My plans changed and I tried to cancel or change the flight for credit but was giving the run around and denied . Not great

Excellent service, excellent food and beverage options, plenty of leg room

Checking in as an international flyer is a bit tedious

I was so hungry , from Boston to Tokyo, only 2 big food .

The crew was nice, the food could be better, and at least 2 bathroom stalls were out of service.

The crew was attentive and provided everything I needed. The food in business class was excellent.

Good experience for economy transpacific. Reasonable comfortable seats. Food was not as good as I expected or had on other prior transpacific flights but likely attribute that to rising cost of supplies. Staff is courteous. Overall, very good.

Good the crew was nice very kind and very helpful

The original email I received and flight that I paid for was for Japan Airlines. Since JAL is a partner with American, I ended up on an American Airlines plane. This would not be a problem, except that JAL allows 2 check in bags for free and American only allows 1. A $100.00 unexpected expense was very disturbing, especially since I will have to pay it again on my way home. I feel like it was a bait and switch. I never would have chosen American Airlines if I had known that I would have to pay $200.00 in baggage fees, above and beyond my airfare. Secondly, the check in counter representative did not realize that I had TSA pre-check, so I had to return to the check-in desk on a different floor to get a new boarding pass. The AA representative helping at the check-in kiosks was very helpful, kind, polite, and professional when I returned for the new boarding pass. Thirdly, the crew was not as friendly as I have experienced on other airlines. Their tone when speaking to other passengers was not always polite. The food was better than I expected. However, I am used to having a station where one can serve themselves water, juice or grab a snack. That was not the case on this flight. Truly makes me think twice about booking with American Airlines. I am very disappointed.

Crews are rude and short. Example: after my drink and was ready to prep my bed to rest. I tried to give my empty glasses to the steward while she was playing her card game on her iPad. The steward told me to take the glass back to my table instead of taking the glass out of my hand. Compare Japanese steward it’s like heaven and hell.

Honestly the bathroom cabinet under sink fell out and was completely broken. The floor or walkway was worn out and it smelled wierd. But the seats were terrible for comfort. I truly hope that my trip home in February is better.

The cabin crew was absolutely wonderful, the service was great and it was just a good flight overall.

Alaska is generally the airline I fly nearly all the time. I nearly always have wonderful experiences on Alaska and never a complaint. However, this entire flight felt like we were in the cheap seats the entire time and I had even upgraded to a cushier seat. For an over six hour flight (that became 7 hours) there was no online entertainment. I couldn’t connect to Wi-Fi and we were offered one snack and one drink. We were instructed to go to a particular baggage claim and 30 minutes later our bag still hadn’t come out and it turned out it was the wrong carousel announced. So overall, this flight was a series of mishaps really less than mediocre service even though flight attendants were wonderful.

After a swift boarding we had to wait in the plane for over 40 minutes to take off. The same happened when we landed. Alaska had much more work to do on their timetable

The flight crew was very professional and pleasant. Our flight was delayed 3 hours, but Kayak informed me in advance

I really hate the seat assignment at the gate. I understand it is so families can sit together but it caused me and others a lot of unnecessary stress and confusion, enough for me to not fly Alaska again. The app is so awful that it did not even update my seat assignment on the boarding pass but sent me a notification of my seat... it showed in Apple Wallet but not in the Alaska app itself. That only made the stress worse. I think most people like myself prefer to know where they are seated at check in 24 hours before so they don't have to anxiously hang out at the gate the entire time. This is not a good use of your agents time either to be dealing with all of us asking where we are sitting. You should automatically assign the multiple seat purchases to be together before they check in and fill us solo travelers in those gaps as we check in.

My Alaska Airlines return flight, although worked out in the end, didn't start off well. The initial plane that my family and I boarded was grounded because of a mishap that happened to one of the engines and everyone on board had to disembark the plane. Thankfully we were accommodated with a another plane but our initial flight was supposed to have departed at 11 pm San Diego time for Orlando but instead we ended up leaving at 1:40 am San Diego time. All Passengers were informed that part of the delay was that the plane had to be inspected by the captain, the food had to be stocked and the individuals responsible for fueling the plane left for the evening and had to be summoned to return to fill up our. The Alaska Airlines crew at the airport and on the plane were awesome and apologetic. I know that the crew wasn't responsible for the mishap of the engine but I think in the future the airline should offer a complimentary drink or (1) item of food other than pretzels, nuts or chips to all passengers since we're not to blame for the extreme set backs. The airline in general is good and I recommend to all flyers.

Alaska Airlines have beautiful new airplanes that have comfortable seats but tight for a tall person like myself. They do provide upgrades to flyers but at a $140 cost. My flight went smooth and prompt as well as without a hitch. The flight crew were warm and friendly as well as very attentive. I'd recommend this airline over Frontier airlines any day.

I like them since I live in Alaska and I don't have much choice

My first flight was delayed by over an hour, luckily I had Long layovers on an itinerary from hell, because when you book a Saver ticket, they change your itinerary and make it many stops and long layovers, and there were still delays. On the return flight there was a delay in the first leg, Orlando to Seattle, so I got up really early for nothing, and on the last leg Anchorage to Fairbanks, it was over 2 hours late taking off! I didn't get home until 1 :30am! By the time I got my luggage, the flight landed at 1 am. For the departure day, I was up from 6am to when I arrived the next day at 6am in Orlando. So I was up for 22 hours, 3:15am to almost 2 am the next day. On the return day. The moral of the story is, DON"T EVER BUY SAVER TICKETS! You can't even upgrade your seat when you do that and then at the last minute they want Big bucks to upgrade the day before leaving.

