Also the seats were smaller and there was less leg room than the Alaska flight going out."

During the cockpit break, the young handsome pilot flirted with the young beautiful flight attendant who had positioned herself to block access to the forward bathroom. They chatted for what seemed like 10 min, her standing and facing us, him standing directly behind her, also facing us. We felt like we were on a soap opera set. And during the final 30 descent into Seatte, when we from Florida were extremely tired, the two forward flight attendants talked with each other in such load voices that it was impossible to keep reading my book. Admittedly, they were just chatting, but doing so in such a load voice that we could not escape."

Rather than apologizing and stopping, the teenager immediately began complaining about how my fiancé was encroaching on her space. My fiancé replied that it was well within his rights to lean his seat back. The teenager responded with further complaints. Her comments were out of line and rude. It was clear that she was not satisfied with my fiancé having his seat leaning back. My fiancé eventually put his seat back, and the teenager stopped complaining. We believed that the situation had been resolved, but apparently the teenager was not satisfied. Instead, she went to a flight attendant and lodged a complaint against my fiancé. Rather than hear our side, the flight attendant immediately asked us to move to a different seat. We were forced to move, against our will, to two separate middle seats further forward in the plane. We no longer were able to sit next to each other for the remaining five hours of the flight. And this was all because one particular teenager did not want my fiancé to put his seat back, which he is certainly allowed to do. Overall, the situation was handled poorly. We paid to sit together on a flight, but due to one other passenger's attitude, we were forced to sit in seats that we did not choose apart from one another. The flight attendant should have at least heard our side of the story and offered us an alternative. Instead, we were forced to accommodate another passenger who was in the wrong. Not to mention, throughout this entire process - which lasted about 30 minutes - I was not able to use the GoGo Inflight Internet Package I had just paid for. That was money wasted. The experience was embarrassing, disruptive, and awkward. We love Alaska Airlines, and we are usually pleased with their customer service. However, tonight, the customer service we received did not meet our needs; instead the flight attendant exacerbated the situation and we left our flight feeling frazzled, angry and disappointed."

When we arrived at the gate, the ramp had already been retracted so we missed our flight. Next flight was the next day so we had to rent another rental car, another night's hotel totaling an extra $200 in Waikiki. At least they changed my flight without fees. I was informed by anAA employee they the connection is frequently missed due to similar problems. 2. Flight attendants and gate agents will bankrupt the airline with their horrible attitude. - they should be fired."

The horror was at the airport in Venice where it took over two hours in very long line just to get through passport check."

Flight crew did not check seatbelts prior to takeoff in the forward section of coach. At least one seatbelt remained unsecured and one child had a backpack on his lap during takeoff. Very unprofessional crew. Credit card promotions over the PA system were very annoying and unintelligible."
Pros: "AA canceled our flight on 9/13 and rescheduled us to 9/15 for no apparent reason. There were flights leaving Orlando. When I called to ask why since all I received was a text message the customer service rep was rude. Then I received another text message on 9/13 at 4:30 am saying my flight was canceled and we were rebooked again!!! After calling again I was told if I want to leave on Friday we would have to leave from another airport that was over an hour away which means $225 in transportation to get us there! This is on top of the 2 additional hotel nights we paid for and additional meals. When I asked if we would be compensated for all the additional expenses we were incurring I was told it's weather related so probably not. I informed the rep that flights have been leaving Orlando since Tuesday 9/12 so that cannot be the case. She said to try to contact them online. UNACCEPTABLE. I will not fly AA again and I will not recommend them to family or friends. If I could give zero stars I would but the survey defaults to one star."
Pros: "Nice modern plane. Even though the flight was delayed, we ended up boarding earlier than expected and arrived pretty close to our original expected arrival time."
Cons: "The crew was nice and everything, but they weren't very good at making announcements on the loudspeaker. You could tell they didn't really know what they were saying or haven't practiced. One lady was trying to make a sales pitch for a new master card and you could tell she was reading and there were long pauses. My sense is that when using the loudspeaker to talk to the entire flight, one should be practiced and know what they're saying and communicate quickly and efficiently. Don't mean to be critical, but it's something that I noticed that could be improved."

I was sitting in the back and the flight attendant who was suppose to assist us made us feel like i was a bother to her. Finally she brought my daughter and I some coffee. i ask for sugar and she said im very busy you have to wait....eventually she gave me one packet of sugar. I had to ask for another sugar for my daughter , so when i ask she gets upset and tells me i have to wait but there as a white who ask for assistance and she was very polite to her."

I received errors when trying to access gogoinflight on my tablet, even when I had the most updated app. Therefore I was unable to use the app during my flight to Philadelphia. Also, when checking in from our original departure location, MCO, we were not provided our boarding pass or luggage tags for our final destination, Barcelona, only to our connecting flight, Philadelphia. The connecting flight was delayed in MCO for an 1 hour and a half, after we have boarded the plane. So we waited in the plane for the whole hour and half while a maintenance issue was being resolved. The delay almost cost us to be late for our final flight to Barcelona. Since we were not given our boarding passes for PHL to BCL it caused confusion when trying to board our plane in PHL to Barcelona, and also caused for our baggage to not arrive with the flight. After landing, we spent an additional 2 hours at the Airport going through customs, and waiting on line for the lost and found desk for baggage in Barcelona. The lost and found desk had three agents available to assist, however we can only talk to one which was designated specifically for American Airlines. This caused a very long wait time of 1 hour. We were advised the bags stayed in Phildelaphia since they did not have the additional luggage tags, and will not arrive till the next day. Overall the experience within the Airport kiosks, service desks, and baggage check in' s was not a pleasant experience. I believe many of these issues could have been avoided if the American Airlines agents were more knowledgeable and attentive."

