Pros: "Never was able to get on flight airport evacuated because of security breach. Mass confusion and unable to get back through security in time to catch flight still waiting to be rebooked."

Cons: "temperature in the Premium Economy sections was freezing. Me and the person next to me wore 3 blankets each and were still shivering from the cold. The windows had ice on them (on the outside of course). Several people got up and wore their jackets and sweaters in addition to the blankets. In the Economy section the temperature was just fine (my husband sat there) and we had to alternate seats so that I don't freeze. He paid extra for me to have a more comfortable arrangement, but it ended up being way too cold. That did not happen on the way to Europe..."

There was a medical emergency on the flight and I thought the cabin crew did a very nice job of remaining calm, requesting assistance from an on-board doctor and handling the situation overall. The food was good and served hot. The flight was on-time and really very few complaints. It was a nice trip."

Cons: "Lufthansa struck when I tried to fly from Kansas City to Napoli Italy on September 08, 2015. I was delayed four days. It took me 5 hours to rebook my flight. Then when returning to Kansas City on November 12, 2015, they had another strike. This time I was forced to purchase 3 days of motels and expenses. It took me 6 hours of making phone calls to rebook my flight. I kid $100 extra to choose my seats since I have PTSD from 24 months straight in Iraq. I panic when I feel confined. So I choose my seats carefully. And now on both trips, Lufthansa chose my seats for me. Just pisses me off all the way around."

Tried to rephrase the question and she persisted without trying to understand, rolling her eyes and swearing under her breath. Oh, and did I mention the part where we had to pay for our checked bags again? 75€ per bag. For me and my wife, that's the equivalent of a third ticket for our flight. May as well had our luggage fly next to us. So rude staff and exorbitant pricing for things that somehow weren't logged through third party. Cheers! (Sarcasm)"

Qhen we went to board the shuttle bus to the tarmac we were.pullednout of the.line and made to wait 25 minutes and ended up.being the last people to board. We arrived at the airport 2 hours in advance and cpuld have handled this in.advance if we had been notified properly. The BA employee checking us in didn't care that he pulled us and made us wait.... we were very unhappy as to how this was handled."

Pros: "Our original flight was delayed an hour, then 4 hours, then eventually cancelled. The last gate crew gave us no updates other than saying it was being delayed to a maintenance check. We eventually had to rebook our direct flight from ORD to CDG to then ORD to LHR and then to CDG. Because of this delay we missed most of our first day in Paris. The flight crew from LHR to CDG was very polite and friendly! I will be doing business with British Airways again in the near future. I will not be doing business with American Airlines anytime soon. Neither will my friends and family once they find out about my horrible experience with their lackluster customer service."

Altho this flight was 'billed' as a British Airways flight, it was operated by American. A little confusing when one thinks they are ticketing on a specific carrier only to be 'baited and switched' to another. That said, the equipment was in great condition, the video worked during the flight, the movie choices were very current. The food was airplane food. What more can one say."

AA in Chicago switched me to United airlines and they charged me $75 for baggage. It was a series of unfortunate events, however I was out of pocket extra money due to a delay by British Airways."

I really had a very good experience with American and though they tend to be more expensive they seem to be worth it in terms of comfort and amenities. I am willing to spend the extra money on Anerican if they continue to provide better than average service."

I wondered if this was some way to avoid paying taxes by funneling an US registered corporation fees through a Spanish registered corporation. It didn't make sense to me. Please look at British airway and other airline vegetarian menus for Better sense."

The real problem is that this is no sign or communications describing this. Everyone is simply stopped in the corridor and told that they cannot proceed farther until their name comes up green on a monitor. Unfortunately the monitor switches displays so frequently that it is almost impossible to read. In addition to that it seems names do not always appear on the monitor unless you get your boarding pass scanned a the desk (this is not communicated to you unless you ask why your name is not on the monitor at all). People late for connecting flights (because of inbound flight delays) are required to wait without explanation sometimes needlessly if they don't have a checked bag. A nightmare if you're trying to make your connection. In addition once you've cleared that hurdle you need to go through security again (something we were unprepared for since we were already in the secure area. You then proceed to customs and then your connecting flight (if you haven't already missed it by then). Allow lots of time to get to your connecting flight, and ask to get you boarding pass scanned at that mysterious "checked bag" stop in the corridor."

When I went to the counter she pointed at, I was told again I would have to go to another counter. No offense to dog owners, but the animals that were traveling received better assistance."

They all were french and never were they stopped with their heavy bags "Oh" the "security" guy said "I thought you were English!" "Not so" said this Irishman "And you are racist". To no avail and all part of Air france's business plan to charge the dreaded Estranger extra. Never again will I fly Air France. Id rather take a train, drive or even walk. Very bad experience start to finish and yes so very Air France; well Air Italia too.."

I spent hours on line getting a boarding pass in Munich, and then again another in Rome (in Munich no one was given boarding passes for connecting flights). I spend hours again in lines to get a boarding pass for a flight to Palermo, missing my connection and only getting a much later flight to Palermo. It was utter confusion. Shame on Al Italia."
