1. Been lied to several times about the issue that prevented us from leaving the ground. 1st excuse was they needed to unload a passenger luggage, then they need to return to gate to fix one of the lights.. 3rd oh we really do not know what is going on...but yet they kept passengers in the plane..just gave as a cookie and a cup of water bc of the delay... UNACCEPTABLE

Lots of food and wine/beer were provided at no additional cost and the first checked bag was free as is standard with British Airways. Basically I liked that American Airlines followed British Airways standards for the flight.

There were no personal entertainment devices, just a central tv for everyone to watch, and there were no charging outlets. The plane was probably from a museum it was so old. After boarding we sat in the plane without moving to the runway for 30 minutes just making the 8 hour flight even longer. The gate at the Lisbon airport was overly small and restrictive with everyone crammed in and unable to leave after initially entering.

How funny was the crew and proficient

Nothing, this was a miserable flight.

Gate at Philadelphia was tiny with not enough space for everyone on the plane, it was a 6 hour flight and no snacks beyond pretzels were available-not even for purchase. I'd just come off an 8 hour international flight where I was provided lunch, ice cream, a pot pie snack and frequent beverage service. Somehow as soon as you are flying domestic on a slightly shorter flight American Airlines thinks its okay to treat customers like garbage-nothing but some sad pretzels and 2 rounds of drink service was provided for a 6 hour flight. The seats were super uncomfortable with no head rest, no personal entertainment devices were provided, and there was no general entertainment for the whole plane-seriously I've never been so bored. I would have fallen asleep from boredom but the seat was too uncomfortable so I couldn't even do that. The plane landed in Seattle but sat without unloading passengers for 20 minutes because the gate crew wasn't ready. We didn't get our checked baggage for over an hour after landing. When asked, customer service reps said that the S gate was far from baggage claim-seriously I'm not sure how that is a reasonable excuse. Other airlines arrive into S gates and have timely baggage claim service. American Airlines has no standard for timely baggage claim service like other airlines (Alaska) so there were no repercussions for such late baggage service. We left the airport with our luggage over 90 minutes after the plane landed. The entire experience is just another example of American Airlines of why the terrorists won't even fly American Airlines. I was seriously disappointed to find out that the British Airways flights we booked were operated by American instead of BA crews. I seriously will never select this option (or fly American) again if I can help it.

This added almost $100 to the face. I'll try to avoid Frontier in the future. Gotcha capitalism!

Cheap fare until it changed with the bag fee

You must pay extra for everything and on top of it the flight attendants only talk about signing you up for the credit card it’s like a stupid commercial the whole flight. Also the carry on bag fee is different for every passenger my wife and I were charged to different prices and the seats suck knees hit the back of the seat in front of you and you must sit straight up the whole flight not even room for a full size try table.

Richard along with the other flight attendants were super nice and helpful with anything needed.

I am only 5'2...a short woman so the seat does not fit me . My feet can not rest on the floor and the headrest does not adjust for me. It makes for a most uncomfortable 18 hours from Lima.

The flight was delayed by three hours (reason unknown) and the entertainment on flight shut off once and then froze for 20 minutes

Flying Spirit meant no reclining seats, meaning no one was making me uncomfortable! Flight crew and gate attendants were wonderful, helpful, and friendly!

Flight came out almost at time, arrived in time any way. The luggage arrived quickly, it was the only night flight from LA to NYC that I could found in great price.

Serious minus were the seats! Awful seats, back of the seat can’t be banded, very hard and uncomfy to sleep like this!

Boarding was simple; staff professional and courteous; seats in first are always comfortable; taxi time was minimal.

The jet was nice. I was in Economy Plus. So, I had a little more room. There were no TV’s in the back of the seats in front of me. You have to have an tablet, and connect it to their wifi to watch a movie. (You don’t have to go through paying for internet. Just Connect to the wireless access point and then go to www.unitedwifi.com. From there you can click on Entertainment to watch movies for free. Or, you can see flight details like ETA, altitude, and speed from clicking on the top-right of the page.)

