Horrible Alaska experience. Terrible congestion at airport due to a strike. Couldn't get a luggage ticket. Had to wait in huge line to get one, then told it was the wrong line, then the delay was so bad they wouldn't check me in. Offered a next day flight. What a joke. United got me where I was going.

I never heard anyone being directly reprimanded or corrected for not wearing a mask or not covering their nose while boarding or walking around the cabin. I was very surprised to find out the flight was 100% full. Every seat was filled. I thought airlines were taking precautions to provide space for passengers by leaving some seats empty. I felt very unsafe flying in a 100% full flight where no control for masks was taking place. This was my first time flying during COVID and I had thought airlines were doing more to instill trust in customers to keep customers flying but I will not be flying again until COVID is over as I did not see precautions keeping customers safe."

They announced this and said that if anyone was uncomfortable being seated next to someone not in their party (due to COVID concerns) they would book them on the next available flight. At that point, you're really kinda stuck hoping the person your seated next to is taking the proper precautions, but you are not "social distanced" during the flight. I don't consider myself a COVID prude, but I will stick with Southwest Airlines during this pandemic. They are keeping their flights at 2/3 capacity in order to maintain distance among passengers on their flights."

However, the cleaning job was rushed and left remnants of the throw up behind which smelled the whole 2.5 hour flight. It really felt unsanitary and unsafe being that it’s unknown what caused the child to get sick. It very well could have been a stomach virus and could have infected the people in rows around the incident due to the mediocre cleaning job. I understand that it’s important to keep flights on-time, especially for connecting flights, but the safety of the passengers and their health should ALWAYS be the #1 priority."

I was able to figure it out on the map option on the screen, but I would've liked to hear it verbally. Only suggestion I would have is an announcement on the plane for which baggage claim belt our luggage would come out of. I may not have heard it though, if there was an announcement. It was not difficult at all to figure out once I was in the baggage claim area, however if this was known while we were still on the flight, I prefer to know this info!"

Flight was from Seattle to Los Angeles and the weather was clear on the flight path. Two hours later, an announcement was made that it was actually because of congestion at the airport (poor planning) and yet, they did not offer anything to the passengers for the inconvenience. We boarded the plane two hours late, only to sit on the tarmac for another 40 minutes. This situation could have been handled so much better by Alaska Airlines."

It made me wonder if it was because I looked Asian- she was helpful and polite to the white women next to me. I was polite and was not being difficult in any way. I'm half white, but was often treated like this in Illinois when I was growing up. She should have been professional and if she had I would have rated the trip as excellent."

At Burbank the agents were fast, accurate and there were almost no waiting. The flight itself was great and the flight attendants were excellent; but not impressed at all with check in at Seattle."

Cons: "We were on row 33 d,e, & f. Seats d & e would not recline. The button on seat d was broken. As annoying as that was, there were 3 unaccompanied minors sitting in front of us. Two of them were fine. The third one on the isle seat was up and down, in and out of his seat the majority of the flight. I couldn't sleep. This was my second flight of the day after staying in Seattle for 7 hours waiting between my flights. The kid was loud and it seemed like the crew couldn't correct him. He just did as he pleased. I wasn't the only passenger who had a problem with him. And apparently the crew did as well. I paid a lot of money for that flight and he ruined it for me. If they are going to fly children like that, the crew should be able to correct them so the other passengers can have a pleasant flight."

Cons: "The heat was high, we asked the male steward many times to request the heat turned down, people were removing as much clothing as possible. It was very hot and sticky and smelly. The descent to landing was to fast when near the runway, and we crashed hard like a carrier landing. I would inspect the gear and wing spats for cracks. The fuselage bowed like a banana, it was evident looking down the tube sitting the back. How about a breathalyzer or something, everybody knows the drunken pilots, the can't be fired and they know it, so it takes years to sober them up at our expense. The pilots who've been caught drinking are not trying to get better, they just whine that the others who haven't been caught yet are even worse drunks. Everybody who flys on Alaska has heard it from the same old Alaska born drunken pilots. How about less drunken bush piloting and get your drunken pilots who've been busted in the last few years to shut up and stop telling everyone that all Alaska pilots are drunks as defense of there drunkeness."

Specifically, and I apologize for not knowing names, the blonde man made strange comments to people, maybe out of nervousness? The blonde woman on the flight seemed to have a short temper with her coworkers and was very short with them, granted she did get run into by both the beverage and food cart in the middle of the plane multiple times, so she was probably pretty annoyed at that. I fly Alaska Airlines most of the time, and this experience was unusual."

She never gave up. And found my passport at the desk that had made me a new boarding pass. I was so upset I couldn't think straight but she did!, many thanks to this kind lady."

Then the seat they gave me was already booked to someone else, so i had to wait again on the plane to get a seat. on my outgoing flight to seattle a few days prior, i intentionally didn't check a bag because i had a late arrival and early work the next day, was forced to check it on the plane and then they lost it for an hour after i landed so i didn't get home until 2am. frustrating, but again the crew was nice about the mistakes."

Cons: "The whole experience of making a connection in SEA detracts from the travel experience. There is little room for passengers to sit while waiting for their Alaska flight. It causes masses of people in the walkways, and makes it hard to walk through, or get out of the way for others. It may not be the airline's fault, but as I said, it detracted. I don't remember SEA being that overcrowded on previous trips. Our incoming flight was delayed due to weather. Again, not the airline's fault, but we were told we'd be able to make up the time and be on time in DEN. We were still late."

I love Jet Blue, but this was the most cramped flight I’ve ever had on this airline. The overhead bins don’t have sufficient capacity for everyone’s carry ons, and there was only one call to check bags at the gate. I felt very trapped between the tight seating and bags under the seats.
Complete disregard of customer experience, flight was cancelled and no solution that resembled what we planned was provided. The semblance of an option that suited their goal (JetBlue) was pushed on passengers who may have not had the option but to accept it. A cheaper option as far as airlines does not come with any perks (descent customer experience efforts) it would seem, JETBLUE—-a mistake I will not make again.

