The flight crew i found to be very rude with and had an attitude. The biggest shock was the greetings and all announcements were in English accept the safety rules where the pre-recorded tape was played. If asked about the return flight from Halifax to Montreal, one word to describe it "disaster". I was totally turned off with WestJet. I will for sure continue using Porter as I was always pleased with there service. As they say "you get what you pay for"."

It seems more often than not these days that flights are delayed and are totally unreliable. I've come to hate flying."

Once you buy the ticket then you send clarification letting the passenger know they have no rights I had no right to anything I was wondering if they were going to tell me I had to clean the plane in order to be transported from New York to Spain. A satisfied customer is a repeat customer you got over on me once but never again"

I have flow a lot, 3MM miles on UA alone, and this reminded me why AA did not get much of my business! I will have to revert to the "Continentalised" UA (another sore point!)."

They announced this and gave the other passengers the opportunity to walk to an area to watch the very solemn ceremony. It was all done with respect and handled timely. The flight still left as scheduled and arrived on time. Not that this was the most important part. Even if it had caused me to miss my connecting flight, the ceremony for the fallen hero was more important."

Cons: "We could not check in online because we refused to pay for seats that I felt that already purchased or was entitled to one so I bought a ticket. When we got to the airport and checked in they did not put me and my traveling partner together meaning they didn't see them together not to mention. Our flight was delayed and we only have 4 minutes to get from gate a to gate. We got to the gate collected our boarding passes found out we were seated at the very very very back of the plane right next to the restrooms.........NICE"

Cons: "When I booked my flight, I used Kayac like I always have in the past. To begin with, I selected several flights that were listed, only to have it tell me that this flight is no longer offered, which I assume is engineered to get me to select a more expensive flight. Once I finally found a flight that was still available, I selected it and began the process of providing information and selecting seat assignments. On 2 of the 4 legs of the round trip, there were no more seats available except for upgrade seats, which resulted in an extra $100.00+ in charges. Then when I finished the transaction, I noticed an extra $200.00 charge added. End result was that I ended up paying over double what I would normally pay for this same round trip that I have made many many times. I feel, no I know, that some customer relations person will look at this comment and reply with a pre-generated response apologizing and hoping I have a better experience in the future and thank me for using Kayac. Big companies like yours look at one customer as no big deal. I'm a Physician and have the ability to reach out to multitudes. I'm going to make it my mission in life to reach out to as many people as I can through word of mouth, signs in my office, Internet and social media to let them know about the deplorable practices of your company."

Cons: "Unrelated to the flight- but immigration and customs in Grand Cayman was slow. 200+ people arrived on this plane and there ware 4 immigration agents although they had more stations. We spent about a half hour in line in each- immigration and then customs. Rental cars is another situation to be aware of regarding insurance."

We had to pay $280 to rent a car and I drove all night and went straight to work without even going home to shower or get ready or anything. My 4 and a half year old son had to endure the whole thing too."

While I understand these things happen, Air Canada's response to me asking for help was abysmal. Ultimately, they didn't care and told me it was my problem. Sadly, one of the first people I talked to really did want to help and arranged flights that would have gotten me back on track but he was prevented from confirming the changes due to management. I will never fly with Air Canada ever again."

Cons: "Really doesn't fit into the "didn't like" category but my boarding pass said Zone 6, however there was no Zone 6 called nor signage for it. Even the person checking our boarding passes was surprised. Just a comment really!"

Cons: "A lot ohe seats are faulty the entertainment system barely works, mine didn't and even if it did the headphone jack was broken! The cabin is more than grubby, it is dirty with torn fabric and faded writing on dirty plastic. I skipped the meal on the return flights as the outbound were the worst I have ever had! In all honesty I'm not a fussy traveller and never write reviews but Air Canada was so bad I thought it might be useful info for someone."

Pros: "They were very kind and helpful when my daughter became unexpectedly ill during the flight, bringing cold wash cloths, ice etc, and they checked in on her regularly until landing. Much appreciated!"

Pros: "AC 018 takes the shortest route from Shanghai to Montreal. The check in and boarding were like a breeze. Cabin was clean, staff were amiable and hard working. The variety of drinks were plenty, the food matched the standard of cost efficiency flight ticket so how could you complain it? On board TV/Movie has new coming features such as HBO's Game of The Thorne, season 7. It was a comfortable and pleasant journey with the team of AC 018. Merci beaucoup!"

