Everything went very smoothly boarding and getting seated. Food, service, and entertainment onboard made it a pleasent journey.
Seat-backs are not shaped like a human spine. They curve away from the occupants lower back rather than providing lumbar support and curve back in at the occupants shoulders. This means a person in a proper sitting position has only two points of contact with the seat-back. One short session with any occupational health specialist would point out a lot of problems with these seats.
We enjoyed the movies on the flight, made the time go quicker.
When we checked in at Newark airport, the check-in counter informed us that we were not seated together! We booked this flight over six months ago and were returning from our honeymoon to start our new life together. You can imagine how irritated we were that we would be on an 8 hour flight seated in different parts of the plane. The woman working at the check-in counter at Newark was unsympathetic, she said that it was a full flight and there was nothing she could do. However, she said she could upgrade us for 300 USD each... ha! So it costs $600 to sit next to each other?? Her reply "That's our policy." No apology, no understanding, just a robot blaming the company policy. We both fly a lot and we have never heard of such a "policy".
Even though I had ordered a "seafood meal" on the return trip by telephone 2 days before my flight, they said they had no special meal in my name. However, the stewardess was very nice and apologetic and for breakfast, brought me an extra fruit cup! ( for the breakfast, they had meat on the main plate). Her name was Alexandra on flight

Everything, especially the entertainment. Food was delicious as well and the flight attendants were very accommodating.
Small screen tv's that were mounted on the bathroom walls at the middle of the plane remained on during sleeping time and were too bright. Difficult to sleep during this as the scenery pictures continually changed.
We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.
We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.
Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.
If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us, please send us an
and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
The fares displayed in KAYAK ads found on other sites include all taxes and fees for economy class travel and were found
by KAYAK users in the last 72 hours. Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights and days.
Fares are subject to change and may not be available on all flights or dates of travel. Some carriers charge
additional fees for extra checked bags. Please check the carriers' sites.
Hacker Fares sell tickets to/from a destination via different airlines and are subject to the booking
requirements and terms of each. Any changes made to one of your tickets will not necessarily afford
rights to change the other ticket. Fares change frequently and are subject to availability.
