tube that contained a brand new fishing rod. The case can be opened from the top and side and both can be locked. The side was the only thing locked and top opening had a simple clip on it so anyone could to easily open it up and inspect the inside. Someone cut the side lock off, took the case apart obviously looking for something and then jammed everything back together securing the cut off lock with a zip tie. After I got home late that night I noticed my lock was cut off and rod broken in 2 pieces. Very disappointed, hopefully someone at Frontier reimburses me for the damage."

Cons: "Actually the tickets were cancelled due to my wife"s (KARAMJIT K UBEROI ) sudden sickness and in spite of promise by your customer service to re credit to my Credit Card, later on denied the same .However a flight credit for the amount was provided to use within three months .We were harassed by making repeated faxes and make calls nearly dozen times."

Pros: "INITIALLY, I was thrilled with the low price. That changed radically when I found out that Frontier charges for everything except air. The crew was polite and informative and let us know what was happening with our hour-plus delay."
Cons: "Didn't like the new seats and the tiny tray--very uncomfortable and practically useless. That said, I wasn't going to use the tray anyway (couldn't even put a tablet on it) for food, as Frontier is charging for food and water. At the time, I was not aware that I would be charged separately for baggage, including carry-on bags. If I had been, I would have MAILED my luggage to my final destination, as it would have been cheaper. My family of four turned out to have five bags, which added approximately $500 to the roundtrip cost of the tickets, or MORE than it cost for the tickets. That's right, flying the people (who weigh more than luggage) turned out to be cheaper than flying the bags. Look, if you want to encourage people to check bags, make checking the bag FREE. If you're just looking for a revenue stream, then you should be up front about what the costs will be. (But then people would be less inclined to book your "cheaper" tickets, wouldn't they?) Also, the flight wound up being delayed for over an hour, though my phone and the Frontier website continued to show "on time" status."

Pros: "Counter person said next flight he could book us on was Jan 03, 6 days later. We ended up renting a car and driving from Chicago to Philly. If there had been an ounce of concern over our condition by this worker I would feel differently, but Frontier will get no more of my familiy's business."

Pros: "The seats had a surprising amount of legroom, and the staff was nice (though i'm not sure why there were as many as a normal flight from another airline, since they don't do anything beyond the safety demo)"
Cons: "You are not adequately made aware that you will be charged for carry on unlike other airlines. And in doing so, the price of the ticket goes from being impressively cheap to being more than a flight from another airline that has more included amenities, like actual refreshements and free carry-ons. You also get charged for just selecting a seat, not a special seat, but ANY SEAT AT ALL. So the price you initially see when searching for flights is quite misleading. In reality, you should ad at least 50 bucks to any frontier ticket to get a truer picture of what the price would be for a normal passenger with a single carry-on that wants a particular seat."

Cons: "Hidden fees! Seat fees, checks. Bag fees. And what the **** is a carry-on bag fee? And after paying $75 to have two small bags TOTAL, y'all lost my luggage? Never again."

Cons: "This was my first time using Frontier Airlines. The price and schedule met my needs. After paying $30/each way for checking my bag plus paying for a seat (would they allow me to stand?) not sure it was so good a price. The worst was when three flights came in at the same time and ALL the luggage was sent to the same area. I WAITED AN HOUR TO GET MY SUITCASE."

Cons: "Picture the waiting room at the Social Security office... Turned into an airplane... Same seats, same people! Here's the cherry on top of this Turd Sundae: Kayak sent me an email saying the flight was delayed an hour, I show up an hour later and it turns out the plane was never delayed! I almost missed the flight! I'm never flying Frontier or using Kayak again."

Cons: "Worst costumer service I have ever dealt with. Spoke with three employees that each told me to do something different. Finally, spoke to a department head and was told that his employees were misspoken. Who trains these guys?"

Pros: "The staff was helpful and polite. Although plane was delayed it still arrived in good time."
Cons: "Not much leg room. Paying to pick your seat is ridiculous when traveling with family."

Pros: "By far the cheapest flight...and it was non-stop. No problems with anything. Would definitely use again. Some of the people complaining should do their homework. Everything is spelled out in terms of costs."