I didn’t like that the flight attendant didn’t even ask me if I wanted to buy a snack pack. I was starving, and had read the menu in their magazine in preparation to order food. She came by and asked me if I wanted something to drink. I said Coke please. She gave me a tiny cup of Coke which contained a little more than a swig of Coke, and then handed me a tiny pack of pretzels before turning away to serve the next guest. This was a 2hr flight. So, no big deal really. I wasn’t going to starve to death. But, I never got to eat. By the time the food service cleared and they were making their rounds to gather trash before landing, it was really too late to address the issue with them. So, I just sucked it up and spent my $9.99 elsewhere.

The only challenge for me was they couldn't take my form of payment on the plane for some food so I was out of luck. I had a Mastercard debit from the states. It is also a loss of revenue for you guys as well. They couldn't take the apple pay from the passenger next to me either. I know it's a lot of systems to update

Boarding in Frankfurt was pretty good as all zones had their own gates- somethinh I am missing at YYZ.

Legroom is getting tighter and tighter in the Economy class and meals are getting smaller and smaller as the trays are apperaing bigger and bigger...

We arrived early

Our carry-on bags were over 10 kilos so we had to pay for our carry-ons. We had to pay for 1 water and 1 juice. The seats are so tight my knees were digging into the back of the seat in front of me.

The entertainment was good. A lot of things to choose from.

The boarding took too long

The 2 hour delay due to the ground crew not having it together, this reason coming from the pilot. Flight attendant was complaining more than any of us passages. Even though 85% of us missed our connecting flights. After boarding the plane, the smell of the restroom, we all had to deplane.

Flight crew was excellent. Had a delay and Capt was very apologetic and personable. Made the best of a problem. Cabin crew were very good. Delay let me get some breakfast.

1 hour delay because ground crew missed performing safety check. Had to deplane and then reboard.

Seat was okay. Flight Crew was okay. I got where I needed to.

Either Frontier or the third party I purchased my ticket through on Kayak (Kiwi.com) sold me a ticket as if it were a complete flight from point A to B with a layover in between. In reality however, it was two totally separate flights which required me to go to the Frontier ticketing counter upon my arrival at my layover destination, get a ticket printed for my second flight, pay to recheck my bag a second time ($45 x2 = $90 which was total BS), go through security again (also BS) only to walk back clear to the other side of the airport where I just was. To top it all off, our flight took off late and upon arrival we didn't even have a jet bridge available. So, all of the passengers had to get off on the tarmac and wait to be bussed from wherever we were all the way to the main terminal. Then they switched the baggage claim caracul on us. What a mess. This will probably be the last time I buy a ticket on Kayak, Kiwi and possibly even Frontier.

Crew did a great job overall. They were fast and friendly. We got out 15 minuets early too. Nice job!!

Bogus reservation captured via Kayak!!!

Our original flight was delayed then cancelled. After assigning to another flight, it was delayed and gate changed about 10 times and was finally cancelled after it was boarded and left gate after 2am due to engine problem. We had to cancel our trip since it was a short trip for a funeral and we had missed it. AA offered no compensation and no apology (not during the whole night of delays and cancels).

Crew worked hard.

When I booked the return leg of my trip Kayak displayed a price of under $200 from Frontier but when redirected to Frontier’s site the time listed on kayak was only available for an additional $450+. I had to book a later flight resulting in a 14 hour layover.

This added almost $100 to the face. I'll try to avoid Frontier in the future. Gotcha capitalism!

Amazing the flight system was not updated. Finally reaching my connection airport the counter help was terrible and in spite made me go through some special security to get my bag. I was treated like a criminal ... after arriving at the desk the new agent said it was no problem that my bag was checked thru. Exiting I was again given the once over... plenty more but Aeromexico, nah.