The entire aircraft boarded and sat, again, for 30 minutes without any air conditioning or air flow in the cabin.) Blah experience. Blah employees. And two different captains announced the reasons for delay with an "annoyed tone.""

In they end the decided to fly with the lavatory after waiting for 1 hour take off time. Then that chained different causes, runway delay times and gate taxi delays at landing. The flight was very bumpy because they were trying to make up for lost time, such a mess."

Nearby passengers retrieved blankets from their carry on baggage. Glad I had at least a light jacket to throw over me and that my legs were partially covered. The food made me sick for two days - so it is better to just not eat it and bring your own. It is sad as I united used to be a great airline and now they just seem to focus on what new fee they can charge."

Cons: "This flight was actually from Denver to Kona. There was 1.5 hour delay due to mechanical issue with plane, so we had to switch gates and planes. That wasn't so bad. What made it bad was an extra 45 minute delay because apparently maintenance forgot to sign off on the new plane. Also, the space below the seat for my feet and carry-on was unacceptable. All the aisle seats like mine had only half the space of the window seats for their feet. If you're in an aisle seat on that plane, it's impossible to fit anything but the size of a small purse under the seat in front of you. And the middle seat fares only a bit better. Finally, with 7 hours of flight time plus about an hour waiting to depart from gate on plane, the crew ignorantly decided to hand out the Hawaii form to fill out within 2 minutes of preparing to land. Many people didn't have time to fill out the form before being required to put tray tables up. Fortunately, these forms aren't as serious as going thru customs, but it's stupid to pass out the forms that late into the flight expecting people to complete them."

She was arguing with another passenger before helping me over the same subject, so when I tried to explain that the smallest backpack was almost empty and fit inside the other, she was impatient, upset ignored me and was already demanding my credit card with the bag tag in her hand rushing me. I paid extra $60.00 after I had paid $25,00 for the first bag when I could have put the flexible kipling inside the Jansport if she had listened to me. The flight delayed after I was unable to defend myself and paid an unfair feer."

If you find a reasonably priced flight you don't have to worry about paying extra for baggage or stomach during the flight. On the flight home, I realized that they have bigger seats, your bags ( 1 personal, 1 carry-on, and 2 checked bags) are "free" and they give you a little snack to hold you for maybe and hour. Overall I prefer Southwest because of all the benefits you get while flying with them but it doesn't mean I will never fly United again."

We didn't eat anything on the flight this time, but the complimentary snacks on our other flight were tasty, and the Gin&Tonic was exactly what I needed. While we didn't pay for the in-flight entertainment, we know the entertainment is exceptional, and were only disappointed we were pinching pennies. Boarding was pleasant enough in Newark, but Orlando is a terrible airport, and people there seem very ill-mannered. Not United staff, just people in general."

They should have made those individuals check their "carry on". Also limited snacks available by the time they were able to provide service to my area of the plane."
Pros: "That the captain kept us informed as much as he knew constantly. Liked that allot. They kept apologizing for the weather delay."
Cons: "When we had to taxi back to the terminal to get more gas and sit there realizing we would be on the plane 5 plus hours instead of 2 1/2 hours, I wish they would have found a way to bring lunches onto the plane for purchase. I think everyone would buy. I brought a few snacks but not much. That would have turned the experience into excellent. They could have sent someone to grab yogurts or packed sandwiches. Would have helped."
Cons: "We paid 160$ to upgrade both of our seats to economy plus for more leg room. Unfortunately, when we got to our seats, we realized our seats could not recline because they were in front of the exit row, which is understandable but we wished it would have warned us of that obstacle when we picked out the seats. I am also 5 months pregnant and so we felt that we paid more for what turned out to be a less comfortable flight."
Pros: "We had a good flight on a beautiful day. Smooth ride no weather or atmosphere issues. Thank God. Stewardess was very polite."
Cons: "Wheel chairs were not provided in time. We had to wait till airline emptied and still wait. Cause of lack of assistance for wheel chair transporters. Some had connecting flights, pray they made it there. The ones that came to pick us up one two persons for eight people could not do the job. So we were taken off air craft n put out in lobby, to wait for all to be off the aircraft and then transport, one at a time to baggage claim area. Transporters and stewardess did a very gd job. Just the lack of help. Air conditioner on plane was off, so even ten minutes of smell bathrm, is just too much when air conditioning is off. I got very congested and had to use the inhaler, after a couple of sneezes due to environmental allergies. On top of that, cleaning people got on to clean w chemicals, only to affect me some more. Now I stuffed up, feel horrible, nite was bad with asthma n allergies that could have been avoided."
Pros: "Checked in through united app - said see agent for seat assignment. This was a connection from Orlando to Milwaukee"
Cons: "I went to the gate agent who was rude, no smile - just said "I have to get checked in I will call you". I waited . She beckoned across for my name. Then called me up with her finger. She asked if I had a ticket (hadn't looked for my name correctly) she told me I'd have to wait until all had boarded and a volunteer gave up their seat. I did get on(last one)- Never a smile or an explanation. Will not fly united again. There are plenty of choices."
Cons: "Untied airlines is the worst airline!!!!!!! Would rather just book through other specific airlines instead of going through here and getting placed with untied! I missed my connecting flight bc they couldn't get their own plane door open!!! Scary!!!!!!"
Pros: "Loved that we had wifi and could watch complimentary movies on our phones. The fight attendants were great, very helpful, and attentive."
Cons: "I miss the screens behind the seats. Don't like using up my battery to entertain myself on a flight. Movies should also be made available on computers. Maybe it was just my computer (MacBook Pro)."
