The crew at CVG’s Delta desk is incredibly uninspiring and not helpful at all. A lot can be done in 40 minutes and they made little to no effort helping me make my flight or to get me on another flight on 6/13 that would get me home to Colorado Springs the same day."

After spending 2 entire days sitting in the airport waiting, we were offered a "food voucher" for $30, were advised to go pick up our luggage first, but they failed to mention we would be unable to get back through DFW airport security just to eat!! We had to take a taxi back to our hotel for over $100 and they didn't offer help with that or anything else. This airline is the worst!!! Unless there is significant compensation offered, I will do anything and everything to destroy their reputation further. I'm in the marketing industry and am very capable of getting the word out to millions. American Airlines... 9/11...Never Forget."

Frontier charged for carry-on bags, tried to charge for seat assignments (all of the available seats & not just the desired ones), charged for every beverage including sodas. Frankly I was surprised they didn't charge for water! Seats didn't recline at all & were like sitting on a metal folding chair for 5 hours. Food tray was about 3 inches wide, could barely put a plastic cup on it let alone a laptop or anything like that. Deceptive pricing combined with crappy accommodations - a combination I will avoid next time."

Never was another flight to,Cleveland bumped so we could return home. At least you figured out that disaster and we were able to board a plane scheduled for Philadelphia, which bumped that passenger to a flight 3 hours later. And the stories of horror other passengers had last night...all about Frontier, one man previously had totally missed a cruise! This is not how to maintain nor run an airlines. I will not be giving Frintier another chance."

Paying for extras doesn't bother me, but I understand it's a concept that many people need time to get used to. I'd way rather pay for my carry-on or even water than to have to subsidize the cost of yours."

The math would have made the tickets more than major airlines that include food, entertainment, and staffed baggage check-in counters."

Cons: "There was a "maintenance issue" with the plane. That can happen. But the way the airline handled it was the problem. Every couple of hours they would push back the departure time. After being delayed 6 hours they told us, "The plane IS REPAIRED, but the crew has timed out." So the departure time had to be pushed back another 3 hours. 15 minutes before that time elapsed they announced that, while they now had a crew, the plane wasn't actually fixed and they were going to bring in another plane in another 2 hours. Before boarding, they announced they needed to move some passengers to different seats, "because there were less passengers than originally scheduled" to balance the weight. This turned out to be a lie because it was a different plane model. I was moved from an upgraded seat to an unsatisfactory one with less leg room. When the plane finally did come in we sat on the tarmac for 60 minutes before taking off. They announced complimentary drinks AND snacks for the delay. And, while I don't get excited one way or another over a bag of peanuts, when the air-waitress came around and tried to charge me for the snacks and claimed that it had never been promised, it was really annoying. Delays happen. Please don't lie about what's going on."

Cons: "Stuartest were rude and mean. We sat on the plane for 1 hr before they took off. They had an issue with a door censor and while they fixed it the entired plane smelled burnt. This smelled persisted until we took off. It was scary to even fly in the same airplane. Next time i will pay more money and feel more securw and confident in the plane."

Cons: "1. carry on baggage - I had one that was in a large soft carrier bag that i carried like a handbag over my right shoulder-- the pleasant male counter officer did not say anything but a younger female personnel said it costs US$45 for a carry on bag, fuss was made by her about how the soft bag height was "slightly higher" than the carryon baggage steel rectangular measurement guide nearby. I removed a couple of important items to put into my check-in luggage, paid US$40 for it. Then I was given the OK. After that, I observed several people with hardcover luggages, carry-ons and backpacks (i.e. 1 carry-on that was definitely a lot larger than mine (with wheels and all) and bulky backpacks) ... By the way, the soft bag fit OK under the seat in front of me as it was a "soft" bag and I had leg room too. This made me feel it is a racial discrimination since I am a foreigner Chinese. It marred my otherwise 1 month enjoyable trip to various parts of USA."

Cons: "They charged extra for everything .... even carry on luggage. We flew to Orlando, FL for Thanksgiving, paying extra for an early, direct flight. The flight was delayed over 7 hours and they gave us a $10 meal voucher that was not accepted by any of the vendors in the airport. On our return flight, more delays. We were not able to check in online because we had a CREDIT balance so we had to wait in the ticket line to check in. NO plans to use the $100 voucher they gave us that has to be used in 90 days."

Cons: "The flight attendants spent most of the flight joking around with two young female passengers one row behind me. I was in the second to last row. It was a 5:30am flight and no one could sleep because they were so loud. Also the passengers to who you crew was speaking kept swearing and we had kids by us. Very unprofessional crew. Also, I chose this carrier because if the low fare. By the time I was done paying for all of the extras like a seat (really?!) I would have saved money going with a different airline AND had a better choice of flight times. Oh, and free water on the plane."

Cons: "My flight to LAX was delayed due to tech problems. Staff lied and said it was weather, found out later from pilot it wasn't. Missed my connecting int'l flight, had to pay $450 out of pocket. Spirit doesn't want to reimburse and instead offered $50 voucher. $50?? That is how much they charge for 1 bag. Ridiculous. My first experience with Spirit and may be the last unless they reimburse me. In LAX they make you check in "online" on a kiosk (presumably to save you time), then make you wait in line for another hour to drop your bag off. WTH? What's the point of that charade? Worst check-in experience of my life. This airline won't last long if they treat people this way. Their own staff appeared miserable and on the verge of homicide or suicide. No wonder."