Pros: "Absolutely the worst airline I have ever been on! You buy the ticket under the assumption you got a great deal. What they do not not tell you is that when you purchase an economy ticket, which everyone buys except first class you have to pay for carry on. Your first checked in bag costs $40, any bag after that is $45. So my carry on bag cost $45! Between my husband and I we spent a total of $170 on luggage for two checked bags and two carry ons. So if you are bringing any luggage with you, go on a different airline, you will save money by the end of the day. Also, all drinks and food are for purchase."

Cons: "The captain said no gates were available so they delayed our flight for an hour after they let us board the plane. Almost all of the gates in the terminal were available when we got to Philadelphia. Frontier doesn't give out free drinks or peanuts on the flight. They also charge $5 extra if you don't check your bag online. The seat doesn't recline. Frontier is by far the worst airline ever!!!!"

Cons: "I didn't like paying for a seat that I already purchased. Perhaps I'm "old fashioned" in that when I buy a ticket, I automatically get a seat. But at check-in when given my seat selection I could choose $13 seats or $20 seats. I thought this wasn't allowed anymore in that your purchase price is the price you pay unless you upgrade to a better seat."

Pros: "The pilot was very friendly, I liked his tie. The copilot was also friendly."
Cons: "The rest of the staff were rude and unprofessional. The chairs were so uncomfortable. There was no complimentary drink, and when you ask for just water the staff rolls their eyes and gives it to you as if it was the biggest inconvenience for them. When they approach you with the cart they say, "Is anyone purchasing anything?" I also didn't like that there was hardly any announcements on the loudspeaker to let us know about what is happening, or when we might approximately be landing."

Cons: "flight was an hour off with no explanation as to the cause. Seats did not recline and were terribly uncomfortable."

Cons: "Agendas were extremely rude and disrespectful. I had a family issue causing me to drive to my destination, and kept my flight so I could fly home. When I went to check in online, there was no itinerary to be found. I called, and they said since I was a "no show", it was cancelled and I could not be reimbursed. I offered to use it as credit and get a new flight, paying the difference. This request was declined. The agents on the phone were very rude. Spirit nickel and dimes you, has no available seats, doesn't feed you, and the planes are small. I will never attempt to take this airline again."

Pros: "Compared to Frontier I liked the smooth moving lines for bag check ins, and a ground person helping folks backed up on flights that were boarding and in a panic. The flight crew was nice."

The website says if you don't have the code, contact us. (This is where you really get fucked) Called 801-401-2222 as stated on the website, no one will ever get on the phone, it's a trap. This airline and this company, and all of it's representatives, shareholders, employees, and management can SUCK MY DICK!!!"

Pros: "Flight to Chicago was great- early- arrived early- good service- no issues- I was impressed- but the way back was less than enjoyable"
Cons: "the plane was delayed to the point that when we arrived, there were no spirit staff at baggage claim, and when some luggage got stuck on the conveyor, there was no one to get us our luggage- it took an hour (at 2AM) for us to find someone to come and get our stuff for us. The man who did, did so, even though it wasn't his job- and he was very helpful- but the lack of staff and assistance left a very bad taste in our mouth toward Spirit."

Pros: "I LOVED the price and the insintives of free miles but not even complimentary coffee or soda cans! I mean THREE DOLLARS FOR A CAN OF SODA!!!"

A same day round-trip flight from Philadelphia to Atlanta that would normally be one hour and forty minutes each way, took three and half hours in the morning and five and half hours in the evening, and by-the-way weather was not a factor. Cons: "The crew on the flight was extremely unprofessional, suggesting that we don't "hurt one another" when we are free to take other open seats. Also, the seriousness of the crew and the responsible feeling that I normally get from a flight crew was not there. The pilot was good. But the attendants were telling " jokes". An airplane is not a comedy club. I like to feel safe, and that the staff is capable in the event of an emergency. Also, the plane seemed dirty with advertisements inside the cabin for a specific hotel in Vegas. This gave the plane a very ghetto feeling."

Cons: "Delayed flight in hour-long intervals over four hours, only to finally cancel at 1 am with no explanation. Weather was fine, no mechanical complications. We were left stranded at O'Hare at 2 am...next flight wasn't until 9 pm the NEXT night. Terribly rude attendants. Awful, pitiful excuse for an airline. This happened once before (only other time we tried to fly with Spirit, except the next flight was ONE WEEK later). Just awful. No other words for this terrible airline and laughable service."