This airline has been moved to the bottom of my list. I may take them once more but it depends on how many points I have with them, if it's enough to cover a free trip. If it doesn't, I will forfeit as the aggravation and nasty behaviour at the check in counter especially at LaGuardia is too much to take. They are also every discriminatory at that airport also, especially the people who work at JetBlue. I have to take responsibility for keep trying. It the same as beating a dead horse and expecting it to get up and run."

After the front desk continuously trying to explain to me how it was my fault some how, I HAD TO PURCHASE A SEPARATE TICKET ON A DIFFERENT AIRLINE OUT OF MIA AT 5AM TO MAKE THE WEDDING!!!! This is beyond unacceptable and as someone that travels for work and stays roughly 100 nights a year in hotels, I WILL NEVER ALLOW YOUR COMPANY TO BE ABLE TO PUT ME IN THIS SITUATION AGAIN!!!!"

They also realized the plane was full so offered customers the free option of checking a bag in cargo. I would have preferred if they advised customers before checking through security of this option as I would have taken it rather than discard with some bottled products. The entertainment video was great on board, they offered free beverages and snacks. The crew moved through the aisle fast and efficiently when dispersing the food, and again when collect the refuse. While we had a little turbulence, the flight was uneventful and the pilot handled the landing very well. Departing the plane was also fast and efficient, although takes time because the plane was full. Overall, I was impressed with JetBlue, and their flight team."

I also noticed that the chair head area didn't have a removable sanitary cover, which I thought should be there considering the number and frequency of change overs per seat on these flights. The flight lead was super funny and made it a pleasant experience.
Flight left on time and arrived early and the bags were ready when we got off the plane. Only issue was that they were not on the listed carousel
The flight attendant read all of the directions off his phone, with a mask, and in a low, uninterested voice. We heard little to nothing of the directions and weren’t even motivated to try.

The space between legs is ridiculous small! I can't complain with the crew the did their job, its just the airline space for legs!!!! Never again
in plane service was very poor, never got asked if I needed anything else. Also, I miss the days when during the boarding the gate agents would actually acknowledge your presence not only stand next to the machine.
I had an expired ticket for a free drink from the team. it expired during the pandemic. I purchased a drink when i think it would have been really sweet for them to honor it. Between trying to be safe and travel when i felt comfortable, I missed the deadline. It would be different it we hadn't been locked down all year. Just felt like if there was a time to be nice that was it and the stewardess mussed it. All good.

Cons: "Curbside needs to stop chasing cash tips and do their jobs. If they focused on that tips would be easy to come by. The curbside attendant that took my bag didn’t even bother to check my id. He asked me my name and asked where my destination was. I told him Cincinnati as a layover then LaGuardia where he said that was wrong. He then proceeded to print a boarding pass that wasn’t mine and load my bag into the conveyor. Not 5 mins go by when I realize what happened I wound up having to go to special services to rectify the situation. Which ultimately consisted of me waiting another hour in LaGuardia to get my bag. Please delta have these curbside handlers actually want to do their job and stop chasing cash tips."

Pros: "The in-flight entertainment was awesome. I was able to watch NFL games the entire flight which made the flight go by super quick. Our flight was also ahead of schedule which was great as well."

Cons: "I bought a ticket thinking i bought it through kayak but I actually bought a ticket through a third party in India. Where no one spoke good English. I called the agency to find out if I needed a Visa for my visit to Australia and the told me no. So when I showed up to the airport I didn’t have the right documents and I MISSED MY FLIGHT. Also the wouldn’t just change my flight and charge me the change flight fee. They cancelled my flight entirely and made me buy a whole new ticket!!! Worst flight experience I’ve ever had and this is not my first time flying to Australia or out of country."

Cons: "The crew forgot to turn the heater on in -3°F creating a situation where the lavatory water lines froze. This caused a two hour delay which made me miss the second leg. Because I missed the second leg I was put on the very last flight out of ATL and got to spend Xmas eve in the airport."

Cons: "I drove 5 hours to get to the airport and unfortunately ended up delayed because of traffic and slow shuttles from parking. I arrived 1 hour before the flight, but security was so slow I didn't get to the gat until 10 minutes before arrival. There were no gate agents present and despite banging on the gateway door and other Delta agents at the adjacent gate, no one helped me. I can only surmise that they had already given away our seats, which were award tickets, GAINED BY BEING A LOYAL DELTA CUSTOMER. The gate agents were unapologetic and useless at rebooking, and I bought a ticket from Southwest instead. As i was trying to get to my sister's wedding, and repeatedly told the agents this, their behavior was particularly abominable. DELTA, YOU'VE LOST A LOYAL CUSTOMER."

There was no in flight entertainment or snacks for passengers. All other aspects were good.
They allowed passengers to move up seats for more comfort even 1 to first class!!
Short flight from Houston to DFW. And apparently no InFlight entertainment nor working charging outlet either. Oh well, not too bad as it’s a short trip.
The crew was great, given the situation—we were delayed because the cargo door wouldn’t lock. Why wasn’t the plane checked before we boarded the 777-200? That’s a lot of people to be left sitting there, especially during Covid .
Fast boarding and on time.
Dealing with customer service was a terrible experience. Our flight was changed by the computer system to a different flight a full day later, and we were given no option to change it. It took us a full 6 hours of waiting before we could actually talk to a human on the phone to help us get it fixed. Then we had to talk to customer service at the airport as well which was a 90 minute wait. The employees were wonderful and helpful when we talked to them, but the wait time was unacceptable.
