We missed our connection and had to wait 3 more hours for the next flight - We were somewhat lucky as multiple flights were delayed/cancelled that day - I will avoid using Virgin Atlantic in the future as they need Delta and British operate their flights and this makes it prone to issues like that"

This resulted in appropriate food not being available to the customer on the flight from Boston to Amsterdam. The customer had to literally starve on the flight. 3. The pursers and stewards on the flight from Boston to Amsterdam weren't pleasant and courteous at all. For anything they were asked, their responses ."

The plane had a landing gear failure. It got rerouted to Pisa. Then lufthansa drove us 3 hours to Verona in the middle of the night with a crazy fast taxi driver. Now we are stuck in Verona for 2 days and they stripped me of my business class flight. What a terrible airline!

The plane was about 30 minutes late which was nice because it took a while to get off our Munich flight, find our new gate and we ended up nearly running to the gate."
Cons: "I, again, didn't like walking down 3 flights of stairs, getting a crowded bus to take us to the plane. We are used to using a jetway to the plane. I realize that European airports are busier than American airports though."

Cons: "I liked everything except the cookie. It reminded me of the low quality supermarket American cookies, way too sweet and flavorless. They used to give little sandwiches, excellent in quality!!! A cookie is good too, but a better one would do a great difference! It was early morning, who would eat a sugary chocolate chip cookie for breakfast? But otherwise, I would fly with Lufthansa again in a heartbeat!!! Thank you!!!!!!"

On my flight had one passenger got sick before boarding, the crew had responded very quick to support his life. And great entertainment."

I left my head phone on the plane, spoke with a Lufthansa rep they called and said I would not have time to go back for them but they would send them to me. then the flight going from Munich to Frankfurt was late so I missed my flight from Frankfurt to Dusseldorf. Waited for 3 hours then the flight to Dusseldorf was canceled. waited for 2 hours for a train ticket. then had to take another train to the airport to get a rental car. GOT TO THE HOTEL AT 11:30pm Saturday night had to be at work at 7:00am NOT HAPPY"

Pros: "Timely distribution of meals/drinks, uncommonly quick boarding and ... unboarding. I travel with a musical instrument and some airlines want to check it and some even insist on checking it, even though there is always plenty of room. This was a completely full flight and no one even mentioned the possibility of checking it; they put me in an early boarding line and put it in a closet. The way they handle this for myself and the other passenger with an instrument made our day, as well as making boarding smoother forbus and everyone else. Really excellent job on that!"
Cons: "Old televisions with somewhat limited entertainment options. Im tall and every seat in coach is too small for me, but thats the case on every flight ive been on."

Cons: "I had paid for comfort seats ($140) extra. When I checked in at gate I was given another seat assignment (without explanation). It turned out to not be comfort seat, in fact it was the last row in the airplane. Had to get eh gate agent back, which was not fast. She said flight was full and a family had been spread out. I understand, but you can't just bump me from a paid and selected seat to a standard seat, especially on transatlantic flight after paying $140 extra. There was no apology. She went back to gate and little while later came back with a comfort seat. Some people seem not to have shown up as the seat next to me stayed open as well. It was very poorly handled."

Cons: "No on offered me anything to drink or a snack the entire flight or even a hand towel but others in front and behind me were receiving them. I didnt even feel acknowledged during the flight. Even though the tine was good, the price was way too high but since I was desperate I paid it."

Cons: "Hottest I have ever been in a plane (we were in 40G and H) and I “run cold”. We were sweating and drinking water like crazy (they gave us one bottle and did not routinely walk the aisles handing out more). Luckily we brought our own water. Early June and headed to Scandinavia, not someplace hot. Seats were hard and I put my unused blankets under me."
Pros: "I think it must have been a brand new plane. Good comfort. USB-charger for each seat."

Guess having a 3 year old wasn’t enough for us to get any compassion or expedited service. At gate. No early boarding for children."

Cons: "Cramped in a tiny seat behind someone well over 6’5 who kept slamming his seat back to get more room. We were later diverted for a person on the flight who had health issues all the way back to Canada when we were practically over Ireland. We flew back I believe an hour and a half back only to not have proper fuel equipment which took fueling forever and caused our crew to go past their duty day which made use get diverted again to Iceland for a new crew and even more gas. We were held on the plane for a total of 8 additional hours! We were never allowed to get off the plane, we were given very minimal food and drink the additional 8 hours, and when my girlfriend asked what was going on your information person in Copenhagen said they had no idea what was going on with my Flight and had no idea where it was."

This was the first international flight I've been on where even small snacks such as peanuts or pretzels are for purchase only. Plus the flight attendants seem to be disorganized and in rush. I will never use SAS again."
Cons: "The agent at the gate misled me into thinking there would be no fee associated with a checked bag. When it turned out there was, I was told it was too late."

Cons: "Never been on an international flight where I had to pay for my own wine. Plus the entertainment was broken and the food was terrible."

Cons: "We paid over $75 for each piece of checked luggage. We could have saved 40% by pre-purchase but were not warned when purchasing our flights for almost the same price as the cost of the luggage."
Cons: "This is my first international flight that didn't include complimentary beverages. No free wine or alcohol, and only ONE complimentary beverage on the entire 9 hour flight! They only came around ONCE with the beverage cart! (and this was like an hour and a half before they served dinner, which didn't include a drink). They also only came around and offered water ONCE on the flight. Normally this would be every 1-2 hours. Also, the flight was delayed by about 2 hours, and they didn't make an announcement until we were about an hour late. Thankfully, I was getting updates from Kayak, or else I wouldn't have even known we were delayed."
Pros: "The airline is very professional and the crew were very courteous."
Cons: "During my layover, the airline did not post the gate for my flight to Athens until an hour before, which caused me to have to run across the terminal to another set of gates."

Cons: "We boarded late. There was no boarding announcement. A guy walked up in front , as to wait for the announcement and she waved him up. The rest of the gate just started forming several lines. Very unorganized. The we sat on the plane for about a half hour. At least there was an announcement that two people were missing so they had to remove their luggage. 40 minutes late into Longyearbyen."
Pros: "We were within a reasonable range of on time arriving, although we were delayed 30 minutes at the start due to fueling issues. Crew was average: no problems, no extraordinary acts of kindness. Great selection of movies to watch onboard."

Pros: "The seats were comfy and the food was good. Air temperature was pleasant, not too war, or cold."
Cons: "Was no offered water during the flight. We had a bottle of water in the seat pocket but at no point during the flight were we offered additional water. I saw people get up and ask for some but when the flight is 9 hours you would think they would come by once or twice offering some. Other airlines do this and I love it. I was so thirsty when getting off the flight that I downed 2 bottles of water at the airport. They also didn't offer complimentary alcohol. Other international flights offer an alcoholic drink with your meal free of charge and I appreciate that. I have a bit of anxiety when I fly and that helps take the edge off. I was really disappointed in this. Heck, Air Berlin comes around and refills your wine glass multiple times."
Cons: "Most other airlines recognize their top tier members - even if they occasionally fly economy. SAS does really NOT"
Cons: "Flight was canceled, waited around for two hours with little to no information, before finally getting booked on a flight the next day. I lost 24 hours of my trip."
Cons: "Connection time in Copenhagen was short. While I got to the gate in time, my checked bag did not, and I had to wait for it for 3 hours in Zürich (or have it forwarded, but I planned too much travel in Switzerland to make this a useful option)."
