I found out coincidentally when i was checking the baggage allowance on the app, When contacting the airline, the only option peresented to us meant we lost a day of our weekend getaway. Had a lot of contact with airline prior to flight, trying to get them to resolve the issue. We could have traveled the first stretch ourselves but the airline refused to accommodate this. The airline outright refused to be forthcoming in agreeing to alternatives that would let ut keep the date we had booked, and so a third of our holiday effectively vanished. This meant a lot of hassle, changing hotel nights, activities etc. Furthermore and after the flight, customer service refused to answer our complaint unless we used their very restrictive online form, which gave us no chance to properly explain what our issues were. They have of course denied our complaint, and so i have to bring the matter further. If you have an alternative airline to use, please do. SAS treats its customers as a necessary evil.

I feel the service staff do not treat American customers well. I also feel there may be discrimination against minorities.
Yes avoid JFK airport at all costs. A horror to navigate.
No free Wi-Fi. I have SkyMiles but not a high status, having an account has been enough for Wi-Fi on other flights, but this one was going to charge me to use it. Also turbulence was really bad toward the end, but I didn't count this in my ratings since I know Delta cannot control the weather - it's 2026 and lack of WiFi alone is enough for a poor rating.
My daughter always gets sick when we order the gluten free meal option. Internet didn’t work as advertised.

Curious and efficient service ! First time flying with SAS and very pleased!
I wish they have given us explanations for the delays. And the rebooking process in Copenhagen was too long. I had to wait about 4 hours before they assign me a hotel. From there the handling process (accommodation, transportation and meal) was excellent.
We paid for saga class, which is the business class for international. My seat was broken and did not recline and my monitor for in-flight entertainment was broken.
The flight itself was fine, even with a one-hour delay leaving on the Reykjavik tarmac (the lost time was made up during flight). Our experience at the Reykjavik airport on arrival was terrible due mostly to the one hour it took for passport control. Only two stations were open for our category, and the room was full with a huge crowd.
Awful. The Iceland airport was a complete mess. Boarding was a chaotic, the seats were awful, there was a group of rowdy 20 something men in our row hooting and hollering, ordering alcoholic drink after drink. Yelling and laughing at the top of their lungs and the crew just went along with it. Passengers complained to the men, asking if they could keep it down (it was a night time flight so people wanted to sleep). They never listened crew continued to laugh with them, flirt with them and serve them more drinks. No free food or snacks, seats were horribly uncomfortable. Worst flight I've had in a long time
The Check-in process at CDG was confusing and the crew was not helpful. But the flight was on-time and that is most important to me.
At least one soda free, felt like I was nickeled to death.
Friendly flight crew. Airplane (757) configured as a domestic flight (no lie-flat seats) & no advanced meal selection.
When you consider the price I ended up paying for everything. This was not a good deal! I had no idea that this airline had changed to a bargain basement no frills airline. So, it was disappointing to have to pay for every little thing. The only thing included was water and coffee. You have to pay for everything else! So I just felt nickel and dime.
The Icelandair crew was so kind!!! Thank you for making my first trip to Paris a great one!

Second time with Saga Premium, everything was fab, but the entertainment centre on both my flights didn't work, plus the seat on the NY to Rek flight (Airbus) was so solid and so uncomfortable. The 737Max flight's seat was much, much better.
