Eva airlines has very goin service, despite being low cost. Meals and fin, not amazing, restrooms always clean and staff polite and helpful

Flight was canceled was only given only a 8 hour lead time. Had to fight to be put on another airline (United Airlines) that was leaving earlier then the one EVA and rescheduled.
The crews are very efficient. Other airlines should learn from them when it comes to boarding and departing from the airplane. They also display efficiency in serving meals. They don't keep the aisles blocked for hours like some other airlines. The food is poor. Generally the food was unrecognizable and poorly prepared. The only thing that made it better than US flag carriers is that there was a fresh fruit bowl with each meal.
The EVA air staff at Narita did a terrible job with signage and communication. Despite getting to the airport hours before, they had me queue in line and did not communicate that passengers for Kaohsiung need to step out of line to go to a different line. If you put the flight number at the front of the line, people will think that’s their line. If your staff walk silently down the line with a sign of the flight number, how are we supposed to know you want us to follow unless you speak or write that? I even asked the staff with this sign when we could check our bags and they assumed I was on the later flight to Taipei. Later, Wl only 30 minutes remaining I called for help, and the staff looked at me like I was in the wrong. I had to rush through security and customs and had no time to eat or buy a gift. I’m deeply disappointed in the way they handled it, and it caused unnecessary stress on my vacation.
Staff show very stress with delayed flight more than passenger.
Awful had to ask for a supervisor to sit with my flight companion even t booked the tickets together weeks before
EVA airlines was excellent: on time or early, safe, courteous crew. Highly recommended.
EVA! What is going on with your food!?!? Pre pandemic I used to go to Taiwan at least twice a year and always flew EVA — the food was consistently tasty for airplane food. Post pandemic, it’s not great at all. Step it up!
The flight attendants are always fantastic. My only issue – and it was on my Haneda to Vancouver flight – same as my Vancouver to Osaka flight – I had a confirmed special meal and they had no record of it on board. I tried to confirm it with the gate agent in Fukuoka, where I initiated the day, because of the mess up a month ago, and she said that they can't confirm special meals. I'd have to see when I got on board.

Great experienced staff and very pleasant compared to some other international airlines
we were in premium economy, but we both got middle seats and had to sit separately. i could have avoided this by trying to obtain seats sooner, but i tried 3 times and gave up. ANA's technology is not friendly for newcomers. no, check that---I think it is nigh impossible. not sure we are coming back. ana can do better to provide a front end that's friendly to users in both US and Japan.
Checking in via an alliance partner, even a foreign one should get TSA Precheck printed on your boarding pass. The paper copy issued by ANA didn’t show it. I couldn’t get my digital copy due to some technical issue arising because I checked in with ANA. The kiosks at SFO similarly threw an error. The only way I could have gotten a new copy of my boarding pass was from the UA counter and lines were nearly as long as TSA so I bit the bullet and went through the regular TSA line. If UA wants my business, they need to improve that process.
Flight was diverted to Osaka due to engine problems then arrived at a different airport 6 hours late. We were so tired. ANA did the best they could.
The boarding process, food is one of the best, seats are roomier with better leg room.. the attendants are nice and accommodating…
Great as can be expected with a 10 hour flight over the Pacific. Great movie selection of new releases that hadn’t hit streaming yet. And despite the bad rep, I actually like the airplane good.
One of the best business class seats I’ve had. The lie flat seats made it comfortable to endure a 12 hour flight. Service was excellent and food was great.
Almost 6 hours of delay with over 12 gate changes. Flight was supposed to depart around 6 and instead depart after 12am. No accommodations were offered than some snacks closer to midnight when the crew was planning to throw away some snacks.
