Flight was already late and when we went to land we had to circle the airport a few times

Very good

Horribly unexplained delays. Massive confusion at Midway with departure gates. Actual crew on board worked really hard.

I enjoyed my trip flight was quick only wish they had more variety of snacks to choose from

Cons: "Used southwest to have open middle seats and safer travel due to Covid. Was notified only 2 days before that flights would be full! Too late to rearrange all our travel plans. Other than masks on, the planes and waiting area were crowded. Social distancing was nonexistent and impossible. Did not remotely live up to safety standards we were led to expect while flying during COVID :("

We boarded the plane from BWI to PVD and sat for 1 hour at the gate while we were told we were waiting on 13 additional bags from late arriving flights to be loaded onto the plane. When I arrived at PVD my checked bag as well as the bags of several other passengers had not been loaded on to the plane. I spent an additional 1/2 hour or more locating a representative for my lost baggage. The lost baggage representative could not locate my bag and told me that she could not see information about where it was and I would have to contact the airport. I now have to be available during a 4 hour delivery window for my baggage delivery. Customer service is not available outside of business hours. I understand that bags get delayed, but to tell us the entire flight was delayed for 1 hour to load bags and then not have the bags arrive as they should is very misleading. To have a delayed baggage representative on the phone that can’t access the same information about my bag as the representative at the airport sets a very low standard. This is the last time I plan to fly with Southwest. I have lost confidence in them as an airline."

There were not enough people to staff the bars in the JFK terminal before our flight boarded. Waited 15 minutes for one bartender to return from break. At next bar, in front of gate #16 there was no bartender. After 15 minutes someone appeared, only to take orders and disappear. Finally got a drink at a restaurant, nearby, but they said the drink had to be consumed there, not taken in the plane. No alcohol was offered on the plane between JFK and Burlington. Baggage crew ripped the handle off my Rimowan luggage."

The flight departed late and the interior temperature was very cold for the first hour of the flight. Eventually it warmed up to a normal temperature. The crew was great. My seat in comfort class was comfortable. There was no food served---only snacks.

The flight attendants were happy!

I’ve flown multiple times this summer during Covid, having that middle seat vacant has made traveling by air for me a very good, comfortable thing again. Don’t ever go back to packing us in like cattle car flights!!"

Cons: "The flight was scheduled for 7:45 pm. Due to the storm the day before, my flight out of Miami was cancelled and I was told that the flight out of W Palm Beach was my only option. I paid $150 for an Uber at 4 pm. At 6:37, I got an email with news of a two hour delay. I would’ve appreciated an earlier notice. But much worse was the boarding experience. As half the passengers had boarded, someone announced that we had to have everyone boarded and seated in 5 minutes, or else the crew would time out, and we’d have to stay in WPalm. This set off a frenzy, with seated passengers yelling at the people boarding to hurry!! I was told by the pilot while exiting in LGA, that we made it by 30 seconds! It could’ve been handled so much better!"

As an example, if you have a "Zone 2" boarding pass, you think you will be second to board when in reality that means you are second to last to board. After those who need extra time, those with small children, active military, premier, whatever.... all that covers about 2/3 of the passengers. Then of course there's all the stepping over those who already boarded which seems to slow the process overall. It would be better to ask these questions when making your reservation. Then, the zones would be appropriate based on how you made your reservation to begin with."

Some of the finest flight attendants, and they were kind.

We did not have to wear stupid masks!

Delayed original flight multiple times. Then rebooked us on a flight from Miami. Sat thru an hour and a half taxi ride through rush hour. During check-in none of the terminals worked and all passengers had to wait in huge lines for manual processing. Once aboard the plane we waited for two hours for mechanical issues. Finally they tell us to leave the plane walk to the other end of another gate in the airport for a few plane only to discover it isn't scheduled to leave for another hour. I never would have purchased this flight. Because of all this I missed dinner and I have dietary restrictions that eliminate most food available in an airport. Other health issues keeping me stressed and up this late for a red eye flight will almost certainly trigger a migraine ruining my vacation. On top of all this I'm still paying full price!

Everything went smooth

Flight was no more than average. On time,, clean, decent beverage service, OK landing.