Cons: "In-seat entertainment - screen not working"

Pros: "As a professional musician, flying with my viola is one of the most nerve wracking experiences, as if it is forced to be checked due to insufficient room for overhead baggage, it could be completely destroyed. As stated in Air Canada's online policy, passengers traveling with musical instruments that fit as carry on baggage are allowed to change to earlier boarding zones. After approaching a staff member with my viola, I wasn't simply assigned an earlier zone, but rather I was allowed to board first. On this principle alone I will be flying Air Canada again. Thank you!!!"

Cons: "Queuing in CDG was inefficient as was much of the airport experience at all sites (outside of PHL)."

Pros: "This flight was not full, so it was a pleasanter experience than expected. Actually, I slept through most of it."
Cons: "flight was delayed, but only by 2 hours, which doesn't even seem that bad. The gate was changed TWICE, which really wasn't awesome, and the 3rd gate did not have enough places to sit down."

Cons: "Several hours late due to repairs, despite the plane originating from Air Canada's hub. Seems they should have had a spare available to not delay us the several hours that they did. As I live 2 hours from the airport, it was not until I got there to check in that I was aware of the delay."

Pros: "My company on the plane was lovely: an older Peruvian woman sharing her experiences in the country."
Cons: "The plane took off 40 minutes late because we were waiting on folks: Can this be a normal standard?! The food was difficult to stomach. But worst of all, the attendants were not kind or particularly helpful. They seemed hurried. At one point when offering drinks down the aisles, the 2 attendants even commented that they were going to beat the other cart down the aisle this time. Furthermore, there was a blind man near us across the aisle. I couldn't see much of what was going on, but the woman next to me seemed rather distraught that so little help was offered to him. When food was served, he couldn't find his cutlery and ate with his hands. When he needed to use the bathroom, he pressed the button for assistance but no one came. Others stepped in to help. When asked if someone would help the man at the gate, an attendant rather condescendingly answered that of course, every handicapped guest will be assisted through the airport. The flight primarily consisted of Peruvians. I can only hope this poor service was a reflection of all of Air Canada, and not what the people of Peru receive regularly. It was as if the attendants were trying to discipline. There were no niceties. Perhaps the language barrier was too much."

Cons: "No entertainment system. Seriously? No TVs for an international flight?? They should at least tell you that in advance so you can download movies and bring your chargers. We didn't get drink service until about 2 hours into the flight. Terrible. Food was boring and bad. Finally- we had to pay for wine and beer. On a $1000 flight? I have traveled internationally at least 15 times and this was by far the worst flight yet."

Cons: "Waited 1 hour for my bag only to be told that it was put on a different flight. They couldn't tell me this during my flight or while I was waiting? They said it would arrive by morning the next day. I call multiple times to get an update and no one has an update. 6pm rolls around without a single update so tired of calling I drive back to the airport to get a hold of a person. Person says delivery company has it and gives a phone number. Call delivery company and they have no idea what i'm talking about say to go back to the airport. Bag finally shows up 12 hours after expected without a single call or update. Never flying air canada again!"

Pros: "Smiley and kind crew. Smooth take off and landing in both ways. Clean and organized craft. Being on time. Could not be better. Thank you Air Canada"

Cons: "Never made it because of long delay of connection flight. Toronto airport is extremely poorly organized. Huge lines everywhere. Air Canada staff had no idea how to help. Rebooking very slow because 4 out of 5 staff was out for dinner. Air Canada overall: Awful service. Disorganized. Staff lack information."

Cons: "I booked this particular flight because it was the shortest route available. But the Air Canada flight from Dallas was delayed for an hour and then we experienced computer problems causing further delays. I therefore missed my connection in Toroto and was told by the ground staff I could only get out 2 days later. I was also told there were no hotels available. There were long lines of angry people complaining, and they were from different flights, One couple complained they missed 2 days of their honeymoon. The plane did have seats in business class which they refused to hand out. Eventually they found me a hotel and redirected me through Frankfort the next day. It turned out to be a 27 hour trip. Huge disappointment."

Cons: "If you have a stop in Canada - you must have Canadian visa! Which does not make any sense and no one warned me about that."

Pros: "Nothing to like or not like. Classic small (Embraer) flight for 3 hours. Nothing special one way or the other."

Pros: "I've been taking this flight for many years. The flight times, crew, and boarding process are all excellent. The food is always very good for a plane flight with plenty of options. When awake, the new seats are a pleasure and I especially appreciate the extra storage areas."
Cons: "By definition, this flight is long-haul with the necessity to sleep on it. In executive class, they have recently changed the "seats". The old ones were too cramped (narrow) for a 6 ft guy. The new ones are not only narrow but the table that telescopes down restricts the vertical height when the seat is fully down. It is literally impossible to lay on your side. This was a horrendous design and unacceptable for a sleeping flight."

