Cons: "If you want to reserve your airline seat (I'm talking a standard economy seat) you have to pay $34 per seat if it's 24 hours or more before your flight. Guess what happens at 24 hours? The airport takes over and you're stuck in the middle of a crowded 10.5 hour flight all because you weren't able to select your seat ahead of time. Just another money grab from a tanking airline."

Cons: "At least give us coffee, having to pay for absolutely everything isn’t particularly nice after a long flight from NY. Perhaps offer complimentary coffee to travelers who connected from elsewhere, at least."

Cons: "There was no food or entertainment thus the star rating. The one thing that was very uncomfortable were the seats, there was no lower back support at all."

Cons: "I can't remember a more cramped and uncomfortable flight. Missed connection on way Paris and we arrived 6 hours late. It took British airways 3 days to get our lost luggage to us. Delayed on way back, adding 4 hours to our trip because the first plane was not "serviceable" and they had to get a replacement. They arbitrarily decide who has to much carry on luggage and force you to check it last minute at the gate while letting others with same size bags take them on the plane. Certainly no better than bargain flights and possibly worse. Why pay extra? No more British Airways for us."

Pros: "flawless flight, pleasant captain, friendly crew, free drinks, better than average food, enough food, toilet rooms not crowded, entertainment as good as can be expected, charging stations, reclining seats to the extreme"
Cons: "music could have more variety. window shade jammed... could not close, light broken, impossible to extricate oneself from seats due to reclined seats in front."

Pros: "The plane was updated. But did not have outlets on coach for charging a laptop. It did have USB ports and a lot of movies and entertainment. Also had good food."

Cons: "Plane was honestly very dirty. There was a ton of crumbs and gross stuff in th seat back pocket. Which I did not even use because I didn't want any of my things to touch. The overhead lights were covered in dust. So make sure you have some some type of cleaning wipes with you!! I do understand that I was flying economy, but that doesn't mean nothing should be cleaned."

Cons: "We were grounded for three hours, were not offered any food or drink, and when the plane finally took off the attendants offered meager food and charged for it. I would think the least they could’ve done Was to make it complementary.Bad manners by the airline."

Cons: "Left the terminal building by bus to the aircraft. Had to exit the bus, WALK ACROSS the tarmac and up a set of stairs to the plane. REALLY, British Air couldn't find a proper gate at the terminal? What if it had been raining or my elderly mother that needs a wheel chair? BA needs to solve these problems fast if they want my service in the future."

Pros: "Flight was smooth and on time. Good flying the 777. Lots of open seats in a not so full flight. The food was good for economy class and the flight attendants very attentive and looking for ways to serve."
Cons: "The arm rests of the seating would not fold all the way up to allow me to spread to the 2 empty seats next to me. I laid across all 3 seats and tried to sleep, however had the armrest jammed into my back and legs. Also, it took too long for the cabin crew to get the passengers convinced to close the window shades, so the cabin was brightly lit for the entire flight."

Cons: "We lost our in-flight entertainment just a couple hours into the flight... the staff did all they could to try to fix it to no avail, and collected blue cards from all passengers affected. They were very nice. There was nothing they could do."

It was incredible frustrating and could have very easily been avoided with communication from the airlines"

I was not able to reserve seats online for some reason; therefore the staff at check in should know that they should try to reserve three seats together for a parent traveling with two pre-teen kids."

Their complete lack of cooperation was stunning and quite offensive. A different tune was played by the airport staff for international connections who helped us expeditiously and kindly to be rerouted on an United Airlines flight."

Pros: "I generally fly business or first but not this flight I felt like we were treated like we were in first class the attendants was great. Really great. I became a believer in British on this flight!"

Cons: "The fact that the plane took off more than enough hours late with no communications to the passengers.the collect email and phone number berserk but not once sent any information about the delay when we finally got on the plane, we to wait another 40 minutes because there was only one luggage loader and it was being used on another plane. I even asked a flight attendant if I should speak to someone and she said no because it will "be sorted when we get to London."It wasn't"

Pros: "boarding plane via two entrances simultaneously flight departure was ON TIME"
Cons: "Boarding process was essentially a stampede. all general boarding called at once Ridiculous number of levels of elite/first class/preferred/platinum/gold club members. You're going to run out of elements to name your BS elitist clubs after. There seems to be a trend where flight attendants physically lean in and force passenger seats upright prior to landing. I appreciate the frustration, but I don't like being caught in the crossfire when they lean over me to do it."

Pros: "Gate attendant was a superstar."
Cons: "6 hour delay due to part that St. Louis sent for - twice. Will never fly through ST Louis again on AA. Terrible Domino's pizza and water were complimentary after 4 hours delay. Returned to gate twice. 11 a.m. flight arrived at 9:30 PM ( 3 hr flight). Poor gate attendant was left to fend for herself as she was fed false and contradictory information."

Pros: "Why would a jet this size wobble all the way across the Atlantic! The pretzels were even stale, and they served a "pizza" that was a stale mini loaf with sauce and a little mozzarella. People were starving when breakfast was served. The thermostat fluctuated from horribly hot to freeing - for 14 hrs. The crew slammed things down on table trays, grumped, were giving harsh orders to patrons rather than gently directing them. These ladies do not enjoy their job. I am done with Delta. We were also an hour late taking off due to a door on a cargo hold not closing. I was embarrassed that our Aussie friends experienced this as their first American flight."
Cons: "Food, attitude of flight attendants, comfort of cabin. Pilot took charge of thermostat issue and kept us informed in a friendly manner regarding the status of our take off and flight progress."

Cons: "Seemed to be an unnecessary delay in departing a half hour late"

Cons: "I nearly missed my flight because I did not have a seat for a flight that I bought a ticket for at full price. Which, would lead one to believe that I would have a seat on said flight. However, coming to the gate an hour before boarding the personnel working gate the said he was having computer difficulties and could not get me a seat and it would be 10 min. I continued to return till boarding to find out I had no seat and I was on standby. Upon going to customer service they replied the airline oversold tickets and every airline does this as if to make this practice ok. Well being in sales myself and if I were to sell x amount of product to one customer ( or several) I better make sure I have it all there to deliver. People rely on you schedule wise. It nearly shot a meeting I had to make in the foot. Very disappointed with the airline and the way things were handled."

Cons: "This was my return trip with more delays due to maintenance issues of the aircraft. 10/17/16 flight 1585 was the outgoing flight delayed five hours on my departing trip. I waited at the baggage carousel 15 minutes for my bag after over an hour delay due to switching aircrafts. With a flight arriving this late in the evening with the low volume of bags checked (due to checked luggage charges), this should not be the case. Five minutes to gulp down ginger ale."

Cons: "Attempted to make my connection which was in another terminal. Could not get onboard as they shut the doors. My rerouted flight was in a different terminal. Overall a very disappointing travel experience."

Cons: "With checking my luggage my bag fee was waived a total of seven times this trip because I'm a military wife to see my husband overseas who is serving a year in Saudi Arabi except this past time on October 2nd at DCA airport. Spoke with the Supervisor Ralph who stated it was against policy. How stringent is this policy if it was waived seven times previously? Policy needs to be reviewed with entire staff. I will no longer use American Airlines because their military convenience and policies no longer seem to favor the military. My husband also after speaking with him will also no longer use your airline including all his members he overseas when they return after their year tour."
