They wouldn't let us on the flight and it ended up even being delayed for 30 minutes! We talked to JetBlue and they said they couldn't do anything for us so not only did we miss out on a day in Italy, we lost our a ton of money on all the things we booked for Tuesday. We also then had to get a hotel in ny and everything was booked so we almost had to sleep at the airport but luckily we found a place that had a last minute opening. Still was super expensive and no one helped with a "destressed rate". Now we have to wait until 10 again tonight to try to catch the plane to Milan because Emirates only has one flight a day. This has been the worst travel experience I have ever had."

After we missed our connecting flight, we asked the representative at the "Ask Jetblue" desk if we could get a hotel voucher since we would be stranded at the airport overnight for another 9 hours and we were told we didn't qualify since the delay was due to Air Traffic Control, thus Jetblue policy says they don't need to provide any compensation for any delays caused by ATC."

My mother was in a wheelchair waiting to board in Toronto and would have bought food to either eat there or carry on the plane but another passenger was severely reprimanded for getting out of her wheelchair and going to the bathroom, so my mother was intimidated to stay seated and not go to the bathroom nor ask any questions as to if she could go and buy some food or snack to eat while she was waiting. Only juices were served. She was flying since 11 am and arrived at 9:30 pm without any food. The website as well as all emails should inform about luggage weight as well as food and entertainment. On a layover the attendants should be more cooperative with disabled passengers and allow them to use the bathroom as well as to go and buy food."

I was on the Toronto to Calgary flight, which was supposedly delayed from 16:45 till 18:55 EST, but the actual boarding time was closer to 19:45 EST. Once all the passengers were boarded, the crew informed us that the pilot was missing. Another 20 minutes went by before he was located, at which point we were informed that the first mate was missing as well. By the time the pilot and first mate were both on the aircraft, it took another 30 minutes for them to get the aircraft ready. My flight from Toronto to Calgary was supposed to arrive at 19:40 MDT, the actual arrival time was 23:00 MDT. As a passenger, I am annoyed to say the least."

Cons: "Problems that were, to be sure, not entirely the airline's fault. The trip from Toronto to Austin was delayed because someone had taken the flight attendant's bag from the overhead. We had to wait until either the bag was recovered or a new flight attendant was brought in. On the return flight, the first officer had ruptured her eardrum, and the plane could not leave Austin until a new pilot was flown in from Toronto. It took hours for the airline to arrange for hotel rooms. The airline then offered vouchers when we arrived in Toronto, but their representative brought enough for only about 2/3 of the passengers."

She said 300 pesos or 25 U.S., and when I told her to charge my visa in pesos, she said it was going to be charged in U.S, which comes out to more. She never gave me a receipt for the charge. When she was checking my boarding pass and passport, she didn't even look at me or acknowledge me."

Cons: "When I arrived to my seat, the overhead compartment was full. I had no room for my carry-on. I mentioned it to the flight attendant. He just shrugged and told me to put my carry-on under the seat in front of me. So, #1, I guess some people bring more carry-on and the staff lets them. And #2, I guess it wasn't tight enough in those seats and even though I'm over 6 ft, the staff had to make it tighter. Also, when it was time to land, I thought my seat was all the way up. It was not fully all the way up. I was half asleep, and all of sudden, instead of telling me, one of the flight attendant pushed on the button to raise my seat. I would've appreciated him telling me. The landing was delayed, but that's no ones fault at rouge. I am trying to be as objective as I can. Hopefully, when (and if) someone at Air Canada-Rouge reads this, he or she has enough "pull" at the company to ask the proper authorities:"what kind of company are we? Are we a bargain basement flight company that offers just basic flights for extremely low prices? Or are we an average flight company that offer great value for the money the customer pays?" Because, from my perspective as a customer who is at his second experience with Air Canada-Rouge, the feeling that I get from flying with you guys, is that your company offers basic flights that doesn't offer great value for the money. It's more a company that "plays on both fields", taking what suits them, and leaving what doesn't , regardless of their customer. I understand that a company has to make money. It's normal. But, at a certain point, don't you have to think about your customers? To be honest, the only reason I flew with Air Canada-Rouge is that I was stuck with no other choices but to fly with you (schedule, cost, etc.) And I know for a fact that I'm not the only one. The feeling that I get, is that your company counts on customer like me. Customers that are "stuck", with no other alternatives. If your company wants to offer many "cheap direct flights" like Ryanair and Easyjet offer in Europe, I have 2 suggestions: #1: lower your prices. #2 :your staff should be more customer friendly savvy. Because those 2 companies, that's what they offer. Always remember: you can put a lot of maple syrup on a pile of sh***t, it still won't taste like pancakes. Thank you."

