Cabin crew was very pleasant and served good snacks. The captain welcomed us aboard and told us about the flight and conditions expected along the way. Flight was as he predicted and we landed early, always a bonus. Would infidelity fly them again!!"

It didn’t happen. The flight left early. We would have made our connection had they left on time. Our arriving flight had a 2.5 hour delay. We would have made it on our connection had they not left early. Now our luggage is in limbo.
There was a delay leaving Aruba that made me rush to my connecting flight from Atlanta to Charlottesville. Refueling is a normal part of air travel and for it to take so long seemed odd. I am not sure if that was the airlines fault or the airports fault. Other then that the trip went smooth

Not a big deal but we were traveling with a 10 month old so miscommunications like that cause a larger inconvenience than usual. The real downer on the flight was when we needed hot water quickly to warm our infant's bottle. The stewardess had begun beverage service and was about 8 rows away from us. My wife hit the call button, expecting the stewardness to come over somewhat quickly. Instead, she just continued beverage service and got to us about 15 mins later. By that point it was too late and the baby was wailing from hunger. When we asked why, knowing that we had a small child, the stewardness didn't just push the cart forward and attend to us more quickly, she said she didn't want to do that. No apology, not even a sense of remorse. At the end of the day, a customer's experience will always be tainted by poor service and that is what we received on our flight."

My flight was delayed 12 hours overnight due to "weather" and since it was reportedly because of uncontrollable weather delta didn't have to do anything for me so I slept in the JFK airport overnight, they wouldn't even give a $59 pass to their sky miles club for the afternoon. It felt like an easy excuse so they wouldn't have to do anything since there were other airlines still flying out of JFK and to go CLE before my rescheduled flight which makes me believe it wasn't all weather. Since the flight was delayed 12 hours instead of being cancelled they wouldn't let me switch to a different airline either. Then, in the morning when it was rescheduled to it was again delayed because they first couldn't find a captain and then couldn't find a fort mate. We finally took off and arrived in Cleveland only to wait another 30 minutes for a gate and a ground crew that they couldn't find. I will never fly delta again."

What was that???? I mean 2.15hrs without it and then they request something that they don´t provide!!!!"

After a long day and a 9 hour flight from Rome, which got in an hour early, our flight to CLE was then delayed an hour, making an already ugly 4 hour layover in Philadelphia into a truly nasty 6 hour layover. I had not realized what a miserable airport that is. There is no shuttle bus between terminals (there were deceptive signs in terminal A, but the other terminals had signs saying "walk to other terminals"). The buildings are old, the air conditioning out of control (around 60 degrees and wind-tunnel gusty), food bad and overpriced. I will avoid this airport in future.
Too much delay at every step of the travel. Even after landing, had to stay at tarmac for a long time due to unavailable gate. Overall a bad experience of 3.5 Hr delay for one Hr flight. Families with children and mask were struggling to be there.
Absolutely horrible check in process leaving Aruba. Arrived 3 hours early. Line stretched from inside to out of airport. No movement in 1 hour. Two hours left. Much less than 1/2 to desk with one hour left and multiple security and customs checks (both Aruba and US). Two flights from Aruba leaving to Miami with American a only couple of hours apart. No one came through trying to determine who had the earlier flight to make sure no one missed it. If not for my “pushy” wife who moved us into “First Class” line to bypass others, we would have missed flight as obviously most people waiting around us did as they did not board the plane. Not enough American Airlines staff working at counters. Very slow check in process. The extensive Verifly process we did to document our immunizations and vaccines we were told was not working so they wanted to see documents. They wanted to charge us for checked bag despite we had a checked bag included. Same story from others who actually made the flight.
For auch a short flight it is annoying the number of announcements, mainly because you have a 30 to 35 mins flight and you music or movie stop for every announcement. They announced a drink service that never happened (understandable for such a short flight, but don’t bother me from sleeping or listening to music or watching a movie with and announcement we have to disregard) The crew was good… I feel bad for them having to push the credit cards so hard (also annoying) I did like the video of the safety features better than the old fashioned presentations

Cons: "I've had flights canceled before, but clearly American Airlines/ JFK is not equipped to manage. American Airlines online hung up on me after 24 minutes of being on hold. I waited in line for 2 hours to get on another flight home and the attendant first suggested to fly me to Charlotte then Cleveland where I would arrive a day late after I'd been traveling with my elderly parents for 24 hours. Additionally, once we changed flights and had to go to Newark, it took an hour to print (yes, print) our new itineraries for United and then when the cab should have arrived immediately, we waited 45 minutes. I was displeased."

Personal entertainment monitor did not work for the first leg of the flight. Got to final destination 2hrs after schedule. No food for international flight, even considering an additional 2hrs on top of the 6.5 hr flight."

We missed connected flight to Albany. United gave us only option: morning flight to Washington and then To Albany which is inacceptable option. We took rental car. Also: Workers at Newark do not coordinate. Super Slow and give disinformation."

Lots of folks wanting to charge phones and other electronics, but only one charging kiosk for hundreds of folks waiting to board two flights."
Pros: "Flight attendants were very courteous and professional. And things ran very smoothly. My only very minor issue was regarding the captain. First of all, he got us there safe and sound with very little turbulence and on time; however, usually on those cross-country flights, the captain often announces interesting geographical features as we fly over them. That didn't happen and I missed it. Well, I was a geography major and I am a teacher, so from my perspective, it seemed like a missed opportunity."

Pros: "5 zones with specific lines make so much sense! Worked well. The seats were some of the smallest I have ever had, so not impressed and since I am tall, a bit of a deal breaker. I am normally a delta fan, so won't be switching anytime soon. All else worked fine...a short somewhat turbulent flight so no water/drink service, which is understandable."

The staff was kind enough to get my mom a seat on another flight that day, which was good as she was out of medication after traveling two weeks. 3 of us had to fly standby. The staff said we would automatically be added to the next flight's standby list if we ddin't make it. That was bad information - it didn't happen."

Cons: "Free in-flight entertainment should be offered on all flights of 2+ hours through the United app. Had a family with young kids next to me who would have benefited from it (I saw the father trying to connect to it through the app), and overall it would make the flight a much more pleasant experience. After boarding a full hour later than what was originally said, it would have been nice to kick back with a movie for the flight."
Cons: "Flight was delayed over six hours. No explanation was given as to why and the flight was supposed to arrive at 6:45 and we got in at 12:30. Poor service at the gate and then we got on the plane and sat on the Tarmac for an hour with no explanation again. The air wasn't on and not drinks or snacks were offered for our wait time. a disappointing way to end an otherwise great weekend away."

Also paid $50 extra for priority boarding and security but was informed by the airport staff in Aruba that it didn't apply for that airport. Seats are a little tight"
