Panama has temporarily suspended the entry of all travelers who spent 20 days in the UK or in South Africa prior to their journey. Nationals and residents of Panama are exempt from this restriction.
Travelers must complete a "Declaracion Jurada de Salud".
Travelers must present a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test issued within 48 hours of departure to Panama. Travelers with Laissez-Passer are exempt from testing requirement.
Travelers without a negative COVID-19 PCR-RT test must undertake a test at the airport for USD 50, at their own expense.
Nationals of Panama who have been in the past 20 days in South Africa or United Kingdom are subject to COVID-19 test upon arrival and quarantine.
It is now possible to transit Panama. Transit travelers will need to have a confirmed onward flight and will not be allowed to leave the airport. They may also need to take a COVID-19 test and receive a negative result to be able to fly. Travelers should check the requirements for the country of final destination as requirements may vary.

Flew with a 1st class upgrade to DFW and upon missing the connection to DSM (imputable to AA) I would have expected AA to have me await my later conection (3 hrs AA 2488) in the Admiral’s club especially after having paid for the upgrade. Instead, the bozo at the Admiral’s Club entrance in Terminal A A23 indicated that only Mexico City passengers were allowed into the Club even if as a GDL passenger I had a 1st class boarding pass. Poor and misguided management of the moment of truth on behalf of your employee with a 1 Million Miler customer. My experience recently with Delta and United has been with more open minded, customer centric and better trained airline staff. Disappointing and hope someone will read this and let me know that my note was heard. What is next?"

Well turns out they make you jump through so many hoops that your travel insurance fee is useless. I sent a letter to Allianz (the company that handles the travel insurance) and blasted them for their insensitivity in a difficult time. Going forward, I will not be purchasing travel insurance in the future. It may sound irrational but if you think about it, travel insurance is the tax on gullible people. You hear travel insurance and one assumes that if you spend the extra money on the insurance and something comes up, you can at least get much of your money back. Don't count on it! It's a 1/1000 chance they will do the right thing so the odds are not in people's favor. If you want to be smart, use the money you would have spent on travel insurance on some pre flight cocktails at the airport bar. Air travel is hellish enough without scams like Allianz!"

Cons: "Where to start? How about when I checked in at the counter, I asked the check in attendant to add my FF number on my ticket. They said they'll get right to it, handed me my tickets and sent me on my way. It never happened. Not a big deal, I can request the mileage post flight, but still something. Look at my tickets, that I had booked a week in advance and specifically reserved an aisle seat. My ticket says "Priority Verification," whatever that means. Turns out it means you don't have a seat, and you get the worst of the worst. So what seat is the worst? How about the middle seat in a row of 5. The middle in a row of 5, on a transoceanic flight... What kind of airlines has 5 in a row? The guy next to me spent $300 for his ticket, I spent $1200, for the same flight, and this is the kind of seat I get? The plane felt like it was straight out of the 90's, carpeted center walls, old seats, tiny tv's. Overall, a plane that felt had not been updated in decades. Took 20 minutes for a flight attendant to respond to the flight attendant sign. This wasn't during beverage or food service, just a normal time at cruising altitude. They also don't have eye masks. Every other transoceanic flight I've been on has them provided in the seat pocket, American Airlines doesn't even have them on the plane! Economy class has no USB or power outlets, the in flight entertainment is about a 5" screen in probably 260p resolution. Decent selection of movies, but you have to join the movie in progress or wait approx 10 minutes for the next movie to start. Legroom was okay unless you had one of the entertainment boxes in your way, then that takes up 30% of your space. Some of the tray tables do not have cup holders, on the top, bottom, or anywhere on it. Also my table was tilted, so every time I put a cup on it, it slid right off. Seems like a minor complaint, but eating dinner and fighting a sliding cup the whole time is a pain. Dinner and breakfast tasted decent, but you can tell American is cheap on the food. Most airlines will give something like a main course, a bread roll, fruit cup/salad, juice, small dessert. American gives you the main course and a fruit cup and that is all. Crappy utensils too. Overall, if I had paid maybe $200 for the flight, I wouldn't have any room to complain, but because American holds the government carrier contract for FY17, I had to fly on them at exorbitant cost, and would never recommend them to anyone."
Pros: "I have no praise for American Airlines. We didn't board our flight because we would have landed in a flooding, evacuating area with gale force winds. Despite this unexpected natural event, we were unable to cancel our trip. I paid American Airlines more than a month's rent and could not recover this cost."
Cons: "American Airlines policy on refunds should be illegal. When there are hurricane and flooding conditions at a destination, CUSTOMERS should have the choice whether they want to CANCEL or reschedule. Simply providing a small window of time for a fee-free flight change to the same destination is not acceptable. The flooding is still not alleviated inany areas and the change period is over."

Two people near me were blasting their smartphones listening to music and/or playing games with their smartphones but without earphones and not one person from the crew told them to shut it up."

I was at the back of the plane and there was NO fresh food available once the flight attendants reached the last 6-10 rows. Unacceptable that there is not enough food options for all passengers. Carry-ons wound up being "stowed". It would have been nice to know before I bought the tickets that I needed a smaller carry on."

Cons: "I paid good money to be back by 6am however I was delayed and had flights cancelled which made me get home 10 hours later than I should have. This was an overnight flight, so all the places to buy food were closed- United didn't offer snacks or blankets or really anything for the troubles. There were kids also stranded."
