Pros: "We got to Chicago at least 45 minutes before the expected landing time. The dinner was pretty good and the crew came around many times offering drinks. The ground crew did a good job of evaluating luggage and tagging people’s bags before the overhead bins got too full so it didn’t delay our flight."

Cons: "There was no update on the status of our connecting flight. The pilot gave an update of other flights except for ours but it caused a bit of confusion. Some people even had to missed there flights altogether! Lufthansa, from the 4 times I have flown with them always seems to be late with no sense of urgency. Ultimately after arriving in Venice, I get an email that my bags did not make it, yet I was told by the boarding agent that the plane was still loading our bags."

Cons: "Flights were late and boarding was caios, no one had any clue what to do. Blankets were filthy. Entertainment had limited choice. Considering I took six flights in this month, I will let it slide that they ran out of New movies. Worst part was food. Obviously, there is no quality consideration when they decide menu. Check Emirates or other similar fare bracket airlines to understand the gravity of Lufthansa food problem. If one reason I had to choose to drop Lufthansa from my future consideration then that would be worst food and drinks. I would strongly recommend that they should assign people who need additional time to board at the back of the plane. It will help them to go back of the plane faster and avoid gridlock in the middle. Another advantage is it will help other passengers leave plane faster at the end of the ride. Boarding process will be come significantly faster by filling the plane from back to front by loading passanger with children and who needs time at the first loading area at the back of the plane. Cons: "On May 16, 2017, there was a group of Albanian and American passengers rushing through Frankfurt Airport to catch the connecting flight to New York. Their first flight (LH#1425) from Tirana to Frankfurt was 45 minutes late causing them to eventually miss their connecting flight. At this point, the passengers were asked to show their passports, separating the US citizens from the rest. All the US citizens were loaded on a bus and provided hotel, dinner and breakfast. The Albanian citizens were moved to the lower level of the airport where they were left to freeze all night. Some of the passengers were elderly and had their heart or high blood pressure medications in their luggage that they didn’t have access to. One US-Albanian citizen was asked to separate from his Green-Card holder wife in order to receive the US citizen treatment…"

Cons: "It was a really rainy day and we all had to get on shuttles to get to our plane. Once we reached the plane, the crew should have facilitated an orderly boarding through both doors rather than one. This was also a pretty empty flight and other passengers were utilizing their assigned seat as well as a whole other row and calling it theirs just because they set something on one seat. It didn't seem right that some of us had to stay in our little crowded area while others used up 4 seats and I don't mean for laying down."
Cons: "My wifes luggage was lost, no followup at all from Lufthansa (main) or in Seville which was our destination. We had to call to find out any information. Once the bag was found and delivered to Seville, Lufthansa personnel again did not tell us nor would they deliver the bag to our hotel as the driver had already left. We then had to wait another day to have the bag delivered to Granada. Terrible customer service, the bag was missing for four days causing us to spend time shopping for clothes rather than experiencing the city."
Pros: "Even though the flight lasted 12 hours, it was enjoyable. I feel like the crew put the best effort in order to make passengers feel comfortable. They served two meals and two snacks. Beverages were distributed many times. The leg room and the entertaining system were great. I would love to take another flight with this company in the future."

Cons: "Pretty much everything I hated, starting from the time they charged me extra 100 bucks for second luggage which was mentioned as free both by kayak and Lufthansa to me, major breach of customer trust. Apart from that the crew was in general rude, didn't find the experience anywhere close to comfort"
Pros: "The plane was clean, airy, comfortable, and not overbooked. The flight attendants treated me very well. Boarding was easy and the gate agent was extra pleasant."
Cons: "The flight attendants were downright rude to some of the other passengers, the ticketing agent had a nasty attitude and made for a very poor "first contact" experience with the airline. The front desk agents at the United Club in EWR were aggressively officious with a lot of the guests that day as well. Overall, customer service was very poor, even though the attendant on the flight were quite nice to me and gave me great service."

It was a pretty crummy to spend Easter Sunday at the airport while our entire family celebrated the holiday. I do really appreciate the travel certificates we received for our trouble."
Cons: "As I stated above, we were stuck at the airport for the duration of Easter Sunday. We were supposed to be home by 1:30pm. Kind of a bummer to have wasted the entire holiday; but I guess that's what you get for traveling on holidays."

I felt that WAY too many folks had backpack and two small carry ones, but by bringing them to the gate - the announcement was made its a full flight so you can check your bag for FREE! Next time, I will not follow the rules and just simply check at gate?? That is message loud and clear from your gate folks."

Cons: "There was no leg room what so ever! I am 6 foot tall and around 275 pounds. The seats were made for children, not made for an adult. My seat was so uncomfortable my legs actually went numb, mainly for the fact that I couldn’t move because of how tight the seats were. I have flown many times and this was by far the most uncomfortable flight ever! I will never fly again if this is how planes are going to be."

Pros: "After having worked Monday 10 am until 7 pm AND then10 pm to4 am i was exhausted boarding a 6:50 am flight. Needless to say i was asleep before we left the runway. No-one bothered me, and I slept the entire flight. Didn't wake up until we landed in Newark and the tires hit the runway. Thanks United!! I'll def be utilizing your airlines again!!"

Pros: "RDU to EWR was fine, but the return flight was way oversold, and we didn't even get seat assignments until it was time to board. I purchased our tickets months ago, checked in 24 hrs before, and did not check bags, but we still had to stand online and keep reminding the gate agents that we did not have seats and that my three year-old had a car seat that needed to go in a window seat. Once on board, the first clas flight attendant was awesome! She helped us fix a seating nightmare (agent had given my 3 y/o a seat by himself) and came back to coach during the flight to give my son some wings and to just check on us. She and our safe arrival are the only aspects of the entire experience that deserve any stars whatsoever."

We I complained I was told " Who do I think I am" I responded I am a paying passenger. I am very disappointed in United the way this matter was handled and the nonprofessional attitude of the flight crew. This is a very concerning due to the unsanitary and health risks involved. United should look into this ."
