Cons: "The fact that the lack of knowledge regarding international travel visas by the counter staff and supervisor meant that two days of the vacation were lost. Upon arrival in China the 144 hour travel visa was granted with no problem within minutes, but the U.S. staff was completely befuddled by the possibility. The interrogation was completely stressful and resulted in a reschedule of the original flight and during the second attempt at flying even an email from the U.S. consulate with a link to the Shanghai/Chinese government immigration site was deemed "not official enough". i will be expecting proper compensation. I was once given an $850 travel voucher for voluntarily giving up my seat, and was flown first class to Hawaii, given 4 star accomodation and then flown first class on to China within 48 hours. This was an involuntary bump from our chosen flight time, all because of a lack of knowledge about current visa regulations and international law on the part of the check in staff. We have been loyal Delta users for over 15 years, and this was the biggest blunder ever. Also humiliating and extremely frustrating, stressful and a big problem with fulfilling our travel plans between son and father."

Cons: "SAS has introduced hand luggage measurement and weighing at checkin, for a maximum of 17.5 lbs or 8 kg. SAS does not care if you have flown on another transatlantic carrier, which allows more than 8 kg. Then you need to start emptying your hand luggage at checkin. The whole checkin process was a big mess, the contract employees eg. at Heathrow do not help much (they probably do not do this to any other airline). SAS staff does not remind you to take your IDs and passport, medications etc. from your hand luggage, which is then checkedin luggage as opposed to hand luggage. It is obvious that transatlantic passengers have more hand luggage than many local passengers."

By the time the plane lands a few minutes late, then you actually get off the plane, you still need to take a shuttle bus to the terminal, where you wait in line for Customs/Immigration. I took a few minutes to use the bathroom and buy something to eat, then arrived at my gate to find they were on the final boarding call. Since the entire flight was full of promo videos for Iceland, it would have been nice to have at least a few minutes to look around the airport, and maybe even shop a little."

We were told by the Iceland Air supervisor inside the terminal that no one would miss their connecting flights. Not true. We were also told that if anyone did miss a connecting flight, everything would be taken care of and ready to go once we reached Iceland Not true. The crew didn't hand blankets out to everyone who needed one. A single beverage was offered for an almost 8 hour flight. No snacks or meals. The attendants were the least friendly and helpful of any I've experienced. They didn't make sure bags were stowed. They didn't check to make sure seat belts were on. I don't even know why the airline bothered with attendants. They did nothing."

As a result, I couldn’t leave my seat for the entire 9 hour flight. Come on BA! Have some compassion! These long flights need bigger seats."

The seats were comfortable, with neck support and low back pillows. The over-intercom announcements were just enough to keep passengers aware of relevant info. There were lots of entertainment choices on the tv in the back of the seat. The first meal was really good (pasta). Thank you for a great flight."

My wife, 2 year old son, and I was boarding at the gate and they couldn't scan my son's boarding pass. They quickly went over to the computer station and gave my son another pass. We went to our seats and found out someone else is in our 2year old seat. Apparently they gave the seat to someone else at the last second because up to the point when I printed our boarding passes at the kiosk, our seats were still together (and I paid $41/per seat extra to try to keep us together). The other customer was nice enough to switch with our son so were able to stay together at the last min so it goes to show AA priority and service."

Cons: "Parents left their 5 kids in the row behind me to horseplay. During the whole flight. Crew did nothing while they ran up and down the aisles. They parents and kids have been kicked off the plane for not being in their seats when told by the captain."

However some people are being allowed to check their bag at the gate for free. No one at the airport working for them had any good customer service skills. Wont fly with them again"

Pros: "Left on time, seemed to have a little more leg room than on previous flights. Experienced some air turbulence, but not sure pilot could have done anything about it. Delayed refreshments, but the attendants still managed to serve everyone."