Cons: "No in flight entertainment available"

Pros: "The selection of current movies was varied enough (the content got a little staler on the return trip). The hot food tasted good and was hot. The crew was not stingy with the drinks, which I always like even if they come around fewer times"
Cons: "How hard it is to be comfortable/sleep in the tiny seat."

Cons: "The seats in coach were ridiculously close together. When the person in front of me reclined their seat, there couldn't have been more than 6 inches between them and my nose. Felt like Spirit Air had purchased Air Canada."

Pros: "The crew did a fine job after a hard day."
Cons: "The monitor showed delay after delay--finally at 2 1/2 hours--and no one ever made any announcement. Customer service desks were closing and there was no agents at the gate. Customers did not get any information about why they were leaving at 23:25 rather than 20:55. Finally one agent started to fill us in but no announcements in gate area. This was a really unpleasant delay situation. We needed a lot more information and gate agents to help out. I will strongly try to avoid Air Canada in the future. Overall two thumbs down on the experience."

Pros: "Captain kept the interested customers informed of how the Toronto Raptors game was progressing. Friendly crew. Upgraded to an economy premium rouge seat and was very comfortable."
Cons: "Checked in online but wasn't able to pay for luggage fee. Tried at Kiosk at Barbados airport and was directed to counter service which was a very long line. Selection of TV shows on AC app could be more current."

Cons: "Pretty much everything I hated, starting from the time they charged me extra 100 bucks for second luggage which was mentioned as free both by kayak and Lufthansa to me, major breach of customer trust. Apart from that the crew was in general rude, didn't find the experience anywhere close to comfort"

Pros: "The plane was clean, airy, comfortable, and not overbooked. The flight attendants treated me very well. Boarding was easy and the gate agent was extra pleasant."
Cons: "The flight attendants were downright rude to some of the other passengers, the ticketing agent had a nasty attitude and made for a very poor "first contact" experience with the airline. The front desk agents at the United Club in EWR were aggressively officious with a lot of the guests that day as well. Overall, customer service was very poor, even though the attendant on the flight were quite nice to me and gave me great service."

Pros: "this flight was only an hour long but it was enjoyable. made it home earlier which is always great. I like having only two seats on each side rather than 3."
Cons: "as short as the flight was, there were a few disturbances. first, the two kids behind me were off the wall. it wasn't a baby crying, they had to be 5 and 7 just screaming and being so loud when their parents just laughed. at 8pm It would have been nice for a crew to quiet them down. second, there was a disturbance by a woman who had to be escorted off the plane which caused us to sit not knowing anything going on for the extra 20 minutes on the runway. I'm so glad they got her off for our safety but we were in the dark about the situation. And United, you need to up your snacks."

Cons: "As I stated above, we were stuck at the airport for the duration of Easter Sunday. We were supposed to be home by 1:30pm. Kind of a bummer to have wasted the entire holiday; but I guess that's what you get for traveling on holidays."

I felt that WAY too many folks had backpack and two small carry ones, but by bringing them to the gate - the announcement was made its a full flight so you can check your bag for FREE! Next time, I will not follow the rules and just simply check at gate?? That is message loud and clear from your gate folks."

Cons: "There was no leg room what so ever! I am 6 foot tall and around 275 pounds. The seats were made for children, not made for an adult. My seat was so uncomfortable my legs actually went numb, mainly for the fact that I couldn’t move because of how tight the seats were. I have flown many times and this was by far the most uncomfortable flight ever! I will never fly again if this is how planes are going to be."

Pros: "RDU to EWR was fine, but the return flight was way oversold, and we didn't even get seat assignments until it was time to board. I purchased our tickets months ago, checked in 24 hrs before, and did not check bags, but we still had to stand online and keep reminding the gate agents that we did not have seats and that my three year-old had a car seat that needed to go in a window seat. Once on board, the first clas flight attendant was awesome! She helped us fix a seating nightmare (agent had given my 3 y/o a seat by himself) and came back to coach during the flight to give my son some wings and to just check on us. She and our safe arrival are the only aspects of the entire experience that deserve any stars whatsoever."

I am very disappointed in United the way this matter was handled and the nonprofessional attitude of the flight crew. This is a very concerning due to the unsanitary and health risks involved. United should look into this ."