Teeny tiny bathrooms, crew was not realistic about when we'd arrive.

Check-in, boarding and the flight from Phoenix to Houston was quick and easy. The flight from Houston to Shreveport was delayed 5 hours. It was frustrating but I think United handled it the best they could.

Some flight attendants were great others were cranky. Seats were very tight and sitting on an aisle was very hard as the carts and people walking constantly bumped shoulder and arm.

It was great with United overall except for two things. 1) It was a 5-hour flight and we were with kids, so we were asking for extra snacks. They were extremely reticent to dole them out even though there wasn't any meal and the kids were starting to hit their limit towards the end. 2) Baggage didn't arrive until 80 minutes after we landed.

They lost my luggage, so, not happy. The crew was nice but my suitcases never made it, still trying to find out what happened!

The staff was hospitable and professional. The seat had a bit of wear. The winner shade was stuck 1/4 open. I received the best of both worlds. The morning sun was able to come in and blind the screen i was trying to use while at the same time it was too low to look out and enjoy the view. Rather embarrassing for a 1st class ticket.

Perfect flight. Smooth flight. Arrived 20 minutes early at destination. Excellent service.

The flights were on time which was great give. It was holiday travel season and there’d been some weather issues. The only complaint and this is every time with United is the terrible seat design. The head rest is not built for comfort and having my neck bent forward for a cross country trip reminded me while I try not to take United flights as a rule.

Going to Tokyo was not so good. Back to Detroit was excellent.

I’m so sorry, I can’t remember her name, I believe it was Dimpti. She was stellar, also a mature Asian flight attendant, lots of flowers in her hair, just as amazing! But literally the crew was AWESOME . Only downside is there weren’t any charging outlets. Maybe I needed to ask a flight attendant , but it would’ve been nice to have one easily accessible.

Lower WiFi prices; allow us to see our flight on a map; more variety of drink choices.

So excited very proud first of all I wanna thank kayak all updates very professional and fast alart And amazing cabin crew so nice to me they deserve big salute

UGH I HAD TO MISS MY FIRST FLIGHT TO TAMPA CAUSE OF THE 10 MINUTE DELAY OF THE ORLANDO TO MIAMI ONE SO THEY HAD ME GET ANOTHER TICKET. I AM NOT HAPPY AT ALL BECAUSE IT MADE ME MISS MY CONNECTING FLIGHT FROM TAMPA TO LONDON AND FORCED ME TO MISS A DAY AT MY ROOM IN THE UK.

Wish they didnt delay off-boarding for 10 minutes so i could connect to my flight from miami to tampa

We experienced gate changes and a long delay. My seat was dirty when I boarded and I had to use wipes to clean it myself. There was an unpleasant and overpowering cleaning product scent on the plane as well that lingered through the flight.

Seats were much more cramped then on the 737. Narrower and rows closer together. Flight was absolutely packed and the plugs under the seats didn't work. Was forced to check my bag even though previous flight had no issue with it.

Good food & refreshment. The seats and entrainment screens are modern compared to others. The staff though pleasant serve and attend to passengers based on nationality. Some get served first others last regardless of their seating positions.

It was fine. My connection in Charlotte to go to WPB was too late and I had to spend the night in the Charlotte Airport in the mini suites.

The flight was on time and arrived early. The crew were friendly and helpful.

My carry on baggage was damaged. Entire trip, I had to carry the baggage. When complained to the boarding crew, they got mad at me and still asked me to valet check in the cabin baggage. Rude boarding crew!!!

Flight cancellations, delays, mass confusion and disorganization! That’s Air Canada for you, nothing new. I would have chosen a different airline if it were an option, and Air Canada continues to prove they don’t care about their customers.

everything was fine. but paying for 1 piece of check-in luggage and denying passengers to board with carry-on luggage which by air line's standards does not fit is not acceptable. when one travels for a longer time one needs to have some essentials

Couldn't fit knees, only 1 toilet working, didn't get anything to drink cause the stewards were not able to get to us

Flight was canceled for a reason they knew hours before but did not mention. Next the gate chnage from 37 to 38 at least 10 times. Ridiculous.

The flight from SFO to YVR was delayed and my bag did not make it to my next flight from YVR to SYD. It took almost 3 days after I landed to get my bag and when I got it, it was filled with dust

Our biggest complaint about Air Canada is that if you don’t like your seat during check-in, there’s a fee to move elsewhere. On our flight from YUL to FFL, we were charged to change seats—just regular seats. What’s maddening is that the plane wasn’t even full; there were even a few people sleeping in the middle row sections (entire rows, completely empty), using them as beds. In my opinion, charging passengers for seat changes is a cash grab by Air Canada. They are definitely not the airline they were back in the day. I suppose they need to gouge the consumer now that they pay their attendants while on ground. One out of 10.

Nothing specific. Cabin temperature was too high for some reason.

This flight with a lot empty place , and I have more room, feeling comfortable.

It was just fine. I managed to make all my connection too sbut had trouble in Munich with no wheel chair and trouble trying to get help from the airport people to get to the other terminal for my flight. Finally a wonderful lady Amelia, helped me to make my flight connection Timon with zero time to spare.

Over 40 years ago my AC return flight was canceled, during this last summer the same thing happened. AC denied everything Canadian like paying for accommodations and basic necessities. So why would I ever want to fly AC again? This last flight my wife took the return flight had problems and left late, so I guess they are getting better. However I have no faith in this airline so I drove to this last destination! I'll never fly AC again!!!