Cons: "My 16 month old granddaughter's car seat and stroller was supposed to be delivered at the gait, but instead was delivered at the baggage claim area. The car seat was soaking wet and we had to use her blanket and some other clothing to make it partially suitable for her sit in her car seat. We fly 2-4 times a year on different airlines and with the pre-check status we are able to get through security rather quickly. In the absence of pre-check (because Spirit airlines does not have that facility) we were in the security check line for a long time. Our grand- daughter was upset and crying. Fortunately, eventually someone from the security department came to our assistance and expedited her and her parents' clearance"

Ludicrous 2-Spirit Assistance at the airport did not state that if you are there more than 1 hour prior to the flight you could take advantage of online baggage fees rather than in airport fees at 2X+ the on-line rate 3-no such thing as carry on luggage--pay more money to handle my own bag--what the heck is that? 4-no free snacks or soda--the flight prices are not THAT discounted to not provide either snacks or free carry on luggage 5-SPIRIT website stinks--why on earth do I need an account in order to pay for bags which was not clear anywhere on the website 6-NO feedback link on the website nor customer service information to provide feedback--no wonder--most customers on the flight were disgusted 7--no leg room--I am 5'9" and was folded in the seat--it has to be a horrible flight for anyone taller than I 8-the seats did not recline so you weren't even able to sleep to forget all the other deficiencies of this airline 9-the attendants were not interested in the passengers"

The problem with an airline is not about the price it's about dealing with customers who are STRANDED during the holidays. I had an international flight on the 31st to get back abroad where I study. It was upsetting the lack of service to get my flight rescheduled, it was highly unprofessional how they didn't have a rational solution to get back on the 29th of december. I wish this site, would take over and help us rebook our flight. The problem with our service from Spirit was they would reimburse both flights, but then I would have to go to an airport would be taking a risk to not get a flight when driving 1-5 hours to airports around throwing away valuable time. They said they would give a $50 voucher for a reduction in another flight, but this is NOT at all enough to compensate for the stress I (and my family) were put through. This is the worst experience with an airline I have ever had used. I would not EVER recommend this to anyone flying."

Cons: "Upon arriving at the airport, I was informed that my flight was canceled. They robotically said that the next flight isn't until over a week later (well after my scheduled vacation ends), and offered a refund as the only thing they could do. Frankly, a refund is literally the least they could do; there was no effort put into finding an alternate flight or offering other means of compensation for the inconvenience. Had I been in charge of this, I probably would have offered at least a voucher for a discounted future flight, so as to promote further patronage. When I asked why it had been canceled, they said some ambiguous nonsense about security in Fort Myers. When I then called Spirit Airlines, they said it was due to weather. Furthermore, the agent on the phone was equally unhelpful and uncaring as those in person. She explained that because I accepted the refund, there's nothing else they can offer. I tried to explain that those at the counter gave me a refund because it was the only option. In short, this was my first experience with Spirit, and I got the distinct impression that they had no interest in customer satisfaction whatsoever; they are solely in it for the monetary exchange. Once that transaction is complete, they want to be rid of you."

Cons: "Bought flight because it was cheapest advertised; however, paid $36 for my one carry-on and another $56 for my one checked bag! The $25 extra was due to it being over their 40# weight limit (other airlines allow 50#). I'm very petite (5'2" & 105#), but still felt the seat was extremely small! Upon landing, there wasn't a gate available; so we waited nearly an hour to de board the plane. The passenger next to me said that's happened 4 of the 5 times he's flown Spirit (1-3 hour waits!!). Lastly, our luggage took a considerably ling time to arrive at baggage claim. Although we landed by 6:43, it was 8:30 before I had my bag and could leave the airport."

Cons: "if the plane had not been an hour late, this Spirit flight would have rated "OKAY". first time with them, and they lived up to their "a la carte" rep. i am sure i am not the first person to joke about this, but i was shocked that i didn't have to slip a fiver into a slot in order to use the toilet. with all the add-ons, there is absolutely no benefit price-wise to flying with them. if you are carrying one small item, traveling alone, not in a hurry, i bet you'd love 'em. but any normal adult would feel cramped/gouged/abused. what a weird business model - folksy/hip/sarcastic ad copy that jokes about the lousy treatment you can expect to receive. such is the new economy."

Pros: "Very very nice aircraft !! Brand new airbus a320 very clean and quiet. The seat i purchsed was as expected(Big fromt seat). Pleny of leg room and space between the other passenger. Crew was not so friendly. Pilots did a great job very smoth ride and nice take off and landing."
Cons: "The price for this airline ticket ended up being much more than expected. Pay for carry on and seats etc. had a real hard time printing my borarding pass beacuse you cant print it from your phone or get an e-ticket. It has to b done on a land based computer. All of which i was never told during orignal purchase."

Pros: "The only thing I liked was the non stop routing. Opposition is mostly with a change. But the seats are terrible (I am tall) and the over head binds are very dangerous. (I am tall and have a scar to support the poor, old fashioned overhead bins."

I received it and my luggage tag was ripped off the luggage and the zipper was broken on a bag that was less than six months old! Very disappointed. I will NOT fly this airline ever again. Everyone that I have talked to since said the same thing. I'll stick to United and Southwest for all my future trips!"
