I am request a total refund and suffering. Fight JL7519 from Miami to Los Angeles on June 9. I paid my Covid test $300usd (antigen then PCR). I also booked three Hong Kong Hotels. W's Hotel, then Homy inn North point. The last Hotel was with Japan agent, he said Regal Hong Kong is "fine" but after I booked and paid the Hotel. Then the Japan airlines said "no". The JAL staff were all great at SFO and Haneda. I highly recommend JAL. I know I will be looking out for future flights with JAL. The food was very good as well as the snacks they prepared. Entertainment ok, the movie selection was ok. If JAL could add usbc charging that would be great. Also Bluetooth connectivity to the entertainment system would awesome. The headset connectivity was not great. High pitched noise came out if the headset. I did have trouble contacting JAL support while in Japan. I needed information about Covid testing for my return to the US. Basically no one picked up the phone. I ended up paying a lot of money for Covid testing when I could have paid less if I could have confirmed some information over the phone. Hopefully the US stops requiring Covid testing for entering the US or cheaper options become available. $160 x 4 was no fun!!

It was very frustrating experience with Kayak and Japan Airlines. Chatdeal with Kayak has handled the issue in a very unprofessional manner. I had booked japan airlines from San Diego to Bengaluru via narita on Nov 21. While at San Diego airport , I came to know that japan airlines flight from Narita to Bengaluru was cancelled 2 months ago. The airlines asked me to check with Kayak as they were the primary ticket issuer. Now the issue begins from here : Chatdeal in association with Kayak was my primary ticket issuer. Firstly the customer support number that they had issued was of no use as it would always ask me to connect to representative via chat. So I went over chat over. Now in the chat, the representative were very slow in responding. They took almost 30 min for 1 response. All this while I was at San Diego airport having nowhere to go. Finally after hours of discussion, they said that this matter will be taken care by CHANGE section of chatdeal and they would require 24 hrs to come back. I objected as I was in San Diego airport with nowhere else to go. I decided to book a flight myself at 2.5 times to original cost. Finally I agreed and waited for 24hrs. But they never got back. After couple of days and after multiple attempts to get response over mail, finally they responded just to wait for some more days and its Still on going after 1.5 months. This was one of the worst case of professionalism

a flight crew by name Alani or elenna she was very rude she talks down to me with no courtesy, she tried to make me buy an empty seat, thinking i aint got the money to buy the seat, after i bought the seat for $109 she came back saying i "still need your ticket or i going to cancel your payment", i told her did the payment went tru, she said "yes but i still need your ticket #", i was fine you win cancel it and ill go back to my assigned seat, when I ask for her name she said it loudly infront of my face, she is kinda ugly old lady but the sad part is shes way uglier on the inside no more Hawaiian airlines for life

And they said it was because my bag would get there much later than me - which I was upset about but understood. Fast forward 4 1/2 hours later and I land on Oahu. My bag is sitting at the terminal because it came over on a plane that got there before me. Totally unhappy - I fly to California and back almost every month and I've never had an experience like this"

I was disappointed to learn that the only in-flight entertainment I had available without paying was short documentary films about Hawaiian Airlines or their staff's travels. On a five hour flight it is particularly frustrating to have so little available. My Delta flight by contrast offered multiple movie titles. In fact, I could have gotten another flight for less $ with more entertainment (but going to a different city)."

Of course I couldn't change my seat to aisle because everyone boarded already. Food was horrible, it was cabbage and chicken. Drinks(juice) were small, like shots. I always request aisle for various reasons, I like to get up and walk around because this is my 4th leg of my trip. To top my horrible experience with, my bags didn't make it from my SFO flight to Sydney flight. I wasted time waiting and looking around for my bags and standing in line for missing/lost bags. I arrived here on Sunday and it's now Wednesday morning and I still haven't received my bags yet. Hawaiian better pay me money for the inconvenience or air b points. To be honest this will be my last time flying with Hawaiian, I thought it was just rumors that they are ones of the worst. Hawaiian makes Jetstar looks like a 5 star airline. I'm a frequent flyer and I have flown just about every airlines out there."

Disability assistance was horrible(wheelchair) assistance in SFO. I had NO assistance for 90 minutes to obtain a wheelchair while .d waiting to board my departure from SFO . The same was true but worse on the return to SFO. I was let off the plane LAST and the wheelchair was not there and I waited. The wheelchair person parked me outside the gate and said NOTHING and walked away. After 15 minutes waiting for his return, I went on my own and nearly passed out waiting in the horrible immigration line. It took 120 minutes from leaving the plane to getting in my car at the airport. Ridiculoius and a violation of Americans with Disabilities ACT."

Great service great food and drink

Already submitted a review for my flight prior to this from Athens to Frankfurt. Very disappointed with this leg of our trip with Lufthansa since the journey TO Athens the week prior was so much better: Lufthansa changed traveller requirements without email updates during our trip and then somehow expected us to know how to adequately prepare. They also made me pay for checked bags when my booking already included a checked bag for my partner and myself... an extra $120 charge that I didn't have time to dispute in the moment, as my partner and I had to race to fulfill Lufthansa's new "all passengers MUST be covid tested" requirement within a slim time frame or risk missing our flight (in spite of arriving at the airport 2 hours early). We even tried calling Lufthansa the day prior since we were having difficulty with online check-in and there was no way to speak directly to an employee. Only voicemail or a chatbot at the website (you can imagine how helpful that was in resolving our inquiries...)

Cons: "The seats should be fixed to prevent them from going back as far as they do. With space so small as it is, it is unnecessary to have them go back so far if at all. More than ten people were left behind - doors practically closed in our faces - and Lufthansa was wholly unhelpful in rescheduling flights. Lines to speak with agents were absurd and then attendants had to take breaks instead of resolve issues. There were no solutions offered, only poor communication and an unwillingness to accommodate a significant number of customers who were inconvenienced. Finally, a "random inspection" led to a handful of passengers being surveyed by the German local police. Interestingly, a number of us were Hispanic Americans. The whole experience was extremely negative."

Then when I called in to the Romania Service Center to rebook, the phones went down in the middle of the call. That is understandable given the extreme volume of calls they were handling. What is unacceptable, is that they made no attempt to contact me once the phones were up. I ended up calling the U.S. service center at 1am local time to rebook...only 3 hours before I needed to leave for the airport. It took an hour - which I paid for at direct dial international rates - to find a flight. I'm very grateful for the U.S. service rep who was kind and helpful. She was the one bright spot in this poorly handled situation."