Pros: "We didnt receive our suitcase in GA (12/22). we waited at the airport for 3 horus and they couldnt figure out where the suitcase went. Then we filled a claim form. my Fatherinlaw was in the car waiting for us for 3 hours. We went home and realized my meds are in the suitcase. I called a few times but they still couldnt track the bag. We had to go shopping for clothes because we had a party that night and I had to buy cosmetic, clothes, toilterites, etc. it was a waste of time. Time I could be spending with my family. Me, my husband and my inlaws called a few times next day (12/23) asking for an update but no one had a clue where the bag is. At this point, we had no idea where to bag is so we had to go shopping again and buy more clothes for next few days. Again, more time, money, gas in car, other people time that had to drive us invested… it was very frustrating. I take a lot of meds which makes me anxious and this created a huge stress on my Christmas vacation. All of my gifts I got for our family was in the suitcase. This was a very frustrating time for me and my husband, not knowing if the family will have gifts ontime. Also, my laptop charger was in the suitcase so I had to take days off from work. We called again a few times on 12/24. we called in again and no answer. We drove all the way to the airport and spoke to a really nice lady. We were at the airport for hours. She couldn’t track the luggage so we went home disappointed. Keep in mind, this was Christmas eve and I could have spent all this time shopping, driving to the airport, to busy stores. By this time I gave up on the bag and accepted we have lost it… I was very very upset because all of my gifts, new clothes I got for the vacation, my cosmetic, my husband’s electronics… We had more than 3K worth stuff in the suitcase. I couldn’t even get hold of the customer service to talk to someone. This was Christmas eve.. and my husband was still trying to call someone. Finally got hold of someone and they said that the bag was in Philly and will get to the house next day 1pm. Ok, great, atleast they could track the bag… Anyways, 1pm next day, no bag..we tried calling all day, but no answer. Finally my husband got hold of someone and they said that the bag will be deliver Xmas night. WOW! But ok. Whtever at this point. We waited all evening.. then called again. They didn’t answer. Finally around 10pm they answered and told my husband that we are 5th in line for the bag delivery and they wont be able to get to us until late in the night. My husband agreed to the time. They called us 230am and asked to verify address which I am glad they did because they had a wrong address. Anyways, my husband was on the phone texting/ calling for directions and finally the bag came at 4am…. The suitcase was damaged. Gladly nothing was missing… HOWEVER, the frustration for the whole week made my Christmas trip a really bad one… I am very big on customer service so it frustrates me that we were not able to contact anyone to get answer.. I understand that the luggage could get lost but not being able to track it for days while you are on vacation in a different state??!!! It was the most frustrating thing me and my family had to deal with. Also, I paid $50 both sides to check in a bag which I didn’t use. I got the bag 4am 12/26, the day I flew back home… so I paid all that money to check in my bag for stuff I never used. Glad I was able to give gifts to my family the day after Christmas. Also, all the stuff I bought for the week including clothes, cosmetic, charger so I can work from home, etc. I had to ship the stuff back which I paid for…. AWFUL experience."

Cons: "Flight was delayed with no explanation given, Spirit charges exorbitant bag fees even for carry-on luggage, which isn't made very clear when you book. Charging more for carry-on bags instead of checked bags means that I had to waste even more time waiting for my bag to come through baggage claim on both legs."

Cons: "didn't ride because their plane wasn't able to hold most of the people on the plane (including myself) so I was booked on a completely different flight with AA."

Cons: "This may not be a totally accurate review for this specific flight, since it never happened because it was CANCELLED. Spirit Airlines in general is a horrible airline company to deal with. Constant delays, TERRIBLE customer service, absolutely NO refund policy, and ridiculous rebooking times. My flight was cancelled due to a huge winter storm, and Spirit said they couldn't book me til FOUR days after my original fly-out date. I have never had a good experience with Spirit - cramped seating and never have been on a Spirit flight that left on time. I will never be flying with this company again."

Cons: "Seats were cramped and uncomfortable; flight delayed so long I missed my time for rental car....had to get another from adifferent company."

Cons: "Spirit is the worst airline. They claim to be affordable, but charge for basic flight accessories. A carry-on costs $55, and a checked bag costs $52. You can't even get free water in-flight."

Cons: "I missed my flight. Spirit cancelled my entire ticket because of that. The round trip was cancelled. Nonsense. I lost all my money. I had to book another ticket."