Entertainment options were great! You had my tomato juice choice thank you. The boarding was so fast and efficient that we took off earlier than our flight time. Thank you for allowing a carry on and personal item without charging What could be better: on the flight to Florida both my cup and my friends cup broke and the juice from mine and water from hers leaked. The plastic is very fragile.

For the umpteenth time, the airlines did not pick-up my TSA Precheck on my app boarding pass

The pretzels were ok, but a wider assortment of snack choices would be better.

Cons: "The airline is so outdated and behind the times of their competitors, their in that they don't have in flight entertainment unless you download their app and give them your email address. On top of that when I originally booked my flights, I had made sure to have 1.5 hr for a layover between my connecting flights. Well, they decided to move up my connector such that I had 25 minutes to run across 2 terminals. They only give you pretzels on the plane, and a single soda drink. They offer you "food bundles" but why do I want to pay $8 for a sandwich that costs $1 to make."

When boarding, one pass failed scan. They immediately printed another without comment. While in line to board my friend noticed they changed her seat from 4D to 36F. We returned to complain. They said that seat or middle seat in row 29is only choice. I said we paid for upgrade. They said to ask for a refund at LAX when landing at midnight. Asked passenger in 4D when he got his seat assignment - SAME DAY as flight, paid nothing for upgrade. I signed up for frequent flier program two weeks ago. Will be cancelling when card is received."

Cons: "on tarmac 1-1/2 hours conflicting info....went from delay due to traffic/weather, to extended flight time due to reroute, to asking 10 people to volunteer to get off or 10 would be chosen to have to get off, 4 people volunteered, was holding my breath to be “picked off” when the 4 people were let back on and we took off an hour late. the flight steward spoke so unreasonably fast you couldn’t understand a word she said and she had an overall bad attitude....very disappointing from United"

While pleased that chicken on salad was moist, would have liked another option. There was none. While not associated with flight, had to race between Chicago concourses to make the connection. Hard landing in Chicago. Flight attendant (young) said it was the hardest she'd felt."

The plane also heading to Newark ahead of us was overbooked and some people were pushed onto our plane, not a big deal if all can fit on the plane...but we wouldn't have if it wasn't for the delay causing those flying to Boston to miss their flights. Frustrating and adds an element of concern when faced with delays when the weather is fine. The internet on the plane is also confusing to use...should be clearer. Mistakenly booked my flight before realizing the new carry on policy, so trying to pack everything into a tiny bag to meet requirements was frustrating... definitely don't think I will be booking United again."
Cons: "I missed my original connecting flight in EWR because there was no gate available when we landed. After waiting several minutes, we taxiied to a different gate. I called customer service to let them know we were on the ground waiting for a gate assignment. Despite this, the flight boarded and left with several people missing the connection even though that flight pushed back later than its original time and departed almost an hour late. The plane was sitting there with the door closed. After that, I was put on the next available flight which was already delayed more than 2 hours. That delay extended even longer and was eventually cancelled due to weather. United CS reps were not willing to address passenger concerns. They closed the CS area in some portions of the airport forcing everyone to a very limited number of reps. I ended up having to rent a car and spending the first 5 hours of my birthday driving home. I should have been able to make my connecting flight and would have avoided the entire mess. Instead, I am out of my ticket price plus the additional cost of renting a car since my changed flight was cancelled due to weather not the gate assignment changes that originally caused me to miss the connection. What should have been a brief 4-5 hour trip ended up being almost a 20 hour day....United absolutely SUCKS!"

On a side note many things could be improved by offering free checked baggage and charge for overhead bins.... so many delays, arguments and general aggravation caused by people struggling for overhead bin space... just have a guaranteed spot overhead for a fee.... no more aggravation period... when they started charging for checked bags but offered free carry on the problems got worse... flip it around and several problems go away... simple."

So either way we were going to have a longer day and extra leg.....which I only paid for ONE plane change. After running to the gate because my first flight was late taking off, this flight was delayed due to engine issues. The agent had us standing in line for 1 1/2 hours while she tried to figure out what was going on. So instead of taking off at 5:40 pm, we took off at 9 pm and still had to catch a bus from Boston to Providence...HORRIBLE Flight = Long Day/Night"