My baggage didn't arrive in Toronto. I found it extremely difficult to learn where the baggage could be, spent hours on hold with Air Canada and then Dynamex, and waited four days to receive my bag. I was with about 100 people at a summer camp. The staff created a funny skit about AC, Dynamex (sp?) and the endless "your call is important to us" tape recording. I understand that flight plans must be canceled and changed due to weather, but AC relies too heavily on automated "service.""

Pros: "The pilots always announced when to expect turbulence and apologized ahead of time; turbulence really wasn't that bad either. In-flight entertainment never cut out, though the options were limited."
Cons: "The intercom that the flight attendant used to speak to the passengers was very quiet, so it was hard to hear what he was saying every time. However, the pilots' intercom was very clear."

Finally after waiting for an hour on the airport the same flight was change 4 times more. A manager in United got us in a different flight but we arrived 40 minutes later to Madrid and missed our connection to our other flight. I had to buy a one way expensive tickets because my connection was loss due to the issues with the FL rigth from Charlotte"

I was originally scheduled to arrive at 9:46 pm but arrived around 1:00 am. This has been happening more frequently on flights on United."

Cons: "I got to the airport 40 minutes early. The flight was out at 6:20, I was there by 5:40. They did not let me print out a boarding pass. I could see the gate from the security line and the security line was EMPTY. There was no reason for them not to let me get on the plane, but they ended up scheduling me for a flight to Denver with the connecting flight in the morning- delaying my trip 24 hrs and charging me an extra 125$!!! I ended up paying an extra 85$ to American and was able to get to PHX that afternoon! The ladies at United were straight up RUDE too. When I told the lady at the counter my name she rolled her eyes."

Very much appreciated and why I always fly United with my MilagePlus card. I had been on vacation for a week and had to be at work the next day."

Cons: "I flew to Charlotte, NC last week from Houston with my husband for a funeral. The flight there went smoothly and we used the United app to check in and get our boarding passes. When it came time to check in for our flight home my husband was able to get his boarding pass, but they said mine was unavailable. Obviously concerned I called United. After being on hold for over an hour I was able to speak to a representative. I was told that I hadn't show up for my flight to Charlotte... so they had canceled the returning flight. Not only was I on that flight my boarding pass was scanned twice (one at security and once during boarding). The representative then told me to go to the airport the next day and "try" to explain what happened. I don't know if this was some sort of glitch in the system, but I was very concerned and upset that someone could be on a flight with no record of them being on the plane... and that I was having to spend 2 hours trying to figure out if I could go home after a very stressful day... during a time when I should have been with my family. The next day I had to show up the the airport extra early while the representative there tried to figure out how to reactivate my ticket. Overall, an awful experience... I don't think I will be flying with United again anytime soon."

Cons: "My vehicle keys were removed from my checked luggage requiring to pay extensively to have a locksmith come to the airport the next day to create new keys. I slept in the parking lot due to the fact the locksmith could only open the doors and could not cut new electronic keys until morning. I am extremely enraged over this incident. I know the keys were contained in this article due to the fact that the Keychain was left on top, without keys. I could not imagine why someone would remove these keys from my Keychain that holds only those keys. I would like to hear your openion on the matter. Thanks, Alexander Kruse"

Pros: "The first leg of our trip started late and we were parked on the tarmac waiting for a departure gate. Once we were allowed to depart we had the desk at that gate radio ahead. After sprinting to the connecting flight they stated they had already stopped boarding even though we were five minutes earlier then departure time. We had to take another flight in the morning ended up costing a days worth of time and a lot of extra expense."

Pros: "Although it was a new airliner to United, it had noticeable more legroom than the Airbus aircraft that other airlines use. Luggage room for your carryon was ok, though not near as convenient as the Boeing's."
