Pros: "The friendly informative team when we learned our plane broke. I switched to Charlotte connection earlier as a Miami one made no sense as Miami is south of Atlanta final destination. We had a different outcome than expected yet staff cared for us."

Cons: "no entertainment at every seat - was traveling with my little kids and this was the first time they could not play games or watch movies at the screen on the seat before them - there were couple screens for the whole plane but they showed La La Land two times and other shows my kids were not interested in; also, when we boarded, my kids were not assigned to sit right next to me (4 and 7 years old) so I had to ask 2 people to switch seats so that my kids could be next to me"

Pros: "Standard AA domestic flight. Once we were boarded and underway, things were fine. Crew was friendly, the aircraft was cleaned on the turn from the prior flight, and we didn't sit on the tarmac too long when arriving at DFW. Normal operations for AA domestic."
Cons: "Unfortunately, normal operations for AA domestic means boarding 20-30 minutes late, which delayed the arrival a bit. In general, AA could provide more accurate updates and boarding information for their flights. For example, if the inbound aircraft arrives at the time my flight should be boarding, I want to see an updated departure time, rather than maintaining the "on time" status right up until five minutes before the new boarding time. Generally it takes 25-30 minutes to turn the plane for the next outbound flight."

Cons: "I bought the tickets together, but was informed at the ticket counter that i had only purchased tickets—not boarding passes. Boarding passes needed to be purchased by paying extra if my husband and I wanted to sit next to each other. I tried calling the customer service line through kayak and waited on hold for a long time with no indication of wait time. When the gate agent arrived, we asked and were moved to seats next to each other right away. The ticket agent at initial check in was very abrasive and non-solution oriented. if what she was saying was true— that we only paid for tickets and had to pay extra for boarding passes together— that was never made clear during the booking process. It’s unlikely I’ll use kayak again unless I know for sure what I’m buying."

Cons: "We were delayed an hour because the plan was in the hanger! Why? We were all there, didn't American know the plane should be at he gate! No escplanation as to why the plane was not there other than it was in the hanger! Airlines need to let the customers be flexible especially when are!"

Cons: "Couldn't get my boarding pass. My name was wrong in your system, had to go to American Airlines desk for assistance and the attendant couldn't locate my name. There was a service attendant at the Alaskan airline service desk."

Cons: "Very few drink choices. Flight was cancelled mid-air, so we were returned from the air above Cusco to the Lima airport where there were no other flights departing that evening and no compensation for the inconvencience (no hostel voucher, no upgraded tickets on our next flight, etc). Many people ended up missing their long-planned trip to Machu Picchu as the earliest Avianca could get anyone to Cusco was 11:00 the following morning. The staff was unhelpful, and the lines were incredibly long (about 3 hours). Funnily enough, we were supposed to be on an earlier flight, but due to the length of their check in line, we waited over a half hour in line and when we arrived at the desk 56 minutes before our flight, we were unable to check in (since check in stops an hour before the flight). Truly ridiculous. I will definitely think twice before ever booking an Avianca flight in the future."

Cons: "The original flight was cancelled so we were stuck at the airport for nine hours. Then the replacement fight was a super old out of date place."

Pros: "It was a short flight to begin with but due to winds it was delayed."
Cons: "Due to bumpy air nothing but water was handed out to cabin passengers. 1st class managed tho. We were asked to stay seated almost the entire flight, although people still went to restroom as needed. After a late night it would have been nice for a little bite to eat. But apparently mother nature thought otherwise."
